He explains everything properly, he's so calm, never shouts or makes you feel bad. He is always on time and never cancels appointments like other instructors. He's a great person overall. After 2 lessons with him I was able to pass my driver's test. He was really good at answering whatever questions I had and helped me through my driving anxiety. During the lessons he calmly explained the things that I was doing wrong and needed to improve on without making me feel stupid, which is a lot better than other instructors that I've had in the past.

Highly recommended driving school! I passed my driving skill exam in first attempt because of Instructor Ilango. He is very professional and knowledgeable. His instructions are very detailed and he makes sure you apply them while driving. He is very patience & detailed in answering questions, made me confident enough to attempt the driving exam. He is flexible enough to schedule my classes based on the timings worked for both of us and picked up/dropped me in from/to apartments. I took 16 hours package to have enough driving practice before exam, since i am new to the country and do not have friends/relatives car to practice. Price is reasonable and lesser compared to other driving schools.

Illango was a great driving instructor for my teen. He was incredibly patient and calm, especially since my child started out a bit nervous behind the wheel. He had a way of creating a comfortable learning environment, which really helped build my teen's confidence. He didn't just teach the basics for the test; he also prepared my teen for unexpected situations that happen on the road, which was a huge relief for me as a parent. This was our first time having the privilege of working with Premier Driving Academy and we would recommend them 100%! We're not looking forward to our youngest driving, but we're glad he can learn from these instructors in a couple years. Everything was super easy to register, schedule, reschedule (they know how teen schedules are) and the feedback was really helpful. We loved Dan Bracker and even our neighbors who saw him come and pick up our student driver, commented on how impressed they were. Our student passed the driving test on the first try and had a good score. I can only say good things about our experience.

I worked with Todd over the course of 6 sessions. He’s a very kind and patient man. Not only did he help me build my confidence on the road, but overall gave me advice on on different scenarios that may occur on the road and how to work through them. Todd had no judgements on me being a 24 year old still learning to drive and because of him I successfully passed my driving test with a score of 90! I couldn’t recommend premier driving academy more. Thank you so much!

My 17-year-old daughter had some very CLOSE CALLS, driving too confidently for her skill level and limited days of driving experience. I agreed to allow her to drive IF SHE PAID for her own indivdual, private lessons with a professional driver's training course. This course is not cheap - took her 2 full months of riding her bike to her part time job after school and on weekends to earn enough to pay for it! BUT, it's worth every dollar she has invested in it because today - her first day of her senior year of high school - was her first time driving to school again, due to her dedication to work hard, saving her money, and thanks to Gene Harmon, her patient driving instructor, at Premier Driving Academy in Springfield, Missouri.The fact that she had to pay for the course made her appreciate every lesson! This company teaches students in an equipped car that helped put my mind at ease; because I knew that if my daughter were to make a poor decision during her driving lesson Gene would take over the driving in that moment. Gene has 30+ years experience in law enforcement and driving instruction/testing, therefore, I knew my daughter was in good hands and she would take him much more seriously than she did me (like most teens with their parents, she gave me a little attitude when I would correct her driving style). Plus, I found out that our insurance now gives us a discount because she has completed the course, which means the course will probably pay for itself within a year or so!! I highly recommend this course, and Gene Harmon as an instructor, if you are looking to improve the important LIFELONG driving skills of those you hope to keep safe on dangerous streets, intersections and highways!

A very positive experience all things told. I came in as a brand new driver (over 25, so not a teenage one, just someone that kept putting things off!), and using only the class time offered was able to successfully learn to drive within 6 lessons, with the 6th one also being used for the driver test. I passed handily on my first try. They also allow you to use the car you took their classes with on the test. I would definitely recommend this for anyone, and don't be concerned about being too old. The scheduling they offer is flexible too.

Very helpful company especially Gary he helped me pass my drivers test. I use to be kind of nervous to drive on the road but after driving lessons with Gary I had more confidence in my ability to drive. My daughter passed her exam with 90% after 4 lessons with SaveDrivers. I highly recommend Coach Williams & his team if you are looking for drivers education & driving lessons. He & his team did an exceptional job teaching my daughter the rules of the road & how to properly operate a vehicle. One thing that really stood out to me was the book references when correcting her & the speed limit advice to stay between 5-10 miles below the limit and not at the limit. It's so important to instill these habits at an early age. I was so worried about the thought of my child being on the road with others who do not share the same sentiments. We used Coach Matthews Driving School to assist in driving instruction for our youngest son. Having taught 3 of his siblings on our own, we identified that this one was going to be a little tougher and wanted some reinforcement. Our experience was incredible, the staff was so awesome to work with, and we couldn't have been more pleased! We are confident our son is "road-ready" and he passed on the first attempt! Before I took lessons, I had very little experience driving in parking lots. I was able to pass the test after taking 4 classes with save drivers. Some instructors prefer to practice more in forest park rather than actual traffic but I thought driving in traffic helped me a lot more. My overall experience was great!

I loved Coach Williams! She was so incredibly patient but she had the tough love as well which was a great balance. My daughter did 3 lessons, and I could not be more happy with the results. She passed her driving exam on her first try. I feel much more confident in her driving knowing she learned from a professional. Chris was great. He was easy to work with, answered any questions, and worked with our crazy schedule. I also found it very affordable especially for the level of lessons and the amount of time he spent each lesson. Will be using his service again in about a year for my younger daughter, and would highly recommend him for anyone wanting help with teaching your child to drive or just wanting to get them ready for their driving exam.

I'm a Belizean reporter who moved to the U.S. recently hoping to be able to continue my journalism career stateside. That goal, however, required a license. As do most jobs in this country. I Had three lessons with Chris leading up to my driving test. He is patient, knowledgeable and equipped with a few little tricks to get you comfortable on the road faster. My favorite is the one for parallel parking. After those three lessons and some test day review I managed a 94 on a driver's test that I was quite nervous about taking. Today I'm a licensed driver which is such a relief for my professional goals.

Jim Pendergrass did an amazing job with my daughter preparing her for her driving test and being a safe, responsible driver. When it came time for my daughter to take the behind the wheel test for her drivers license, she was not nervous and she passed on the first attempt with a 92% score. Sorry, I don’t normally give bad reviews but I thought this may help someone trying to make this decision. It was most definitely a waste of money doing this for our son! I admit, we needed help teaching him and thought this was a reasonable way to go. But unfortunately he doesn’t drive any better after the class than he did before it. He was never took out in traffic, and not out of our small community. We had high hopes since our son is headed to college, but he will be going without a license, and with no knowledge of how to drive; especially during a normal busy time.

I would recommend Jim Pendergrass for anyone else who is learning to drive and for someone who is not comfortable with driving. He is very knowledgeable and patient. He knew me from driving my dads golf cart around lol. He will teach you everything there is to know about driving and what is expected for the driving tests! I would recommend taking your driving tests in nixa because he knows the routes.

My instructor, Coach Tim, prepared me very well to take my driving exam and helped me become a more safe and confident driver, enough to help me pass my driving exam. Before I took lessons, I was a very nervous, adult driver, but now I feel less anxious and more confident, thanks to Coach Harder! The money spent is well worth it!

Our 17 year old took the Behind The Wheel Reminder course 3 days before her driving test at the Ballwin location. It was an excellent way to reinforce the skills she'd been sporadically practicing for a year. The instructor had helpful mnemonic devices, gave positive reinforcement, and had a reassuring temperament. Driving the neighborhood where the actual test was to take place did so much to temper her anxiety. She passed the first attempt. Highly recommend!

Horrible experience - DO NOT RECOMMEND!! Pros: Easy to book. Fair pricing. Initial customer service was friendly and helpful. Website was informative and clear. Cons: COACHING - the whole reason a person books this experience for their teenager. Reassured my nervous teenager that this would be a great learning experience because she was nervous. Up to this point she had only driven very little around our neighborhood. Older guy showed up which I thought would lend itself to a “grandfatherly” coaching session - wow was I so wrong. The gentlemen hops out introduces himself and then launches into a weird series of driving facts and questions. I could see the look of confusion and terror on my daughter‘s face. I almost cancelled the appointment then and there because he just came off hurried and weird. He didn’t warm up with getting to know her or me. But I told myself it would still be good and tried to keep a smile on my face and reassure my daughter that this would be a good experience for her. We desperately needed the coaching and help. Several times I reiterated TO HIM that my teenager had NEVER driven on the highway and had only a very little experience driving. This is why we set this coaching session up!! Needless to say when the man came back, my daughter told me the very first place he took her was to the highway. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!? he terrified her she said. She cried three times, but was trying to hold it together and not look afraid. She cried almost all the way home. She never wanted to get behind the wheel of a car again. He was a horrible teacher I was also told by her, which is just so perplexing that he would do this, that he questioned her twice about how I, her dad, intimidated her. I cannot adequately type out how angry this made me and infuriated my daughter. My parenting style and wonderful relationship with my daughter has no business with a man we just met and is supposed to be teaching my daughter how to drive. This experience set my daughters driving confidence back for several months. We couldn’t even get her behind a wheel for months. It’s 2025 and this happened in the summer of 2024. It’s taken this long to get her comfortable driving again. DO NOT USE!!! Coach was late (not a huge deal but became more irritating after this whole experience) We should have gotten our money back from this experience but I didn’t even want to talk to this company again. The only reason I’m posting is hopefully to help steer someone away from this type of experience and company.

My daughter had a fantastic experience learning to drive with Mike from Excel. Mike’s relaxed demeanor made my daughter feel very comfortable behind the wheel. Mike not only covered the basics of driving, but took her into challenging situations like driving downtown and through construction on the highway. When my daughter made mistakes, Mike calmly encouraged her to repeat the scenario until she got it right. Mike is exceptionally personable and always showed up right on time for the lesson. We plan to use him again when our next daughter is ready to drive.

Excellent instruction. We love how Mike has a variety of lessons to learn about driving in areas and situations. Both of our children gain a tremendous amount of knowledge, skills, and confidence! Our children were well prepared for the driving test.

I couldn't say more great things about Excel Driving School. It made all the difference for our daughter from being a timid, apprehensive driver, into a confident and capable driver who aced her driving test! This is such an important life skill to have - life or death depends on good driving skills. And Excel goes beyond driving skills and integrates personal safety and awareness into the lessons. Our daughter learned far more from the driving instructor than we would have ever known to tell her. We will use them again for our future drivers in the family!

They take forever to get you tasted out when you are done putting in your hours, 3 months now over 5 test canceled and only one was the students fault. Cancel test dates are way to common at this place, and the worst part about it is they don't care how long it takes you..... you could be earning money if you go somewhere else... Just trying to save you from making a bad mistake. The worst experience ever...

Working with Jory, Steve and Tim was amazing. Jory helped me out when I became sick and needed to reschedule my start date. Steve and Tim at the yard helped me once I got started to catch up and exceed even my own expectations. I can not begin to express the amount of paitence and professionalism that these individuals bring to the table to ensure not only me, but everyone that takes their course succeeds in passing and obtaining their CDL. I would recommend them 100 times over.

Upon walking in on day one I had never touched a manual vehicle of any kind. With the help of the instructors who have years of experience behind them I learned how to drive a 10 speed safely by the time I walked out and got my cdl. I purchased the 5 lesson package for my Grandson. After just 3 lessons I am proud to say my Grandson received his license on the first try. His instructor Link is awesome. He is both patient and kind. He picked him up at the house had a 2 hour lesson and brought him back to the house in the Coastline car. He spoke to me personally and then followed up with an email on what they did in the lesson and what my Grandson needed to work on. Coastline Academy gave me piece of mind that my Grandson was going to be safe on the road when I am not with him. This team was great in helping my son learn to drive. They picked him up from the house and dropped him back off which was so convenient for me. They covered all the instruments on the vehicle (which I hadn't thought of showing him. other than the basics) and had him drive in the areas he would be driving once he got his license. Like to and from school etc. He aced his test and has been driving now for the past year and a half with no incidents. The only thing I didn't like was they didn't give us a contact number of the instructor or a number to call at all. It made me little apprehensive at first. It all worked out in the end. I would and have recommend them to other parents that don't have the time or patients to teach their child.

I usually don’t leave reviews but just wanna let others know so they don’t make a same mistake I did and choose this school. First week of school with Kelly was a disaster trying to learn on online class with all them noises, Kelly would be on the phone talking loud and it was hard listening to instructor all the way from Chicago in laptop ( which I was expecting to have a teacher in the class ) she would talk to you nice and all that before joining the 160 and ones you join she will talk and treat you like a kid!! Then ones you get to the yard you will have to deal with unorganized training… sometimes they will have up to 8 students with one instructor and one truck so you will get lucky if you be able to do One maneuver that day, they had a instructor very unprofessional name TJ that I had to put a request to change my instructor cause he didn’t know how to talk to people at all. If I wanna write more I will have to write a book about it just DONT DO IT!!! Many companies like Werner would not hire you cause they don’t meet their standard requirement Training. ( Andy was a good instructor and helped me a lot same as James)

Jay was very helpful during my first appointment. He explained the process of getting my cdl and what moves can be made after getting my cdl. He made it very clear that it’s all about what you make it ! Was very motivational and understanding at the same time.

I wanted to share how great the school was. Mr. Anderson took my son out who is 30 but has autism and was patience and kind and above all else he taught my son how to drive. The school lets the student take the test in the car they worked with and my son passed. It was a mile stone for him and I can not speak highly enough of this school and the instructor. If you have a child on the spectrum or you are on the spectrum I very very highly recommend this business. I will be forever thankful to them and Mr Anderson.

READ *ALL* REVIEWS! One of the Missouri driving school vehicles was riding my bumper today and I couldn’t see his headlights for at least 2 miles at 75 miles an hour. This was on Highway 44 heading west around the Webster Groves area. They were far too close and it was extremely unsafe. It was a white hatchback with blue writing that said Missouri driving school. I hardly think they are capable of providing decent and safe driver training with the insane way they were driving

Missouri Driving School is an amazing resource. Bill especially was a great instructor. The owner is the one who answers the phone, he makes scheduling easy and non-stressful. While doing lessons, Bill was always patient with me and willing to go my speed, but he still pushed me when I needed it. He prepared me very well for my driving test. Loved taking lessons from here!! Loved the instructor and the tips that she gave. Took me to the DMV and went through the entire test from beginning to end. Knew everything they would potentially ask. Then had me drive in the area the test would be given, pointing out any possible things that could trip you up. Also taught parallel parking EXTREMELY well. After 5 hours of lessons, I easily passed my drivers test. Very professional and easy to work with. I anticipate my siblings taking from here.

If you take the lessons seriously and get to know the instructor, you will easily, pass your drivers test, and more likely than not get in the A range, this place lives up to it's name! I got a 100%! I CAN NOT EXPLAIN THIS ENOUGH, this instructor knows her stuff, she knows the routes the testers will take you on, you will do exemplary on the test if you go to this instructor.

A+ Driving School lives up to its name. Both of our sons worked with the instructor prior to taking their driving test. She was very thorough and fully prepared them for the exam. Both received a A+ (95% and 100%).

My family never had a car and I was very scared of driving when I went to James Smith Driving school. Surprisingly, I passed my driving test in the first attempt. I thank my instructor Reggie King. He is an excellent instructor. I would recommend choosing a newer model of car. Highly recommend this driving school.

Best driving school in KC 💯. I have been to other driving schools, never saw any other instructor actually working that hard on their students so that they can not only pass their test but also become a good driver. All good experiences with CDL Pros, they tought me the skills I needed to get my CDL, and I did get my CDL.

I had such a hard time finding a teacher who made me feel like a more confident driver. Within 3 lessons I’ve learned the basics and gone from someone who was very anxious and scared to drive to being finally being comfortable and it was all because of my awesome instructor Jade. She was very kind and made the whole process a lot easier and I recommend this program for beginning drivers. Super grateful to finally have my license. Thanks Jade!!

Just had a simple phone call that was rude and unprofessional before hanging up in my face.

Horrible phone edicute, does not show up on time and at least 15 minutes late, brings your kid back early, does not give receipts due to only taking cash, yells at the students when doing anything he does not like, and is extremely unprofessional. I would not use, there is a much better program with police that only costs 400 and is so much better. Stay away from this guy

Emmit, we did it!! He is the best of the best. Never thought I would get a help from someone. You gotta listen if you are with Emmit while you are driving. You have to follow what he says. I recommend Emmit and his driving center. Don't worry about couple of hundred bucks when you spend in this driving center. You have to be confident in yourself. Nothing comes in an easy way. He speaks a lot which makes a lot of distractions but I think he is trying to teach you in the same way. If you don't honk on other drivers mistake he will yell at you 😂. Lol!! He is an awesome instructor. I learned, got confidence, and I am happy as well as I got my license within short time with good skills and discipline. Try to be nice him because he is an Old person. Respect him, his time and the way he teach you. At the end of the day, you have to be yourself. I am 100% satisfied with his services.

Emmit, you were simply awesome and the best teacher one could ask for. You've been very patient and sweet throughout the learning process. Thank you so much Emmit for the beautiful teaching. I would really recommend Archway Driving School for anyone looking for a driving school. :)

I wish I had an option to give zero reviews or negative. I have been coordinating with one of the guys from Archway for my first driving class. I was waiting from 10:30 in front of galleria mall. Scheduled to meet @11:40. He called and told that he will be late and will meet @ 11:50. I wait again and called him back 3 times around 11:52. He did not answer once. He calls me back @ 12:30 and says that I have been waiting here for 20 mins. I was standing in front of the mall during this entire time. He yells @ me and says get lost. They are terrible, disrespectful and waste your time to give one slot. I don’t suggest this place.
