After years of driving anxiety, I worked with Mohammed to finally get my license. He was so patient and made me feel at ease while teaching me everything I'd need to know to pass the test and improve my driving. I used his car for my test at the Hamden DMV and passed with a perfect score the first time!! I'm so glad I chose 123 and I recommend them 100% to anyone looking for a judgement-free, easy learning experience.

I would just like to say , this was the best experience for me ! I came from another driving school which didn’t work out for me. I was a nervous wreck to try again and financially was not able to spend a ton of money for lessons. I came across 123 driving and not only were their prices great! The service and training I was received was beyond what I expected. I passed my test on the first try ! I completely recommend this school . They are accommodating and the instructors are amazing . I personally had Mohammed and I couldn’t have passed without him. Thank you so much!!!!!! Well worth the money.
Hands down the best driving school in CT! Instructor Mohamed is very professional. He was always so patient during the lessons and was explaining all the rules in very detailed and yet so simple ways. He even gave me the opportunity to practice before the test on the test day, which was like an extra 30min of free driving lesson. Definitely the place to go if you want to learn how to drive quickly and pass the road test.
I passed my road test with him in Hamden. Mohhammad is the OG out there. Hands down. Everyone knows him in DMV. I recommend everyone 1.2.3 Driving School.

I recently took my driving test and unfortunately failed because of unclear and unsafe instructions from the instructor. During the test, I was in the left-hand lane when he told me to “go right.” I asked for clarification since those instruction didn’t match where I was on the road, but he repeated “go right” several times. So I followed his direction exactly as stated, even though I knew it wasn’t correct, because he insisted multiplee times to “go right” Afterward, instead of acknowledging the confusion, he made comments about my disabilities and told me to “stop making excuses” and “you have a lot of diseases all of a sudden” when literally all I said was that I have dyslexia & Autism and need his instructions to be clearer… I wouldn’t be as upset about failing if it were because of my OWN mistake, but in this case, the error happened because of unclear and inconsistent instructions from the instructor. So Long story short, he told me to cut across lanes and cars to make a right turn instead of letting me take the left and correct it. When I asked for clarification multiple times, he got irritated and repeated “go right,” so I did, and then he failed me for following his own instructions.
The whole Next Street team is excellent. The Watertown testing location ran like a well-oiled machine, even though it was quite busy, operated quickly and smoothly. Dan was a great host and facilitator. Very personable and knowledgeable, did a great job keeping the testers calm and comfortable.
Very nice instructor Dan P. teaches very well to his student drivers. My personal experience was great and I enjoyed my time learning. I had Heather L. on one of my lessons and she was a very good teacher and she was very very sweet. Overall my experience was great!
I had my second lesson with Dan in Watertown and he was amazing. Dan is calm, funny and made the entire experience stress-free. He is extremely knowledgeable on every aspect of driving from lane changing to parallel parking, and I learned a lot in just a two hour lesson. I am looking forward to lesson 3 and 4. If you are thinking about lessons at the next street, Dan is the one to do them with.
Took my driving lessons with Daniel Peitler and had an amazing experience. He is a great, patient, and kind instructor who helped me prepare for my driving test with all the knowledge that he has. I can’t recommend this driving school enough, and if you can schedule him as an instructor please do! I am definitely recommending him and this school to everyone I know.

I got a class for 8-hour Safe Class by Sylvie. She is very kind and teach very well, especially No boring and teaching importnat point. She speak 4 languages (english, spanish, french, and ltailc). I think NO better choice to get 8-h Safe Class by Sylvie in Chase 2.
Chase 2 Driving School is one of the best if not THE BEST. They thought my son Joel to drive and made him feel very comfortable. All the staff at Chase 2 are so friendly and supportive - they treat you like family. I will definitely recommend them..!
Sylvie was such a great instructor for all the information we could possibly need for the DMV driving test. As many people are visual learners, she guided us through very well by showing videos and een doing drawings. She gave us her own tips on how we can be great but also safe drivers! I appreciated it very much.

I love this school. I learned how to drive because of A1 and the amazing teachers , I’m so grateful. This was honestly the best place for me. I got a guy, with blue eyes and he was pretty fit and he was very funny and very sweet and he took me on the road test. I told him I was on the neurodivergent spectrum and he understood and even worked with me. The test was super easy, honestly practice makes perfect and don’t overthink it too much. I’m so glad I passed and honestly, I have to think this entire establishment. Patricia was amazing too. I usually go for people of color for comfortability – but honestly, I’ve worked with people of all races here and I will say it is very safe and comfortable for a person of color. I also took lessons here and they are very reasonably priced. Was so worth it.

Candice was a great instructor she was kind and patient with me and the atmosphere in the car was very easygoing. Had an amazing time.
Candice is an exceptional driving instructor! Her instructions on parking are crystal clear, and she helped me feel more confident on the road too. She was very patient with me and let and practice pull-ins and back-ins as many times as I needed. She also offered helpful pointers at every step of the lesson. This was my second driving lesson with The Next Street, and I definitely feel like I have improved a ton. I would most definitely recommend The Next Street, especially Candice, for new drivers.
I had 3/4 of my driving lessons with Candice in East Haven and she's an absolutely phenomenal instructor! I improved and learned so much throughout my lessons with her and felt much more prepared than I was when initially starting my lessons. She was able to teach in ways that were easy to follow, she is incredibly nice and gives great directions.
I had Candice and she helped me through everything that I have been needing a bit of work on. She also was able to work with me and explain to me what I was missing and she made me feel that I am ready to pass my test!

My first time driving on the road was with my instructor Opal Lamb. Even though I was nervous the entire 2 hours she was nothing but calming, encouraging, and fun to be with. She literally taught me how to hold the steering wheel and turn the car. She is definitely a must have on the road instructor.
I love Opal she’s an amazing instructor and I will definitely miss going to her class. She made the classes fun and interesting but still very informative.

I had a great experience with this driving school. The staff is very attentive, friendly, and they speak both Portuguese and English, which made everything much easier for me. The instructor, Mr. Forrest, is patient and caring, always paying close attention to my mistakes. Whenever I made an error, he took the time to go over the route again with me to make sure I understood it well. The class was very helpful and thoroughly covered all the topics and subjects needed for the permit test and the road test. I had a great experience! The instructor was kind and easy going and the environment was productive. We watched different movies that positively supplemented the teaching. The class was a small size which was good because it was easy to ask questions and participate. It was also easy to sign up for driving classes online. All in all, I really enjoyed my time with All Star and they prepared me well for the license test.
My daughter just had her first road lesson with Ari Yiannoulis. He was amazing. Explained every detail to us. He was professional & friendly. My daughter felt at ease and safe going out on the road with him. This is my second child going through this process and this was by far the best experience. Thank you Ari.
My experience here was great! I learned everything very easily and the lessons were very well planned out, my instructor was very nice and taught us very well, my class was also very small which I enjoyed as well. This driving school was also the least expensive out of the 3 other driving schools I was considering. While Cindy at C&T Driving School were extremely professional and kind, my experience with Demetrius Brown was alarming. During the pre-test session, he kept using his phone, was verbally impatient, and at one point reached toward the center console near my leg while I was driving—causing me to nearly lose control of the car. This felt unsafe and distracting. I would strongly advise future students to request a different instructor.
This school was very helpful and it’s filled with great instructors. Taina especially was very kind and patient. This school prepared me very well for my driving test and I would definitely recommend it.

Drivers Ed was dun especially with my teacher Karen. She always had funny stories to tell us on the topics we were learning. My class was great overrall also. Everyone always participated and was pleasent.

The Next Street was a great school to learn how to drive. I couldn't have done it without their instruction. My teacher, Karen Spencer, made it fun to learn with her funny stories about her life that made it easier to learn.

This is a great driving school! Karen was an amazing teacher. I love how she told stories that had to do with the subject; it made class interesting, even the boring parts. I recently took a 2-hour mock road test driving lesson with Sarah Phelan, and it was a fantastic experience! From the moment I got in the car, she made me feel comfortable and confident. We went over every aspect of the road test in detail, from parking to highway driving, and Sarah Phelan gave me great feedback and tips on how to improve. What I really appreciated was her calm demeanor and patience. Even when I made mistakes, she never made me feel stressed or rushed. By the end of the lesson, I felt much more prepared for the real test and learned new driving techniques that will help me in the long run. I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor! I began driving lessons 7/3/23, and by 8/15/23 I was driving myself (accompanied by my husband). The instructors are proficient, and very patient. They encouraged and complimented me during my lessons causing my to relax, and build confidence. Another thing I like about A+ Driving School, is that they are flexible in their scheduling. Sara worked with me time and again in booking classes that fit in with my busy lifestyle. Because of their encouragement, and expert training, I passed my road test the first time! (and I'm in my 60s) Thank you team A+, especially Maria! Maria you are the best! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend A+ Driving School to any one.
Rating: ★★★☆☆ for the school overall, ★☆☆☆☆ for my driving instructor I honestly would give this school 3 stars overall, but only 1 star for my driving instructor. To my instructor: if you dislike teaching a student, it’s better to let someone else take over. Throughout my lessons, there was no support or encouragement—only constant yelling over minor mistakes. Instead of building my driving confidence, mine was crushed. They are also unreliable with timing. Lessons often started late but still ended on time. Once, my instructor even took a phone call during my one-hour lesson that lasted nearly half an hour. On my last day of class, my one-hour session was cut in half because my DMV road test registration—which I had reminded him about twice over the phone and twice in person—was done during my scheduled lesson time. On the day of my road test, he arrived 30 minutes late to our appointment, without an apology. The drive to the DMV was heavy with traffic, but instead of offering reassurance, the ride was filled with silence and constant sighs—almost as if to say, “You’ll fail anyway.” What frustrates me most is that I could have passed my road test the first time. I failed because of one “critical” backing error. I had asked him about this skill before, but he told me I didn’t need to do it—yet it turned out to be exactly what the examiner was looking for. That single piece of incorrect guidance cost me my passing result. I hope this school takes student feedback seriously and ensures instructors focus on teaching, supporting, and building confidence—not breaking it—and that they respect students’ time.

I am leaving a poor review for one reason only: This school expects leniency and flexibility from its students but does not reciprocate that same respect and courtesy back. TLDR: they rescheduled on me the morning of, and then charged me a no show fee when the instructor was not the one I needed. What happened: my first lesson was with Rita in early June. Having had a bunch of lessons with another instructor at a different school, I have some anxiety about trying someone new. I knew in my heart that I was going to try this out again, and if it was a good instructor, I will only book lessons with that person. If not, then I will go with another school. Rational or not, that was my prerogative. Rita was an excellent instructor and I specifically asked her at the end of my first lesson: is there a way I can book lessons with you and only you? She kindly told me to do it online. So, I did. When I booked online, I didn’t think that the instructor would be changed without me knowing. Fast forward to the morning of my lesson. I was alerted by text and voicemail from a Melissa that due to a “scheduling conflict” the class would be postponed by 30 minutes. I gave them grace — things happen — and said “ok no problem I’ll be there”. I show up and was told Rita was sick (sorry, Rita, I truly hope you’re feeling better). Absolutely NO disrespect to Michael (he seems very very very nice but given that I booked with Rita and was not told ANYTHING prior that she was not going to be there), I did not want to continue the lesson. In my mind, I paid for a lesson WITH RITA, and was not informed that the lesson was WITHOUT RITA. Regardless of Michael (or another instructor)’s demeanor or ability, that is just not what I purchased. Instead of showing me a tiny bit of grace like I have shown them by accommodating the last minute reschedule, Melissa tried to: 1) argue why I was not comfortable with Michael. Again, no shade to Michael - but just not what I booked. I booked a class with someone I already know. Do not bring in whether I have tested or not, whether the test instructor was going to be a stranger or not. These are outside of the facts. I purchased a particular service with a particular instructor and just was not given that. 2) argue that I should have specified earlier that I want lessons with Rita and only Rita. Why should I have? If you book a service with someone, obviously you want the service with that person. I was not aware that for me to get that particular person I had to explicitly declare that. It was my FIRST time rescheduling with this school. I found their inability to reschedule without charge absolutely hypocritical and unacceptable. In that case, shouldn’t I be NOT CHARGED because TNS rescheduled on me last minute? Anywho, sorry to say I won’t be going back out of principle. $380 gone and all I got was a terrible phone convo with Melissa. Yay.
David Yachtis is one of the best instructors I have had. He helped me gain confidence behind the wheel and was extremely encouraging and helpful. He helped me get my license!!

I am writing this the day I got my license, first try after having learned to drive in Epic Driving School. I had a wonderful experience learning how to drive through Epic. My driving instructors were calm, incredibly friendly, and all around a big relief to have. I’ve heard a lot of horror stories from friends about their driving experiences and I am glad to say driving with Epic is not that. I used the driving school in Bethel with the full teen program I believe. I would 100% recommend to anyone looking to learn to drive.

Pésimo servicio, deberían de hacer mejoras con sus instructores y hacerles un seguimiento oportuno, pues en las ocasiones que tuve clases el señor se la pasó en su teléfono, asumía que ya sabía manejar cuando por eso fue que pedí las clases, fue muy grosero y también me levantaba la voz. Los autos que utilizan para enseñar también estaban muy sucios. Adicional es extremadamente costoso todo, para el mal servicio que brindan.

I was very impressed when a examiner from DMV said to my daughter as she was taking the test, that the instructor of this driving school is "the best", because the students from this driving school are the most prepared, and have the most knowledge. Well I think the examiner was right, because my daughter passed on her first try.
Pedro is an amazing instructor! He really prepairs you for the road test! I passed on my first try without having any previous experience. If you wanna become a good driver, I would advise you to go with Eagle.

High ridge driving school gave me my first experience behind the wheel as an adult. Learning at an older age can be scary but Driving classes were accessible and extremely helpful, everyone has been helpful and patient through my entire experience. I would highly recommend attending driving classes here and even taking the road test with the school. The experience was very easy!
Took the 8 hour safety driving course and the instructors were great people. Bruce was funny and was able to make the classes fly by. I recommend the zoom classes as they were great and easy.
If you are thinking twice about this driving school, I say sign up! It was the best decision I made. The school made my experience so easy, from booking of lessons to the road test. Everyone from front desk to management were kind and want the best for their students. The best part was that DMV comes to the school! Shoutout to William who was extremely patient with me with every lesson. He even worked with my busy schedule to be available for my lessons. THANK YOU William and the whole driving school team.

I took the accelerated course and completed all 30 hours in two weeks. In that time I learned a ton of stuff in a very short amount of time. Both Dana and Donavon were great instructors for the classes.

This school took advantage of my young and inpatient daughter and charged her $500 for a couple of hours of driving lessons. They did not make any arrangements with DMV and they did not take her to take her driving test. The instructor also told her to make an appointment with DMV before she even received the form she needed from him so that cost an additional $80. I will be filing a small claims suit against them.
I had a great experience with my instructor, Bernie. He taught me a lot and helped me pass my driving test on the first try. I would highly recommend this driving school to other immigrants like myself.
I can honestly say he was very pleasant .. helpful.. very nice.. very responsive and very honest... I wasn't sure if I was going to pass before I took my driving lesson but after taking his class I felt more confident and he will tell you what you did wrong but he will also help you correct it... I recommend everyone for this school great prices, great environment, great customer service ... I can't believe it I'm so freaking thankful for this school ... definitely come here
Bernie was amazing! Coming into the driving school with no experience, he was such an amazing instructor. Whether it was the tips and tricks on all types of parking, the ways to make turns, how to keep proper speed, or how calm he was during my lessons, everything was so helpful. Even if you can find a cheaper price, the money you spend with him is worth every dollar. I passed my first try without a single error all because of how great Bernie was. 5/5 stars if you want to be as prepared as possible for your test!

After putting off getting my license for many years due to a traumatic experience as a teenager, I finally sought help to overcome my phobia of driving. Gratefully, I came across this driving school, and I'm so glad I did! With much care and patience, Tania helped me gain basic driving skills and confidence behind the wheel. I passed my test on the second try(no fault of hers), and I just purchased my first car this past weekend! I couldn't have done it without her help and understanding of this sensitive situation. Im so happy I read the reviews before picking a school, I read about a rude Indian guy and said oh nooo and im happy I did. My experience at C&T driving school for my 8-hr course was wonderful. I dreaded it for so long but the instructor teaches very well. Even after her getting into an accident prior to class she was so kind, helpful, and professional. Time flew by really fast as the class was fun and everyone had a smile. Its not the most upscale place by the looks but the manner they hold them selves is more upscale then a pretty establishment, The instructor women was sincere and truly wants you to pass and answers every question you have. I passed my knowledge test because I went to this school. she was more helpful then the drivers manual. I recommend this place 100%... its upbeat, friendly, and you don't end up counting the seconds. They take personal interest into each individual. I left wanting to go back to just hang out. You leave there with a feeling of reassurance and the feeling of having a new friend, just be careful watching the videos they are scary and horrific. like the walking dead show but real! DONT GO ANYWHERE ELSE YOULL REGRET IT. The 8 hours fly by

I went to epic driving school but it didn’t work out for me due to having poor instructors. My friends and family recommended LTD driving school, and i’m so glad i gave the school a chance. My instructor name was Omar, he was fun, patient, straightforward, and understanding. I felt 10x better leaving my practice lesson, and felt 100x better passing my road test later that same week. if you are reading this please do not waste your time and money at another driving school. my experience in this school was better and there was a big difference between this school comparing to epic driving school, the staff here is caring and kind and making driving on the road more calming.

Hanniyah was a great teacher for my lesson, she's very fun and connected with us students.
It was a good class but I expected to do actual driving without scheduling the drives. However other than that it was a comprehensive and easier to understand class. Nichole covered a lot of useful information and expanded on topics with examples and background knowlege.
Fun class, all around good experience. Would recommend to anyone looking to learn to drive! Jessica was a great teacher as well!

PDS is an affordable and excellent option for quality driving lessons. I have had lessons with both Gary and Diane so far, so I will go over both. Gary: Gary is a great instructor who makes the driving experience enjoyable as well as comfortable with his funny and bubbly personality. He pays attention to what your good habits are as well as bad, and will push you to reach your full potential as a driver. Diane: Diane was my first instructor at Phil’s driving school. She will make you feel at ease and comfortable while driving. I went on the highway my first lesson with her.
My daughter test was scheduled for April 9th. She was removed from the testing sheet by the owner Casey Hubelblank without being notified by anyone, until she arrived. I spoke with Shirley Hally, who informed me that technically, Ms/Mrs. Hubelblank was not supposed to to remove her unless they notified her. Shirley, then decides to say she is going to sent my daughter to a much further location and if they can’t get her scheduled in time, then my daughter will just have to retake her permit test, which would be an additional costs to her. Shirley then made it personal, by starting to point out that my daughter waited too long to come get her test and when I said she is young and driving on unfamiliar roads could be scary, she became rude. She even made a comment that “this has nothing to do with my daughter’s race,” and no one brought race up! She threw everyone in the building under the bus except herself. I would never recommend this place if it was the last place on earth. And they have an instructor who they admitted to getting complaints of him being in appropriate, driving with my daughter and doing just that. I’m gonna file a complaint with Motor Vehicle and Better Business Bureau.
I passed my test recently and it’s all thanks to this school. My instructor was Gary who was very patient with me while I had anxiety driving and encouraged me to take my test even when I second guessed myself. Their prices are also more affordable compared to most other driving schools. I had one lesson with another driving school before and it was horrible— the instructor made me more anxious and was snapping at me instead of teaching me. So I only took the rest of my lessons at Phil’s! I’d like to mention that Tina was also very kind and motivated me the day of my test. Thank you guys!!

I had a great experience with Kurt. He was blunt, candid, and very informative. I liked how he expressed personal life experiences because detail and to the point.
Dropped my son off there last week and didn’t know what to expect. The instructor kept the class engaged especially my son which is hard to do !! Would highly recommend for teenagers!!

In the beginning I was very stressed and scared about driving but decided it was time for me to get my license. My sister went to Santos and recommended it to me. I took 13 hours of lessons at Santos with no practice at home and I was able to pass my driver's test. With the help and support from Yajaira I was able to conquer this big fear of mine and pass the test.
I had a great experience. My driver was john. He honestly wants everyone to pass their test. He helped build my self esteem and made me believe that I can do this! Thank you so much john. I passed my test thanks to him and Whenever I drive I can hear his voice saying "RELAX" lol.. great instructor hands done!
The Staff is Amazing. Yahaira is always efficient and very helpful. Bruno is one of top Driver Instructor. He is so patient and very knowledgeable. The whole staff is awesome and knowledgeable!!! Thank you ,Santos Driving School!!!
Best driving experience I've had. Jay gave the best explanation for everything and walked me through the payments. She explained each class thoroughly and walked me through each stage from getting my permit to getting my license.
Worst driving school ever & a waste of money. I payed for behind the wheels driving and the older man who was suppose to be teaching me how to drive kept yelling at me. He kept saying “Jesus Christ” “Oh my God” and yelling at me “What are you doing?!” I’ve never been so nervous to drive before. At one point I was reversing and he did not tell me he was no longer going to give me further instructions and that he wanted me to figure it out. I ended up driving on the curb because he failed to tell me he wanted to see if I can do it on my own, in which of course he yelled at me again. I ended up crying because of how nervous I was. Very unprofessional, very rude, made me extremely nervous to drive.

Went there for my 8 hour classes and driving I learned how to park and drive in one day you can't judge a book buy its cover and that's what I did when I seen the building but amazing place to teach you everything u need to learn

They r the best
Gregory was an absolute delight to work with. My child had the full course, and we live in Southbury, so it was a bit out of the way for them but no sweat!! They worked with us several times around her sports and after school things, then once COVID-19 hit, they made sure to reach out and gave us time to regroup. She actually passed her offsite test on July 10th!! My baby is licensed thanks to Greg Jr. and Tom!! Wonderful drivers and wonderful people.
Please find a different school !! These people are soo unprofessional and irresponsible!! Told my sister 3 different exam dates . mind you she already had the testing date set months ago!! when taking lessons they would send her different dates when she already had the dates noted 😡😡 Instructor was disgusting telling her inappropriate things Disgusting place !irresponsible!!! DO NOT waste your time 😠 Does not let me post unless i give a star. but in reality this is Zero stars
This school is just out for the money. Look for another school. They charge $25 to reprint a paper that takes two seconds. They also made my son run around town to find a printer just to complete their form and bring it back to them so they can give him the certificate of completion. We could have paid them $1 to print it but instead we had to use gas going across town to staples just to return for them to give him the certificate. He had already paid for the course. It’s just ridiculous and if I were you I would look elsewhere.
I would personally would AVOID this company if you were thinking about taking the 8 Hour Safe Driving Course. Gregor Burrus did not sign the class tracker of mine or give me a yellow slip. When calling and coming in person he acted like he couldn’t be bothered and even said that he could see that I was there due to the specific papers you’d only have if you were in the class but, he couldn’t authorize it because by law I would need the yellow slip from him but, he never gave me one. I took the class back in 2021 on Zoom and $99 dollars down the drain. I also feel if I were a teacher or instructor I would at least show some compassion or at the time call, email, or get in contact some sort of way to ensure my students got all their credentials to guarantee they would be able to take the road test. As my responsibility as a teacher and or instructor. When I went in today Gregor Burrus told me about the yellow paper and told the girl to show me a copy of what the yellow slip. Then he left/drove off and never checked to see if I had it or not or show any concern.
