We signed all 3 of our children up for Driver’s Ed with Behind the Wheel. Our youngest is a more cautious person and needs more time to ease into new experiences. She was able to pass Driver’s Ed and felt that the extra day of class time and the 4 driving sessions were just what she needed. It was a great experience for her. Her teacher Mr. Neff was very positive and encouraging.
After a couple of driving lessons with Matt and taking him out on the road myself, I can see that my son has learned a lot. Matt did an excellent job teaching him, and we’re planning to schedule more driving hours to help him gain additional experience. Highly recommend this program!
My experience at behind the wheel drivers ed was amazing. The two days of class time was super helpful and the guest speakers were great. At first, i was super nervous to start driving but we slowly progressed from parking lots, to neighborhoods, to main roads and then to the highway. It was so much easier than I thought it would be and my instructor, Mr Maddock, was an incredible instructor. He explained everything to me and made driving on the road stress free. I recommend behind the wheel to anybody, especially those with driving anxiety. It would have taken me so much longer to start driving if it wasn't for this program and now I can freely drive anywhere with 100% confidence.
The best Drivers Ed anyone can ask for. The instructors were amazing, and were some of the nicest people in the world. My instructor was Len Friedman, and if I ever had to, I don’t think I would ever find an instructor as great as him. What a legend.
Mr. Maddock was awesome! Helped give my the confidence he was needing to get behind the wheel. 10/10 recommend and will be sending my other kiddo back in a few years.

A great school where the instructors are very patient and provide great information to help you learn the ropes of driving. I had Claude and he was wonderful and very patient with any mistakes that were made. The entire process took some time to allow you practice between each session. The written part of the entire process was easy to understand and Seth was very clear about what would be on the test. I highly recommend this school if you are in a situation like I was where there was no one around you to teach you how to drive. Their tips were very helpful for me and gave me the opportunity me build up my confidence and learn from my mistakes.

Jeff Roden was our son's driving instructor. He was amazing and really helped my son with his driving confidence, especially on the highway. His parking is much better now too. Because of Jeff, my son taught me a better way to check my blind spot safely. We are very pleased with our experience!!!
We had a wonderful experience with Schuetz Driving school. I particularly appreciated our driving instructor, Justin . He not only did a great job with my son on the techniques of driving, but he was very friendly, and I felt totally safe, letting my son drive with him. I will definitely use Schuetz again with my next new driver.

The class was very helpful. Instructors patiently walked us through all the necessary things we needed to know with regards to driving .The school provides students with both breakfast and lunch during class sessions. Buckle up also makes it easier and comfortable for international students. We were given a ride to and from buckle up for both instructions class and driving portion. The documentation was explained carefully and easily to us. The driving part was also very easy since the instructors are gentle yet firm when showing you what to do. Definitely recommend this to everyone learning driving.
Ms j is very good instructor, she explained the lesson very well, I learn a lot about the rules and regulations of the roads, the school is so good and the lunch is provided by the school, Driving instructor jenet is so kind, lot of patience and she teaches me how to be a safe driver. Overall it was the great experience with buckel up school, I highly recommend to my friends and my family.
I had a fun time, despite the long class period. The fun and interactive class with ms. J made it go by faster. I wish she wasn’t on maternity leave so she could be my instructor because she was so patient and understanding. (I also loved Jeanette, her mom because she was also very sweet and genuinely excited for all of us) I’m glad we decided to come here :)))
The instructor has patience, we have a good class Miss J she take the class very well and we enjoy with the games and effective interactive learning. My 6 hours driving with Janet was great, now I can drive safely and confidently, the school is great and we have pizza, donut and drinks for lunch and breakfast. Highly recommended 👍
Both of the teachers were awesome, and the way Ms. J taught us what we need to know helped me a lot and it also helped me remember things well. The food provided by Ms. Janet was also very nice and I'm grateful for it all. :)

My daughter is 17 . And just a day ago she found out she was taking this class. We were so nervous she wouldn’t pass and we’d just wasted 400$ . Have a little faith in your kiddo. I was a student of the Kennedy Driving schools and the instructor was nice and funny and just a great person to be around but the school it’s self is also great. The school teaches you everything you need to know so you are prepared and ready to go out there and drive while still being safe.
Jake was a very nice & amazing instructor. He is someone you can ask if you have any questions whether your driving or getting your license and don’t know who to call. I definitely recommend going to Kennedy driving school.

Hello, I’m Aubrie M. I had Jacob Smith as my driving instructor, he was really nice and I have debilitating (severe) social anxiety and my anxiety was of course there on the first day I was meeting a new person! But he’s really easy to communicate with and he gives instructions very clearly which really helps. But anyways my Social Anxiety was barely even there, it was basically non-existent! And I had a great time driving with him, he kept reassuring me I was doing good which encouragement really helps with my anxiety I didn’t overthink anything, I wasn’t stressed while driving at all.

Attending the school was a great experience. If you listen to the instructors and apply the lesson you will be able to obtain your license. I am not very good at classroom work and memorizing things, but they do a great job at making it easy for someone like me to reach my goal of obtaining my CDL. I absolutely loved this school! I was very anxious about starting to drive, and they made sure i was comfortable before moving on to new things. If me or the instructor didn't feel like i was ready for my test, they were willing to move my last lesson so i had time to practice more and wouldn't have to get a re-test. They were also A LOT more friendly than other schools i contacted, which made me feel so much better. Thank you so much for helping me get my license!!

Per the State of Kansas and Missouri students should have 50 hours of drive time and 10 of those at night. So when schools offer 6 hours of driving time for students to meet what the Kansas requires them to offer to be a driving school. I do not understand how anyone thinks they will be able to drive and not practice, when you go to work or school every place takes time and experience for you to be able to do it properly. While we strive to do the best we can to make everyone's experience the best we can, we are always listening to our students and work to improve their experience with us. Please remember that every person learns at different levels and students are to listen when you are being taught during our program and the reason why is that cars can be driven safely or dangerously and that is why we have even in our contracts and website . We can only change certain things with the program because they have to be approved per the state. We are working on new online systems to be make it easier for our students. So please call and ask us for information before reading one or two reviews. Sometimes there is more than one side to a story.

This is an amazing program for people that have test anxiety, they do their best to accommodate each and every person especially in this pandemic. I am shocked that this school has such high reviews bc my bf went here, took him forever to get a hold of the owner for help, he has even recorded class and I've listen to it and it's just the teacher talking about him growing weed, playing solitaire, listening to music, he's talked about how the owners have had to wake him up before and that they don't care what he does. He had gotten annoyed when the class asked to many questions. All they were given was a manual , no powerpoints, no videos, nothing to help, you basically teach yourself... so if you don't already have a basic understanding of driving not the school for you, it's essentially independent studying with someone non stop talking about unimportant things. Semi have no air conditioner instructor have left while students were driving. Your suppose to have your DOT physical taken the first week before you drive, he didn't get his after 3 weeks but was driving his first wk. I wish i could give negative stars!

I went through driving instruction with Joanna and had a great experience. I was in a circumstance where I needed to get up to speed on driving to prepare for job relocation (driving experience is low), and she helped me get acclimated on the routes I need to take. I am now driving without any issues.

Class might seem long, but it ie very worth it, I came out with a 98% on the test, but only because I rushed it. Take your time on the test, and get enough sleep before hand, then you will be good to go.
Absolutely love this class and passed with a score of 96% and my driving instructor Garrett was extremely patient with me and had a a lot of faith in me to pass the class 100%a lot of faith in me to pass the class 100%

Mike (the owner) is Amazing~ cannot say enough about the positive experience myself and my 15 year old daughter along with her friends had @ Wichita Driving School, Inc. Mike is a hands on owner and works to make sure you receive everything and more than you were expecting!! 12 months later now using Mike again for defensive Driving to lower our insurance on a teenage driver!!!! Love this place!! thanks for the recommendation to save money Mike!

Have called multiple times and days, an no one is returning calls. I try to fill out the "contact us" form and it won't fill in any blanks. Poor customer service. I hope I get return call before driving class that is scheduled for Sat.
They were fantastic! My son had some accommodations that were needed and they were met with no hesitation and understanding. Tim has been an amazing instructor and we are so happy we enrolled our son there. Worth every penny!
Mark and tim were such amazing teachers they made this whole experience as painless and uplifting as possible! Tim made the initial class day go by like a breeze and kept everything real and understandable. And Mark was such an amazing driving instructor, he kept the drives comfortable, calm, and well guided. This is the worst driving school ever , they’re scheduled is so booked up you have to wait months to month to meet with your instructor and it has to be the same one, let alone you don’t even get a refund or discount , it’s not worth the money, you might as well go to the dmv or a different driving school to get your license I recommend kckcc drivers ed
I highly recommend Double Team Driving school. I began to teach my daughter to drive in a parking lot and you would have thought she had never even ridden in a car before. In a word she was terrible and of course she claimed I made her nervous. I may have raised my voice a little when she struck a curb in a large and completely empty parking lot. I was very nervous for her first lesson with an instructor and actually felt bad for what they were about to endure. The difference in her skill level after her first lesson was remarkable, and we could now drive on actual streets. Her confidence and skills increased dramatically after each lesson. My daughter now has her license and I will still be a nervous parent with her on the streets alone, but I am much more comfortable because of this school. Her driving instructor was Sabrina and she was excellent. I should also mention my daughter got to drive on all different types of roads and highways all over the KC metro area. I recommend Zeta CDL school to anyone looking to get their CDL license. I was really nervous when I started because I never drove a big rig before. But the instructors at Zeta were very patient and took their time teaching me the basics. Before we even got behind the wheel of a real truck they had us practice in the simulators. This helped me gain confidence handling a rig before going on the road. The curriculum covered everything I needed to know. The instructors taught me how to drive safely and how to pass the test to get my CDL. Now thanks to Zeta's great training, I feel ready to start a new career driving trucks. I recommend this school to anyone wanting to drive professionally.
I just finished at Zeta and I am completely satisfied. The instructors make you feel at ease and helped me learn what was necessary to pass the Road and Range exam. They offer 3rd Party Examiners so you test right at the school. You work at your own pace, it is possible to stay at your job while you train. I wouldn't recommend it, I personally took the entire month off to focus on the course. I managed to pass all 3 exams in the first attempt. You are given up to 3 attempts to pass each section. I noticed that the people that took the course seriously almost always passed on the first attempt.
I don't really know how to start one of the best schools I ever attended great stuff great service special thanks for James the general manager. If going to get your CDL definitely go to the school. I highly recommended 10 out of 10. Thank you all for the hard work love you guys❤️
This school has moved CDL training into a new age with their simulators. You get real life experiences of driving a semi while training. The staff is friendly and really knowledgeable. All of the instructors have real life experience driving and pass their life lessons on to the students.

Truly down to earth people who know their stuff! They train to a far higher degree, and you'll learn far more than just the bare minimum. Mike is the best instructor I've ever!!

I got my CDL @Elite. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful! Sam was quick to respond with answers to all my questions and to help me navigate the on line training. Mike is an excellent instructor, always patient, helpful with instructions and comic relief when you get a little frustrated.

The driving instructor was really nice and really understanding of my 2 teens' needs. The in class training seemed to be thorough, my kids came home with lots of notes and questions about the rules of driving. There was a slight misunderstanding of what I was expecting from their driving experience but the school called and we worked it out. To me, that shows they really care which is very refreshing.
This is an amazing class with an even more amazing teacher! 10/10 would recommend to anyone needing to learn how to drive! ETA- I have now done the driving part of the class it was super simple & easy the driving Instructor came to me & picked me up ( & dropped me back off when we were done). I was told I would get 8 hrs of class, then 6 hrs of driving, then an 8 hr defensive driving class for lowering insurance rates. I agreed and paid. Now they say the defensive driving class is not available. The driving instruction was lacking in safety. Not even shoulder checking!

My experience with 160 trucking academy if I knew the driving yard was gravel and the main instructor had it in for you the very first day second day in the yard talking about writing you up never work with you never tried to work with you if you wasn't a lady you cannot get any help hey what's that on the driver side of the truck and try to help the ladies but if you wasn't a lady you didn't have any help and they treat you different if you working for Amazon or some other big company they would help you but if you had someone like the DCF office helping you they didn't care if you made it or not because I found out Amazon paid twice the amount of money so it's hard to try to learn when you got someone threatening you from day one that you come to the yard to try to learn how to drive and do your maneuvers everyda I was there for 3 weeks and was never late coming back from anything lunch or whatever and you don't get for 10 hours of driving as they say they have poor working material for trucks being up to standard summertime everybody trying to get into one truck that has some air conditioner sometime it didn't even have air conditioner any instructor want to talk to you like your a dog with a tail this was the lead instructor everything you do was not right and was not enough for him always had complaints about every single thing that you do your name parts of the truck he tell you you did not say that when you did there's a lot to be said but on a later day.
I would recommend just a message I leave with my trainers I don’t think the company gives you enough credit your hard work and dedication to your team as well as your trainees is honestly unmatched it was as if you wanted it for myself and my brother as much as we did and I can’t thank you enough I definitely want to give credit where credit is due your dedication to your job is why one and dones are easy to get . :) —————————————————— The only thing I would say is they definitely need another automatic but once they get one this company is going to see more one and dones Also I wanted to say if you want more of a family environment this is definitely the place for you any concerns or feedback they take it and it’s not like you have to worry about them getting mad or it becoming awkward or aggressive it was like they were willing to learn as well and I appreciate that because we are all human at the end of the day Thanks again 160 the one and done sibling’s are out ✌️

Not impressed. I am female and one of the instructors kept on asking me for hugs. So gross. There's two instructors with like 20 students running around. Very male orientated . Very rude also

Kennedy driving school is a better choice. They come and pick up the teen driver at their home or school. It's very hard when you are a single mother working AND going to school to be able to drop them off. Kennedy is a much better choice!!! Not to mention my child was told they need more practice before their next time out with an instructor. I paid you guys to teach my child so I know they got the best instruction BEFORE they get into my car. Too much money for the inconvenience of them not picking up the student driver and to say she needs more practice when that is your job... Again Kennedy is the best choice and I regret that I did not go with them again.
I ran into big problems when I come over to get my daughters permit. If a person has any kind of medical issues they need to get cleared with the state first. Before they can go through the driving school. I was not told that by the school and my daughter could still go through the school. Please make sure from now on that if you get any medical history and make sure they are cleared with the state first. Before they take your class.
Couldn't have asked for a better place! Great program, Awesome Staff, Overall wonderful experience. Highly Recommend!!

In response to Angela’s review: There are 2 differences between Kennedy driving school and Johnny Rowland’s: 1. Rowlands is $35 cheaper 2. You have 12 months to complete the course at Rowland’s (6 months at Kennedy). While Kennedy picks up the driver from their home (within the Topeka city limits), Rowland’s is transparent that you must bring your driver to their location for driving instruction. Both school’s offer the same curriculum and hours of 1-on-1 driving time. There is no way your student/child will be able to fully drive, responsibly, after 6 hours of driving instruction. So, in between lessons, there will be items that YOU will need to work on with your young driver. Johnny Rowland’s does an excellent job of providing feedback of what your driver did well, and needs additional practice on. I really appreciate the patience of the driving instructor and candid feedback. I have put in additional driving time, with my son, and it really showed at his second driving instruction. I am a single, working father and I would highly recommend Johnny Rowland’s (and have recommended to several of my friends). My son will complete his last set of driving instruction this weekend and then he will be able to obtain his restricted drivers license. I’m thoroughly impressed with the experience we have had with Johnny Rowland’s.
