You’re driving was pretty poor being a driving school. Unfortunately you were not a student driver. Next time instead of not allowing someone to come out of the exit you were trying to enter and you whipping in really fast almost hitting my car it’d be courteous if you were to allow me to exit so we could both safely maneuver.
Great school. My brother and twin sisters took driving lessons and skills test with Stallone. When they took the classes it was easy to sign up, schedule and excellent communication with the staff. We highly recommend five star driving school. Thank you!
I had an opportunity to train with them. They are very patient with their student drivers. Flexible lesson times and very welcoming people. Their environment is clean and refreshments served just incase you need something to ease the tension at first. My mum recently completed her driving lessons at The Way Driving School, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience she had. Her instructor, Francis, was incredibly patient, kind, and supportive throughout her learning journey. Francis and the whole team at the Way driving school in Lakewood are top-notch. I went in pretty shaky on my driving skills, but Francis was super patient and a great coach. He started me out with a solid warm-up routine that taught me a ton and really built my confidence. When it was time for the test, I was ready and passed without a hitch. If you're looking for a driving school in the area, these are the people to go with.
Really helpful and kind instructors. I had some practice driving but no practice doing some practical skills such as freeway driving, parallel parking, or backing around a corner. With 5 hours of instruction from them I was able to take and pass my test. I felt very safe following their lead and with the drives overall. Even as an anxious person their instructions and guidance kept me calm, so anyone needing instruction should benefit from this school.
I highly recommend the driving school. I drove one hour with Patrick then Francis examined my driving skills. Patrick was excellent. After the session, I ate rice with coconut peas which was a bonus because it was lunch time for the staff. They were kind enough to invite me over. Bless your hearts!
I had an amazing experience especially with instructor Charles, he was calm,collected and patient throughout the training. Scheduling was also tailored to my availability which was a big plus! , I highly recommend this school since all the staffs i met were welcoming and the training was soo smooth, comfortable and fulfilling. Isaac was a great driving instructor and I learned a lot from him!
This is our second child to go through the defensive driving class. We are very happy with this program. The online class was not only very convient but the instructor made the class fun and very educational. The driving instructor (we chose Erin when we could) has a wonderful nature to work with nervous teens. She really gave my son the confidence he needed and always gave him great feedback on where he can improve. If I ever had questions the office staff was just a phone call away and they were always very helpful. So glad we chose Defensive Driving School of Issaquah!
My instructor was Isaac Kim and I had a great time learning to drive. Isaac focuses on driving fundamentals and is very observant. He takes time to explain what needs to be done and how to improve the skills. I was amazed with small driving etiquettes that I learned through the sessions. He is also very patient, friendly and thoughtful with good humor. We also did some mock tests at the end to understand the test structure and expectations. This really helps a lot. Highly recommend Isaac and Defensive Driving School.
Clay and Lincoln were amazing teachers, they kept everyone engaged and made us have a great time!
My daughters just finished driving lessons with Issac Kim and he was fantastic. Very patient, great attention to detail, and made the girls feel comfortable. I went on many of the lessons and was impressed and learned a lot about helping the girls become good safe drivers. I highly recommend Issac.

Mike was a great introductor all around. When I took the knowledge test, he made me feel comfortable. I took the drive test with him too and it went smooth. Im glad I got him as an instructor!
Overall experience 10/10. I had mike as my instructor today, everything was smooth no added pressure and was very friendly. Definitely make sure to practice around that area beforehand! Will def recommend to others
I had my driving test with Megan, and I really appreciated how professional and calm she was throughout the process. She explained everything clearly, made me feel at ease, and treated me with respect from start to finish. Michael the instructor was incredibly rude and unclear in his instructions. And while we were reviewing our score in the lobby we had questions about the test marks. In a rude tone he snarked back at us. Then told us "You can just go." after two minutes of us reviewing our test scores again in the lobby. The young ladies at the desk didn't say a word. He also incorrectly scored countless mistakes. And had to rectify them constantly at the end of the test. The score went from a 74 to a 76 then to a 78 then finally back to a 76. Don't go here
Love this school! All the instructors are very clear and nice about instructions, the building itself looks great. The front desk workers are very helpful and answered all questions. Easy 5/5 stars

I would say this is the place for anyone who is looking for driving school who wants to learn very safe & secure! I took my written and driving test here very friendly/welcoming place. The instructor was very patient and calm. Most importantly, he provides clear instructions to demonstrate proper techniques. He uses simple Concise language to ensure the student understands the instruction, and show the student how to perform various driving maneuvers, Such as parking, changing lines and making turns. I was able to walk in for driver’s knowledge test and drivers test on same day. To me time was important factor for getting this done as my license from prior state expired before I could renew for Washington. Here are some pointers for someone wanting to get this done asap like me 1. Call the number to make sure they are able to take your knowledge test and driving test at the time you need. 2. Prepare for knowledge test; out of 40 questions you need to answer, 10 to 15 will be things that you do not need to know, or is not something you would know unless you review or memorize. Things like closest you can you park from fire hydrant in feet, or if you don’t drink definitely review BAC readings above which driving is illegal, minimum duration for which your license can be suspended in dui etc… duration the alcohol takes to get in the blood stream…. while you can answer 8 out of the 40 questions incorrectly to pass, it’s easy to mess up questions due to the way they phrase it. 3. Make sure to have your insurance and registration handy for the driving test. 4. Driving test was fun for me as it was through interesting neighborhood with a lot of roundabouts and bus lane, basically I never had to go above 25mph. But some may find it challenging. Overall I had a great experience because this place had services available right away. Meanwhile I do think the written test system for drivers license overall needs some work and rethinking as it has become irrelevant.
I had a really good experience learning from Lenji. He is patient and helps build your confidence in driving. He is also flexible in providing time slots and always super punctual. I would definitely recommend this place for driving lessons.

Drive 509 is an awesome CDL school. They gave me all the tools and resources to be able to confidently pass my Washington state skills exam and make me an employable CDL driver. The instructors were encouraging and helpful throughout all my training. In four short weeks I went from zero knowledge to backing trucks into tight spaces and driving down the freeway. I honestly cant say enough. Drive 509 is the best CDL school in the PNW, and I encourage anybody looking to get their CDL to go take a tour with the awesome office staff and sign up for class! I started with 509 in September of this year knowing nothing about driving trucks. The course and the instructors set you up not only to be a well I formed, capable driver but a cut above the rest when you get your license and start driving professionally. Phenomenal school with great instructors. I went in with absolutely zero experience driving a manual vehicle, backing trailers, etc. and I just took my Class A CDL state test today and passed. Drive509 prepares you extremely well, they go above and beyond industry standards. The class is challenging but definitely worth it! Thank you to everyone who helped me along the way! From the ladies in the front office (Brenna, Olivia, and Anna) to the instructors (Andrew, Cheryl, and Larry were the ones I worked most with) you were all extremely helpful! Andrew is one of the best teachers I have ever had for any class hands down. I would highly recommend Drive509 to anyone looking to get their CDL!
Signing up here was easily one of the best professional decisions I've made. I'm retired military and have had several jobs since leaving the service and finally found myself considering a CDL. I started the class in early April and I just completed it on 3 May 24. I also took the additional HAZMAT class with Drive509 which is part of the requirement to get an endorsement for hazardous materials on your CDL. I came into this class with absolutely no big rig experience and I was very nervous but I was very willing to learn. It did NOT all come easy to me, but I stuck with it anyway because if it were easy, then everyone would be doing it. There is an abundance of knowledge between all of the driving instructors and all of them are committed to sharing that knowledge with you in order to make you a safe, effective, and proficient operator. All of them have years upon years of driving experience under their belts and it shows. I am greatly appreciative of the knowledge that all of them shared with me because even though some of it was difficult for me, they managed to get me trained well. It was worth every bit of struggle to learn what they had to teach...and they are VERY GOOD at teaching you if you're willing to listen. When you arrive, take everything you think you know about big rigs and throw it out, and then listen to the instructors. They know what they're doing and you will too if you complete the training. If you're even thinking about it, I encourage you to walk in and talk with Brenna, Olivia or Anna...just GO. Especially if you're a veteran with VA benefits. The enrollment process could not have been smoother. GO...get signed up and take the training. It will be the best investment in yourself and your career. Truck drivers are in extremely high demand and getting trained to be one has to be one of the most assured routes to financial stability that I can think of today. I heard accounts of students having jobs waiting for them before they even finished the course. I raised an eyebrow at that and figured it was the exception rather than the norm...until I graduated. I finished the class on 3 May, I drive tested on the 4th, picked up my license from DoL on the 6th...and I interviewed for and obtained a job that I had applied for on 30 Apr. Yes...you read that right. I applied for a job on the 30th of Apr, and I got hired for the position on the 6th of May. And yes...they DID call the school to ask about me as a candidate. So, show up...do the work...listen to the instructors and you will leave with a skill that can land you a career very quickly. Embrace the struggle...it will be worth it!!!

I graduated from this school, just passed the exam and got my license. Wonderful school, excellent conditions, extremely friendly, responsible and professional teaching staff. During the training process, I closely interacted with the school director Howard and instructors Alex and Patrick. I saw that even those who came to study without English at all, the teachers taught everything that was necessary to prepare and pass the exam, and also laid down the initial skills of the profession. A lot of practice, enough time and opportunities to improve lagging skills, be it pre-trip inspection, backing or driving. I recommend this school to everyone and thanks again to all the instructors!

Awesome experience! Jake 2301, my tester, was an amazing guy. He was calm, funny and relaxed, which really helped me out cause I was really nervous. He made it feel more like going on a test drive with a friend. Still professional but relaxed. 10/10 would drive with him again.
I went here for driving school, it was fair and gave a great base of information for the official DOL written test and the real driving experience. All of the school drives were well managed and explained, and had firm yet achievable standards. When it comes to the official DOL tests though, words cannot describe how great Jake was. For the written, he explained everything well and set standards, yet also cracked jokes to calm everyone down. For the official driving test, he was a joy to chat with beforehand, and gave me a jolly rancher (which goes very far in my book- thanks man). During the drive test he did everything to "robot" procedure and judged fairly. Afterwards, he gave good feedback not just on the official parts of the test, but real tips for real driving. Jake is a wonderful tester and you can tell how much he cares about student success and safety. Would recommend this school heartily, and would recommend official tests from Jake even more so.

I’m a total beginner and started learning from zero with Jack. He’s super nice and friendly, honestly one of the best teachers I’ve ever met! Even though English isn’t my first language, he explained things so clearly that I had no problem understanding. I picked things up really fast and passed the test after just a few lessons. Just passed my driving skill test today. The workers are patient and nice. They don't rush you or push to much to the point you get distracted while driving and make unessary mistake.
I recommend studying at this school, I really enjoyed learning to drive here, I took a course of 10 lessons, I had a wonderful instructor Jeremy who taught me driving skills, I passed the driving test , The driving skills my instructor taught me help me drive without fear.
DO NOT GET THE RUSSIAN/UKRAINE LADY! Shes unprofessional and 9/10 she's not going to pass you. It was my first time taking the test and she gave me a 76. I retested the next day with a different instructor and passed with a 88. My new instructor was amazing! I forgot her name but she was the absolute best! She made me feel really comfortable. So the 5 stars is for her.

Recently took my driving test and so glad I picked this Driving School. Frank was really awesome! Very professional, calm, kind, and gave a lot of advice and tips during my warm-up before my actual road test. Can't recommend this school enough! Loved it! Got my license here and the instructors were super helpful, and scheduling was always a breeze.
The driving instructor’s were very accommodating and understanding whilst still making sure I understood my responsibilities and methods of driving over all great experience!
I took the class a year ago online and the classes them self's covered most of the information you need for driving but there were a couple of signs or rules that weren't covered in the online class. They did provide a work book for the online class, information on rules for drivers with permits, a student driver sticker(s) for your car, and they will get you your permit without needing to take any knowledge or skills testing alone with an account for there site for you to schedule practice drives, the knowledge base test, the driven test and being able to see what's left the graduate. Testing specific online (not the knowledge based test)was fine I didn't have a problem with it but if you need to retest they would let you. For in person driving you can either schedule a drive/test on your account on the website with the option to filter of time of day and who the teacher is or you can call the office to schedule but you might not be able to choose the teacher they give you the option to have 5 lessons but if the pay extra they'll give you the 5 lessons and 2 extra lessons were you can redo one of the previous lessons you may have struggled on. They do exception that you will be practicing driving outside of these classes thought and will give you a sheet to right down when you drive and how long for, if you run out of space thought you can go to the office for a new one but I suggest copying the sheet before you right on it if have the means to. The cars that are used for driving are quite good with the passenger seat having a brake pedal and rear view mirror for the teacher. Getting the their office in Shoreline isn't too tricky you just need to keep an eye out for the sign because it is a little small and there's a tree that can cover it depending on the season. When taking the knowledge based test you'll go in person to their office and test with other students and will receive test packet, ones your done you'll give the packet to the teacher and wait for it to be graded, you'll be called over to get your results back, you are able to retake the test if needed. And for the drivers test you'll go back to the office and will be tested on basic driving skills so you won't be going on the highway/freeway for your test and after the test you'll be graded and if you pass they will give you a copy of you test grade to take to the DMV to get your license. For the driving instructor at the Shoreline office I would recommend would be Mr. Scout Phariss who was very understanding with my PTSD from being in multiple car crashes as a kid and assured me that I would be safe and that is anything bad happened that he would be able to help, along with that he was very kind, liked to have conversations when driving, and was very patient when I was struggling with driving.
The safety first driving school was very nice, staff interactions were easy and quick! I would definitely recommend.

I’m a nearly 30 year old with a driving phobia who avoided getting my license for very many years. I finally got my permit in March and practiced a TON. Decided one day on a whim to call a driving school and schedule a driving test. My instructor was Eddie and the first first test with him I failed. But I’m glad I did, because he showed me everything I was doing wrong that could get me or someone else seriously hurt. Eddie was a police officer for 30 years and not only that, but he’s a father. He’s a really special instructor. He’s firm where needed because he CARES not only about you but about the other people on the road due to seeing things in his former career that nobody should have to see. My dad passed a few years ago and Eddie felt so much like a dad teaching me to drive that it just helped me ‘get it’. After my initial failure I scheduled a 30 minute test drive before and a driving test after. If you fail the first time I strongly suggest this because it helps you work out your nerves while driving and gives the instructor time to teach you further before your next attempt! I feel like everything happens for a reason, and Eddie being my instructor was what I really needed. You might not always love what he tells you, but he’s telling you because he cares. When you make a break through together you can really tell he’s as excited as you are. He really is a rare breed these days and I can’t express to him the impact he has made on my life. If you are an adult driver like me (or a parent of a new driver looking to pair their kid with an instructor who will teach them and really make a breakthrough) and want to take a stab at it, I strongly suggest Eddie. He won’t always be the ‘nice guy’ but he will make sure you understand why and learn the technique needed to be a safe driver because that matters most. Thank you, Eddie, for helping me tackle a phobia that has kept me down for years and has impacted my life. I can’t say another instructor would have done all you did. I am forever thankful for all you did in the two sessions I had with you. Can’t thank you enough. Also the front desk staff is amazing and so, so, so comforting and reassuring. 911 Driving School is a wonderful organization. The kids get to learn from former police officers, who know what it's like out there. The staff is kind, helpful and have a great sense of humor. They genuinely care about our kids and want them to be successful on the roads. Information is presented in a safe, yet firm way and the kids feel like they can trust their instructors. I've sent two kids to their program and they both came out with a clear understanding of what is expected of them on the road as responsible drivers and citizens. I highly recommend this program.
Best decision I ever made was taking my son to 911 two years ago. Great instructors and friendly staff. My daughter will be going this summer, and my youngest son will too in two more years. It is a bit expensive, some may have to plan and save up for it ahead of time, but take it from me... every dollar is worth their safety and quality education at 911 Driving School.
A big thank you to the instructor who helped my daughter learn how to drive confidently in just one month! She was in a class with over 30 other students in this summer holiday, and we were so impressed by how organized, patient, and professional the teaching was. Excellent instructors who truly care. Instructors very knowledgeable and they go out of their way to work with the kids. I paid nearly $200 more for this school, taught by peace officers and I'm glad I did. It was the best $650 to $700 I ever spent, and I know my son years down the road will genuinely thank me for putting him through such a first rate school. When you evaluate driving schools don't look for the cheapest ones, but look for the ones with the best track record. 9-1-1 I recommend wholeheartedly without reservation or hesitation. I can't recommend this driving school enough!! My sibling and I enrolled at the same time and had a really great experience learning to drive at this school. The main instructor Warga is an amazing instructor, he is very knowledgeable and was always clear about what he was looking for, he is teaching people to be the safest drivers possible! It was also very easy to schedule drive times. Tests also had scheduled times which was great. The online classes were also great, they taught practically everything you need to know to be a responsible driver. Warga's wife (who is also an instructor) was also very professional and friendly, we always had great experiences with her!! Overall, The instructors are very knowledgeable, professional, and so nice too! They teach you everything you need to know about driving. This school is definitely worth your time, and I would recommend it to anyone learning how to drive!!

I recently took my behind-the-wheel driving test at this driving school, and I had a great experience! There was a man with long hair and glasses (unfortunately I forgot his name) who helped me. Even though I don't speak English very well, he was incredibly professional and made sure I felt calm and confident during the test. Before the actual driving test, he even gave me a short lesson, which was very helpful. His attitude and support made a big difference for me. My son had an excellent learning experience at Time to Drive. Classes were small, and Malika was great at putting to ease his nerves when behind the wheel.
My daughter attended Time to Drive 6 years ago and we had such a positive experience that there wasn’t a doubt where my son would attend when his time came last fall. Both kids were very reluctant to take driver’s ed and I knew an in-person, smaller class size would be better for them. They both had positive experiences because of Malaika’s professionalism, kindness and patience. By far, Time to Drive is the best driver training school in West Seattle.
Malika at Time to Drive was the perfect instructor to teach my son to be a safe, skilled and responsible driver. My older kids learned to drive at one of the other local driving schools. When I went to sign my younger son up, I learned that the other school was no longer doing in-person classes. I am so happy I discovered Time to Drive and got to know Malika. The in-person classes along with her calm, patient and kind demeanor was just what my son needed. I highly recommend Time to Drive.

Ben is a thoughtful, caring, and knowledgable instructor. I was having trouble with backing around a corner and he showed me the proper way to handle the steering wheel and where to look in the mirrors. He also doesn’t try to up-sell unnecessary packages if you don’t need it. I thought I needed more classes, but he said I don’t need it and told me to just practice a couple things on my own. I passed the test in one try!

I just passed my driving test today with Instructor Marat, and I couldn’t be happier! He was incredibly friendly and supportive. His calm and encouraging pep talk before the test really helped me relax and stay focused on my driving. The entire experience—from the reception desk to the driving instructors—was smooth and professional. Everyone was respectful, kind, and made me feel comfortable. I highly recommend this place to anyone preparing for their driving test!
I really appreciate my road test instructor, Marat Murzamuratov, for being professional, responsible, and very kind. Since I mentioned that my English wasn’t very good, he made sure to explain each instruction clearly and always double-checked that I understood. He was patient and respectful throughout the test, and his detailed feedback afterward helped me a lot. I’m truly grateful for his support and encouragement. What’s more, he told me what i should do with detailed instructions after i passing the test.
I took 5 adult classes with different instructors (Victor, John, Brian) and they were all awesome and helped me stay calm while driving. They're all really cool, patient instructors who will make you feel at ease. I also took my road test+warm up there, with Isaac, and I can't recommend it enough. He gave me great tips for the test, and he explained everything extremely clearly before starting the actual test. He also went over my point deductions explaining them and how to do better. I passed both written and road tests on the first try thanks to their great instructors and examiner!
I booked a warm-up + driving test with 911 and luckily got Marat as my instructor. it was amazing! He kept me completely calm during the warm-up, which gave me the confidence to pass my test with ease. Highly recommend Marat!

I took my knowledge test, driving lessons, and driving test here. My instructor, John, was super chill, friendly, and patient — he really helped calm my nerves. I had never driven before, so during my first few lessons I got quite a few honks (like, quite a bit 😅), but he stayed completely calm, never lost patience, and guided me through everything. He helped me build confidence, trust my instincts, and shared great reference points that made driving feel so much easier — and taught how to add personalized ones for any car. I’d highly recommend him to anyone who’s nervous, anxious, or learning to drive for the first time!

I love Jason's teaching styles and love going to class. He is very welcome and always nice. The only thing I wish Defensive Driving could do better is their time management. They are very educational but feel we get off task fairly often. I recommend Defensive Driving School to anyone and everyone.

I would highly recommend this driving as I finally passed after I completed number training sessions. They so helpful in breaking down traffic safety techniques. I overcome my fear in freeway after couple of drives. Their teaching is really unique. Before, I enrolled to Roadsafe driving academy, there was another driving school nearby that bought few lessons, the instructor literally yelled at me, that's time I started different driving school, it really worth it coming here. I would humbly say this is best driving in seattle washington, at least in my experience.
I had a great experience with Roadsafe Driving Academy. I had not had prior experience in driving before I enrolled to Roadsafe Driving Academy. I bought an adult super package which I learned all the traffic safety rules as well as confident driving in freeway driving, downtown and city driving. One of the that really appreciated learning parking techniques, these instructors are amazing in teaching techniques. Parallel and back around the corner parking have been challenging in the beginning but, I mastered eventually. Thanks to Roadsafe team. I’m thankful. We bought a package of lessons for our teenage son and he passed first time. This driving school led by a man named Umal is exceptional. They give you different drivers throughout the package which works really well in giving the student a variety of feedback. Highly professional place, great driving school.
I’m very happy with Roadsafe driving academy. I had zero driving experience. I enrolled to the adult super package which is a comprehensive package that addresses on all the driving aspects. My biggest fear was driving in the freeway. It came manageable after I had few drives in it. Downtown was another challenge but I overcame through consistent practice. One thing that I like about Roadsafe was very flexible schedule and knowledgeable instructors. I sincerely appreciate their efforts in training and helped me overcome my fear in driving especially in freeways. I would highly recommend.

My husband and I took the Kickstarter and Beginner’s Permit Course. Both instructors were outstanding and we appreciated that we could borrow helmets and motorbikes. We passed our permit tests and are looking forward to getting our first motorcycle and taking the endorsement course in late summer. This course is a must-have if you want to learn the skills to ride safely and correctly handle the nuances of braking, traction, cornering, swerving, and so forth. They teach you proper techniques so you load the tire correctly and maintain traction on the road. These skills could save your life!

The kickstand class taught by Sean was a nice introduction to motorcycles and basic safety. It was a good way to learn the setup of a bike and understand how to get moving. Will definitely check out the next course.

The content of the school is great but scheduling the drives is unnecessarily difficult. If you don’t happen to catch the mysterious time they release lessons, you have to wait an entire week to try again and most likely fail again. It’s been impossible to schedule my son for driving lessons. Any time I have reached out to the school for help, I get no where other than the canned response of keep checking. It shouldn’t be this hard. I can’t get my son in to finish his lessons and it’s been almost a year.
the online driving class was amazing!! my teacher Kramer was a very good teacher, and though i was worried the zoom would make me bored he was actually really engaging! the only issue is that scheduling the drives is a bit wonky since you dont get much say, but the help with the knowledge test was worth it :)

I strongly recommend going to this school if you are looking for your CDL license. They have the equipment for you to practice and test on, both manual or automatic transmission. The owner and instructor were extremely helpful from my first phone call all the way through the entire testing process. The instruction was exactly what was needed for passing the test with the State. Now working for Swift! Great training and excellent instruction! The class was extremely helpful, Mrs K answering questions both about the material and about drives, requirements, and sharing stories from her personal experience or from the News for examples. The lessons were engaging, something that is helpful to me as I have a hard time paying attention over long periods. The class and the teacher both helped lessen my personal anxieties about driving and the drives themselves, along with both tests taken during the class.

I recently moved to the US and was used to driving on the left side, so adjusting to right-side driving was a big change for me. The instructors at IDA Driving School helped me break old habits and get comfortable with the rules and flow here. They were very accommodating to my preferences, even though their slots are in high demand, and they were always responsive to calls and emails, resolving any queries quickly. The driving instructors trained me with a personalized approach — starting from the very basics all the way until I took my driving test. They focused on my weak areas, helped me build confidence, and prepared me not only to pass the test but also to navigate everyday driving in Washington, including freeway driving (even though that’s not part of the test). The best driving school I’ve ever been to. The driving instructor (Zahir) is kind, patient and understanding and will make sure you know the ins and outs of the road. An hour definitely feels like a minute and for that I highly recommend Salam driving school.

My teen really enjoyed the instructors, especially Rhea. We were able to go through the classes, written test, and drives in under 4 months. The trick is to set an alarm or whatever and check at 10am/12pm Thursday for the schedule to be posted. They get snapped up by the end of the day. So yes, if you're checking Friday-Wednesday you will have trouble finding prime appointments.
Online class was very convenient and seamless, instructors were very kind and helpful, especially Kramer Gill, who was always very positive.
There is almost never any drives and exams open, if you ever want to complete you have to go on ever Thursday at exactly 12 and compete to get an open slot. Not to mention they are prone to last minute cancelations, so good luck actually being able to get your schooling done through them. The school it self is great such as teachers and the courses, but their lack of business management makes it a horrible place to learn.

Amazing experience. Had Marty as my instructor he was very calm and assisted in helping me with my drives, Even with my anxiety, and not much experience on the road. He assisted in to help me pass my drives while also staying calm if I made a mistake while driving. He helped correct my mistakes and taught lessons.
Marty O. was an excellent drive test evaluator. I have a history of pretty severe test anxiety, and had put off getting my license for years because of it. Marty was the proctor for the written exam to get my permit, and he was very professional and encouraging throughout that process. His kindness and positivity finally made me feel ready to schedule the drive test. We met at the test location, and he made sure I had ample opportunity to ask questions and bring forward any concerns before we got started. I had purchased the 30min warm up in addition to the test (which I highly recommend, it was definitely worth it to get used to the vehicle prior to testing). Marty asked me what I would like to practice, and how I would prefer to be given any feedback or tips. During the warm up he gave some helpful pointers, letting me know things to look out for or things I could be doing better. He did this with all the seriousness of someone who cares about the safety of everyone on the road, but I never felt that he was unkind. I used most of my warm up time to practice my backing around the corner maneuver a few more times before the test, and Marty really helped me by teaching me a new technique, which I'll definitely continue to use moving forward. This made me feel a lot more confident going into the actual test. After the warm up, we drove back to the parking lot area we started in to begin the test. Marty let me ask questions again before we began, and also let me know how he'd be instructing me during the test. I ended up passing! Afterward, Marty went over his scoring rubric to let me know what areas to improve on, and told me he'd send over everything to the DOL later that same day. Marty is very effective, but also very kind, which I feel was a key reason I felt calm enough to schedule and pass this test. Highly recommend scheduling your practice drives and test here.
I have to leave a review for Mr Emmanuel. He is the most amazing instructor in my driving journey in the US. The school should give him a raise. He made my drive really comfortable and is really knowledgeable. In my 30 minutes warm up before test, he gave me some really useful tips which helped me. 100% recommend this center and no one else in WA.

Sam is a great instructor and a kind person! He accommodated me during the busy schedule among most driving schools in the area. He was thorough with all the tips and safety measures to be taken during driving and was polite throughout the interactions while driving. He taught all the things from backing, parallel parking, turning and lane changes. Was a pleasant experience for sure. Even though I had a little bit of experience, I took the 2hour driving lesson and learnt many things I could do better. During the actual test, he didn't make me nervous and kept talking through where I could improve. By far one of the best driving school in Seattle. I have took a class here once when I was a beginner driver and they taught me how with such ease and patience that I was in shock of how easy driving really was, and at the end of the year it was all success because I got my permit out of it. What a fantastic experience! We are a returning family. Glenn at Everett was our middle son's instructor 10 years ago. Returning to the school to have him teach Hayden was a no brainer. His professionalism and care of how he taught him was amazing. Today Hayden passed his final driving test, and I cannot thank Glenn enough for taking the time to teach our son. I want to think Hayden will take this experience and carry it on for the rest of his life. I would highly recommend Defensive Driving School if ever asked.
DDS is great! The Zoom class is way more engaging than I thought it would be, and I learned a lot. My instructor, Clay, was amazing; they explained the material quite well, made sure it was interesting, and answered questions whenever possible. The class doesn’t just teach laws, either, but makes sure students learn about how to drive safely and react to drivers who aren’t, car insurance, maintenance, how to buy a car, and more. The written tests sum up the material nicely. The driving instructors are patient and do a wonderful job of talking students through everything that needs to be done. The drives go over lots of important skills for new drivers, and they are ordered in a way that allows students to gain confidence in easier skills (such as parking and suburb driving) before moving on to more advanced skills (such as city and freeway driving). Students are also able to sign up for drives in a way that fits each of their individual schedules.
Had an amazing stick shift lesson with Walter. He is very patient and answered all my questions in great detail. I progressed enough that we even went on the freeway!
I highly recommend Christian as a driving instructor. I booked my warm up +test with him. I was a nervous wreck but he made me feel comfortable and the warm up was extremely beneficial for me. He explained everything nicely and professionally and was kind which was important to me considering how nervous I was.

i just took my drivers exam here and passed! terry is such an amazing instructor. i was nervous before getting in the vehicle and terry immediately calmed my nerves. the directions he gave were clear and he gave amazing tips while on the road during the exam. when it came to discussing what points i missed, terry explained them perfectly and told me how to prevent the mistakes happening again. 11 out of 10 experience!
This is the best driving school. I recommend it for all ages. Terry is the sweetest and was very helpful. Their $99 hour class is great it taught me how to Parallel park and how to drive better. I just want to give a big shout out to this driving school.

I can't express how professional and kind the Instructor was. He was so respectful to my husband and I. As soon as we set foot in the building, he introduced himself and walked us through the process of the expectations for the drivers test. This course is life saving. Being a new rider the MSF course was a must for me, and thank God for them. I took my course about a month ago, and everyday I encounter something I learned in class. I hear my instructor Kayla’s voice regularly. “LOOK UP” “EYES AND HEAD WHERE YOU WANT TO GO” “LOOK THROUGH YOUR TURN” I practice the drills we learned in small parking lots, and I’m still no where near a seasoned rider but I feel comfortable in what I have learned to be on the road safely and confidently. All this being said, Kayla was awesome. Skilled, informative, Patient, fun but no nonsense, just like a bike. Unfortunately, the other instructor wasn’t as great in my opinion. (I don’t want to mention his name in hopes to not embarrass but maybe he will work on things.) He was short with us, seemed impatient in general and if he had to re-explain a drill more than twice,(an older guy in our course had some trouble getting things) he would get this very intense grin on his face met with frustration. Especially if Kayla wasn’t present. Which I found more uncomfortable than learning something new and dangerous. When I come back for my other class, I hope Kayla is involved but he isn’t. I don’t think I’d stay. I don’t remember anything he said or did except for his rushful, arrogant, demeanor. Kayla she’s a PRO. She’s extremely real about the dangers and does her best to navigate and educate you through them as a beginner. If it wasn’t for her being an instructor in the course, and it had just been the other guy, I’m not sure I would have continued to ride. This course is worth every penny. Grab a course with Kayla!
10/10 recommend ! the staff is absolutely amazing and very welcoming. not only was i able to call and take my test that same week (drivers test) they answered any and all questions and made the environment very open and welcoming! i definitely will be recommending spokane motor!
Took courses at 2 local schools and this one was by far my favorite! The instructors were patient and awesome and really cared that I knew what I needed to know and they made it fun!! These ladies and gents love riding and teach the courses because they want you to love riding and be safe. It's obvious in their classes!
Great place to learn how to ride a motorcycle, it had amazing instructors that are patient and friendly.
