Teacher is a very nice lady and explains things througly and is very accepting in the classroom over all can't thank her enough for how kind her and the guest speakers were as they walk you through everything you need for your license !
This is a wonderful experience with lots of knowledge and misty has a beautiful PowerPoint with lots of good and helpful information, we have cool guest speakers and they all have wonderful power points and really cool pictures of they’ve own, and I’ve learned a lot from this class and I gotta say that I will definitely miss this class and the people I met

My daughter completed her driver's ed course online, but I wish we lived closer so that she could have attended in person. Throughout my daughter's training, Misty was very responsive, polite, and informative. All required certifications were mailed to our home in a timely manner. I truly appreciate this office, as it helped make both my ability to teach and my daughter's ability to learn much smoother. I would recommend this office to anyone seeking a driver's education course, whether for yourself or your teenager. Thank you and continued blessings!

I go to this driving school, the instructors are kind and very funny. informative lessons, i feel properly trained.
I picked up on everything really easily. I have yet to drive, but I have passed the test thus far.
Great classes and driving lessons, all of the staff were so helpful with any and all questions. I couldn't recommend a better place to learn to drive. Madison, Brenda, Ignacio, and Mr Freese were all a pleasure to work with and learn from! 10/10
This is the best driver school ever all neices and my daughters went there one of daughters just ended her class and always had something new she learned and the driving education instructor is so funny and kept you interested and invested in this class . Thank you best price for teaching our drivers to be aware awake and alert.
The instructor Mr Jim Freese is very engaging and helpful. The staff is incredibly kind and understanding of schedules, I highly recommend if you're going to go to driving school do it here. They make the process easy and simple but also really help you understand the fundamentals of driving a vehicle. I'm glad I went here. *Honk honk* 🤡

We've had our two daughters and son in Coach Al's. Here are my observations: - They truly care about your kids being responsible drivers. - Just watch their operations for a night and you'll realize this is a very well run operation. - Coach Eddie is a typical New Mexican. Might slip a cuss word, but speaks his mind and ensures your kids know what's right and wrong on the road. - Communication is fantastic. - I can't imagine a better driving school in ABQ.
Coach Als driving school is the place to be man! The instructors Coach Al and Couch Eddie are great. They help get in at the very least, 7 hours of driving. Not only that but they also have the students work their way up to getting on the interstate highway. There's never been a single accident! I very highly recommend to send your students to this school. They will improve almost what seems immediately, safety and driving wise. I know I did!

Coach Al's Driving School went above and beyond my expectations for a driving school. You can tell all the instructors are passionate about teaching kids how to drive and truly care about them. Take your time choosing a school to teach your child. Dont just pick the cheapest. This is not something you want to overlook quality for lowest price. I trusted them completely with my daughter. I would absolutely recommend this driving school to any of my family and friends.
This is probably the best driving school in Albuquerque you could go to. You definitely learn a lot and the process is super quick and easy. All of my other friends are still getting their permit because usually they’re driving school takes 7months or longer if you are doing it at valley or in any aps school . They all have really interesting stories and the coaches are super supportive and i felt like i was in really good hands the whole time . Coach Eddie is really nice and I enjoyed driving with him . I forgot her name but the lady who reads the book and shows us the videos was super sweet and I enjoyed listening to all of her stories! She was always happy to help or answer any questions ! Anyways yeah I recommend it!

This driving school is solid! The instructors really know their stuff and make you feel comfortable behind the wheel. They break down everything step-by-step, so even if you're nervous, you'll get the hang of it. Plus, they're patient and don't rush you, which is a huge win. Definitely recommend if you want to learn to drive the right way.

I love this class, I thought learning the rules of the road was going to be difficult but the way they teach makes it very easy to understand. I would recommend this class to anyone. Driving school seems to give 'good enough' instruction. They also offer your teen five extra points on their permit test if they leave a five star Google review. They mention this right before they write their test. So of course a vulnerable teenager is going to do it. I think this is a terrible misuse of power, frankly it makes me question whether students are actually able to pass tests with them, since they're giving bonus points for reviews. In-car hours are very difficult to schedule, and I believe they rely on this so families give up trying to get the in-car hours that they paid for.

Great driving school. My son had a great time with the classroom instruction and drive times. The confidence he has shown because of the knowledge he received is great to see. As a parent I am confident he will be a safe driver.
Best school in Albuquerque. I recommend this school to all my friends! I work a lot and go to school and they helped me get thru the process easily with no stress to get my license. Teachers were really nice and helpful.
I mistakenly called NM Defensive Driving and they were rude and unprofessional. When I called Achievement, I was delighted how friendly and professional they were over the phone. They treated you well and were very helpful. They made sure you knew what was needed to comply with your traffic violation and were very non-judgmental. In these times , it is even more appreciative to have an experience like this. Thanks so much!
After reading so many rave reviews, I was quite disappointed with the quality of this school. Nowhere on their website did it mention classes were held in a classroom on the St. Pius X High School campus (private Catholic school). When we arrived, I was looking for a stand alone building with the school's name. There was only an old sign propped on the ground against the building. The facility was built in the 1950s timeframe and does not have air conditioning. The classroom was crammed with as many chairs as possible and the curriculum consisted of multiple videos from YouTube (ads included). My son said the "state of the art" simulators were not realistic or very effective; the video on the screen did not accelerate or slow down when using the gas or brake pedals and the instructors who were supposed to be grading their sim drive weren't attentive. Additionally, many students in the classroom were disruptive/rude and the instructors allowed the behavior to continue for the entire course without intervention (with the exception of one time near the end of course). The vehicles used for instructional driving appeared to be recent models in nice condition. My son has not had the opportunity to drive with an instructor yet as he just completed the classroom portion.
Both of my teenagers used Achievement and we are so happy with the service, instructors, response time of Sherry, communication and the ease of everything. Would definitely recommend Achievement Driving school.

Affordable to say the least, teacher's are experienced and reasonable. They acutely prepare beginners for the dangers, law, and safety precautions of driving. Even though they are excellent teachers organization seems to not be a priority. Waiting for several hours in an empty waiting room to take a test on a computer that isn't being used, and then being told to come back tomorrow is a time waster and incredibly inconvenient for students and their parents.
Very professional and they give you options on how to pay.
Both of my kids went here for their driving lessons. It's really convenient having it so closer to Eldorado HS.

I just went to the worst experience ever in my life. I never thought this can happen to me. I've seen this happen on TV on YouTube on Facebook. But I never thought that would happen to me. That experience was so embarrassing over a parking lot. Some lady demanding for me to move a parking lot. That doesn't have any signs saying that is private or Reserve after I went down and I talk to the owner and he Treat me even worst God would do judgment No one shouldn't be treated like that especially a public business...

Not feeling good at all for signing my child up for this school. Can't call it a driver's school because they don't teach how to drive. Name should be changed to Chamisa School of driver's instruction. Everyone is nice and courteous but that doesn't matter since I am left to teach my child how to drive and I have not been trained to teach someone how to drive. This is one of the worst decisions I have made. Going to end up having to pay extra for someone to teach my child how to drive. So very disappointed. If your child has no experience at all with driving this is not the school for them.
This school is worth it because they know how you learn best money I have ever spent

Alfred is a very unprofessional and rude. If you ask any questions at all he takes it as a personal attack on his intelligence. He yells and attacks teen age girls just for asking to get their certificate which was rightfully earned. Wasted money with no refunds. DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE!
Paid and never got the paperwork. Nasty attitudes, zero customer service and they rip off their clients

This company is fraud. Don't trust the owner Lisa, she promises big and will not give time or classes to your kids to drive e.g. my daughter has done only 2 classes in last 3 months that too in night. I contacted them repeatedly to schedule drive times & they would text back saying they would call to reschedule at a certain time though no one ever did. Don't believe them as they flip and speak lie. I opened the chargeback.
Lisa is lovely. She's been so helpful and great to work with.
Jose has SEVERE anger issues, he is always so rude to my daughter for no reason and even rolls his eyes at us whenever I come to schedule a drive time since they don’t answer the phone they tell you to call. Yes I understand you’re on a time crunch, but there is no need to be so rude to your customers who are keeping you in business. Thank you, next.

Trust the reviews! This place is horrible! They will fail your drivers test and then offer practice tests. they are a scam and abuse their power, i took the test here and failed and then went somewhere else and passed with no extra training. They will try and scam you DO NOT GO HERE the workers are the rudest people ever and dont care at all about their customers. What a awful place.
At first I was apprehensive to send my son here, because of all the reviews but I am very pleased to say that our experience was very positive my son enjoyed the class and Mr Mcginnis was an excellent instructor.
The owner is very opinionated and argumentative, he made me cry and shamed me in front of the class. I found Ryan to be much more considerate and affable instructor. He would also call me "Hun" which made me very uncomfortable and fairly unprofessional.
One of the best places to learn how to drive at. Everyone will be pretty awesome to you as long as you follow simple traffic laws. Had a very fun experience.
Sent my son through this class. VERY disappointed with scheduling times and class instructors. Were not helpful from Dave McGinnes down to the pwrson answering the phone. Iwner is flat out rude and obnoxious. Have 2 more kids who will NOT be going through this non customer based oriented organization.
