I highly recommend ABC Driving School for first time drivers. My 16 year old felt completely comfortable and confident with her instructor Allison. And getting the process started was a breeze with Rosa. She answered all of my questions and helps me get my daughter set for all of her lessons. And when I found myself stuck with some scheduling on the website, I reached out and got a quick response over text from Rosa. She heard my concerns and got my daughter scheduled within minutes. Thank you Rosa, Allison and the ABC Team!

I had a very disappointing experience with this company. First of all, they overcharged me. I initially paid the full tuition in early September, but then they asked me to pay again at a higher rate after prices increased — even though I had already registered and paid at the original price. Scheduling was also a mess. I signed up in early September, but the first available lesson they gave me was all the way at the end of the month — September 30. And before I pointed out an issue with the schedule, they had even scheduled my first class in October! On top of that, the class was only once a week, which made the entire timeline even more delayed and frustrating. Overall, the experience felt disorganized and unprofessional. I would not recommend this company to others.

SafePass was all around an amazing experience. I took their in-car lessons to prepare me to take my drivers test to get my license. They helped me feel comfortable and got me to become a good driver in just 4 sessions. Dylan (my instructor) was so kind and helpful throughout these 4 sessions. Always calm and explained things in a way that was easily understood. I never felt like i was dumb or that i was being judged for making a mistake or asking a question. This is a very welcoming and effective driving school that I would highly recommend.

Safe Pass Driving School was fantastic from start to finish! My instructor Liam, was patient, calm, and encouraging. He made the experience enjoyable and stress-free. I had Ms. Donna for my final two driving sessions and she was amazing. She taught me the correct way to do maneuverability, she was funny, and she helped me relax while I was on the road. I highly recommend her for drive times because she is very understanding. She went out of her way to schedule me on days off, move the location, and would help me work on anything I asked. She was by far my favorite instructor.

I had Mrs. Donna as my drive time lady and she is the most sweetest, helpful lady ever. I highly recommend Mrs Donna as your instructor she will go above and beyond for your needs and help you immensely, She is so welcoming and you can bond her so quickly because of how sweet she is, she is Allstars best!

Herb is a great guy, when you mess up he lets you know and that is what helped me learn to drive.

Mr herb is nice person, he gave me good lessons of driving and I did most of the practice with him .he made sure I did things right.

He was the driving instructor for me and my older brother we really liked him he’s always on time, and super friendly. We both passed first try so you definitely get your moneys worth.

Herb helped me out a lot and gave me great advice on learning how to drive. Would recommend to anyone wanting to get their license.

Absolutely stunning instructions. The step by step, methodical teaching strategy helped me fully understand what i should be doing behind the wheel. He taught the maneuvers, where to look, what to think, and any methods that can help with the more tricky requirements to pass a driving test. I managed to pass the test first try under his tutelage. He was also very understanding of me being a slightly older student driver.

Andrew Cox is a fantastic driving instructor and also an all-around great guy. He helped me through every step of learning to drive and went far beyond, even helping me schedule my road test and DMV appointments. I knew the sort of person I was looking for in an instructor and Andrew matched that to a T. He's patient, friendly, hilarious and he's very, very good at his job. I was someone who never thought I'd be able to drive, but with Andy that felt more and more possible each time we stepped in the car. He will iron out any anxieties you have about driving and effectively help you through every step, ensuring that you are ready when the time comes to take your road test. Thank you again Andy, if I had to do it again I'd pick your school every time!

I had the experience of driving lessons this past spring with Cox Mckenzie School of Driving. It was extremely unpleasant and dissatisfactory to say the least. My driving instructor would show up late to our scheduled appointments, and then would try to also cancel on me 20 - 15 minutes prior to my appointment that I already had paid over $600 for. I would get sent messages that said my appointment that again I had already paid for were being rescheduled out of my control. Not to mention the instructor never took me out of East Grand Rapids School zones for my road practice, which is only 25 mph. whenever I made a mistake it wasn’t followed up with constructive criticism, it was followed up with over reacting while I’m behind the wheel yelling “what did you do that for!” like the instructor wasn’t supposed to be the one guiding me. The instructor wouldn’t ever vocialize things I could be approving, nothing. I would be driving along a busy street and the instructor would just yell out “Turn here! Turn here! Turn here!” and give me absolutely no heads up, no warning beforehand about where I was supposed to be going or be turning. I ultimately didn’t even get to finish my last two sessions with them because it was so unprofessional. Not to mention I just went to reach out to Andrew Cox himself and it seems he has blocked my number so I can no longer correspond with him about anything regarding the whole situation. Which only further adds to my point. So I would say if you are 18+ looking for a place to help you get comfortable on the road without wasting a ton of money this is NOT the place. Do yourself a huge favor and don’t waste your time or your money!

My son was very comfortable and learned a lot from Jason. Jason is patient and very thorough. Exactly what a teenage boy needs. He even took the time to teach him how to parallel park. Jason did an excellent job communicating pick up times. It was a smooth experience for all of us!

I had an outstanding experience this week through learning the rules of the road and getting to know my instructor and fellow “behind the wheel” students. I feel that this class has improved my driving skills tremendously and I am more confident when I’m driving. This week was a great experience overall.

Beach Driving Academy did an absolutely great job with my daughter Gabi. The were very professional, patient and encouraging. They a great job working around my daughter`s busy schedule. They gave very detailed driving instructions and made sure she understood why safety was very important when driving on the road. I would highly recommend Beach Driving Academy to anyone who has a beginner driver needing instructions.

My daughter had a great experience learning to drive from Wendy! She was comfortable with her teaching style and gained confidence with each day she drove! My daughter is ready to be an independent driver now. I am incredibly happy we chose Beach Driving Academy for Behind the Wheel!!

Barrett Newsome did an incredible job! I was dreading spending my Saturday taking this course. He was super engaging and didn't make it feel so much like a class lecture. He was laid back but relayed the information in a way that was relatable, easy to follow, and made it very understandable. I would almost call it enjoyable if it was any other day than a Saturday. 10/10 easy

Barrett was truly an amazing instructor. I wish everyone who had to attend driving school had Barrett. He made sure we understood absolutely everything and didn’t continue without making sure we all understood. I’m almost 30 but because of him I learned a few things I never knew prior to attending

I can't say enough nice things about the driving instructor, David. He did an amazing job with my granddaughter. But the owner/scheduler is a different story. I received one return phone call from her. Then after paying $600 for 10 hours of driving classes, I could not get her to answer emails, text or messages left on her phone. All I wanted was to know when we would receive her completion certificate or an explanation as to why my granddaughter wasn't receiving it. I left my number and my granddaughters registration number. Also be sure you get your driving instructors contact number. Every time slot she gave me was different than the time she gave the instructor. All 10 classes were completed. India if you had contacted me as requested numerous times, this review would not be here today. This has been going on since March 2024. Plenty of time to have resolved this situation.

My Experience was wonderful with Danielle she helped me conquer my fear of taking the maneuverability test and gave me some good tips on driving that I needed to learn all in 1hr. She helped me build confidence to pass the test after having only temps for the past 10 years. ITS SAFE TO SAY IM FINALLY AN OFFICIALLY A LICENSED DRIVER. I PASSED. Was pretty nervous about learning to drive at first but my instructor was fantastic!! passed my test on the first try! (i personally did about 12 hours i believe over the course of about 3 months). my instructor amy was super nice, gentle and personable, very easy to get along with and follow/understand! absolutely worth it and would totally recommend this place! going to miss my drive times a bit lol

They say they work with adults but every time I call for lesson they say the are only helping children. Call back in a month or in the summer. When you call back it is the same story. Been going on for 2 years.

As a complete beginner driver to getting my license, I highly recommend taking classes with Frances as she is skilled and knowledgeable about the test and driving safety on the road. “Just find a company and explain that your daughter has no driving experience at age 23 and that she wants to record them without their knowledge.“ A response from a complaint about this business. You, quite literally, are a business to teach people how to drive. Why belittle someone for coming to you to do your job? Not only that, you continued to make slick comments about your customer and her family, unprovoked. Your response is very telling in your intentions with this customer. Recording was in progress for safety, just like your alleged cameras. Show your footage if you feel what is being said about you is so false.

I highly recommend enrolling in Brown’s driving school. Mr. & Mrs.Brown have been amazing and are both kind and patient. Mr. Brown’s an excellent instructor who have helped me boost my confidence behind the wheel, while also emphasizing the importance of safety. He’s very professional, informative, and comfortable to work and talk with. Couldn’t ask for a better experience and we’re glad we found this school!

AAAA is a great driving school. I just got done with my 4th day today, and the instructor is very patient and willing to teach. You will not only be qualified for a license by going through quadruple A but also you will learn important skills for the road. Car is well maintained and clean, however location is hard to get to.

Our daughter had a great experience with BTW for her in car lessons. They made it easy to sign up, schedule lessons and complete the training. Don was especially helpful in building her confidence and giving her some great advice.

BTW was easy to work with and responsive. All lessons were scheduled in a very timely manner. John was a great teacher for the in-car lessons and my son really enjoyed the time they spent together!

What a fantastic experience from start to finish! BTW has excellent communication skills, great instructors, and genuinely care about the people they're working work. From getting sessions scheduled, sending reminders, to working with our student that has a life-threatening allergy - the team is really amazing. Daniel was so kind and encouraging to our teen. He provided appropriate criticism followed by explanation, steps for correction, and then action (teach, demonstrate, do) and worked off that each session. Not only did our teen learn the importance and value of maneuverability and driving skills, but she learned a valuable lesson in receiving constructive criticism (bravo Daniel). Daniel's ability to provide feedback to help our teen recognize areas of improvement but also celebrate corrections made based upon that feedback helped our teen gain confidence on the road (and that is so valuable). Daniel helped our teen progress as a driver in just a few sessions and we are grateful for his kindness, patience and assistance in helping make our teen a safe and proficient driver...because we all know that is NOT EASY!

Two of my kids have now been through Driver's Ed with BTW and we couldn't be happier with the experience. I'm so glad that in person classes are offered at this location. We feel that there is a feeling of ownership for the child by attending in person and that the information is retained better in this way, as well. After all, driving is a huge responsibility and we want our kids to treat it that way. Both of my kids had Don as their in car driving instructor and that was a wonderful experience, as well. He gave constructive pointers to the kids while being kind and creating a comfortable environment to practice and learn. I recommend this place whenever anyone asks!

Passed my drivers test today!!! I took a few lessons with Joe from Express Driving after having mixed experiences with other driving instructors from other places and I can confidently say that Joe was the best instructor I’ve ever had! He’s very professional, polite, knowledgeable, and passionate about his job!! I would certainly recommend!! 🙌

I took three driving lessons and I was able to get the gist of parking right away and later took my license exam and was able to get my license the first try. I had Joe as my instructor and he helped me out a lot! The lessons really helped me feel more comfortable with driving.

The owner Vito--goes by Mr. Vito is GREAT! I was a little confused by this whole teen driving licensing process and all of the requirements. I wanted my son to have in classroom training but I don't think a lot of places offer that anymore. Anyway fortunately there are on line options for self study. There are so many hoops through which I and my son have to jump to get an Ohios driver's license. But that makes sense because obviously we want Ohio teens to be very well trained before they get on the road by themselves. 😊 Vito was very helpful when I called and very patient because I had a lot of questions. And the prices for training at his company aren't bad. So if you are an occasionally extra anxious mother like I am and have questions about the teen driving education process --this guy is super nice and helpful 🤣😊👍

As a teenager trying to obtain his license, I was worried that in cars would be another thing to not look forward to. But as I browsed the options and heard feedback from peers, I decided to go with IDA. And I’m happy to say that through all 4 of my in car drives I learned many things and grew as a driver. No matter who you get as your instructor for the drive they all bring a very friendly attitude and I’ve enjoyed all my rides with them. To anybody who needs in car training I would highly recommend them!

Paul was an excellent, patient , honest and very detailed instructor. I had a two hour lesson with him the day before my test. He had me drive to the DMV, showed me how to check in, and showed me where to park before and after the lesson. He then had me practice around the neighborhood where the test would be held. He basically did a mock test for me. On the day of my exam, I just followed his instructions and I passed my test!! The reviews made me to register with this school and trust me, they are real and true reviews. Paul and NorCal are excellent!!

Paul, my instructor for my final lesson was very skilled in articulating steps to build proper driving technique. The experience was calming, and learning felt easy and structured. I contacted Neil this summer for driving lessons for my teenager. I filled out the online form and texted the number that I was given, but did not receive a response. I eventually called the number...Neil answered and apologized, saying summer was a busy time. I was willing to accept this explanation, so I scheduled two behind-the-wheel lessons for my teen. The day of the first lesson came, and Neil didn't show up. I texted him and called him, and received no response. I finally texted him again, 30 minutes beyond the lesson start time, and told him not to bother coming for either of the scheduled lessons. Between his initial unresponsiveness and his subsequent lateness/lack of communication, he proved totally unreliable. I have no interest in my teen working with someone so unprofessional.

Neil provided one driving lesson for my son, but now is not responding to texts - not to give feedback on how he did nor to confirm the next lesson. I don't know if the lesson was that bad or there was a misunderstanding - I don't know why he is not responding.

I’m very thankful to have Dave as my driving instructor. He’s very patient, helpful, understandable, and funny. He taught me so well. I was really nervous when I started driving on my first lesson with him and he made me feel comfortable and calm. I had 4 lessons and last lesson early morning before my driving test. I passed on my first try yesterday and I still can’t believe it. It was really worth it! I highly recommend Dave.

Had a great experience learning with my instructor Nick. I've had anxiety about driving for years, and never thought I'd be able to get my license, but with the help of PA Driving School, I was able to learn the principles, become much more comfortable driving, and pass the driver's test within 6 weeks. Very affordable for the service, and Nick is so good at teaching the fundamentals so you feel ready to tackle whatever comes your way. Highly recommend!

Nick is an amazing teacher! I just passed my test today and wouldn't have been able to without Nick's help. I had just had back surgery, was walking with a loud squeaky walker so it took me a minute to get in and get seated and I sat at the front of the class on the left on Sept 17,2024 and Sept 19, 2024. On the second part of the class the sign in sheet had passed where I was sitting (since I would’ve been the first to sign it)and I waited for everyone else to sign and the teacher went ahead and got started before time and people were still coming in. I raised my hand and told the instructor I hadn’t got to sign the sheet and she said don’t worry I already have you signed in. I can’t remember her name but she drove a yellow Jeep one day and a red one the next and I was always the last one to leave. I was attending a 2 part 8 hour course that I paid for and I got a letter saying I still owed on my tickets. I called and talked to the clerk and she said they only have down that I attended one and I said No, I attended both and asked what I could do and she suggested reaching out to the instructor and I have been trying for months and no response. I had to pay the court fee, the driving class, and for the tickets the judge was going to dismiss upon completing the driving course. I also had to complete an 8 hour driving course for Tennessee since they put those tickets from an irritated Alabama State Trooper who gave me 3 tickets in one day. One of the tickets was for going through a stop sign and I didn’t. The brakes were bad on my truck and before I got to the stop sign I pulled into a church just incase my brakes acted funny. The trooper had someone else pulled over at the end of the church parking lot. I stopped there and then turned right onto John Hunter Hwy/Winchester Rd at the State line. He stopped me and gave me a ticket for passing a stop sign I never went through because I turned right into the church parking lot before even reaching the sign but he didn’t care and didn’t like me anyways because he stopped me the day prior and I argued with him. The prior day he stopped me for passing a vehicle on their phone who was brake checking me and all over the road. There were no lines on the road so I passed him and that same trooper gave me a ticket for speeding because when I tried to pass the man on the truck sped up trying not to let me pass, he gave me a ticket for passing on a no passing zone although there were no lines there, and because I mentioned the guy was on his cell phone he gave me a ticket for that too even though my car has apple play in it so why would I need or want to pick up my phone. I tried explaining that I said the other driver was using his phone and he just wouldn’t listen. Just to be mean he also called in another officer so they could search my car and made me 2 hours late for work. The judge said the Trooper has had many complaints and didn’t believe that I had violated traffic laws 3 or 4 times in the same stop so she let me go to driving school. So yeah, this was a terrible experience and I switched routes because anytime that trooper saw me he got behind me and sometimes he pulled me over and sometimes he didn’t and I said,”don’t you need probable cause to pull me over?”and he said,”no!” and he would have my car searched and of course there was nothing to find and then he’d let me go. He knew that was my route to work from Tennessee to Alabama and I worked 60-80 hours a week and he wanted to make me late or hoped he could find anything to bust me for. So yeah I try my best not to get pulled over and I don’t pass unless it’s a 4 lane or has dotted lines and I go a longer route to work now and since then I’ve not had anymore tickets.

Alabama Driving Academy was great in preparing our Granddaughter for the test for her license. They were patient and very professional in teaching the skills required. All instructors were great. Lacey was particularly helpful at instilling confidence and providing moral support . She took a personal interest and in so doing created a special trust that greatly inspired the desire to learn. I strongly recommend the services of this company.

Amazing driving school. They helped teach my daughter how to drive. She passed the test at 100%. They are very professional yet very down to earth. Lessons include great tips for driving as well as parking. They do drivers test prep, highway driving and go over the grids for downtown St Louis among other driving lessons. I had Instructor Justin for all 3 of my driving lessons and no complaints from any of them. Justin taught well and made sure I was aware of the rules of the road. Daniel was great. Signed up for 3 hr lesson without knowing how to drive manual. After 2 hours I was completely versed on how to drive, left an hour early and went right to driving my new manual car. Overall very happy with the experience.

Provided enough guidance and repetitions to make me comfortable drive my wife’s beloved manual transmission classic that afternoon. Highly recommend.

Daniel was an excellent instructor, very calm and very knowledgeable. After 3 hours, I felt that I had gained a basic understanding of how manual driving works. I was very nervous and maybe a bit hesitant, but it was definitely worth the time. I would consider another lesson in the future.
