This is the best school in Baton Rouge for the price that I have seen. Ms. Dee was my teacher she did a great job explaining everything. I paid $350 and the class was 6 hour and I had to come back to do the driving test. I was very happy with my experience with the staff.🌸
They are the best in town. The people here are all very friendly. I enjoyed the class. The instructor goes over all the rules in the class and as a result I was able to breeze through the test easily. Coupled with the fact they offer pickup for the road classes which the other schools I reached out to didn’t.

I have contacted several owners of driving schools before I start learning, and Stan was the best owner, who responded very quickly to my inquiry. Gary was my 1st instructor and his lectures were very informative. Gary knows a lot of stories that we do wrong while driving and they were helpful to pass my written exam with 97%. Brian was my driving instructor and he was excellent and super efficient. I was so comfortable with Brian and I honestly felt like my father was teaching me driving. I got 95% for my road skill test and completed the entire course last week. I am an international student and a PhD candidate at LSU and I highly recommend “A Driving School of Baton Rouge” for all the international students as well as domestic students. Thank you very much dear Stan, Gary and Brian.

I did my research before I went to this school and I feel so lucky for having made the decision. They are extremely helpful, considerate and will wrap up all the driving requirements within a week if needed, unlike any other school in BR!! And you pay at the end which is great! As for the driving class itself, Brian is an amazing instructor. He's probably the best in the business and it'd be hard to find anyone better than him. Even though the school is a bit far for most people, I would recommend making the effort to go here. You can wrap things up in 3 days if you want. I finished everything in 4 days within the same week.

The teachers and staff here are wonderful. Personally, my teachers in other schools might target a student or group of students. Not here. The teachers are considerate and only want the best for the students. The space here is clean, with a highly sanitized environment that makes you feel comfortable. The group projects make the class immersive and exciting. That’s all I have to say, except that I just really like it. A very well deserved 5 stars.

The entire staff at ACT is incredibly nice! They made my daughter’s experience so special! Mr. Kim is God sent, he had so much patience with my daughter as she was driving with him. My daughter’s confidence grew stronger with each and every drive. The staff made her classroom experience fun and educational at the same time! I would give this company ten stars if I could. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a place to go to learn how to drive. Thank you so much! She’ll be back to finish up with the road skills test in the near future!
I really enjoyed the class. Despite the price we had to pay, it was mostly entertaining (especially during group projects). I was nervous during the day of the test but it didn't turn out to be too bad after all. 5 stars all around!

Drive Dat’s atmosphere was one that included both learning and also safeness due to COVID. The company took necessary actions to ensure each of the students, including myself, were safe and followed state protocol by wearing a mask and social distancing of six feet. I was able to learn how to be a responsible and safe driver during the in classroom portion and was able to quickly grasp how to be a knowledgeable motorist behind the wheel. Thanks to Mr. Mike, my driving instructor, I was able to obtain my license as soon as possible and learned how to drive on the interstate. I would recommend Drive Dat to anyone who wishes to learn in a calm and collective atmosphere and who wants to work with individuals who strive to teach safe driving practices.
Drive Dat is a very reputable driving school that stands behind their work. The driving instruction is very thorough and they want to see you succeed and want you to be a good well informed driver. I had two different drivers for my instruction, Mr. Mike and Mr. Kevin. If you're looking for someone who is more soft spoken get Mr. Kevin. He's patient and will explain everything to you as you drive. He's the car instructor(Nissan Altima I believe) However if you do not have a lot of time to get your license and are older and can take a bit of teasing and hold a conversation while driving definitely get Mr. Mike. He is very animated and direct with his teaching. If you do something wrong, like Kevin, he'll simply say what it was and never to do it again. He has stories about everything and his instructing is top notch as well. But, if you are leery about driving an SUV get someone else. He only does his driving instruction in an SUV. I was able to take my 8 hours of driving instruction and passed my test on the first try so these guys are definitely the way to go!!!
Drive Dat Academy is the best place to go when learning how to drive. They helped me improve on my driving, pointed out mistakes that I made and helped me understand how to perform specific maneuvers the right way. They used videos to provide the best examples of specific maneuvers rules of the road. They were very patient and understanding during the learning process and sought to improve my ability and knowledge of driving. I appreciate them for everything they do and will definitely refer friends and family to them.
I enjoyed the entire process of being able to pursue getting a license. In the middle of a pandemic this office managed to get me in a class, get a TIP , and get me on the road driving within 2 months. Not bad with all that is going on. Everyone there is so lovely, professional, and it was so worth my money. This is the place to go, its hands on, they actually care about you as a person, and they are the sweetest! I wish I could rate 10 starts because I would. Mr.Mario, Ms. Vivian, Mr. Mike, and Mr.Kevin all provided joy and knowledge throughout the entire process of me learning to drive and receiving my license. This is an amazing Driving School!!

I highly recommend Crescent City Driving School to anyone who wants to become a licensed driver. I knew almost nothing about driving and was so anxious but that soon changed. The instructors are patient and very welling to work with you and make sure that you are comfortable with driving. They are super straight to the point. It was a very easy process that only took me a week. I am now confident behind the wheel because of them. If I had to take the course again I would do it at Crescent City Driving School with no doubt.

I never leave online reviews, but this is by far the most responsive driving school in the area. I was looking for a class to complete my licensing requirements, and Crescent City Driving School was very professional and efficient. The classroom session was easy to sign up for and well done, and the behind-the-wheel instruction was very clear and patient. I had never driven on the interstate before, and they helped me overcome the nerves I had. By the end, I felt confident and ready for my road test. I can't recommend Crescent City Driving School enough.

This is probably the best driving school in New Orleans. It's cheaper than the average driving school and you'll be finished after only a couple of days if you pay attention and demonstrate you're a good driver. The instructors are very professional and courteous people that'll get their students driving in no time. Very happy that I chose Crescent City Driving.

I combed through all the different local driving schools trying to pick one. I was getting my louisiana license at 33 years old and hadn't driven much in the past 15 years. They were really nice on the phone and were able to fit me in fast and work with my schedule. I am SO GLAD I ended up choosing this school! Trevor, my driving instructor, was SO CHILL, it really helped with whatever anxiety I had about coming back to driving and helped me focus on the road. We had interesting conversations during the driving hours that helped it go by fast and feel like less of a chore. The classroom class was also surprisingly less boring than I expected, they've put together a great power point presentation that really sums everything up. They help make sure all your paperwork is in order and then you just go to the DMV and get your pic taken and have your license! If you are trying to decide between driving schools like I was I really can't recommend them enough!

I highly recommend Rules of the Road on Monterrey! Every staff member we came in contact with was extremely friendly and professional. The teacher was thorough in her instruction. I have no doubt that our daughter is confident in what she learned there. This will be #1 on my list of recommendations for driver’s ed.
Great school at a reasonable price. Ms. D is awesome. She goes over all test questions and what you need to know. If the class is small you can finish in about 4 and half hours.

Ms d was amazing at teaching the class I comprehended everything she taught and when the test came it was super easy. The ladies at front counter are very sweet and will do possible anything to make you feel welcome. I went here b/c I had received a ticket and I wanted it to stay off my insurance. Mrs. Sharon and her crew are amazing, I love their spirit and attitudes. Breaux’s driving school has been a great experience. Mrs. Patrice has been a great teacher and has made us feel so welcomed and comfortable while learning.
Driving school unprepared for an influx of students during the summer. Instructor was late on the first day, so the kids just hung out in front of the building. The second day, class times were changed the night before the class, causing my kid to be just hanging out in front of the building AFTER class. We've been unable to schedule drive time and we're 6 weeks out since the in-class portion. Owners do not value their customers time. When I asked to have a refund for the driving portion I was told they would only partially refund me since it was purchased as a package. Then said that the scheduling for drive Time next month would be posted by this weekend. Leaves me little choice but to either TRY to schedule with them, or lose money in this transaction and take him to another school to complete the course. Very unprofessional and frustrating to be on month 3 of trying to get kiddo licenced. Edit: Communication attempts via voicemail and student portal were unsuccessful. We have been trying to speak to someone since the end of July when we were told his account would be updated and he'd be able to book drive time. Not only did they only just update his account in the last 2 weeks, but there were only 3 days available for driving in August, all of which were already booked. One star review because I have definitely had better experiences elsewhere. If owners were truly concerned with the satisfaction of their customers experience with their service they are offering they would answer phones they would respond to emails they would update the kids accounts and make sure that they have drivers available to provide said service, and teachers who show up at the times parents have worked their schedules around - not wait until they get bad reviews and requests for refunds. Edit #2: it is now two weeks out since I have requested a refund for the driving portion and to have my child's paperwork gathered so that we may get his driving time done elsewhere. I have sent emails through the student portal and gotten no response!! This is absolutely ridiculous. Edit#3 Three weeks+ and still no refund or any communication from the company at all. (Other than responding to my original Google review) I will be filing a complaint with the OMV. We now have less than a month left to get his paperwork, refund and try to schedule at another company. I wish I could take away the one star rating and give zero stars.

We needed to cancel our date due to the bad advice about the process to receive a TIP card, from Bass driving school, after paying for a spot with the driving school. They retaied a $50 fee for processing only 3 days from the initial call and over a month away from the class date. None of this was explained to us when we contacted them. It was explained that they have to pay people to process the refund. That was also not explained to us in an conversation.
The school is very accommodating and professional. The classroom instructors and behind the wheel instructors all made my grandson feel comfortable and gave him the confidence and knowledge that he needed to drive safely. He received his driver's license today and is a safe and considerate driver thanks to this school. I look forward to using them again when my other two grandsons are old enough to learn to drive.
i took the adult class and i recommend this school to anyone who ask! the teachers are the best and really care about actually teaching you what you need to know and didn’t make the class a dreadful experience. mr randy was the best driving instructor. he actually cares about his students and makes them feel comfortable, making sure they get taught what they’re supposed to!

After being too scared of learning to drive for decades, and not needing to while living in London and New York City, I finally took the plunge and passed on the first try! My whole experience at Victor Manning was perfect. The reception staff was friendly and informative and got me fast appointments for each step of the process. Daphne gave the theory lecture. She taught the whole driving manual in six hours, after which I found it easy to answer the necessary questions. She is wonderful at imparting a lot of information succinctly and even with some humor to help the stress. Manuel was my driving instructor. He is a fantastic instructor, who was able to teach me well while also alleviating my intense fear of driving. He is very knowledgable, kind and patient. Within two hours he had me relatively comfortable driving safely in traffic, on the interstate and over the Mississippi River, all of which had been intensely nervous about. I so appreciate his competence, warmth and humor helping me through a process I found quite challenging.
Very professional. I am happy I chose Victor Manning. Prompt to answer calls and schedule all appointments. I was able to finish the class, BTW and test all within 4 weeks of my first call. The instructors are very nice and helpful. The examiner was great as well and everyone is amazing! Happy team indeed.

Learning with Freddie was an incredible experience. His enthusiasm and positive energy made every lesson something to look forward to. He didn’t just teach me very important information for driving, he also completely changed the way I approached learning, helping me build confidence and stay focused. When I first started I was really anxious since I just turned 18 so I had to take the shorter class. Luckily I got Daphne as my instructor and she was the BEST teacher for the written test. I just learned 100+ pages of driving laws in a couple hours and passed! For my 8 hours of on the road driving lessons I had two different teachers. My first 4 hours (they are split into 2 days) I had Mr.Calvin, he was really nice and taught me how to get control of the wheel and how to turn. My personal favorite teacher though, was Mr.Darryl! I had him for my 2nd day of driving practice and driving with him was kinda fun. He’s extremely calm, picks nice places for beginners to practice driving, and teaches you rules that you don’t learn in class and how to look out for things like listening for railroads if you can’t see them. He was the only reason I was comfortable driving on highways and interstates being a brand new driver. I ended up passing my road test with Mr.Manuel as well! He’s a great road test examiner, he was calm, funny, and really doesn’t want you to be nervous during the test. Great school, and great teachers. The only downside of this school is that sometimes it’s hard to get in touch with them, but it is worth it.

This is the best driving school. Teachers and staff are very friendly. Mr.Dennison was my road instructor and he was awesome. His instructions are so much perfect that will build up confidence in you. And its cheaper than most driving school out there. Its perfect. I completed my adult driving lessons with Koala Driving Academy and had an excellent experience. The pre-licensing class session on November 2 was well organized, and my behind-the-wheel lessons were promptly scheduled and completed by November 14. I also passed my driving test the same day. Mr. James Newman and Mr. James Plauche(Coach) were professional, accommodating, and instrumental in refining my driving skills, particularly with turns and roundabout navigation. Mr. Chris Clark was clear and helpful in explaining scheduling and ensuring my needs were met. He also provided confidence-building advice during the behind-the-wheel instruction. Ms. LaShaundra Kelly provided informative guidance before and clear instructions during the driver’s test, which greatly supported my performance. Overall, the process was smooth and efficient. I highly recommend Koala Driving Academy.

1000/10 recommend!! I just turn 18 and my biggest fear was taking drivers ed, but I did my research and settled on here. And it’s truly a blessing. Mrs. Cynthia is the best teacher out there. Not once I felt overwhelmed in her class. And the environment and people was really nice. Everything was clean, you will truly learn a lot but also enjoy the class. Thank you guys so much!

I took my driving licence from this school. Though it charged 55 dollar more than some other options, I can say confidently that it was worth it. Especially the instructor Mr. Terry Bell, a very kind fatherly figure, will teach you by giving his best. Though only the practice lasted for 8 hours, I feel like I learnt a lot from him. Only problem is the distance. It was very far from where I lived. But if you have friend to give you a ride, then it is not a problem at all.
The staff was wonderful and vey knowledgeable.
I see this place has plenty of good reviews but this was not my experience. I called this past Friday at 4:45 p.m. and whoever answered that phone should definitely not answer it again. I called to find out exactly how much they teach when teaching people to drive. I explain to the lady that I have two sons, age 18 and 19 and that they've never been behind the wheel. For some reason she got angry and told me they don't teach adults. She basically told me that adults do not receive driver's education and that the DMV knows this. She kept yelling I have to teach my sons to drive before I bring them there. Now I may not be the smartest man in the world but something about her attitude made me feel like she had to be ignorant. For one, you don't talk to somebody who's about to pay you $1,000 that way. For two, you mean to tell me there's no where an 18-year-old can go to learn to drive? I called Stop and Go this morning and they said the lady was completely wrong and they don't know where she got this information from and that my sons just needed to go to an adult driver's education program. The craziest part about is that when I'm looking at this website it clearly makes it seem like they do train adults to drive. Whoever answered that phone at 4:45 p.m. Friday evening, needs to be trained on what the program is actually about. I don't know where we are going to go but it definitely won't be here

I had a great experience learning to drive with Driving Force Academy. The instructors were patient and professional, making the learning process comfortable and stress-free. I felt supported every step and gained confidence behind the wheel. Highly recommend!
My minor child took the class first week of July, after class we had to wait till the end of the month for the 15th birthday to drive. Repeatedly calling week after week, 5 months later I was told that my minor child who was in their custody; who's rules clearly stated that they are not allowed to leave: tells me my child skipped out on the last 2 days of classes and cannot do the driving portion. Remember they wait to tell me this 5 months later. Still to this day not answering or returning phone calls, doesn't want to fix their incompetent mistakes nor give me my money back so I can find a school that is responsible, which clearly this veteran own school is not 🚫 and wanted to say come back at the end of January. I paid in June , I should not have to wait to January. I will continue to leave this review until my paid services are met or I receive my money back to find a better school.
I give a zone star, they won't give me a interpreter because "IM DEAF" and they told me to get my own interpreter. it required by LAW of ADA "Americans with disabilities". DO YOUR RESEARCH ABOUT ADA BEFORE SOMEONE SUE OR FIRED YOUR JOB!
I came to class on a Saturday and paid 100 dollars less then any other school in the area and took my 6 hour class. Then I took my four 2 hour behind the wheel tests Tuesday through Friday and took my actual road skills test on Sunday. It took me 8 days in total to get my license. The service was amazing because of how respectful the drivers was. It was a amazing experience and recommended it to all adults that need there license.
Great place! Would totally recommend for anyone needing classes. The teacher is amazing and the staff are so sweet and kind.

It is a small family owned driving school. So we spent a lot of our class time talking about her personal life, which took away from the book. One day, she even left us at the school by ourselves for over an hour while she went to run personal errands. She told us not to tell, cause they could get in trouble for that. Then there was the drivers lessons. I had no prior driving experience, which I expressed to them on my paperwork and in person. While they were patient with me, it was clear they did not know how to teach me. Then there was my driving exam. Not only did we get in an accident, when a man hit the back of the car while we were at the red light. I learned that the driving instructor car did not have insurance. So, the instructor let it go, and had me finish my exam in a car without insurance and without getting me any medical attention. He asked if I was okay, and had me finish the test. So if you’re going to go to this driving school, it’s best you already know how to drive, and have your own vehicle. It’s not really for kids.
Very professional, make sure you are on time as you would for work! Mrs. D is exceptional and a ray of sunshine and Mr. Moore will make sure you know how to drive. I'm more than happy I chose this driving school.
This driving school is honestly the best one in the city, you all should really check it out and I highly recommend it. The workers and people there are very friendly, they are very helpful and are great teachers I learned a lot here and you all should come check it out and bring anyone who’s interested in learning or getting their license.
I wasted an entire Saturday at this place. The instructor, Ms D, spent 2 and a half hours preaching and telling personal stories. After finishing, she began to judge us for our life choices and give unsolicited personal advice. I should have expressed my dissatisfaction at the time but chose to remain silent. I take responsibility for my part in not speaking up within those 2 and a half hours. I understand that there are plenty of people who would have been touched by her words and that maybe her words were not meant for me. After I finished the class, I decided not to return for the driving portion. I notified her the very next day. I assumed that since I was giving over a month and a half notice, I could, at the very least, not be charged an inconvenience fee. Sadly, that's not the case. I will say one thing. She does make sure you pass the class. While I did not need help during the test, she was giving answers and support to the other students as they took the test. After speaking with her on the phone, I realized I may have lost my cool and spoke over her. I do regret that because I believe she is a good person, and that's not how I speak to people, but I was so frustrated that I lost my temporary and hung up. The fact that she not only wouldn't give me a partial refund but also charged an inconvenience fee made me very annoyed.

This business is not concerned about you passing your driving test. Truly, their objective is to make you come back and pay them more money for supplemental lessons. They are only after your money(I paid them a whopping total of 600$ for class, online test, driving practice, and one supplemental lesson). My driving practice instructor told me to use an extremely dangerous and obsolete driving technique called the cross-over method, which no sensible driver uses today. And they let an 88-year-old man give me their driving test, which is completely unfair when you consider the driving instruction he is providing. You have higher chances of passing the driving test at Nola Driving Institute like I did myself.
We had a great experience with the school. Thorough, patient teachers and quality instruction. My teen son is an excellent driver.
An excellent well run place with great staff and knowledgeable instructors. I felt happy that I went there for my license. Highly recommended.

My son received a lot of great information Ms Taylor did a awesome job teaching the class she's very detailed and professional however he did not receive any driving experience strictly hwy driving no interstate or in town driving. For the price I think they should receive more interstate and city driving time..

They are very unprofessional, the entire team has an attitude with the exception of Ms.Taylor. This a great example why family members shouldn't be working for you. My daughter took the driving class over the xmas break, she also took the written park of the test which she passed. She is still waiting to take the driving part of the test. This is so very sad until its unbelievable. Never ever will I send my other kids there. The only faith you can have in this company is that for sure they will take your money and then play games for their services.

Horrible. Drivers Ed portion was ok but when we tried to call to schedule the driving part to get the actual license months later the instructor never returned one phone call after 4 calls and voicemails over a week period. Also sent two text which were read but never responded. Ended up having to go to Victor Manning to do the driving part which made our frustration even worse
Drivers Ed class was great for my son. Tried scheduling the drivers test to get license and it took multiple calls and texts to get the appt. Scheduled. Once the appt was scheduled we waited 1 1/2 hours for him to show up. Not a good way to run a business. Hopefully we are more successful with Drivers Test at Victor Manning.
Stay away from this place! My son took driver’s ed back in July 2024 and still hasn’t been scheduled for the driving part. Talked to the owner several times and I am now being told they are catching up with drivers from 2023!!!!! And no date in sight for my son to complete the course!!! Ridiculous!

Very good school
The owner with the glasses talked on the phone in his language the whole time while in the car. Stopped at a few places so he could hang out with his friends...sure I can drive, but not feeling the people at the places we stopped at
Tiger was decent. The staff is very sweet and nice. However, there were some things I didn't exactly enjoy. I paid about $400 and some change for this class, and at my orientation they informed us that it would be about 2 months before we could start our driving hours. I wasn't very happy about that (especially since I would be making 17 soon and I was hoping it would be quick and fast to get my license). However, I guess it is understandable since they were backed up from the flood, I just wish this would have been somewhere on the website. Additionally, since I paid around $400 for these classes, I was expecting more than just proctors sitting and reading off a PowerPoint slide to me. They would also give us frequent "breaks" (sometimes 15 minutes, or even an hour). I don't dislike Tiger, but I could have gone somewhere cheaper and been in and out. I finished my classes March 18th (one day after my 17th birthday) and as of May 22nd, I have not started my driving hours (or even gotten a call to schedule the hours). I guess I should've just gone somewhere else, but this was closer to my house. Just a heads up to everyone. Once the wait clears up I'm sure this won't be so bad.
Do NOT go here!!! The woman driver, Renee, who worked with my daughter, appeared more nervous than my daughter. She appeared incompetent to us. She kept riding the break and giving my daughter mixed signals about what to do while driving, such as not stopping quick enough for stop signs then telling her she was slowing down too far back for stop signs. This just confused her more!! She gave my husband and I incorrect information about how our child was driving and did NOTHING to help her learn to drive!! We have spent more time UNDOING the damage done. We just found out a friend of my daughter had the SAME experience. I have 2 more children and they will be going somewhere else and we will be warning EVERYONE we know about this terrible experience!
