The trainers are really friendly and makes us more comfortable to get the training.. as far as I have heard maximum students got their CDL from their first attempt and myself also got recently in my first attempt.. overall this is a good place to get the training for the beginners… I would like to thank Buck, Austin and Corey for giving me more confidence..
I had a great experience at 160 Driving Academy! The instructors were hands-on and very passionate about giving us the tools that we need to succeed in the trucking industry. Dr. James Dix is an exceptional driving coach. His patience, clear instruction, and ability to instill confidence transformed my daughter's driving experience. My daughter has severe anxiety, but she felt comfortable learning from Dr. Dix. He taught her the rules of the road and fostered a sense of calm and responsibility behind the wheel, making him an invaluable mentor. My other daughter will start her lesson with him today as well. In addition, what sets Circle City Driving Academy apart is its commitment to equitable scheduling, which ensures all students access driving lessons within a decent timeframe, a refreshing contrast to the frustrating delays experienced elsewhere. These guys are the best. I don't think I would have had a better experience anywhere else. Mr. James was always attentive to every detail and made sure I understood where I need to improve. Clyde is awesome instructor I had I heard his voice the entire time and pass one and done. Overall school was a good experience learned so much in a little time. I was stressed and thought I never could do it when I first started coming to this school but if I can do it literally anyone can.
The curriculum is sufficient and informative enough that anyone should receive their CDL on their first attempt. My only concern is that they need more trucks so students get more road time and gear shifting experience especially if they have never driven a manual transmission. And each instructor teaches from their own opinions and views so techniques, rules, driving procedures, and information is not consistent from instructor to instructor. If you can effectively sift through the clutter of information and apply it correctly and ask alot of questions you should be fine. It's not a bad program...Just a bit disorganized.

Ralph, Spoon, Peter, and Mike have all been very good at helping and teaching the ways of trucking. For me personally Ralph was the most help he stayed by my side and helped with everything I was struggling on. He was very rough and hard on his students but he knew it’s what we needed. Hands down recommended this school for truck driving.

Great school. Took me a while to learn manual but the instructors were patient and professional
This school was awesome. So glad I went here. I quit my job in order to pursue truck driving and get out of the work place. This was by far the hardest thing I ever did. I knew nothing. I learned how to drive a manual. I learned so much from all the great instructors and even the director took time out to help us on the range. Even when I felt like it wasn’t for me or couldn’t grasp backing up, they kept pushing me, believing in me, and encouraging me. One instructor stayed over and helped me before I went to take my test the next day. My classmates were awesome as well. We worked together on pre-trip and encouraging one another. We all passed eventually and all have a CDL A license. I’m now on my own and use many of the skills and techniques I learned. I’m not a professional yet but I am confident that I will be. So glad I went to C1 Trucking School. They’re not going to hold your hand but if they see you trying and really want it, they will definitely be with you every step of the way. Thanks for everything!

I had a great experience here at c1, they got my cdl very quick and made me understand what I needed to do to become a successful driver. C1 will help you with your air brake test, pre trip, as well as other skills they aren't needed for the state exam but could be actually helpful in the real world
Don't let all the 5 stars fool you. They welcome you with a QR code immediately after passing your state exam to give them a review so of course you have nothing but good things to say at the moment because you just passed. All this school cares about is money literally and that is what they've shown. It can be very unprofessional at times and they were of such with me especially the fact that I took a drug test in February for the school and it wasn't submitted into the clearinghouse until June when I made an uproar about my driving status. All I got was a measly apology about my results slipping through the cracks. Also if you're in the program as a SAP driver or you have any type of background ask plenty and I mean plenty of questions so you're not out of work/ nor haven't even been given a chance to drive yet almost 3 months after obtaining your license. These are supposed to be professionals who we pay to give us knowledge and help lead us in the correct direction for this industry but they showed me their only there to collect your money literally. I honestly wouldn't recommend the school at all unless you actually go in with full knowledge of trucking already. I'm a cash paying student who passed on my first try and still wouldn't recommend. Also might I add that I came everyday and never missed a day and also stayed after. I should've went with my first mind and went elsewhere because it was literally a waste.

So I've been driving with this school for the last month or so, and it has been great, now granted my folks did all the set up and what not, but my 3 instructors I've had so far at this location, Andrea, Mike Hayden, and Larry. Andrea was my first instructor, and she was great. She was my first instructor, she gave me advice and tips on my driving, and complimented me. I had Mike Hayden for 3 lessons, he is amazing, great instructor, very excited and talks to you like you've been his friend for years, in the car he guides me, and tells me when to change lanes, and what to do. Had him for my parallel parking lesson. That was fun!! I had Larry today. He's a good instructor, definitely knows what he's doing/teaching, though what he was telling me was like it was my first lesson, which is alright. But all 3 instructors I've had have been great, highly recommend this driving school, great instructors, great cars, and in a great location!!!

Five of our kids have gone through Safeway. We have had nothing but great experiences with Safeway with all of our kids. The staff is friendly, flexible and have done a great job of teaching our kids how to drive. I highly recommend them!
Hey Josh lol this is Destiny but I just wanted to leave a good review & brag how exceptional this school is. Maddy did a wonderful job teaching the driving education class & Aiden, my instructor, makes me feel more than safe & comfortable while on the road. Josh always has good communication & calls very frequently to schedule lessons for me. The cars are clean & run very well! Everyone is always so nice & Josh stole one of my chicken nuggets yesterday. 😂 Nah I’m playing he asked, but yea definitely worth the $, & if I had children I would feel more than confident putting them through Safeway. 25 more hours to go! & I luckily get to take my licensing test through Safeway as well! Happy to learn how to drive here!
I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Safeway. The instructors are nice, patient, react well under pressure, and are personable! They take the time to get to know you, what you need to work out, and communicate to each other effectively to make sure you learn everything you need before your test. I took both the classes and the lessons through Safeway. The classes went by faster than expected, and they cover everything in your driver's manual in a concise way that doesn't overload you with information. There's a mixture of adults and teens in the classes, but for the most part the kids are respectful and don't goof off too much (guessing because they really want their licenses!). Basically- if you want to learn the correct and SAFE WAY to drive, this is the establishment for you. They want to see you succeed! Thank you Josh, Justin, Betty, Jim, Steve, and everyone that's a part of the Safeway Driving School team. You guys really helped me have a wonderful experience, calm my nerves, and actually enjoy driving! No more scared young lady on the road; Hello confident new driver! :D Again, cannot recommend them enough!

Terry, Sandy, and Dave are all great instructors. They're fun, informative, and most importantly in my case, patient. I'm damn near unteachable but they got me through the class. I'm thankful for all of them and the opportunities they've opened up for me.

My experience with C1 trucking school was fine. The accommodations at holiday inn were very nice. The school was organized well and I believe they were all trying their hardest to teach us and had our best interest in mind. My favorite instructor was named Matt who was out on the range teaching backing up and reversing. I would recommend the school to my friends and will. Sent from my iPhone
I had a good experience with my student coordinator. I received information in a timely manner and I always knew she was a phone call or text away if I had any questions. I also feel like any questions I did have she answered and seemed to care about me making good progress throughout the program. I’d like to thank Driver’s Solutions for helping me obtain this new career path and I wholeheartedly recommend that anyone looking to go into truck driver training use you guys to get there successfully.

My experience there was a good one! I had absolutely no issues with the staff. I do however feel that they school accepts too many students at a time and in result we don’t get as much repetition as we possibly could but the instructors did make the best of the time. A particular instructor Smitty really stood out to me. His way of teaching is amazing! He’s versatile in his way of being able to reach/explain to every different learning style. You have Instructors and then you have Educators and Smitty defines every aspect of that word. Overall i had a great experience during the time i was in training and I’m thankful for the opportunity!!😀
Over all an awesome experience! No time wasted at all! Everything was straight forward and easy. My coordinator was fantastic and did a lot of check in's on me! 10/10 thank you. Note if i could change one thing I'd give people a little more money once they pass the state test, finances are tight right now.

I completed the course in a timely manner that was very convenient to my schedule. my instructor Joe was very patient and the communication between us was very good. I would recommend prevail to anyone that would like to obtain their CDL’s it’s an A1 school and course.
I strongly recommend prevail cdl if your looking for good training with a great instructor actually teach you stuff and be informative prevail is an affortable school honestly just a wonderful school everyone is nice i learn alot from it frfr this is the school to go with!!!

I had a great experience with DriveZone! I especially like that I could pay half at first and wait to pay the other half when it was time to do the driving lessons.
Our daughter struggled with taking her driving test through the BMV. She struggled with some test taking anxiety so we booked a driving session with Drive Zone, specifically with Stephen. He was wonderful! He had a calm presence along with an encouraging disposition which caused our daughter to feel more at ease making her drive lesson an anxiety-free, productive experience. Stephen was just awesome and our daughter is now a much more confident driver and now has her license. Thank you Drive Zone for recommending Stephen. We are forever grateful.
Almost impossible to schedule lessons. <Edit after reply from Drivezone> I am glad I finally received some response from them after posting a public review. When I first reached out to know about the classes, they would respond immediately to emails and messages with information. And once the payment (that had to made upfront for all lessons) was made, I had to literally write multiple times to arrange lessons. I got fed up of finding time for doing this on top of my normal work schedule, I ended up not bothering to finish the package I signed up for. Not giving a one star, as the classes with Rachel were okay.
Edited review. I had initially left a one star review because it seemed like they were going to just take the money and never schedule a driving date. The same day I posted the review, they got the driving date scheduled. This is probably not a coincidence, and it is a shame that consumers have to post a negative review in order to simply get the service they paid for. Now that driving training has started, I can rate the training service itself as good. The trainer not only focuses on what is needed for the test, but also general good safety practices.

If you have an introverted student, I wouldn't recommend this place. After 2 drives, I received a text message stating that they were discontinuing my daughters drives. When I called and asked the reason why, I was told that it was because she didn't talk during the drive so the instructor felt uncomfortable and disrespected. I told him that she was there to gain driving experience, not to talk. This place is very unprofessional!!
Cheaper than most other options and the instructor is amazing. Totally worth it.

I didn’t think I was going to get my license in time and Jenny was able to help me take the steps necessary to be comfortable behind the wheel and get my license. I would recommend this company 10 out of 10 times.
I'm 37 years old! I earned my learner's permit multiple times! Unfortunately after not receiving any help from family or friends I called Dynamic Driver's Ed! What can I say? Dynamic fits the service so well! I gained confidence on the road! My instructor taught me so many rules of the road and wanted me to have my license more than me! I would recommend this program to teens, adults and in between! You WON'T be disappointed! P.S. Did I mention, I got my Driver's License! What are you waiting for? Hurry book your time! She fills up fast!
Jen is a wonderful instructor! At 27 years old, I was starting to feel like I may never get my Drivers license. Jen worked with me to personalize a plan that worked for me and helped me get over the final hurdle and obtain my license! So grateful for her.

She enjoys what she does and it shows. She's fun (and easy) to learn from and her encouragement and points of advice are priceless. The drop off and pick up service is so convenient. She makes the transition from nervous non- driver to confident driver (owning the road) seamless. With each lesson your confidence snowballs! Lovely staff and great quality instruction. My oldest child loved the experience and we will definitely be returning for her siblings!
My experience has been very negative. They have had our child’s name wrong in their system from day 1. Each time we go in, about 4 times, they are unable to find the file because they aren’t capable of updating the information. We have been told conflicting information between the staff, as far as what paperwork we would need and when we would need it, It’s very frustrating. The gentleman who claimed to be the owner, refused to hear our concerns and was very rude and unprofessional, cutting off my wife when she spoke and just plain out being childish. I highly recommend you find a different driving school.

Instructor only periodically released his schedule, and all slots would book up by the time we checked. Instructor also cancelled 2 classes just days before because he was on vacation. Now we're +90 days out and need to pay for an extension to TRY and fit in the remaining classes.
Last week a student decided to make a left turn at the last minute and jumped into front of me with no turn signal. I had to slam on my breaks. I politely reported the incident via there website so they could just remind the student to look and use their signal and safely make a decision to turn. If I was on my motorcycle I would have wrecked. Instead of responding with a, "we'll remind the student" or something of that nature, they decided to go back and forth with me in an email saying they didn't see the incident on their cameras. Why would I waste my time to even send you the details to make this up. They pretty much refused to offer the suggestions to the student and that's disturbing.
My teenager learned a lot from her instructor and the online course. The people were very responsive every time we emailed or asked questions. We had a great experience.
I was hesitant to enroll our 15 yo son after reading some of the reviews but have been so impressed with CIESC and instructor Randy. Completing the courses online was effortless. It's great for busy kids to have the option to complete these online when it works for them. Despite the website saying driver wait times were about 12 weeks out we were assigned an instructor within a week. There is more than enough availability with a variety of hours on weekdays and the weekend. I also love the convenience of them providing a vehicle for lessons and the driver's test along with having your child's school being the meeting point. Randy's calm demeanor and thoughtful advice have been much appreciated. If you're unsure of which service to enroll your child in, look no further because CIESC is the best choice.
After some hiccups and ironing things out, we had the best instructor! Mr Owens really adapted to my daughters busy schedule and assisted in getting her behind the wheel time in quickly! We appreciated him so much!

Great teachers and education courses
The class portion is simply the state required information- so same as anyone. Ms Margaret is a fabulous driving instructor. But the hoops to schedule drives and communication is problematic, at best.
We have 4 kids enrolled. We can not get a drive scheduled or a return call or email. Do not waist your time or money. We are having to wait the amount of days and just go to the dmv to get there license. They should not keep enrolling students if they don’t have the drivers. After $1600 from my family alone this year and then to just have there drives closed and not responding to people is not how u run a business.
I'm a passenger in a semi with my fiancè, we are going down INTERSTATE highway 64 WEST.. and just passed one of your student driver cars with I'm assuming an instructor driving.. and let me tell ya I wouldn't want him teaching me if HE TEXT AND DRIVES!! 😡😠

The man at the desk needs to get his attitude fixed as soon as possible

Their website says they open at one. No one answered the phone till 2 o’clock. The lady that answered the phone was quite rude. Couldn’t give me any information. Couldn’t schedule a drive for my daughter. Had to have a schedule or call me. They have nothing open this week. It’s Monday and couldn’t confirm anything for next week because he had to check with his drivers. The only timeslots he could give me for next week or like at 2 o’clock in the afternoon when my daughters at school she also has a part-time job so it is challenging, but he was very rude and could care less, do yourself a favor before they take your money and you can get a refund somewhere else this place has no customer service qualities whatsoever. I feel they take your money and then put you on the timeline that’s impossible to reach just my opinion.

Do not schedule your appointment with Mr. Brown; he's very rude and emotional. He'll talk to you as if you owe him something. The people at BMV for drivers test is much nornal and won't belittle you for no reason. By the way, you're paying for a 6 hour drive, but each time they only drive with you for 50 minutes, so technically it's 5 hours.
Waste of time and money, worthless instructors, rude. Worst experience for my son. Taught him myself. Ridiculous
THIS PLACE IS A SCAM! I enrolled my daughter here and they charge 30 dollar fees for the most stupid stuff. The office staff is very rude! The only reason I didn’t give one star is because one of the drivers named mark is very nice and patient. All the other drivers not so much.
DONT COME HERE- I was a first time driver and some old man had the audacity to scream at me the whole time and proceeded to tell me I have no common sense. If I asked a question, he would not answer, he would simply start yelling. He was a rude and horrible person. Waste of money and time. I came out as a worse driver than someone who hasn’t driven at all. He was a bully, literally made me cry. Will not be returning here EVER wish I could rate this place -1000000.
The coaches are alright, still have a lot to learn .

Denis and Amy are great people, other then the slight scheduling problem everything went smoothly. Thank you!
My son has has 3 lessons that ended early. Top that off, his lesson on 10/14 the instructor didn’t have enough gas to finish the lesson and wasted time during the lesson to get gas. The same lesson that finished 10 mins early.
Amy and Dennis have been AMAZING!!! My son just finished his driving courses and test. We have loved our experience with Road Star Driving and will definitely recommend to all our friends.
Easy to do online course. Very difficult to schedule driving. Owner unapologetic about issues with getting drives in consistently.
Definitely not worth it! Over priced and not a good experience

The classroom instructor goes very off topic, according to several kids in the class, say they are not learning what they need to. The secretary is EXTREMELY rude in person and over the phone, I had to check her. 10/10 would NOT recommend this “school”.
