There is no way to accurately convey the top notch school that Idaho CDL is in a simple review. That said I will try. From my first phone conversation to my last in office conversation where they handed me my Certificate of Completion I felt like they were happy to have me choose them for my training. This is a top tier professional driving school. The instructors (Jason, Barney Ned, and Kelly) were the kindest, most patient and professional driving team you could ask for. Even the examiner was truly professional and made you feel like he wanted you to succeed! Check your ego and know-it-all attitude at the door and let this team guide you to success. They are not the cheapest training you can find but they will get you from never having driven a 10 speed truck (or any truck for that matter) to professional driver in about a week!! I challenge you to find a better team of people to help you start your driving career. They deserve more than 5 stars! Trust me. If I can do it anyone can! Check your mirrors!!! John Brett Hays

I had a great 3 day training here and passed my first try on the test thanks to the preparation from Ned at the Boise location training center, Ned was a very friendly and easy going guy that helped you get everything down to perfection!! The staff is very easy to connect with in a short time highly recommended place to go for your CDL… thanks again Ned and Marvin for the great experience with training and testing.

I’ve heard lots of nightmare stories from others trying to obtain a CDL. Mostly highlighting how long, drawn out, and how big of a pain the whole process is. Such was not the case here. Professional circumstances left me with very little time between committing to a course, and the start of training. Katelynn in the office did a great job keeping me on track, and following up to make sure I was able to meet important deadlines prior to my start day. For the training itself, I had the pleasure of working with Richard, and Jason. They were both very easy to get along with, and did an awesome job teaching me the skills, and providing the knowledge needed to be successful. They had plenty to share and teach, backed by practical experience, and both really seemed to enjoy what it is that they do. Come test day, Marvin was the man with the final assessment of my competency. He was very professional, and clear on instruction throughout the test. After passing, he gave a good summary of the things I did well, offered some fine tuning tips and constructive criticism toward things I can continue to work on moving forward. All that to say, it was a great experience. Fantastic work, all the way around. I’ve already recommended this school to a couple friends looking to obtain a CDL. And to the crew at Idaho CDL Training, thanks again!

In this class I remember being super nervous at the start of it, I ended up reading the whole book the first week of my school starting. I wasn't exactly aware that I was 17 and could just take the test. However I'm glad my mom did sign me up for in-person class. The class normally woke me up because we had the class 4-9:30 pm. They always made the class interactive, gave out treats, and made amazing jokes. This is probably one of most funniest classes I've had in my life.

Great class. Instructors were engaging and concise. Schedule was well-structured and organized, but also convenient and flexible towards your needs. I learned everything I needed to and felt very confident with my driving by the end. Rob was a blast, best Driver's Ed. instructor by far. Overall, awesome program👌.

This was the best experience i have ever had in my entire life. it is the utmost respectable driving school. if anything they should charge more. this is truly the driving school of the high society. the driving teacher robb reminded me of adam sandler.

Great expirence! Best teachers with fabulous personalities. They have a huge sense of humor. They know when to mess around and have fun and when it's time to be serious. I feel safe in the car with them. If you don't have a sense of humor you will not get very far in this class. Best class ever! Definitely recommend it. And it is a little more spendy, but hey, you get to drive those cool cars with rob, scott, jerry, and the rest! :)

★★★★★ 5/5 (but like… only because I can’t give 500) If you’re not looking for the best time of your life while learning how to drive, then PLEASE avoid Rob at all costs. Seriously. Who wants a driving instructor who actually makes parallel parking less terrifying and throws in sarcasm smoother than a freshly paved road?? Not me, obviously. Rob is way too good at what he does—like HELLOOO, who told him to be helpful and hilarious?? Pick a struggle please sir. Every lesson was filled with just the right mix of “if you were thinking, you wouldn’t have thought that” energy and “beautiful work, this is why you are the favorite” support. It’s like being roasted and mentored all at once. A literal life skill and a comedy show?? Again, too much. Honestly, I wouldn’t even dare to put a price on his class—because it’s priceless, duh. The sarcasm? Chef’s kiss. The encouragement? Unmatched. The driving skills? He practically downloaded them into my brain. (Now I critique my own parents haha!) So yeah, if you like laughing while learning, feeling safe behind the wheel, and not getting bored while figuring out roundabouts—Rob’s your guy. But beware: you will miss him when it’s over. IDAHO DRVING SCHOOL FOR THE WIN! (Rob likes powdered donuts, and I’m the favorite so if he tells you one day that you are the favorite, he is lying).

Treasure valley driving school has been so great to work with. Bree has been amazing with my adult daughter with some disabilities that have made learning to drive difficult. She explains everything in a way that my daughter understands and is so calm when driving with her. I would definitely use treasure valley driving school again especially for someone who learning to drive is extra hard.

My driving experience was great sue to my instructor, Kayla Cashdollar. She was very patient, informative, and easy to get along with. She made me look foreword to my driving lessons and it was a fun experience! I definitely recommend

I had an amazing experience, my teacher was so nice and helped me with everything I needed help with, she was great. I was able to schedule my lessons fast and easy, they were all fun and exciting, I liked how I started the same route every time it helped a lot. All about safe driving has not been only a great learning and safe experience, but very fun as well. Everyone who taught me during class or on a drive made me laugh and have a great time giving me confidence and a peaceful environment that I felt comfortable in. They are a very amazing group of people to be around and I'm sure that anyone else who joins this program would think the same.

My instructor was the absolute best! I have been working so hard on overcoming my fear and anxiety behind the wheel and I was finally able to do it with my instructors help. She was very patient and was great at calming my nerves. She pushed me just enough outside my comfort zone. She also gave me great everyday tips about driving that helped me feel more confident and in control of the car. And when I did make a mistake that left me in a panic, she was able to calm my nerves and helped me to keep driving. When the time came to take the skills test, I passed first try. I feel so much better about driving now.

It is a fairly decent establishment, based upon the bringing about of new, skilled drivers. They teach all about everything within the Idaho Driver's Manual. They help you accomplish all prerequisites to getting your permit. Including but not limited to: - 30 hours of in-class time - 6 hours of driving time - Driving test The building is quite nice, equipped with 2 bathrooms (one of each sex), a kitchen (with a small fridge and microwave), a projector, and much more. The school is okay by itself, but what really is its best feature is the staff. Specifically, the best in his field, world renowned, Kendrick. He looks a lot like Jim Halpert, which makes me feel as if I'm in a more safe environment. He does an amazing job at grasping all the students attention - by being both entertaining and educational. He is the ideal teacher for any scenario. There has not been a time I can remember, while he was teaching, that I have been actively bored. He is very comedic and brings good times to nearly every subject he teaches. To be comepletely honest, no amount they do or can pay him will be enough. In summary, the school is good, but in my honest opinion, it would be basically nothing without Kendrick.

Had an amazing experience with Kendrick his personal insight and stories helped me to better understand the importance of respecting the road and the other drivers. Andy my driving instructor was also phenomenal. He helped me to feel confident in my driving capability by offering step by step guidence whenever I needed it. Both of these men have greatly influenced my life by helping me to understand and be ready for this next phase in my life. Although I will always and forever call parking lots car parks (Andy's British) I'm utterly greatful for this experience.

From start to finish they were undoubtedly professional, helped a difficult situation to become easier. Brian did a great job with the kids. We feel confident that they learned the skills they need for driving. I highly suggest Phillips driving school! Their online courses are a plus too!

Philips driving school is grand. They have this one guy, Kendrick the teacher, who is a splendid teacher. Would recommend this school. 10/10. Phenomenal

Rohan was the best teacher I could’ve asked for, if I had to take drivers ed again it would be through him. It’s too bad he taught us all so well to the point I was done within 2 weeks, Highly recommended!!

Not impressed. My oldest daughter did driving with Idaho Driving School. They were awesome. I went with these gus for my next daughter because they were closer to my house. They didn't teach a lot of driving basics and common sense techniques that the other school did. Overall, I feel like I wasted my money. You get a MUCH better product worth Idaho Driving School for just $20 more. We're definitely NOT doing our driving test with this guy!

I definitely recommend! Rohan is a very good instructor, and you’ll definitely get your moneys worth as it’s so nice to finish drivers ed in 2 weeks while also getting good teaching in the process. Some advice I have is definitely listen to Rohan in the car, because he’s just looking out for your safety and the safety of others even if he can seem a little strict or like he’s yelling. The car rides are also fun, especially if you have a partner along side you and Rohan as well because some funny conversations are definitely held. I recommend Elite Driving School!

This class was amazing. There was never a dull moment while in the classroom and while driving. In the classroom the instructor was able to keep the entire class engaged and eager to learn. Also while driving the instructor will make sure you are comfortable and know everything there is to know about driving on the road. And the fact that it is such a quick class is a very big plus. You don't have to spend weeks going to class at another school. Instead you can go here and knock it out really quick. I highly recommend this school if you want to have a fun, fast-paced, and safe learning environment.

the class it’s self doesn’t take long at all and is very easy . the instructor is an awesome dude and the environment of the classroom is always fun. when driving mr. rohan does a really good job at really making sure you understand the rules of the road and assists you as well as teaches you how to drive properly. :)

I highly recommend Tomi Hawkins if you are looking for your teens to learn to drive safely in the Boise area. I first met Tomi in 2012, when I entered the drivers education field. Tomi took me under her wing, and became my mentor. I cannot express how much Tomi has taught me, over the years. Tomi is without a doubt, a leader in our industry. Every instructor I know calls Tomi for any guidance they need. Tomi gave me the skills, and the tools that I needed to maneuver through different learning styles with each student, She helped me learn how to best help special needs students, and students that just really struggle with the motor skills required to learn safely. This can be a rough task, but she is so dedicated to helping your kids stay alive in our overgrown communities. I am thankful that we have mentors and exceptional instructors like Tomi, that are committed to turning out drivers that will stay alive, and that others would not regret sharing the road with! Thank you for all you do for others, Tomi Hawkins.

Tomi was very professional and patient w my granddaughter. I was very pleased with the amount of time spent on teaching. I recommend Hawkins Drivers Education to any and All who need that extra time learning to drive with a hired professional.

Tomi was calm, professional, and very nice throughout my entire driving experience. She adapts to every student, and for me, she helped me with my first time behind the wheel, a rarity for her students. I liked that it was a one-on-one experience. Throughout my 3 lessons, she was calm, professional, and never faltered. Amazing job!
