I received my 60 hour Heavy Equipment Certification with AKA Hauling. It was a very beneficial learning experience, with excellent instruction. They provided hands-on experience with great knowledgeable insight. I highly recommend AKA Hauling if you are considering Heavy Equipment or CDL certification. The instructors are seasoned professionals, and they teach in a positive, informative, and enjoyable manner. I especially appreciated how supportive and responsive they were to individual training needs. Top notch!

I highly recommend this school! The instructors are a father & son duo that work extremely well together. They made the class relatable, personable, and very easy to learn. The information was broken down so that it was not only a breeze to understand, it was also very easy to gain confidence in the knowledge. Personally, I was so confident and comfortable going into the testing that I passed on the first try. If you need a CDL school, this is the one to take.

5 Stars – Highly Recommended! I took my CDL Class B at AK Halloween in Alaska and had a great experience. As someone with a language barrier, the instructors went above and beyond to help me understand and find ways to memorize the material. Tassie was especially amazing—patient, supportive, and always willing to explain things in a way I could understand. TJ, Mr. Jose, and Mr. Lenners, Kelly, were also excellent. The entire team was professional, knowledgeable, and truly cared about my success. I’m very grateful for their help!

ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING! I was so nervous approaching the challenging world of commercial driving. I don’t think I would have succeeded in this field if it wasn’t for Coach and his team. Thank you so much for the experience, also thank you for bearing with me and my many frustrating days in class. These guys will work at your pace and only set you up for success. Thanks again guys.

I had a wonderful experience during my Basic Rider Course! Matt and Kat were wonderful instructors and gave me all the tools to feel safe and confident on a bike. The class was informative, well paced, and super fun! I can’t recommend this class and my instructors enough!

I recently took the basic riders course and it was a great time! Lots of good learning, step by step instructions with examples and a nice riding range. Shout out to Kat and Matt for being awesome and making the class a blast as well as sharing real life stories with the group. I will definitely be looking to do basic riders course 2 with ABATE in the near future. Thanks you guys. Keep up the great work!

Awesome experience! Kat, Trent, and Dan were really great instructors. They were patient, kind, encouraging and had a great leadership dynamic and sense of humor. I had way more fun than i thought I would because the instructors and other students were a great group to learn from and with. If you're considering getting your motorcycle license, I highly recommend A.B.A.T.E! 🤙

Recently took advantage of FINALLY completing the ABATE motorcycle coursing with a friend; something I’ve talked about doing forever. I’m honestly rather upset I put it off for so long. As someone with minimal to no riding experience, except for as a passenger— I truly had no idea how to manage riding, and between the four instructors I had with my three days of coursing. I feel so incredibly relieved, and embarrassed all in one. They made the experience like a breeze, a fun and humorous one. Emphasized the importance of motorcycle safety, and personal accounts and experiences. My cohorts, and those of whom I shared the class with were incredibly kind, and the experience as a whole was awesome. Super grateful for Kat, Dylan, Matt, and Matt ². Thanks you guys!

Just finished my motorcycle class and I had an awesome experience. Both instructors (Matt and Kat) were incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and made the whole learning process smooth and enjoyable. They explained things clearly, gave helpful feedback, and really cared about making sure we felt confident and safe on the bike. I honestly couldn’t have asked for better teachers. Highly recommend this class to anyone thinking about learning to ride—five stars all the way!

Mrs. Ruth and Mr. Caesar are very professional and honest about your performance. I am 27 and from Bulgaria. They were able to accommodate and work with my work schedule and made me feel part of the group. They also gave me this personal attention and worked with me to better both my knowledge and driving ability. I do recommend the Eagle River Driving School because I do believe that they are committed to give their best to put on the roads the best, safest drivers. They want your kids to be prepared, safe and they genuinely care to teach them the right way to drive!!

I’ve definitely learned a lot from my classes here, and overall the instructors have been very helpful and informative. Although I hate to single out one of the instructors, I have not enjoyed any of my drives with Ms. Shannon, and in my experience, she seems to act in a significantly less calm and kind way than the other instructors. Additionally, I have found some of her directions to be confusing or misleading in some ways. My only other complaint with this driving school is that they don’t seem to communicate super well, and I often received links to the video lectures multiple days after when I expected to receive them. Everything else about this driving school is very good, and I have really enjoyed having Mrs. Ruth and Mr. Caesar as instructors.

Eagle River Driving School made learning to drive so easy and fun! The instructors were really nice and they helped me feel more confident with driving. I definitely felt like, without a doubt, I’d pass the drivers license test. Thank you so much!

I found my time here to be very beneficial. Both the zoom classes and the driving classes taught me details which I hadn’t known before, and helped me improve upon the driving skills I already had. I had Mr. Caesar as my instructor on all but one of my drives. He helped me feel comfortable and patiently pointed out the things I needed to improve. The instructors are all very nice and calm during the drives which was very helpful for me. The online class was also very informative on certain actions you should be taking while driving and the reasons behind those actions. I definitely think this course makes me more confident and comfortable driving.

I sent my 16-year-old boy to the classes and skid car. I’m extremely happy with their professionalism and competent instructors. My son got his license at the end of the class. He continues to be an example of good driving behavior without any close calls/collisions.

The coarse was informative and the driving portion was by far the best driving instruction I've ever received. My only complaint would be the road test is graded very harshly and things that were permitted during practice were not on the course, which I found very odd.

Posting for both myself (the dad) and my 16 yo daughter (the new driver), awesome course and awesome people!! Filled in the few (okay, maybe more than a few ;-) ) blank spots her old dad left in her driver education and she is a more confident driver because of it!! Very glad we were pointed their way and hoping this helps to pay that forward! Thanks folks!

Hands down great experience! Brian, CJ, Angie, and all the guys that work there are complete professionals, and know their stuff. The owner, Brian, is extremely easy going, and knows what he is teaching. You will not get this great of a service anywhere else.

Mr. Knowlton is very knowledgeable and passionate about teaching new drivers. His skid car program is huge bonus for students. My son has been driving with me with his permit for nearly two years and I was skeptical that he would find the class interesting but for my own piece of mind, I sent him to through the program. He learned a lot and really enjoyed it. It's interesting to see the change in his driving technique. I'm far more comfortable with his driving skills now. Thanks!

My experience at Be Smart Driving Academy was awesome! I definitely think this was the best way to learn to drive properly and learn all the rules of the road. Staff are very nice and are very good with communication and directions when you're learning how to drive. I would 100% recommend this to anyone looking for a good driving school.

If you are unsure about getting your license, go here! The staff here are just wonderful and you will learn how to not only drive, but how to drive safely! I had the pleasure to work with Butch as my instructor. If you get Greg you are in just as good hands. Both will make sure that at the end of the day, they did everything they can to make you understand how to be better driver. Ms. Lynette is very understanding with scheduling, just be sure to let her know what's going on. She will get you scheduled at a timely manner, even if you work 9-5 (in my case 8-4). Then there is Jason! He is awesome. If he seems stern, he isn't, but he does take his job as a road examiner seriously. Do not hesitate and get scheduled! I passed and got over my fear of driving due to agoraphobia. A huge thanks to the crew for providing such a great service!

Butch was a wonderful teacher, he made me very comfortable and made driving less intimidating. i’m very grateful to have gotten the opportunity to work with him and his team!

Taking this class allowed me to pass the driving test first try, not only was it affordable it was very helpful and makes me feel more confident as a driver. Butch my instructor is very unique and I think that him being unique allowed me to understand him better and for us to have better communication. 10/10 driving school

Thank you so much for all the care you put into teaching me safe techniques on the road. :) I loved the whole process so much more than I ever expected. We had good laughs and great conversation and overall I was really comfortable working with the instructor. A few days after I passed my test (on the first try) I got my very own Subaru Outback! This was all made possible by the instructors at Be Smart Driving Academy.

Instructor did NOT fasten his seatbelt while instructing. He repeatedly berated rather then giving constructive feedback.

This driving school is wonderful. The instructors and every employee are patient, kind, and attentive. They take the time to watch you drive and fix any bad habits they see. They make sure that we are fully prepared to drive safely on the road.They make the lessons a safe place to learn where you don't have to worry about making mistakes. They are there to help you feel better. I really liked the experience, and I would recommend them to anyone. God bless them!

Great experience with Daniel Driving School! Great communication with Tasha on availability with drivers test times and so welcoming in the place itself. My daughter felt safe on her test drive with both corrective and positive feedback. Thank you!

Super easy to work with.

Took my driving test here on my birthday. Practiced and practiced yet failed on the parallel parking portion so was not able to continue. I was extremely upset and began crying yet the instructor continued to lecture me in my car on what I did wrong for quite a while instead of politely leaving. I felt horrible and it absolutely ruined my 18th... PLEASE DONT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE!

ADT did a great job training my kids in the art of driving. They kept the stress out of our house and provided us with confident drivers.

You deserve zero star! If you want to flush $50 for a 2 1/2 mins/ 2 tries of parallel parking this is the place to go. Instructor DIDN'T tell my kid what he was looking for before parallel parking. Weird cone set up for their parallel parking is illegal, misleading and is set up for failure. If you don't believe me, visit the set up at the other 3rd party driving schools. Once you fail the parallel parking you can't proceed with the road test. I felt robbed. Already filed a complaint with dmv. My kid parked just fine. You can't argue with these people.

I had an outstanding experience at Anch Driver Training!! I recently was in Fairbanks & was forced to parallel park. I try to avoid it due to confidence, but there was no where else to park! I was in a place id never been & was really nervous! I just remembered everything my instructor had told me & it whent smooth like butter!! Thank you so much for all the training. They also offer a skids cource that will help in this beautiful winter driving! If you dont know how to drive at all, just need pointers, or need to teach your child how to drive, Anchorage Driver Training is the place to go!! Thank you so much :)
