Firstly, i would personally recommend this driving school for everyone that needs their drivers license. Miss D takes the time and patience to prepare you for this driving course.
I was nervous about attending the school because of how I thought people would be but I knew I wanted to learn how to drive . My second day at Rules of the Road was amazing because of my teacher and class ! Mrs.D did everything she was supposed to and even went further with experiences of her students . Today was my last day with her before drive time and I didn’t want to leave . She did her absolute best with everyone in the class . She stopped to ask if anyone had questions and more ! The first day attending she specifically said, the class was easy and by the way she would break it down it wasn’t guaranteed we’d have to work too hard . She told the truth . I appreciate the hard work and dedication the team put into helping their students !
This place is brilliant! Adult driving course was reasonably priced and scheduling was a breeze. Non-native English speakers needn't be nervous, everybody working at Rules of the Road is so patient and kind. The instructors treated us, and one another, like family. Learned a lot and gained invaluable confidence behind the wheel. Outstanding service and a wonderful experience!
I want to first give All praises to YAHAWAH Bahasham Yahawashi, This Driving school is absolutely amazing, they are very patient with you, they are most definitely on your side through everything you must have a listening ear with them and pay great attention to everything they are telling and teaching you, as long as you do that you will succeed in everything else. This is a really good driving school. I took the 1 day 6 hour course being that I am 19 and they did a great job going over the material and making sure that we knew the information for the DMV test. Awesome. I was scared about the actual driving portion, but they tell you where to go and help you. And to make you a better driver. Great Service. Highly recommend. I paid a total of $400

a driving school of Baton Rouge is the best in Louisiana!! I highly recommend it. Instructors are very informative and friendly. They have the lowest price and easiest to deal with. Scheduling class and drive times was easy .
I had an excellent time on the road! My instructor, Ms. Debra, was pleasant to be with and she was not overbearing on me or my brother, who also took the course with her. Overall, we made good conversation and we got home safely. Highly recommended!
I took a driving course in another city, but decided to take a one hour course in BR once I relocated. The instructor here is very informative, straightforward and considerate. He taught me everything I should have learned in my eight hour driving class, in one hour and gave helpful memorable explanations along the way. He's been doing this for a while and you can tell he really enjoys it, that's the makings of the best teacher. If you want to learn how to drive and actually understand the road as you go along, this is your driving school. Highly recommended.
I really enjoyed this class. When walking in, I was nervous, not knowing almost anyone. There were a lot of students and I just didn’t know what to expect. The first day, the owner, Stan, made me feel comfortable by breaking down everything - the course, our class instructor, Gary, and how prepared we will be. The class itself was very entertaining. Mr. Gary goes very in depth and really cares about the students. He’s serious while being very funny. I really appreciate the effort he puts forth to allow us to learn better. I have no complaints for this place and would recommend it to anyone.

The teachers and staff here are wonderful. Personally, my teachers in other schools might target a student or group of students. Not here. The teachers are considerate and only want the best for the students. The space here is clean, with a highly sanitized environment that makes you feel comfortable. The group projects make the class immersive and exciting. That’s all I have to say, except that I just really like it. A very well deserved 5 stars.
My instructor Ms Tiffany was so sweet and helpful! I passed the class & I’m headed to take the driving portion of the test soon! She was one of the best teachers and I’m glad I was able to have her teach and educate me about the rules of the road ! 😆

This school is simply amazing. Mario and his staff do an exceptional job of preparing teens for driving. They are kind, professional and their expertise is second to none. Their silly name does them a bit of a disservice because there is nothing silly about this school. They take the education of our kids to heart. Since my son completed their course, I've told everyone I know about Drive Dat Academy ... it's that good.

I enjoyed the entire process of being able to pursue getting a license. In the middle of a pandemic this office managed to get me in a class, get a TIP , and get me on the road driving within 2 months. Not bad with all that is going on. Everyone there is so lovely, professional, and it was so worth my money. This is the place to go, its hands on, they actually care about you as a person, and they are the sweetest! I wish I could rate 10 starts because I would. Mr.Mario, Ms. Vivian, Mr. Mike, and Mr.Kevin all provided joy and knowledge throughout the entire process of me learning to drive and receiving my license. This is an amazing Driving School!!
Mario is very calm and patient, which makes him a great instructor for all age groups. Sharon is very polite and helpful over the phone. No need to look for another driving school whether you are an adult or a teenager, they will steer you to right direction.
They were a real good driving school. My mother wanted me to take the written portion of the test again, and it was pretty informative about some of the basic guidelines for noticing things while you drive. I have T1 diabetes so I had to get clearance from my doctor before I was able to set up driving lessons but that went extremely quickly, the only time it took was waiting for my doctor to sign off on it. There was a bunch of food and drinks during the written session too. The driving lessons themselves were great, I did 2 4-hour sessions on subsequent days. Scheduling the lessons was real easy. Mario was a pretty great teacher he was able to effectively teach me all the things I needed to know and we talked quite a bit about stuff over the 8 hours. My friend also took the lesson with me and since he took the driving test right after me he only charged us for the use of the car once.

I never leave online reviews, but this is by far the most responsive driving school in the area. I was looking for a class to complete my licensing requirements, and Crescent City Driving School was very professional and efficient. The classroom session was easy to sign up for and well done, and the behind-the-wheel instruction was very clear and patient. I had never driven on the interstate before, and they helped me overcome the nerves I had. By the end, I felt confident and ready for my road test. I can't recommend Crescent City Driving School enough.
One of the best driving schools in NOLA hands down! They were extremely communicative with me and by the end of it I walked away feeling like I could get right on the road. My instructors were both very understanding of my driving situation and willing to work with me and II eventually conquered my fear of driving on the interstate because of that! Overall an extremely great school with straightforward policies (no double charging for extra tests like other schools lol) and the best priced, will recommend this school to everybody I know who's looking to get their license.

I really really enjoyed my experience at IDrive Teen Driving Academy. I was little nervous going into the class because this is something new for me that I’ve never done, but it was a great experience. Very welcoming, very friendly people, very informative, lots of good information you take from this school, and the teacher is very very cool. I had lots of fun and really enjoyed class. My daughter recently attended NOLA Driving School and had an excellent experience. The staff was very professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. I would rate them a 10 out of 10.
I have finished my 8 hours behind the wheels training with Ava. She was great. I have learned so much from her. It was my first time to drive in the highway. It was nerve wracking but she was there to help and guide me. Thank you so much!

My driving instructor was Ms. Ava she was very patient and I learned a lot from her. I can say after my lessons with her she made me more confident with driving. However during my last lesson the air condition in the car stopped working for a while and it made it difficult to drive in the heat. Overall my experience was great. Thank you so much Ms. Ava!
I had an amazing experience with Nola driving institute. Initially, I tried to get in a driving school close to home but everything was so complicated! So I went with Nola driving institute and it was so simple to sign up for the class! My driving instructor, Anthony, was super nice and made me feel comfortable to be on the road! I had a great time at this driving school. Ms.D is the best she made sure that we got all the right information. She thoroughly broke down the PowerPoints. She was amazing and the class was sooo easy Ms.D made the class very easy and fun. The other staff are also very welcoming and very nice. I highly recommend this driving school. My daughter attended driving class at the Monterrey Location. Everything went fine until it was time for her driving test to be schedule in order to convert her permit to a license. Contacted Mr. Ron and he was rude and unprofessional. When I told him I was calling to scheduled a driving test he replied they were backed up because so many people had already scheduled. Then I asked how long is the waitlist he said we’ll ma’am to be honest our cars are broke. They stole our catalytic converters and they were suppose to be fixed today but they’re not. So I assume this is why he’s was upset. As he’s trying to conduct business with me he stopped several times to yell at a whining toddler in the back grown. I proceeded to ask him if his school is the only school I can send my child to for the driving test. He raised his voice and begin to speak to me in a rude manner. I politely asked him not to use that tone with me and he yelled and said ma’am “I ain’t hollering at you” he then hung up in my face and wouldn’t answer the phone when I called back. I’m sure he’s frustrated about the theft of his vehicle but sir you still have to maintain your professionalism with your customers. I wouldn’t send my pet over to Rules of the road all because of Mr Ron’s unprofessionalism!

I attended rules of the road 38 hours course , literally the best driving school ms.dee is the best teacher for the driving course! my experience was an 10/10!
I have nothing but great things to say about the staff at rules of the road llc. The instructor of the class was very professional and she wasn’t about to let anyone in the class fail. Class was roughly about 4.5 hours and they went over all test questions and you received a study guide as well as freedom to ask questions. I would 100% recommend this school. We had some good laughs and is well worth the $400.

I am a beneficiary of Mark's Driving Academy. My experience is as follows: as a non-native speaker of English, it is a little difficult to take the theory test in English, but Mr. Mark teacher patiently and carefully helps me with my study. Meanwhile Mrs.Terrie instructor wasn't afraid of difficulty to teach me the driving skills. Through the driving school training, I successfully passed the driving test. For this reason, I strongly recommend beginners to go to Mark's Driving Academy.

I've experienced this driving school and all I have say is by far most learning understanding intelligent staff and environment my instructor..Carla was magnificent giving lesson upon the course fun enjoying throughout the class..she really incredible in teaching other's I recommend going here for license first time😊
I would DEFINITELY recommend this school to anyone in need of their license. The theory aspect of the course was well delivered. For the practical aspect of the course my instructor was extremely patient with me and very relaxed even though I was nervous to start driving. Initially I never felt I could pass my road test and get my license, but my instructor worked with me step by step through my weaknesses and "brought me to the finish line".
I was so very pleased from day one with Ms. Sharon. My daughter absolutely loves her. She has a very gentle, motherly way about her, but won't put up with any lip either! Great lady, great school. One thing I really loved is that she will not take more than 15 or so students per class. She wants to make sure that she is able to relate to them personally. No overcrowding here. Very fairly priced and she goes through everything and meets with the parents on the first day to make sure that you, as a parent know what to expect. Also, my daughter made a 90% on the first day practice written test. She's a great teacher! Very thankful I went with my gut and picked Sharon's above all the busy, busy schools. She is a smaller fish in the driver's ed market, but don't make the mistake of passing her by! Thanks for treating my daughter so well Ms. Sharon! :) Beth Funk

This class was so fun and so easy to learn from. My teacher, Mrs. Patrice Lendo was so encouraging, helpful, extremely entertaining, and so kind. I loved learning from her and I recommend going there!
Unsure this is a legitimate company. After paying $600 and attending a 1 hour class, it's not possible to schedule driving time. No one answers phones at either of their offices. Repeated voicemails are not returned. Selecting the "talk to scheduler" option and it just hangs up on you.
If the classes weren’t 8 hours then I’d give it five stars. Other than long classes, Mrs. Patrice was a good teacher. Added humor and entertainment to her lessons to make them more enjoyable while at the same time making sure we learning what we supposed to.
I loved breaux’s driving school because they really break down the details that needs to be talked about and it helps me understand a-lot of new things. The teachers are very helpful and takes there time to help us understand and need to know about the road.
As a student that was very nervous about driving school Breaux’s Driving School was a very welcoming place. Mrs.Patrice is an amazing teacher and uses many different ways to engage the class.

Don’t waste your time or money here. We chose this school simply due to the convenience of location, however the staff/management is laughable. We scheduled class time and driving lessons only to show up and be told it was cancelled; instructor does not show up at all; we call repeatedly to reschedule but to no success until showing up in person to address the situation as they deny any and all fault; etc. After successfully completing driving course, instructor fails to provide proper certifications to move forward - yet another hurdle. Waited 3 weeks for scheduled driving test, for them to cancel and reschedule upon arrival. Luckily I asked the representative to formally write a letter stating the details because upon showing up to the rescheduled appointment, the gentlemen shared that he was not aware he had to administer a driving test - then I presented the letter written by his colleague. He then provided all documents necessary to retrieve drivers license from the DMV… without taking any test. Is this how folks get their license? They are unorganized, do not respect your time, and take shortcuts due to laziness. This office should be closed.
Mr.Errick is a great teacher , Very patient with his students , and loves to joke around really makes the class interesting.
My issue started with this driving school started in 2015. My fiance (who was my boyfriend at the time) and I decide to use them. They were nice at first but my problems began when I had to remind the driving instructor that she didn't teach me certain things such as turning and parking. She also took me on the west bank bridge to pick up her son and I have never driven on a bridge before. She also had me drive on the Chalmette bridge in the pouring rain. Remind you she never taught me how to drive on the bridge. The driving instructor was partial to men because she would the men slide with doing things wrong in driving practice but criticize the women. Sadly to say I did not pass the last drive so I tried again in 2017 and 2018 which they messed up and did not inform the driving instructor that it was my last drive and he did not grade my drive. He told them of the situation and the owner said she will contact me about the issue but never did so I called and didn't get an answer until a week later. She started that I didn't pass but how do they that if I was never scored. She would answer me and tell me I could pick up my permit but that became an issue when I tried to pick it and she was never there for me to receive it. Today, was the last straw! I went to pick my results and they said they only have the copy of the results and not the original. I talked to another driving school that has an excellent reputation and told me they should still have it. So I have wasted over $400 and my time. Please do not use this driving school.

It is an excellent place to be taught to drive, very instructive and patient teacher.
Bass Driving School is first class. The state mandatory parent-orientation class is very informative. The classroom instruction is intensive as it should be! My fifteen year-old daughter learned so much and continues to discuss what she learned at Bass. There are no shortcuts at this school. If you're looking for a quick fix to get your driver's license, this is not the place for you. Dr. Bass is very professional and is passionate about educating the community regarding safe driving. Her staff members are well vetted, trained and skilled educators. You will not regret your investment.
It’s a great environment for making friends and learning about driver skills and safety. Mrs. Debbie was a fantastic teacher and Dr. Bass made sure we had snacks everyday.

After being too scared of learning to drive for decades, and not needing to while living in London and New York City, I finally took the plunge and passed on the first try! My whole experience at Victor Manning was perfect. The reception staff was friendly and informative and got me fast appointments for each step of the process. Daphne gave the theory lecture. She taught the whole driving manual in six hours, after which I found it easy to answer the necessary questions. She is wonderful at imparting a lot of information succinctly and even with some humor to help the stress. Manuel was my driving instructor. He is a fantastic instructor, who was able to teach me well while also alleviating my intense fear of driving. He is very knowledgable, kind and patient. Within two hours he had me relatively comfortable driving safely in traffic, on the interstate and over the Mississippi River, all of which had been intensely nervous about. I so appreciate his competence, warmth and humor helping me through a process I found quite challenging.
I had a magnificent experience at Victor Manning Driving School. Staff were very friendly, courteous and accommodating. My instructor Mr. Darrel did an amazing job teaching me. He is very patient, kind and very fun. Amazing teacher. Thank you.

I have social anxiety I was very much at ease the entire time and I feel lucky enough to have had such a wonderful instructor. At first I wasn’t too confident in myself, but as minutes passed, I became comfortable with the vehicle. I learned a lot more than I expected and that’s because he explained everything thoroughly. He even advised me routes to take in the future incase of a detour or some emergency. Also, I felt as if I was on my very own self-driven tour and he was my personal tour guide! Mr. Darrel was great and I wish everyone could have a chance with him. :)
This place is horrible. The only thing that was really up to expectation was the class room taught by Mr.Freddy. I payed $500 dollars at this place and the driving instructor named Logan was horrible. The guy only took me on a drive for 1 hour when it was supposed to be 2 and then I tried rescheduling and I had to wait 1 more month just to get another hour in. Then I came back to take my driving test the lady with the mohawk was so rude and unfriendly she needs to be fired. This place is very ghetto and I don't recommend it if you can avoid it .Do it for your own good. Thank You
Mrs. Thompson was amazing! Not only was she an excellent teacher in the classroom but also on the road. She has a great personality and I would definitely recommend her to everyone. Mr. Austin was also wonderful. He had a great personality as well and definitely worth having as road test instructor! Thank y'all for properly teaching me.

I believe that the staff at A Freeman Driving school are incredibly amazing people who care about their students as much as they do their own children. They are heaven sent. Robbi helped me learn more about the road and motivated me to be as good and amazing as her.
I highly recommend this driving school very good staff and a lot of good things they taught that I didn’t know and the 2 driving instructors that drove with me mrs trenita and mrs Robby taught me a lot and were really good instructors and my classroom teacher mrs synthia was a very good classroom teacher and had a very good way of teaching the class

Best decision I ever made!!! As a 34 years old and had never been driving before, this school made it so easy for me. Flexible schedule, and caring instructors, especially, Ms. Marcie, the owner. She encouraged me and help me with my driving confidence! I got my first license on my first try!!! and only took me a couple months! it could be faster if I did not have to work around my work schedule! All and all, I would recommend this drive school to anyone!
Outstanding company that cares about making safe drivers! The teaching is thorough and great and the availability of driving sessions and instructors is outstanding and way better than competing schools. We are thankful for Mom’s!

I took my driving licence from this school. Though it charged 55 dollar more than some other options, I can say confidently that it was worth it. Especially the instructor Mr. Terry Bell, a very kind fatherly figure, will teach you by giving his best. Though only the practice lasted for 8 hours, I feel like I learnt a lot from him. Only problem is the distance. It was very far from where I lived. But if you have friend to give you a ride, then it is not a problem at all.
I see this place has plenty of good reviews but this was not my experience. I called this past Friday at 4:45 p.m. and whoever answered that phone should definitely not answer it again. I called to find out exactly how much they teach when teaching people to drive. I explain to the lady that I have two sons, age 18 and 19 and that they've never been behind the wheel. For some reason she got angry and told me they don't teach adults. She basically told me that adults do not receive driver's education and that the DMV knows this. She kept yelling I have to teach my sons to drive before I bring them there. Now I may not be the smartest man in the world but something about her attitude made me feel like she had to be ignorant. For one, you don't talk to somebody who's about to pay you $1,000 that way. For two, you mean to tell me there's no where an 18-year-old can go to learn to drive? I called Stop and Go this morning and they said the lady was completely wrong and they don't know where she got this information from and that my sons just needed to go to an adult driver's education program. The craziest part about is that when I'm looking at this website it clearly makes it seem like they do train adults to drive. Whoever answered that phone at 4:45 p.m. Friday evening, needs to be trained on what the program is actually about. I don't know where we are going to go but it definitely won't be here

The people here are really amazing !! They were quick, very efficient, caring, and funny! Lol . It was always a pleasure to see Mrs. Pat, her son, and Mr. Shane . I drove with Mrs. Pat the entire time and she was very gentle, not pushy and made me very comfortable. I’m going to have to go to Maurice for her one day 😂 (inside joke, she knows !)
I earned my license here sometime late December. Today I was in the middle lane on i-10 west and I noticed that the 18-wheeler on my right was riding the car in front's tail. I figured the giant truck was gonna move to my lane without looking, so I decided to back off to give room. No more than a second after I was moved that truck veered into my lane. You'll learn great techniques that a lot of drivers I know do not utilize in their driving. Great place to learn.
Driving Force Academy went above and beyond to accommodate our very nervous, inexperienced driver who needed special care, additional patience, and the right instructor. 5 stars, highly recommend!!
I would recommend you chose this driving academy if you need your license or sending your kids to get their license. They have very amazing staff and and they are great instructors on road safety and defensive driving. You can really learn from their teaching and driving practice they give you. If I had to rate it on a scale 1-10 it would be a 10 on the service, thank you for class.

Mr. Kenneth is wonderful, during lessons in the classroom, showing us in a very easy format with videos, drawings, PowerPoint presentation and gave digital material to take home. During lessons behind the wheel he was always very punctual instructor highlighting the most important aspects. He is a formal and serious in his work. Although English is my second language, Mr. Kenneth speaks in a simple and easy way to learn, it was a very satisfying experience. _______________________________ Mr. Kenneth es maravilloso, durante las clases en el aula, el enseñó en un formato muy facil, con videos, dibujos, presentación en Power Point y dió material digital para llevar a casa. I love how they took the time to actually teach and guide my daughter with the class, instead of just taking a couple minutes each session and just claiming she knows how to drive.
My son was traumatized by his experience at this driving school. I wish I had read the comments before I scheduled my son’s private driving lesson. My son has his permit, so I inquired about hourly private driving lessons. First, in the beginning, it was very difficult to get him scheduled because I had to wait days on someone to text the availability, and when I told them what days I preferred they didn’t schedule me the first time so I had to wait another week to go through the whole process again of scheduling. When we arrived for our 9:30am appointment, the instructor did not show up until 9:40am, did not address us or anything, as she walked outside in her slippers(flip flops). I gave her the benefit of the doubt that she was running late and would change her shoes which she didn’t. After having to walk to the vehicle to find her after the office manager directed us to her, she seemed annoyed that we were there and wasn’t friendly and provided me no info on what her gameplan was and directed my so. To the passenger seat. I asked her what was her plan today and she said she would be doing most of the driving, but I told her my purpose was for my son to receive one hour of driving practice. Needless to say, they left around 9:50am and returned around 10:25am. This was less than an hour of service. My son was visibly upset about how he was treated while practicing which he emphasized she was impatient and just mean. The office manager assured me he would be re-assigned to a more patient, gentle instructor but I have not received a call yet to check on my son nor to reschedule him. On top of that, this driver was allowed to continue teaching the students how to drive with slippers( flip flops) on. What kind of example is that at a “driving school” I have given the leadership team enough time to follow up regarding this matter.
They are very good instructors and I learned a lot about traffic laws and they taught me how to drive responsibly.

I did not except for this driving school to be 3MONTHS for me to get a license… So unprofessional.. Me & my cousin went to 2 different schools at the same time and he completed his school time in 1 MONTH! i’m highly upset if i can get my money back i will !!! Definitely do not recommend.
Wish I can give zero star. I did everything right and they failed me anyway. I do not recommend this school at all. Money hungry company. They only after your money. They don’t help you at all. and good luck trying to get a refund for your wasted hours. They refused to give you a refund and I know I was played because they didn’t tell me why I failed my test. Driving school done efficiently. This school works with your schedule and gets you in amd out. Mr. Piper was a phenomenal instructor who made me aware of all the little things that make a big impact on road with awareness and control. His drive with grace and with safe pace philosophy will be with me for a lifetime. Cost was a little high but you can use their vehicles so it wayy worth it.
Very late review. My instructor, a very old grumpy man which that I learned after is the owner, was very rude, had zero patience, yelling at all times and at some point he hit my arm aggressively. I must say that I wasn’t bad at all, maybe a little nervous because it was my first time driving in my entire life and New Orleans drivers can be very wild. I got 8 hours behind the wheel divided in 4 days, 2 hours each one. My last day his son picked me up and honestly, what a difference, I felt safe, confident, asked everything I couldn’t with the other man and he was very professional and nice. I passed the final test and got my driver’s license. But I won’t recommend this place to anyone new to driving, unless they make sure their instructors are qualified to treat every kind of people.

It's okay
Just got off the phone, and the lady was very rude and acted like she didn’t even want to be there. She answered my questions, but when I thanked her for her time she was still being rude. $725 for that kind of attitude? I don’t even want to know what the CLASSES are like.

Update: My teen son just got his driver license today. It was a very smooth process and we are very happy to see our son road awareness and responsible driving. Highly recommend this driving academy. My 16 year old just finished his clases today. He started with no driving knowledge and became a very confident and responsible driver. Absolutely satisfied with this school.

Horrible. Drivers Ed portion was ok but when we tried to call to schedule the driving part to get the actual license months later the instructor never returned one phone call after 4 calls and voicemails over a week period. Also sent two text which were read but never responded. Ended up having to go to Victor Manning to do the driving part which made our frustration even worse
Been waiting since July to have the 8 hours of in-car training scheduled and it’s almost Xmas now. Can’t get the learners permit for my kid without it. I would not recommend this company as they do not deliver the service you pay for.

Paid and completed classroom portion , never recieved certificate of completion before they abruptly closed . Never refunded any of their students either upon their closure .
Do NOT go here!!! The woman driver, Renee, who worked with my daughter, appeared more nervous than my daughter. She appeared incompetent to us. She kept riding the break and giving my daughter mixed signals about what to do while driving, such as not stopping quick enough for stop signs then telling her she was slowing down too far back for stop signs. This just confused her more!! She gave my husband and I incorrect information about how our child was driving and did NOTHING to help her learn to drive!! We have spent more time UNDOING the damage done. We just found out a friend of my daughter had the SAME experience. I have 2 more children and they will be going somewhere else and we will be warning EVERYONE we know about this terrible experience!
