All of the instructors (Ned, Kelly, Richard and Jason) were very professional and knowledgeable. The amount that they all care and want you to succeed is very motivating! 10/10 would recommend!

I have never driven a semi truck before only in games like ATS AND ETS2 till now I decided to finally get my CDL I was nervous at first trying to find a school they where recommended by some friends at work from the time I called till I passed the process was super easy and friendly the lady’s in the office gave me all the info I needed and told me what I need to get done to start right away and always kept me updated during the process till the day of training once I started training (Ned,Kelly,Jason and Barney the instructor not Barney the rabbit) they where super helpful and patient with me and showing me step by step and trick on how to drive a truck I took 8 day course just to be safe but by the 5th and 6th day they told me I was ready to test they also let me train on a 48 ft trailer which gives you I better perspective of driving a longer trailer (Marvin) was my tester i’m super thankful to him. I arrived late by accident because I snoozed my alarm, but still gave me a chance to do my testing and was super helpful and explain all the instructions for the test after the test I passed and he gave me a more tips on driving I am super thankful to them and the school. I would definitely recommend them to anyone else who wants to get their CDL And if you do get your CDL with them, remember to bring snacks for Barney, the rabbit

I do not recommend if you plan on being an OTR driver or are not being sent there directly from an employer who has already hired you. No company will hire you unless you have 160 hrs of training!!! If I was writing this review directly after graduating I would have given this school five stars. I have a feeling all the five star reviews are written directly after graduating as they really highlight that they would love for you to do that right away! The trainers were awesome! I had one on one training by skilled professional who treated me with respect and compassion and were focused solely on teaching me the skills I needed to start a new career in the trucking industry. That being said… They knew my goal was to start a new career as an OTR Truck driver and said nothing about the fact that no one would hire me without having completed 160 hrs of training. I am a 44 year old mother of 3 with my youngest attending college at the College of Idaho. After going through a divorce from a marriage of 24 years I decided to start a fresh career for myself as an OTR Truck driver. A local in the Caldwell area hands down suggested Idaho CDL Training School and mentioned that they accept the Idaho Launch Grant through the Idaho Works Program that I had just applied for. I went directly to the main office and talked to them and attended an open house at their training yard. I was approved for the grant the following Monday and accepted into the training school. The grant would cover 3500$ of tuition which left me to pay 950$ for the 5 day 30 hour manual transmission course, plus the 250$ 9 hr ELDT online training course and my Permit fee and test fees at the DMV plus 105$ for my DOT Physical. My DOT drug test was included in the already paid tuition. So at this point I am Invested about 1400$ out of pocket with a stipulation from the Grant that I work for an Idaho based company for 1 year or repay the grant. I started classes and as I said before the training was great. I was behind the wheel getting hands on one on one training the entire time I was there. On the day of my final skills and road test a officer from the department of transportation showed up to do a random audit of my school instructor and was present through my entire pre trip, air brake checks, yard skills and followed behind me for my public road skills test. I graduated feeling very confident in starting a new career….until literally no one will hire me because this school is not on anyones approved schools to hire from as they all require 160 hrs of school. When I called my school, they were clearly aware of this Huge problem as they already had a letter typed out to give to their students that were not getting hired stating how employers should consider us despite not having 160 hrs because our training is all one on one BTW training. They knew I would have no chance being hired as and said nothing about companies requiring 160 hrs of training and still convinced me this was the best school. I had to borrow 1500$ from my family and work very hard for a huge huge let down. I have applied to 26 Trucking companies and Local county jobs and also signed up through placement companies and no one will hire me. I am beyond disappointed. Amber

Idaho CDL and my Instructor Jason helped me every step of the way from learning stick for the first time to even driving a semi for the first time. Jason went out of his way to work every possible situation why even thinking outside the box, and putting the training in terms I could understand from practicing skills behind the wheel along with the knowledge to preform the job safely and efficiently. Even when I didn’t believe in myself he kept pushing me tell my only option was to succeed. Thanks to Idaho CDL and my instructor Jason I’m now able to begin my life long career as a CDL Class A driver !

I cannot rave about Idaho CDL Training enough. I had to get a Class A for work and was resigned to paying for it myself (ouch). The staff told me about a grant, which I got, and made the price tag much more affordable for me. The instructors here are fantastic. They know their stuff. During your training, you are one on one with the same trainer. And they work with you and your quirks to figure out your learning style. I was raised to be a perfectionist in things. So I struggled a lot mentally. I wanted to cry a few times out of frustration. But we worked on it and I felt confident. Just make sure you go potty before your test so you're empty and not distracted! Also, bring a towel. Otherwise you'll get swass from sitting on vinyl seats all day. :-) Highly recommend!

My son just finished his drivers training this morning. He is autistic, and we weren’t really sure how things would go for him. I let Rob know the situation beforehand and he was an amazing instructor for him! Definitely went the extra mile to make sure he was ready to go—even had me go on his last drive so I could see what he needed to work on. I 100% recommend Idaho Driving School. This is my second child going through this program and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Thanks Rob!

I went to Idaho driving school not knowing how to drive and after I was done with my drives, I felt confident and safe. My instructor Rob was there for me every every step of the way and gave me advise on how I could improve my driving on every drive I had. He made me feel comfortable behind the wheel and made the experience fun as well! I recommend Idaho Driving School for anyone who is starting to learn and wants to learn how to drive safely as well as defensively. Thanks Rob!

★★★★★ 5/5 (but like… only because I can’t give 500) If you’re not looking for the best time of your life while learning how to drive, then PLEASE avoid Rob at all costs. Seriously. Who wants a driving instructor who actually makes parallel parking less terrifying and throws in sarcasm smoother than a freshly paved road?? Not me, obviously. Rob is way too good at what he does—like HELLOOO, who told him to be helpful and hilarious?? Pick a struggle please sir. Every lesson was filled with just the right mix of “if you were thinking, you wouldn’t have thought that” energy and “beautiful work, this is why you are the favorite” support. It’s like being roasted and mentored all at once. A literal life skill and a comedy show?? Again, too much. Honestly, I wouldn’t even dare to put a price on his class—because it’s priceless, duh. The sarcasm? Chef’s kiss. The encouragement? Unmatched. The driving skills? He practically downloaded them into my brain. (Now I critique my own parents haha!) So yeah, if you like laughing while learning, feeling safe behind the wheel, and not getting bored while figuring out roundabouts—Rob’s your guy. But beware: you will miss him when it’s over. IDAHO DRVING SCHOOL FOR THE WIN! (Rob likes powdered donuts, and I’m the favorite so if he tells you one day that you are the favorite, he is lying).

Did online drivers ed with Idaho Driving School. Rob made it so easy to begin that I could start within 20 minutes of leaving their office. Because I could do it at my own pace, I was able to complete the course by the date I'd like and worked around my schedule perfectly. I have heard tons of other great things about the in class option from fellow students and would have done this option if I was able to work it around my work schedule. Highly recommend this company for any new drivers, you won't regret it.

They did an amazing job educating 2 of my children. Their staff I'd professional, and a pleasure to work with. Their cars are top notch, and the variety they have made my kids excited for their next drive. I highly recommend Idaho driving school if you are looking for an amazing, down to earth relaxed driving school.

My daughter did her behind the wheel training and drivers ed online with Treasure Valley Driving School and I can't recommend them enough. We live in Nampa and we met at a school near our home, my daughter is homeschooled. Bree was her instructor and she is the sweetest and most patient instructor. My daughter absolutely adored her and had fun learning. I'm super impressed that in 3 days (2 hours each day/6 hours total) she went from not being able to drive at all to driving very well in traffic, freeway, downtown Boise conditions and more. The online drivers ed was an excellent program and the extras they include like the parent handbook was very helpful; all at a great price. You definitely want to use Treasure Valley Driving and ask for Bree!

Ed is my instructor and he is really great! Highly recommended! He knows how to adjust with me because of the language barrier. He boosts my confidence in driving here in the US. Just 2 sessions with him and I can finally say that I can drive wherever and whenever.

We had a great experience working with Treasure Valley Driving School. Our daughter only needed the behind the wheel training, and they were extremely accommodating. Used Treasure Valley for my 14.5 year old son Aidan because the Timberline schedule didn't work out for us. He was able to complete the online course work in ~2 weeks and did the driver training immediately following on 3 consecutive days. He thought it was great and enjoyed his instructor Kayla very much. Would definitely recommend to others!

Highly recommend this driving school and instructors. My son had two lessons with Victor and one with Cheryl. They were patient, encouraging, and instrumental in building my son’s driving skills and confidence. The feedback during the driving lesson as well as the detailed report post lesson are incredibly valuable.

I don't keep a Google account under my real name, but still had to come say how awesome my experience was! She helped me get over my years long fear and anxiety of never being able to be a safe driver, and even adapted her teaching methods when I was up front about my issues. I wasn't always the easiest to work with, but she was so patient and helpful in taking a big step to gaining my independence. I've got a lot of practice to do, but I'm so thankful for her and wish her all the best.

I had an amazing experience, my teacher was so nice and helped me with everything I needed help with, she was great. I was able to schedule my lessons fast and easy, they were all fun and exciting, I liked how I started the same route every time it helped a lot. What else is there to say that everyone else hasn't already mentioned? This school and these instructors are an absolute joy to work with. I am involved with newly-arrived Americans who often have limited English and no experience with a car at all and Shelly works with them with such grace, patience, and compassion that I am beyond inspired. I love seeing the faces of the folks who have just had a lesson with Shelly because they are always beaming with happiness and they exude a newfound confidence that extends into all areas of their lives. This school offers much more than driving lessons for the folks I work with, they offer a new freedom and a new confidence that stays with them for the rest of their lives. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Customer service sucks! I called to ask questions about registration the woman kept raising her voice and talking over me and droning on and on without letting me ask m question.

They make no sense literally. One of the worst things is that if you get a question wrong on the test and you have to retake it that’s fine. But it doesn’t tell you what you did wrong so you can’t fix it and you just have to retake it and retake it until you figure out what you did wrong it’s. Hella annoying do not recommend.

I just finished my driver’s education here and it was great! The building is always nice and the cars are in great condition. As someone who had some practice with driving prior to driver’s ed, I feel so much more prepared and knowledgeable for driving with my permit and taking the tests in a few months; I know a lot more about the road now than before I started. Overall a wonderful school

Joke, joke, joke! Tried reaching out to instructor with questions on how I can help my child improve in areas that she was struggling with no response. When I asked him in person the answer I got was that I can’t help her. Instructor had his mind made up before the skills test even began. No help offered even though the struggle was known.

Our driver Julie was great with my daughter. The owner Tanya's follow up with customer satisfaction meant a lot to us also.

Rohan is a tough instructor, a rule stickler, and has a high expectation for his students. This is a great thing because young drivers need tough instruction. He instilled solid lessons for my daughter which I know will help her become a strong driver. During the lessons they traveled far with a variety of obstacles and challenges. Well worth it.

Mr. Rohan is a good teacher. My daughter can point out every "illegal" thing I do when I drive. He knows how to connect and engage with teens but is strict and stern and isn't afraid to correct bad driving.

Mr Rohan was a very good instructor and I loved him very much he was super nice and strict enough to where you knew what you were doing but still funny enough to have fun he told lots of good stories and it was an overall great class would def recommend

Rohan is awesome. He has taught all three of our kids driving and has done an excellent job! I highly recommend Elite Driving School.

Not impressed. My oldest daughter did driving with Idaho Driving School. They were awesome. I went with these gus for my next daughter because they were closer to my house. They didn't teach a lot of driving basics and common sense techniques that the other school did. Overall, I feel like I wasted my money. You get a MUCH better product worth Idaho Driving School for just $20 more. We're definitely NOT doing our driving test with this guy!
