Wonderful people! Great job teaching my daughter! Took the time to teach her everything needed to pass her test. Will have my son do the same course.
Not only do I feel safe with my child after taking this class, I can see the confidence in him that has grown for his lesson. The teachers were amazing!
Happy with the instructors ability to deal with teaching my son. Then able to take him on the road and prepare him for his test. Road Ready does what they are known for to do. They get your kids prepared to drive safely and efficiently.
This is an excellent program! Everyone from the instructors to the office staff are helpful, encouraging & pleasant to deal with! Will definitely use them again! Thank you for everything you do!!!
All the instructors were great! Mrs. Williams did an amazing job with our son, Sam.

I came, I drove, I conquered. All praises to Dennis Delong and his driving wisdom 🙏
Great teacher and great driver instructor
I took Delong’s driving course via zoom in the summer and it was a great experience! I learned a lot and now feel more comfortable on the road!
Mr. Delong and his daughter made driving school very fun and informative! The funny videos once in awhile made it very interesting and something i could laugh at. I learned a lot of really good information. Definitely recommend Delongs Driving School!
UPDATED REVIEW: After learning of our unsatisfactory experience and that some comments came off as offensive, Mr. DeLong took the time to follow up with us, offer additional drive time, and apologize. We appreciate his efforts to make things right. This driving school's strengths: In my son's words, "the driving instructors were nice and helpful and the Zoom meetings weren't terrible." His first drive was a good experience; he came home feeling confident and enthusiastic. My request to reschedule one of our drives was met promptly. Areas to improve: Scheduling driving time requires attendance at a Sunday afternoon meeting; this could be streamlined. Parents aren't given a list of driving skills students should already have mastered by the time they drive with instructors; this would have been helpful guidance. Figuring out where to meet with driving instructors took some doing.

Buckle in, cuz this isn't a review that can be done in just a few words. Trucking has been my life's goal my whole life. I had signed up with Swift initially, but things happened to make that not a thing. I called Roadmasters, and the woman that I talked to (Amy) was amazing and made me feel like a friend while she was being very thorough and realistic in answering all my questions. She's gone above and beyond for me. Now for the instructors. We have Headmaster Aaron, who is amazing at running the school and comes out to the pad when students need extra help. Then we have Tom. He's a guy that you have to pay close attention to his facial expressions and the tone in his voice to hear his soft spot when students learn what he just taught them, or when they pass their test and get their CDL. I call him coach, cuz he will get on u and have u repeat steps over and over till u get it. But he doesn't give up. Then we have Buzz. That man will put a smile on your face and it doesn't matter what mood you are in, you're gonna have a good day. His energy is the kind that is infectious. Craig is a newer instructor so I haven't really had much interaction with him, but for the time I did, I've noticed that he is exceptionally detail- oriented and will point out the littlest things to learn from. Next is Kim, who is also a certified tester. She is very thorough and efficient, calm and patient. Sweet as pie with some thick skin. She teaches you things out on the road as a trucker that you'd never think twice about in your 4-wheeler. Steve, who is my tester. I haven't trained at all under him since he is the one testing me in two days. But the other students that have trained with him have nothing bad to say. He's very by-the-book and does not allow room for error. He pushes for perfection at all times. Last but not least by any means is our Lead instructor, Denny. That man would rather hang up his keys than to give up on anyone struggling. He's intelligent, calm, and has a way of teaching that just makes it click. You can't fail with him, and he's a face and voice that I will carry til my last drive. To say I've grown attached to these instructors and to the school is an understatement. School is over before you know it, in the blink of an eye, so enjoy it like your senior year in high school. There isn't a single person out there teaching you that doesn't have years of experience driving on 18 wheels themselves. Many schools have teachers and instructors that have never had a CDL from my understanding, so how could they practice what they preach or teach you things they've never learned? I can't praise this school enough, and if I got paid to be there I'd never leave.
I want to share my experience with Roadmaster's, Omaha, NE. I first want to say that it is an outstanding school, The instructors are top notch and truly care about their students success. Denny stands out to me, he deeply cares about the students and wants to see them succeed and will do whatever it takes to make that happens. Aaron the school manager is another example of someone who is doing it right and is truly dedicated to each and every student. I wish I could say something about all the instructors but space is limited. If your are even remotely thinking about a career in truck driving, give them a call.
In fact, Roadmaster School is one of the best trucks driving schools in America. I learned a lot during my time with them and gained a lot of experience. I recommend that anyone who wants to learn how to drive a tractor go to Roadmaster.
Roadmaster Drivers School is a great school for students. If you’re looking to get your CDL, this is the place. Thanks
Only thing I would say is it would be nice if they encourage people too get thier Class A permit before coming here due too 1/5 people going threw the program too long due too not having it outside of that this program is highly recommended all the maneuvers and practices are going too be useful in actual truck driving.
5. Cornhusker Driving School

Had the worst experience with Cornhusker Driving School. The classroom portion was pretty good. But, unlucky for my daughter, she was paired up with Tony as a driving instructor. He was rude, condescending, and just down right awful to her. I spoke to him and he sure had all the right things to say. Before reaching out, I asked for some advice on a CLOSED group for Moms about this situation on how to handle it and if anyone had any experience. I specifically asked NOT to name people by name out of respect. Someone that works there started a group chat between instructors, took a screenshot and decided to figure out who my daughter had as instructor. Tony was offended I reached out to other moms for advice and refused to drive with my daughter. Guess he didn’t like that moms talk to other moms. Then I get a call that no other instructors are available (sure). Full refund - yes. But check out these reviews from the web about Tony. He is the ONLY reason they get bad reviews. Glad I trusted my mama instinct. If you go to them for Driver’s Ed - beware. Wonder how many people never said anything?
For $500, I could have hired a private driver to teach my kid how to drive and the rules of the road better than this place. They passed our kids who both ran red lights and stop signs during the test and who could not properly park a car during the test either. What a joke.
This driving school experience is pretty good. The teachers at this school are decent, kind people. Plus, the demo stuff they do is fun as well. The break times and periods feel reasonable as well. I definitely learned quite a bit from here. The only downside is that sitting in this room feels like sitting in an refrigerator.
Absolutely worth every penny! They are patient driven to promote safe, defensive drivers! Jennifer was my son hands-on, driving instructor. She was absolutely amazing!! I would recommend this driving class for everyone under age 18!!!
They were amazing! In class was a little rough due to the group of students but there's nothing you can do about that besides deal with it. Although that, I learned a lot from participating, staying in conversation, and listening! My group was very talkative during class so that was quite frustrating, but it was great. Anna was GREAT at covering the important sections, keeping at a good pace, going over what was on quizzes and tests, and using visuals when needed. She was just a great teacher overall. The driving section went GREAT as well! I had Sharee Venditte as my instructor and she was just amazing. I started as someone with zero experience and she taught me in such a great way to where I passed my drivers test the first time and was hardly nervous while I also had hardly any practice at home due to college classes, and nervous parents, haha! It was also so amazing to learn the safe and correct way to drive on the roads with full awareness compared to the way lots of others do today and then becoming comfortable. It's also very comforting in the beginning knowing they have a break on their side, haha! If you're looking for yourself, your child, or your student, they are great and perfect!

Have to add from my previous post it’s not 3400$ they are coming after me for it’s the whole 8000$ for never attending one class or stepping foot in their classroom . For telling them I’m sorry I can’t afford your classes I have to work that I can financially afford the school right now! That is pure vindictive greed ! Like ruin someone’s life and credit for never attending a class because they financially can’t . So a few weeks after telling Ken the owner I could not attend he send me to a collection agency for the 8000$ . When he’s the owner he could have understood and let it go but he’s using contract as a weapon . Even thought I apologized saying I can’t afford the school which is wayyyy overpriced ! The highest CDL school in Omaha area! I’m now in collections for 8000$! I will preach this over and over take your money somewhere else !! Please this guy isn’t about you he’s about the money period ! And yes I will attach the texts they don’t say much ! I won’t attach the ones just asking about the school I’ll attach the ones telling him I’m sorry I can’t attend !! Just please avoid this school at all costs !! Cuz life can happen and u can’t afford it if you can’t go and this man will come after you for every penny!!
Absolutely loved going thru this school! I’ve learned so much the short amount of time I was here. Mike was my instructor and was an absolute blast to train with. All of the instructors in fact were top notch! Thank you for getting me the education and knowledge to help me pass my CDL exam
My husband went through CDDT as a third party. He had a longer journey than most but even after failed attempts always would come home to tell me how supportive, and encouraged he still was. Because he was being told, and comforted that he could do this & was capable. He eventually passed & I know one major reason he was able to cross the finish line was because of this company. Couldn't recommend anyone else more, simply because of the results (obviously) but the condition they returned my husband to me in everytime- still confident, and optimistic. Until that optimism for passing became a reality.
My employer offered to pay for me to get my CDL, and after some searching, I found CDDT. Their class offering was flexible allowing me to go in the evenings, and still work removing snow since I did this over the winter. The instructors were friendly, and were encouraging throughout the process. The rest of the students were extremely helpful when learning new components, offering tips and tricks to help get the different aspects nailed. When we send future employees to get their CDL we will be sending them through CDDT for sure.
Did my schooling at custom diesel. Really couldn't ask for a better experience. Everyone is very knowledgeable and wants to see you succeed from start to finish. Definitely the right choice if you're looking to get your cdl.

I absolutely loved the course here! I had both my children (now 16 & 18) take the class and I feel they learned what they needed to excel in their "new-driver" role (aside from what I could teach them). The kids really liked their instructors. You can do either "in person" or virtual for the class time portion and then 3 -4 days/nights of driving , where they make the kids check the tire pressure, oil levels, and adjusts the mirrors, etc EVERYTIME! And they take them all over the city, in all types of traffic. We did the "in class" because my kids get enough screen time . Scheduling was simple with a great selection of either days/nights or weekdays/weekends. I also loved that, once the course was completed and they passed, they just had to run up to the DMV, turn in their paperwork, and they got their Driver's license! I would definitely recommend their program to anyone.
Enrolled my 4th and final kid in driving lessons here, each time gets better than the last. They actually went over and above the call of duty after I messed up my scheduling. They took away all of the stress and made it all work. They even found my kids sweatshirt and went through the process of elimination and got it to us, the right kid. Amazing staff, seriously the best experience. They did this in the middle of construction and havoc. So incredibly impressed. THANK YOU for being a great part of an important chapter in a kids life. He learned so much.
Took the POSH class in June of 21. Knowledgeable and Professional. The instructor was able to get the class talking and also keep it on track. I also left with a lot of good resources, and expanded my network of safety professionals. Thanks NSC Nebraska TEAM!
I highly recommend National Safety Council, NE for Safety training. The staff is very accommodating for my training needs and education. I have had the opportunity to observe presentations by Safety leaders with the Breakfast series. The presentations have left me motivated and focused on helping our employees be safe at work and at home.
Sharing for my husband. The staff at NSC, Nebraska are some of the best in the nation. Safety training is exceptional and the passion they have for students and safety of this country are the best I've seen in my 40 year working career.

I'll preface this by saying I used to work at the DMV. Drivers from this school were the most unprepared, terrifying drivers I've ever shared a car with. Saying that this school rubber stamps passes is an understatement as I've seen drivers from this school fail 9 driver tests... and not by a small margin, either. These people are driving on the wrong side of the road, turning in front of oncoming traffic, unable to drive in a straight line... There's no earthly way that it was believed they were ready to try another test before they were sent back to us.
Best instructor ever!! So patient and knowledgeable! He made me feel so confident and safe while learning. He definitely knows what's his doing. Just an amazing man and instructor all around. Grateful he was my teacher. I recommend this instructor hands down!!
I was able to get my driver's license thanks to bob

The boss lady is a far left nut job. Only reason I give two stars is because everyone else seemed polite and I think the company does some good for the community, but the lady in charge has absolutely no social skills and came off very rude.
Yay my son got his license!
worst place ive ever been too. went to it years ago was looking to see if my family and i still had our reviews up. the woman that was my driving instructor made me sit so close to the steering wheel i couldnt even breathe and then proceeded to say driving was unsafe for me. absolutely disgusting. do NOT go here. looks like they take down all the bad reviews because they know the truth about them? dont go here. would never recommend to anyone.
Very disappointed in this program. Very unorganized and unprofessional staff. My daughter had completed 6 units of online coursework. The AAA program did not save her coursework. Tracy and Dusty both were unwilling to help. They gave us an 800 number to call. Tracy stated that there are many problems with the program. My daughter ended up having to re do all the coursework! The class is to take 25-30 hours. She ended up logging 42+ hours due to this error. She finally got through the course work and passed with a 92% and we were scheduled 3 drive time appointments. Her first time to drive was Sat 7/1/23. When we arrived we were told her appointment had been cancelled. I showed the instructor, Terry the confirmation email we received the day before. He said that Tracy had cancelled the appointment as she had scheduled too many students to drive that day. Nobody bothered to let us know that the appointment was cancelled! I expressed my frustration with the program and Terry laughed and shrugged stating that he was not surprised. I left 2 messages and an email for Tracy, she has yet to reply to my email. I did speak with the director John today. He did apologize for the errors. However, was not willing to do anything about it. I paid $380 for this circus. Zero accountability by anyone in the department. My daughter has 3 drive times scheduled, hopefully they are not cancelled. There is also no confirmation that her completed coursework has been sent to the DMV. I am concerned that she will not get her license due to the staff at Nebraska Safety Council not doing their jobs. If you are looking for a drivers ed program, do no choose this one!
