I failed my first exam in NY, and then moved to NJ, but I was fearful of driving ever since I failed that first exam in NY. It's been 3 years since then, so I thought I would try to get some classes again and get the license in NJ. I was very anxious but thankfully my instructor was Marcelo. He's the nicest, goofiest person I know, so just his personality instantly makes you stress less. He is also knowledgeable and explains everything very well. Thanks to him I was able to overcome my fear of driving and pass the exam without a problem. I feel so much more confident now, thanks Marcelo, you're the best!

I just passed my driving test and couldn’t be happier with my experience at this driving school! Huge thanks to my instructors, Ernesto and Carlos — both were incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and supportive throughout the entire process. I had a great experience with my instructor, Ron. He was very flexible and informative. He taught me everything I needed to pass the road exam, which helped me obtain my license without problems. I took lessons here with Leo and he was amazing! He was very informative, helpful, and kind. Made sure to explain everything in detail, even giving you a visual (well imaginary) example, in order to past the road test. These examples helped out a lot as it gave me a better understanding of the test overall. He made sure that you felt comfortable throughout the entire lesson by cracking jokes and ensuring safety on the road! I had quick practice before my road test with Chokri, he thorough and very informative about the things which helped me pass, and believe me I have given this test before and even after having good driving I was failing, but Chokri fixed it with his insights and instructions. There were three of us, and all of us passed at once, 100% Success record 😂
Took 2-3 lessons and passed the road test on the first try! Moses & Chokri are both amazing instructors! They’re patient and knowledgeable. Chokri took me to the Lodi testing center and on the way there he spoke and made jokes which put my nerves to ease! Professional and kind from start to finish! Each time I have emailed Safe Roads Driving School, I have consistently received a prompt, professional and kind answer. Same goes on the phone. Today, I hired their services to pick me up and take me to Newark for my road test. I have been an out of country driver for 12 years, but an exam is an exam, and I was a bit stressed. The instructor who picked me up, Chokri, gave me a phenomenal confidence boost on the way there, with a subtle mix of last minute tips and happy small talk. Boosted with his warm friendly energy and his confidence, I passed the test without any issue. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and recommend this school to anyone looking for a driving school in Jersey City.
Choukri was my third driving instructor in my driving learning journey, but thanks to Choukri at Safe Roads School, it turned into an empowering and even enjoyable experience. Extremely patient and respectful. From the very first lesson, Choukri made me feel at ease. He’s not just an efficient instructor—he’s a confidence builder. Before anything else, he focuses on making you feel capable behind the wheel. No pressure, no stress—just calm, steady encouragement. He has a natural gift for teaching in a way that feels relaxed but still highly focused and he delivers real learning experience. It’s hard to overstate how helpful that is, especially if you're nervous or starting from scratch. One of the things I appreciated most is that Choukri doesn’t just teach you how to pass the test—he teaches you how to drive well, for life, I passed my test thanks to him and I am planning to take a couple additional hours for advanced driving. He has some of the smartest little tricks and methods that truly simplify driving and take the guesswork out of situations that can be overwhelming at first (parallel parking, anyone?). He’s incredibly flexible with scheduling, always punctual, and just an all-around reliable human being. And beyond all the technical stuff, he’s simply a very kind, respectful, and humble person—which makes the learning environment that much more comfortable. My time learning with him was a true fun and learning time. The school itself is also extremely professional. I often communicated with Chelsea & Another young lady on weekends at the front desk, and they are both so on top of everything. You get clear text and email reminders for your lessons, confirmations for your road test dates, and any changes are handled promptly and efficiently. It’s organized, smooth, and reassuring every step of the way. No delays, no cancellations. This is a 100% genuine recommendation from someone who is now a licensed, much more confident driver thanks to this experience. If you're on the fence or shopping around for a driving school, go with Safe Roads—and ask for Choukri if you can. He made all the difference.

I just got off the phone with Veronica, and I have to say—I’ve called so many schools searching for great service, starting with the person who answers the phone. That first interaction says a lot about the company and how they treat potential clients. At most of the other schools I called, the staff was rude, rushed, and even aggressive when I asked simple questions, like who the instructor would be. But Veronica was completely different—she was patient, helpful, and not pushy at all. I had also called once before to gather information, and the person I spoke with then was just as kind, though I didn’t catch their name since I was still shopping around. So far, I’ve had two calls with two different people, and both experiences were positive. I’ve now scheduled a six-hour class for someone, and I’ll update once we receive the service. But based on my experience so far, this school truly deserves recognition for its professionalism and customer service.
I must say that my experience with Golden Wheels Driving School was a pretty good one. Courteous drivers who took the time to really explain things to my daughter. They were also very patient with her. I would definitely use their services again.

I practiced driving for the first time with an actual instructor the morning of my test. I passed! Vanessa is calm and so nice at all times. I had such a great experience!!! It was such a hassle to get a driving school to use their car, but Divinci saved the day! He was able to squeeze me in, and also gave me more confidence in 1 hour, than i had in 1 year from previous instructors!! Test was smooth and fast, and now I have everything I need to go out on my own!
Davinci is a great instructor. My daughter took lessons at RDS and learned everything she needed to. Davinci was patient and was with her every step of the way. Royal Driving School is the only school I recommend. Five stars!

I just want to say how Collette made me and my son’s day!! Today was his birthday and his test was scheduled for 8:20. The driving school that we dealt with was supposed to pick him up at 7:30 to take him out prior to his test. Well they never showed!! My son was devastated. We decided to just drive to the DMV and I approached Collette and asked about their services. She offered to take him for a refresher and let him use her car for the test. He passed!!! I’ve never seen my son so excited! Thank you All Jersey Driving School and thank you Collette for saving the day!

I used All Jersey Driving for all three of my boys. I couldn’t be happier. They took the stress off me during the Pandemic for my oldest. I highly recommend paying extra for the one hour refresher class before the test.
I found them last minute while trying to find an eligible rental to take the test. Cheaper than a rental. Service was beyond expectations. The prompt service at the Mvc was worth the price alone. Highly recommend it even if you have an eligible vehicle, but value your time. Genius business model. Thank you very much!

Zachary driving school have the best instructor. Both of my son went to this driving school. I highly recommend Zachary driving school.
Would recommend everyone to come here, Zach was really helpful during the driving lessons where he taught several ways or scenarios that may happen to you during the road test or life in general. I had failed my road test multiple times and with different driving schools for all of them. However, with Zach teaching me and giving me tips on how to pass I managed to pass on my first try 👍. Really recommend going here for driving lessons
My sister and I were both taught by Zach himself and we had a good experience with him! He’s a great instructor, extremely nice and blunt, and taught us exactly what we needed to know for the road test. I took my road test with the school’s car and passed thanks to him. I could not be more glad that I used this driving school. Zachary is an honest, respectful, and kind hearted man and he made me feel very safe driving with him. I went with Lenny’s because of the good reviews on Google. After the experience my daughter had, I wouldn’t bother recommending them.. He was appropriate and professional, but did not teach a lot of the things I expected. My daughter completed the driving lessons without having learned how to park, parallel park, or many other lessons of the road. I thought those two things would just be in the basics of how to drive. After the fact it was difficult getting in contact with anyone. Texts and voicemails were left unanswered and when there was a reply, it was short. I’d consider another school.
Thank you Lenny driving school for being there when I needed you. Your service is definitely one of great importance to those of us drivers that don’t have someone readily on hand to assist in our road test so again thank you. I passed my road test thanks to JIMMY very quickly. Has has been great, friendly and patient during all my lessons. He is a great instructor. I recommend this driving school a lot. All the staff is friendly and made it easy for me.
Just passed my road test in Lodi. I had specifically asked for Jimmy when scheduling my classes as this centre, based on all the reviews I saw. And I was glad I did. He explained the "why" behind all his instructions. And mainly, he not just taught me how to park but also made me practise fixing it. We simulated different scenarios of incorrect parking and learnt how to fix it. This practise is what helped me pass my test. I took class with some other instructor as well, who was not good. But I can vouch for Jimmy! :)
I was scared to learn to drive for years and tried a couple of other driving schools before I found Falcon. Jimmy was my instructor: he was always very patient, calm and chill which helped me manage my anxiety. I also liked that he always explained WHY it’s important to do things in a certain way. He also made sure not to overwhelm me with too much information- each lesson giving more context and details when I was ready. I never felt stupid or not capable which had happened before with other instructors. Jimmy taught me to parallel park and K-turn pretty well. He also prepared me for the road test, explaining what mistakes people typically make (and pretending to be an angry or distracting examiner). I passed on the first try. He also accompanied me to the road test which, I think, contributed to my success. Thank you, Jimmy! I also wanted to thank the scheduling ladies - I changed my schedule a few times and it was not easy to keep up with it, but they tried to accommodate every time and managed everything well.

I had a near perfect time with international. They were always on time and clear. Carlos whom I had 2 times was phenomenal, incredibly patient and nice. I recommend him to anyone learning to drive. When a small inconvenience came they accommodated me in the best way possible and resolved any and all issues. The day of the test I had a Portuguese guy who was an incredible help and explained in great detail absolutely everything. Joanne was honestly a pleasure! She calmed all my nerves & a great, patient instructor. Thankfully I won't have to go back to retest but I would definitely recommend Joanne & Advantage Driving School.
I was a learner driver myself and I enjoyed my 6 hour behind the wheel service with Scott the instructor. He helped me along the road and observed every move I made while driving. He also helped me with parallel parking and what to do at the day of the road test.
Celeste is the absolute best instructor I have ever had! I passed the road test thanks to her instruction and guidance. I can’t recommend her enough if you want someone who will be kind, patient, and correct your mistakes in a calm and neutral manner. She relieved the anxiety I had around driving and finally, after 10 years of thinking about getting my license and on/off driving lessons, I’m a licensed driver!

I was extremely happy with my entire experience with Cornely Driving School. Their system is setup so it's easy to know what to do at each step and the process made what could be a stressful experience seamless. The best part of our experience was the driving instructor, George. He made my daughter feel at ease, confident in her abilities, and was very knowledgeable in teaching her the ways of the road. Overall it was an excellent experience and I will be using Cornely Driving for all my children.

I had an amazing experience with this school. I never took driving lessons with them except for today (the day of my road test) we had a two hour practice and then went straight to the test. I passed on my first try!! Thank you so much!! 100 percent recommend this school!! ☺️
The driving instructor came in half an hour late and took another 45 minutes for us to even start. There was no “ sorry for being late.” As we were driving to the practice spot, the instructor was driving with the phone in her hands talking to different people. Once the instructor got off the phone she told me that she had 2 people waiting on her at the dmv for their test. Which shows that not only did they not respect my time, they’re also not respecting their other client’s time. So, whoever is making the appointments is overlapping the times. That should’ve been my cue to leave. At the practice spot I was instructed to switch to another car with another instructor that just finishing up with a student.This instructor was the cherry on top of this bad experience. I informed her that this was my first time being behind the wheel. She had no patience and was yelling at my mistakes. I was ready to leave that car but I was too far into it to turn back. Overall, I think this place is disorganized with their scheduling, don’t respect people’s time, unprofessional and show no hospitality. This was my experience at this driving school.

Rosie taught me EVERYTHING i needed to know in one session. She made me feel super comfortable on the road and taught me tips on how to park. I parallel parked perfectly on my first try. This place is the most unprofessional business I've dealt with. I contact them in Jan 2016. My son's test isn't until 5/23. I wanted to do all of the lessons in January, but it was recommended that we spread them out. One in Jan, Mar and May. Well the first one was fine. I called in Mar to schedule the second lesson and was told he was booked the week we wanted to do it, but he would get back to me with some available days. Well he never got back to me and I couldn't leave a message because his mail box was full! Just spoke with him this morning and was told that he would not be able to fit any lessons in before my sons test!!! What a waste of time, I would not recommend this company to anyone!! If I could give them no stars I would!
Rob from Cherry Hill driving school is very good. He’ll tell you exactly what needs to be done. Follows his schedule and gets it done. Teaches your child. Some of the best driving techniques for safety and get them the paperwork they need to get their license as soon as possible.!!

I typically don’t post reviews BUT….this man has been nothing short of amazing to my son. For starters DMV messed up on his permit he told us how to go about getting it fixed. Soon as it was fixed he came right out and took my son driving, gave him extra time, and took made him feel comfortable behind the wheel. It didn’t stop there…he came the next day worked with us and encouraged my son prior to taking the driven test. Needless to say I been working with my son for months and was so frustrated. Mr Magdy is one man army. He teaches only after observing the driving style. His correction method in case of hitting curb and alternative methods of k turn made me pass my road test at lodi with breeze. He is punctual and may sound impatient if we miss time. He gives one hour exact course unlike other driving schools. Definetly would recommend this driving school if your aim is to drive safe and of course clear the road test.
From the moment of sitting in the drivers seat this man made me feel confident. He called out and corrected my mistakes from the inception. I forgot all fears I had of driving on the highway and didnt realize I was on there. Was so relaxed.Very gentle, patient and knowledgeable man, his classes are worth every buck. His focus is on his student making sure they learn the proper way to drive. #1 driving instructor in JC.
When I told him I had a driving test and did not have a ride he went out of his way to not only make sure that I arrived at my test but I learned some helpful pointers along the way. He is a man that truly cares for each and every one of his customers and wants to help you pass at a very affordable cost. Id recommend him over any of the other driving schools in New Jersey.
It was really bad. First of all he has a thick accent and worse than that is, he has big ego. He keeps yelling over every single mistake that you make. This was my second and final lesson. I am done with him. Forget with driving lesson he has a big ego over the phone too. He should understand that people have tough time understanding his thick accent yet he is so foolishly proud of his knowledge that he has an audacity to shout at others as if he is teaching free of cost and doing favor to others. Also, I must let to know that he is not focused on teaching. Hardly explains any road concepts and most of the time keeps talking over the phone booking his appointments. I will never recommend this person as a teacher
Passed in first attempt, took 11 hours driving About me: I haven't driven before and this is the my first time learning to drive experience. I took my first class with Amar DS for an hour, second one with Amin for 2 hours and then I got appointment with St.Mina DS. Magdy is all in all when it comes to St.Mina DS Timing: I usually book appointments at the end of my driving session for the next one. He gives me call five minutes before reaching and ensure I get complete 2 hours. About instructor: He asks in first class what is the expectations from him, what you want to do for this 2 hours, etc. I found difficulty understanding his linguistics at first few times, but the main words like brakes, gas, left, right, stop, k turn, park are clearly understood. So, I never bothered about the stories he shares. My driving sessions: I took 5 sessions, each 2 hours. Session 1,2 turns, parking, backup Session 3 highway driving at night Session 4 highway, parking, k-turn Session 5 local street driving On the day of exam, I requested him for an hour to practice and drive to Rahway, my exam centre. I found the tips he shared very helpful during exam, like the stop signs where people miss and fail, 3 time signal change while k-turn. At the end, I felt extremely happy to pass in the first attempt. Because I practiced in that car, I am confident now to handle any car. Because he always talks during the session or engaged in calls, I am confident now that I can drive with any distractions caused by my fellow passengers. 4 🌟 only because he needs to improve a lot on car cleanliness .

My friend wanted to do her first driving class here and was forcibly removed from their schedule literal minutes before her class, because this company failed to tell her that they only accept cash. what is this? the 1800s?? she gave plenty of options such as zelle or even stopping at the atm and just pushing the class back a few minutes since she would have to uber to both places. i would think they’d understand the struggle since they obviously knows she can’t drive just yet, but all understanding and compassion were thrown out the window, as they only served as a bigger hurdle in her dream of getting her license. Dave has been a great driving instructor for my whole family. 3 kids and 1 mother. He has gone above and beyond to help them in any way he could. 1 niece to go and the family is complete.

The Instructor was very frendly and very helpful.
Very unprofessional, poor communication, disorganized. lack of honesty. Would not recommend.
You might as well trust a monkey to operate that business, and here’s why - they don’t keep track of any customers - they will not remember you at all - they don’t even know there own prices - forgot I was a person of disability driving so I had to reschedule my driving -instructor sucked in terms of not sticking to a time that you paid for - they don’t accept card in the 21st century -they fumble a lot within their little business in terms of communication - they didn’t accommodate to my disability at all There’s more but you get the point, I do not recommend
I called because I needed a car rental for the driving test the day of my test and they accommodated accordingly to me. The owner is so nice as well and very friendly. The instructor I had was very professional and gave me good tips. The only downside is that they only take cash!
Watched an instructor almost hit my car because they weren’t paying attention merging into rt 38 from 295 without LOOKING no signal nothing, holding their phone driving on a call used 0 turn signals from rt 38 into the centerton plaza the entire time driving incredibly reckless Thank god nobody was in the car but the instructor but they absolutely should NOT be teaching children drive if this is how you act without anyone in the car in a company car no less!

No la recomiendo para la CDL los instructores los que quiere es venderte video a pesar de tu pagale ala escuela para que te enseñé... tuve que ir a ostra escuela para poder tener mi CDL y Gracias a dios los logre
Great teachers and very helpful with the actual test.
The worst driving school ever. They showed up almost 45 minutes late then stated they were late from their next client and dropped off my son 15 minutes earlier. When I called and complained they were speaking Spanish and were disrespectful on everything they were saying about me. They finally agreed to provide the allotted time if I booked again cause they do not give refunds. I agreed. My son had a great experience with the instructor. I then called to book a road test. My name popped up on their caller id. They spoke in Spanish again. “Jennifer is on the phone. Tell her we do not have anything available for whatever date she asked for.” They are the worst. Horrible customer service. All they want is your money.
Personally, the school was great, the instructors were decent. It’s honestly up to the student and on how bad they want their CDL. I didn’t depend on the instructors to show me anything. My job was to treat this like a life changing step and did my own research at home so once I got to my classes the instructor would just correct my lacks and passed the test the first try 💯
CDL A Horrible waste of time and money, straight joke an instructor once told me don’t worry if you fail unemployment will pay for more classes not know that I paid cash money also on the phone while supposedly teaching you also they never have availability to fit your schedule so maybe if you are on unemployment is good place but not for the working think about it before you sign up 💯

the teacher hassan badawy was so amazing I recommend everyone who needs a teacher to be taught by him. he is a very very sweet person who will sit there and explain throughly how to do certain things and help you pass your drivers test on first try. he makes sure to take time and make you feel comfortable driving and get used to being on the street.
Scheduled two hrs of driving class and no one notified me to tell me that the driver was not coming due to an emergency! It was very inconvenient because I only have one day off! I suggest another driving school!
