I got my license today!!!!!! Jay was my instructor and we shared the same goal which was for me to pass and get rid of my fear of driving.I came from ZERO driving experience and major anxiety on the road, due to Jay’s calm and patient demeanor I was able to pass my road test. The driving lessons weren’t awkward or uncomfortable, Jay was very informative, funny, and had no problem with telling me when I was wrong and helping me correct my mistakes. This driving school offers convenient times as well, I was able to take my lessons after work which most places do not offer since I get off at 5. The only practice I had with driving was through my lessons at ADP. I’m so grateful for the wonderful experience I had. Thank you so much Jay!!!

Shawn and Jay are the best and they are very friendly. They really helped me passed my road test. Every time I thought I wouldn't be able to pass they reassured me and gave me the confidence I needed to pass my exam. Also, I will forever be grateful for Aidelino, he continued to practice with me until I got it right. I would strongly recommend this driving school to anyone.

Awesome driving school! I had virtually no experience behind the wheel, and am an older student, so I was very nervous about this whole experience. They (Adolino & Sean) were incredibly patient, kind, and made me feel extremely comfortable in no time at all. I purchased the 6 lessons package, and passed the exam a month later on the first try. Also, their prices are very fair for what you get. Highly Recommend!

October 2020-this is the very best driving school I have encountered. Its the cheapest with great instructors ,who do a great job ,very patient and encouraging. Their initiative is to make you overcome your fears and pass your test, not about money . December 20- today I passed my driving test on my first try ,thank you ADP for your help and endless support in getting my license, with their guidance and patience.ADP taught me the skills to become a safe driver giving me the confidence to drive and overcome my nervousness. Their lessons are very informative and well structured I really appreciated their encouragement as well as professional attitude. I will recommend them to anyone who is interested in learning to drive and don't want to feel pressured.

I had a wonderful experience getting my driving license from this school. As an adult with no driving experience at 27, I was taught all the basics as well as all the important reflexes to be a safe driver in a challenging city driving environment. The instructors were all lovely and made it their mission to get me ready for my road test, which I passed with flying colors. I also appreciated their flexible pickup and dropoff policy, allowing me to start and end my lessons from a convenient location. Hesitate no more, invest in your future and go get that license!

I’d like to sincerely thank Mr. Andy for the smooth lessons and guidance throughout my driving test journey. With his support, I was able to earn my very first license. He has a calm and patient teaching style that helped me loosen up and feel relaxed on the actual test day. If you are looking for a driving school I highly recommend Safety! My daughter just got her license yesterday and Safety made sure she was well prepared. Best part is they pick up and drop off for driving hours! Price was reasonable and she was given the opportunity to book extra hours as needed.

After having a bad experience with my old instructor I wanted to try a new school, and then I found Seldieu. I read all the good reviews about him and decide to try a class, that was the best decision I made. Today was my road test and I passed on my first attempt, after 13 classes with Seldieu (I had never driven a car before). Seldieu is a very friendly man, extremely patient and calm when he needs to call your attention. He's perfect if you need someone that will understand you insecurities while driving. Had a very Bad experience my classes got cancelled all the time for whatever reasons. I had to give up on my 3 paid section just for my peace of mind. Very unprofessional don’t recommend it.

My daughter loves driving school her instructor is Scott he’s amazing and so down to earth he makes the experience fun.❤️🙏🏼 she had a different driver today in auburn her name was Lisa plasse and she was horrible! My daughter left there so upset she wrote 3 pages and failed my daughter for basically any and everything that was on the pages! She didn’t get out and do the steps like other teachers do to check for blind spots or nothing, she sat in the car with my daughter parked for 20 min of her lesson before leaving and just knocked everything my daughter did. She’s rude and she’s definitely in the wrong field for teaching with that attitude! There’s a way to teach right from wrong but to down a minor and make them feel less then is not okay! She’s definitely never booking with that lady again! We love Scott and will be booking all our classes through him. It’s crazy how my daughter is loved my other teachers and they say she drives very very well and then today she just made my diaghter feel like crap!😡

He was very nice and gave a lot of experiences that other people had and explained what not to do. One of my other lessons for parallel parking with a different instructor i only did one parallel park. So he taught me how to do it and tips and tricks. I felt very confident in my driving skills after this lesson with his help and constant practice of maneuvers.

I just finished a fantastic lesson with my favorite instructor Matt Leblanc. I’ve had 2 lessons with him, lesson 1 and lesson 7. I was very nervous for my first lesson, but he helped me build my confidence on the road. Today we worked on parallel parking, learning a new technique and how to critique little things while getting into the spot. I was glad I got to see him again on my 7th lesson. I hope I get to see him again in future lessons. Thank you Matt! Keep being the best!

When I expressed that it seemed impossible to schedule lessons at times when students can actually get there and explained that we couldn't find lessons close to us, CMSC reached out to help our son secure more lessons, so I'm revising my review here. I passed my road test today!! Special thanks to Instructor WU and our weekly classes. When I started 3 months ago with Victory Driving School, I was a nervous wreck because I had failed previously with a different auto school. Mr. Wu built up my confidence, gave precise instructions, never sugarcoated anything, and always a sprinkle of humor. I'll be back for highway lessons soon!

It was a perfect experience with Coach Wu. He is super supportive and kind. Though I already had a driver’s license in another country, I still contacted them for a few private lessons. And that is one of the wisest things I’ve done. They can arrange your road test for you and took you to the test field. You don’t need to get your own car for the test, as they provide this for you. I had also compared the lesson fee with many other driving schools, but they are the best!! Don’t worry anything, they are super nice and responsible people, you will be in good hands.

I had the pleasure of learning to drive with Chris, and I can honestly say he’s one of the most patient and encouraging instructors I’ve ever met. He always reminded me to believe in myself and helped me gain the confidence I needed to pass my road test. I had a great experience with Chris as my driving instructor. I have suffered a lifelong fear of driving so was very nervous to do anything in the car when I started lessons. Although I'm a older driver I was very fearful. It took me many lessons and Chris was patient and calm the entire time no matter what happened. I did fail my first road test because I was so nervous I wasn't able to focus on my driving skills. I was successful my second test by practicing and with a lot of encouragement from Chris. Lesson scheduling was flexible, which was great because my work schedule was not always predictable. If you are looking for a great instructor and are nervous don't count yourself out. This was a great choice for lessons and I was able to schedule my road test as soon as I could with no issues.

This driving school does not teach properly and will stall or avoid giving a refund until you threaten them with legal action. Terrible service, very unprofessional — I would not recommend them to anyone.

I had a lesson and road test sponsorship scheduled for the same day, and the driver didn't show up. I waited an entire hour so my lesson time had to be skipped, but I still had my road test scheduled. Not wanting to forfeit it, I started calling other driving schools for an emergency road test sponsor, but no one was available. Eventually, another instructor from Universe texted me back and said to meet him at the road test location. When he got there, there were no apologies, no sense that I was panicking for an hour before, just a "how's it goin?" So naturally, with no practice beforehand, I did poorly on the test and failed. I still had to pay the full sponsor fee. The other student with us was in my same situation. He had a lesson scheduled but the same driver didn't show. So the instructor wanted us to be paired in a lesson again properly and for us to do the test on the same day two weeks later. He put us in a group text and... didn't ever follow up. I went with a different school (Patience Auto School), did a lesson and road test and passed perfectly. There are some other issues. I agree with other reviews saying the communication is not good. It took some extra prying on my end just to confirm my lesson time was properly scheduled (because I was afraid the driver wouldn't show). The website also has basically zero useful info. No hours are listed, no list of services, no pricing.. The gallery contains generic images of drivers behind an Audi, BMW.. but they certainly don't use those cars for lessons or testing.. In the end, the road test was $180, but I only found that out from speaking with the instructor on the phone. A lesson if I had had one would've been $70 for one hour. Avoid this school at all costs. There are plenty of better options in the area.

Excellent service! I called 24 hrs earlier and scheduled to rent a car for the road test and to use them as sponsor. They told me to get there 45 min early with $140 cash. Joe, a great guy, took me out for a very helpful practice ride and showed me everything expected on the test. Great guys.

If you are looking to pass your road test, this is the place to go for classes. These people are amazing, professional, gentle, and very understanding and patient. I did the class and I also used their car for the road test. Customer service is outstanding! And the prices are great and worth every penny. I can't thank them enough for everything!!

I took a few lessons with them. And I promise they are truly Amazing. I had David as my instructor, but I've also had Ed and I believe William (sorry if I'm wrong) but they are all great. They make you feel relaxed they talk you through everything and they. With all that said I took my test today and I passed. I highly recommend them They are really worth every penny, I also used them as my sponsor and Joe took me out before the test and I also feel like that was a big help. So if anyone is looking for a school I say this is the perfect one. Also the Staff is super nice and friendly, Nash is amazing as well!

I cannot speak highly enough about A-L&L. I passed my test in Watertown and came to the school as a nervous driver. It's hard to find a driving school around this area so I am so so glad I was recommended A-L&L. Greg was my primary instructor but I also had a few lessons with Lawrence. Both are very patient and kind, but honest and direct in a positive way - exactly what you need from your instructor. Communication with the office was always easy and pleasant. Thanks to the amazing instructors at JLW Auto School, I was able to pass my road test after just 3 lessons with them! They give such clear instructions and really teach the technical stuff. Leading up to the road test they went above and beyond to get me familiar with the general area and do whatever possible to prepare me for the test. Even within three 45 minute lessons, I learned a lot from the instructor and they helped me so much with getting more comfortable behind the wheel.

I had a great experience with JLW Auto School. I learned a lot of the rules of the road and tips for driving in the Driver’s Education Program. The price is more or less reasonable especially with the future pros being taken into account, and the instruction is great. Jennifer is really good with making sure you know the rules and making sure you are prepared for when you actually get behind the wheel, in terms of driving defensively and safely. She was very flexible with my tight schedule as well. Kaz is a great instructor! He is calm but still constructive with your driving maneuvers and techniques. He is very attentive and gives you helpful tips and feedback to improve even the smallest part of driving. He is a good person and teacher in general, and I am happy to have had him as an instructor. They are both amazing people! I passed my test, and I can very much accredit a lot of that to this school.

I passed my road test with JLW on my first try! I started learning to drive last year as an adult and I highly recommend JLW. Kaz was my instructor - he’s very patient, knowledgeable and has a way of communicating that really worked for me as an anxious driver who had a lot to learn. I have nothing bad to say, if you’re in the area and looking for driving lessons, you can’t do better than JLW.

Getting your driver license is something very important, however learning how to drive and get ready for the road test is a whole new experience that stays with us for ever. Having my driving lessons with Joseph Shink has been the best that could happened to me during this journey. He is very professional, very focus on teaching you everything you need and the most important, he is a teacher with a lot a patience, who will always pay attention to your questions and the skills you need to improve.

Hi! I just passed my road test today thanks to Parkway and I am so grateful for all their help! I really recommend this driving school. I started my online classes Jan 18th and finished Jan 26th and was on the road for my first driving lesson by January 30th. Its such a quick and painless process, and the instructors are so nice, I had Mr.Costa for 7/9 of my lessons and he was great, truly helped prepare me for the road and road test properly, very grateful for him and the school and Ms. Bernadette. Thank you guys for everything!

Overall, a great experience with Parkway. My only qualm is that not all of their instructors are created equal—the vast majority are excellent and keenly attuned to how you’re driving with ways to correct it. Still, a few seem zoned out and struggle to clearly advise you on how to improve your maneuvers. That said, I would not hesitate to use Parkway again and would not have passed my road test without them. If you can, try to get Chris as your instructor for some lessons—he was the single most helpful to me.

Had 6 regular driving lessons and 1 highway lesson with parkway. Hadn't been behind the wheel a single time before first lesson, but sucessfully learned how to drive. Instructors were all very helpful and easy to work with. Frequently reminded me of what the driving test expected and I did not have any surprises when I took my road test; passed it on the first attempt. Only complaints are that there was a bit of scheduling confusion when booking highway lesson (was initially sent wrong date / time moved on short notice), and one time one of my regular driving lessons ended like 10 minutes earlier than scheduled.

Highly recommended! I passed my road test today after taking their lesson+road test combo. I took a driving lesson and scheduled a road test with them. The driving instructor was nice and polite, and she taught me everything I needed for the test. The online scheduling site is really great. It lets you pick a lesson and road test time by seeing all available slots. Saves all the hassle of doing it over the phone, really useful. They had a lot of slot within 2 weeks, where others had about a month away. I was willing to take the road test about 45 ins away from home, in Braintree, to have the test sooner. They are very responsive via emails, and helped me through the process whenever I had any question. They are present in the back seat during the road test, which helps reduce anxiety.

I had such a great experience taking BTW lessons and passing the road test here. I had Janice and Jenny as instructors and they were wonderful. They really focus on improving your weaknesses and make sure you’re a comfortable and defensive driver. Highly recommend 💯

Used their road test sponsorship and did not have any trouble. They showed up in the RMV on time and were really helpful. The car is in good condition. A guy even made sure I know hand signals, parking uphill/downhill since the examiner is going to ask you that. Passed the test!

The best driving school in Quincy! Best in class customer service and experience. They are excellent with managing the expectations of their student through timely updates about scheduling and requirements- these were done through email and text so there’s no way for you to miss anything. They are able to get RMV schedule that’s realistic given the COVID19 situation. I booked their road test (NQAA car sponsored) + 1 driving hour before the actual road test. In the beginning I thought, I should have just used my own car for the driving hour so I’m used to it more but it actually worked best for me because they have Jeep Renegade and it was easy handling! My driving coach was Jay- he pointed out all my strengths and things to improve on so it was a good coaching experience overall. He focused on points that were useful for me like parallel driving bec I work in Boston (and I will return from not working from home starting January). I will forever remember my key take aways!!! Thank you Jay, Kenny, Trina, Jason and the entire staff of North Quincy Auto Academy! Pictures below for proof! PASSED the road test!!! 5 stars overall!

I rarely leave reviews, but Ed absolutely deserved it! I took one class with him the day before my road test (risky, yeah, I know). He was beyond accommodating, which made me happy as it is. He picked me up from work and asked me to drive back to my house. Nerve wrecking as I had just started this job and had no idea how to get home by car (been taking the train every morning), PLUS it was rush hour! But he was soooo patient with me, explained everything I was still unsure of (I have driven my sister's car plenty of times so it's not like this was all brand new to me) and we got to my house in no time :) I was still really nervous about the road test though-- but everything went well and I passed! I can't thank him enough and that one class was worth every single penny! I will definitely recommend his school to everyone I know! Thank you again, Ed! :)

Thanks to Ed I am now a licensed driver. When I started with him I had only been around a steering wheel approximately three times. Ed is an amazing instructor, who takes care while teaching you to drive. He was very patient and encouraging with me and that gave me confidence while driving. I would recommend Mystic Driving School in a heartbeat as I had a great experience and I am very happy with the end results.

Ed is the best driving instructor that I took in August of 2018 and got my license in October 2018. With just a few classes, well explained directions and instructions, I didnt have anxiety anymore because I was taught well. He's punctual and reliable and he even gives you tips and builds up confidence before the driving test. I would recommend taking Ed's driving classes to everyone who wants to get their license soon.

I've had lessons with a dozen instructors over the years that I tried to learn to drive, and so I can tell you with certainty: Alexa is one of a kind. She has an incredible ability to explain concepts and prepare you not only to ace the road test but to drive in the real world. Her feedback is always correct and well-timed, and I always felt safe with her. As my skills improved, she directed me to new intersections to navigate, finding new ways to gently challenge me. And when I did make mistakes, she calmly prevented them from escalating, and helped me out of the situation without judgment or embarrassment. I took 10 driving lessons with Lucien and was able to successfully pass my MA driving test at RMV Watertown on the first try!! They are very reasonably priced compared to other schools in the area. Lucien is a patient instructor and was quite flexible in scheduling lessons, ensured I got enough practice with special focus on the mistakes I made at stop signs and turns, as a driver who is new to driving on the "other" side of the road. I was able to master the parallel parking and 3 pt turns in a few days, which made me feel much more comfortable and confident. I would definitely recommend Shammah Driving School to anyone who wishes to learn driving and obtain a driving license in MA.

I booked a sponsor for road test, and passed on my first attempt. The car was easy to drive, and instructor (my sponsor) was friendly when I tried to make some last minute clarification of the road test.

One of instructors acted as my sponsor for my Road test. Before the exam he shared with me some very useful advices which helped me pass the test in first attempt. The process of booking the sponsorship wasn’t complicated. I can recommend.

I took 1 lesson with them to review before the test, and the instructor doesn’t helpful at all. Rude! And disrespectful with annoying facial expression all the time. Bad English accent is okey, but they are not even to try to explain when they said. I got Ielts band 8 on Listening, I have no idea what they said. When I asked a simple question “what should I do when I saw...sign”. He’s boring replied that “what do you think if they said stop!!! (That was unacceptable) I came here as a student not for a test!!! Even we get the road test pretty fast within 2 weeks, but we have to go to far like 40 minutes from Boston. Furthermore than that, the instructor doesn’t help us anything before the test. Poor driver instructor ever! If you are an owner of this business, Please hiring someone friendly with a sense of human! Not recommended at all for anyone to get a car sponsor from this school! There are a plenty school in East boston area. I wasted my time for 5 hrs and almost $200 to get nothing.

City Auto School provided excellent instruction. The instructor was patient, and focused on teaching everything necessary to prepare for the road test. The lesson was clear, informative, and very helpful. I highly recommend this driving school!

Disappointing and Unprofessional Experience I had a very frustrating experience with City Auto School. I initially signed up for their 5 classes + 1 road test package, but the service quickly became a money-making scheme. My first instructor, James, was decent but didn't address my questions properly, telling me not to "overthink" instead of providing clear answers. He later pushed me to take 3 additional classes, and shortly after, he left without notice. I was then assigned two new instructors, both of whom were harsh and unhelpful. They gave no useful feedback and only seemed interested in making me pay for more lessons. One of them even told me that James' lessons were a waste of time, showing internal conflicts and lack of professionalism. Despite paying close to $600, I was never properly taught how to parallel park with cones, a critical skill I failed on during my driving test. The front office staff were consistently rude, and the overall experience left me feeling cheated and helpless. I cannot recommend City Auto School to anyone—save your time and money elsewhere. Very disappointed.

I took 3 lessons with 3 different instructors, all were absolutely amazing. I couldn’t parallel park for the life of me until I took the lessons. All scheduled within a week time frame. I was able to push my road test up a week ($150), and passed on my first try! Best driving school here in Boston.

I accept I was at fault as I didn't had my printed Learner's permit. I had called and was ready to pay my cancelation fee of 60$. But, the lady was rude and said she can't register my next class till I take a print out. I felt offended. You don't know what one is going through. I had recently lost my closed one's due to Covid back in my home country. And I almost forgot that I had a class today. I didn't had a printer at home. You don't know what a person is going through. I wish the owner and the staff don’t have to lose someone they love in this pandemic. Please talk to people softly from next time.

I called to get quote to get road lessons, they said that they don't pick up in Somerville its advertised they do, but that they will have their manager contact me. Its been a week and they never contacted me when i called they say that no manager has been the office to help and that they'll leave another note for the manager. the man on the phone was rude and I get i'm clearly frustrated with their lack of customer service and communication. i understand that due to the pandemic they are busy but that doesn't mean that you don't get back in contact with a potential customers. and even if you don't pick up in the area you could be more accomodating with people if someone is willing to be picked up in the area you do servic how is that a problem. i suggest that the owner train their staff better.

Overall a great experience with this driving school. If you're looking for a driving school that will be there for you from start to finish this is the one. Everyone who works here is very knowledgeable and nice. I can't recommend this school enough!

Paul is phenomenal! Before him I was with another driving instructor who wasn't nearly as good. It does matter. Paul is patient and knowledgable. He will tell me nicely when I'm doing something wrong or problematic. One big thing I learned from Paul is that driving is a language spoken on the road, and it's important to communicate with other drivers what I'm doing, through my actions. He really helped me pass my road test and gain the necessary skills to be a good driver! 100% recommend.

Ten lessons and one recap, then passed my test on the first try. Instructor was very patient, always punctual, and really hammered home all of the best practices for driving. Highly recommended.

I am very happy that I found Friendship Auto School and had Paul as my teacher to prepare me for my road test (which I passed two days ago). I needed lessons to refresh my driving skills, practice parallel parking, and get insight into what examiners look for in the road test. The lessons were invaluable. They didn't only help me with all of the above, but also raised my confidence as a driver. Paul was patient, calm, warm and funny (even when I tried to argue with him and driving practices I didn't understand :-D) - I had such a great time driving with him.

I took a few lessons with Heman last year, as a very insecure adult driver from the city. He really built my confidence and after just three or four lessons encouraged me to schedule my road test. When I emailed to set up a lesson at first, Paul was really helpful too. They picked me up and dropped me off at my house, right on time, every time. It’s a really well-run place, and they listen to what you’re less confident in so you can focus on that in the lessons. Easy transactions and they take care of the process side. The school’s cars were nice, clean and easy to adjust and drive. It was definitely time and money well spent - passed on my first attempt, even with a nightmarish RMV proctor. I had a great experience with this business and would recommend them to anyone, especially nervous adults.

Booked this place two days before my road test and they were so incredible helpful! My instructors were Rory and Mr. Pelletier (sorry if I spelled it wrong!). On the day of my exam, they were so reassuring and calmed my nerves after going through some routine testing instructions with me. Also helpful that they do pickup / drop off! Would definitely recommend to anyone trying to get their license!!

Teachers may be nice, but the person who books the training changes the time randomly, then send you a message randomly that it changed at 10PM. No freedom to choose the time that the students are available. It could be cheaper than other places, but definitely not worth the service

I recommend this driving school 100% especially if you take your classes with Rorey! He made this experience 100x better and motivated me and he understood me and was very patient with my mistakes and would cheer me in when I did things perfectly and wasn’t rude at all. He would tell me each time I drove “ You will pass the test your more then ready” he has more confidence in me then I had in myself most days. I want to appreciate him for everything he did within the month and a half that I took class. Definitely go take classes with Rorey❤️

STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCHOOL! I called Richways Auto School yesterday to schedule a road test for my brother for 10 AM today, and I made it very clear we needed a car with an Intoxalock device. The woman who answered the phone assured me they had it. I even paid extra for a class with an instructor. Today, my brother did the test and PASSED—only to have it CANCELLED because the car didn't have the Intoxalock! The instructor? He had no idea about any of this. Zero communication between staff. When I called back, the same woman just casually said we’d get a refund. No apology. No responsibility. Nothing. This place is completely unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. Richways wasted our time, money, and effort.

I had a great experience at Richways. I took drivers ed class back in April, the classroom portion involved a lot of listening and watching videos. The location is very convenient for lunch break because there are several food places in walking distance. During the road lessons, I learned a lot. I had Richard (the owner) the majority of the time so I got the chance to know him well, such a funny and humble soul. He made learning all the maneuvers very easy and simple. I learned how to do a three point turn and parallel park my first try. The instructors are very patient with the students and they make you feel comfortable and confident being on the road. Monica at the front desk is so nice and helpful, she helped me throughout this entire journey, booking everything and answering all my questions. I took my road test today with Richways and passed my first time. Everyone in this environment is so patient, understanding and friendly, 10/10 recommend!!

I highly recommend Brookline Driving School!! My daughter took all of her lessons and then took her road test with them. She had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Brookline driving school was super helpful and very friendly every time I would call to book out our appointments. They gave excellent advice on what to do before taking the road test. We did use a couple private driving lesson one of which was with Bryan right before her test and that was very helpful as it was the perfect refresher before her test date. My daughter learned from Bryan the best and most easy way to parallel park. We have been so impressed by Brookline Driving School! We will definitely use them again with our next daughter!

Definitely recommend this school. I had problems with pulling over and parallel parking, and failed the road test before. Took a private lesson with Vladimir, and he gave me really great guidances. Then I did a 2 hour practice myself, just trying to internalize what I learned, and I passed the road test next time. Definitely worth it.

Front desk was extremely helpful. Very responsive on text throughout the whole process. The process was also very convenient i.e. picked up at your house for lessons and road test day was seamless.(5/5) Mixed feeling about the lesson. Instructor was 18 minutes late (18min * $65/60min = $19.50). Unsure if the time it takes for the instructor to pick me up is supposed to be included... if so, I would've loved to know beforehand. There's room for improvement in knowledge transfer / communication; the instructor's comments are not always constructive, and I was definitely stressed out (but I probably stressed her out with my driving too). However, I PASSED FIRST TRY... so they will definitely get the job done. (3/5)

If I could give zero stars I would. My experience with Canto auto school was so disappointing that I feel compelled to share my concerns and to hopefully prevent other drivers from wasting their money like I did. Im 18 and have had my permit and have been practicing driving for about a year now. I made sure I was comfortable driving before signing up for the road test. I paid $250 to be stressed out, insulted, and sabotaged by my instructor. My instructor Kate showed up 20 minutes late in a crappy car for an hour practice session before my test. the car was littered with used tissues, the gas peddle was weak making it difficult to drive and the wheel was difficult to turn. Overall the whole car felt unsafe. Before even driving, my dad told her that he had taught me everything I know and Im a pretty good driver and she responded with an eye roll which was the first red flag. She was frantic, rushy, and straight-up rude the entire time. She kept her foot on her own brake pedal so every time she barked at me to go, the car wouldn’t move right away. Then she’d get mad at me for not going fast enough— She did this every time she told me to go. On top of that, the gas peddle was also very weak making it more difficult to go as quickly as she was rushing me. The wheel was hard to move and because of that she would move the wheel for me further stressing me out. She gave confusing instructions, and when I asked her to clarify, she blamed her “lack of English” and then turned around and acted like I was an idiot. Instead of teaching me anything useful, she just told me over and over that I would fail and tried to push me into buying lessons from her company. Scammy and manipulative. I knew I was capable of passing so I denied her offers. As an instructor before a test, I feel like she should have been more relaxed and comforting. She was completely rude in her tone and words. After that freak show of a lesson we arrive to the DMV. I told her I was nervous and she told me to have the mindset that I would pass After she berated me the whole lesson and told me I would fail. When we get into the car with the tester, she immediately told her how much she hates her job and can’t wait til it’s over. She made it seem like she had the worst session with me and I was the cause of her stress. I stayed quiet and proceeded to take my test where I thought I had done really well. I supposedly “failed” for readjusting my parallel park more than twice, which wasn’t true—I only corrected once. Before the examiner could even tell me the result, my instructor jumped in with, “You’re just not ready,” like she was eager for me to fail. The examiner and instructor were buddy-buddy, which makes me believe my fail was influenced. Honestly, it felt like the whole thing was rigged so I’d be forced to pay for more lessons. This school is unprofessional, rude, and exploitative. They don’t care about teaching—they care about squeezing money out of nervous new drivers. If you value your time, money, and confidence, stay far away from Canto Auto School.

Fantastic school, after learning the basics at a rival school, I failed the test because they didn't train me well enough. However here I took about 6 or 8 classes and passed my road test without a hitch. Fantastic instructor, kind staff, and very good at teaching not only how to pass the test, but how to be a good and safe driver in general. 10/10

The car they gave to me had a steering wheel super hard to manipulate, they arrived late and not 20 minutes as we had agreed. I practiced with this car but the professor told me that in the driving test I will getting a new model car, same but new however I used the same. If it is supposed to be a driving school why they use those cars with hard steering, I would not recommend them and would give them a bad rating. Terrible service!

I recently had a positive experience with Metro Boston Driving School while preparing for my road test. I scheduled the test myself and was pleased to find that they were able to book a car for me, even though my test was just two days away. Their pricing was reasonable, and I appreciated that they didn't charge any extra fees for scheduling the road test within a week. During the road test, I had Peter as my sponsor. He picked me up from Malden and drove me to the Watertown location, where my test was scheduled to take place. Prior to the test, Peter took the time to go over important driving rules specific to the road test and patiently answered all of my questions. It was evident that he genuinely wanted me to succeed. Thanks to Peter's guidance and support, I felt more confident going into the test. His reminders of the essential rules helped me stay focused and perform well. I'm happy to say that I passed the test, and I credit Peter for his role in boosting my confidence and ensuring that I was well-prepared. I would like to express my gratitude to Metro Boston Driving School and especially to Peter for their excellent service. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking professional and supportive driving instruction.

Me and my mom have been going back and forth and with John. He continuously told us he was going to schedule with the RMV for the driving test and never did. We had the test pushed back over 3 times. He is very immature and unprofessional. He never confirmed any RMV dates with us and continued to tell us to wait. He had no problem telling my mom to find another driving school but couldn’t fulfill the services she had originally paid for. 1 out of 5 stars. Terrible experience! Never Again ! Update: I booked with another driving school and in doing so they informed me that the RMV had to bump my test again because the driving school never entered or approved my driving hours. I was with the school for 5+ months so I don’t understand why my hours were not already entered. My mother also paid for me to do more classes so I have exceeded the necessary 30 hour requirement with the school. Now John is not responding to any emails, calls or messages from my mother. This situation has affected me the most and I am absolutely disappointed with the unprofessional nature of this school and John as well. We didn’t ask for a refund but if I can’t get in contact with him that might be something I look into.

John, zee and his entire staff, were very knowledgeable, deatil oriented through my daughters entire process, they went an extra mile picking her up when transportation was not on our side. I took my road test with John and he's an awesome instructor. I took a 1.5 hours lesson right before my road test and it was enough for me to pass it. (Mind you, I had driven before so 1.5 hours lesson was basically to get me used to the roads and learn Parallel parking, 3 point turn and hand signals. So please if you haven't driven before take more than 2 hours lesson). Overall my experience with them was good and will definitely recommend them.

The drivers ed course was great, but there was severe lack of communication, and the owner kept putting off the next stages. I started it in the summer of 2021 and made it clear I really needed to take the test before college started in late August. Weeks later he scheduled me for it in early September and I couldn't make it to the road test. Now I'm registering a car and he didn't report anything to the RMV about me taking the classes so I don't get a break on my insurance. It was a waste of money

I had one road test lesson with Monica before going to the actual one. She was very supportive and patiently taught me to do parallel parking and many more. I’m impressed with this school. Highly recommended!

I have recently gotten my license after taking lessons at Jorge’s so I can finally write a review on this mess of a place. I took about 5 lessons here before eventually going somewhere else. The instructors themselves are ok but it’s not exactly safe to take personal phone calls during road lessons, regardless of how experienced a student is. Also I paid for an hour lesson so give me that whole 60 minutes, not exactly my fault you showed up late for it. The final straw as to why I left the school was when I had an 8am lesson with Boreth and he never showed up. I waited 20 minutes and he didn’t pick up his personal cell phone and no one picked up in the office. I was buying breakfast before class and he called a whole hour and a half after my lesson asking me where I was. I told him he was late and I couldn’t wait for him. He told me to call the office then to reschedule. I called that office three times every day for the next 4 days and no one picked up, doesn’t help either their voicemail box is off. Eventually I left an email through their website and got a response a day later asking me when I was available for a road lesson. I just didn’t care anymore to respond so I called Jorge’s Auto School who gladly took me in after a single phone call. So enjoy that free money from that road lesson I never got!

My instructors, Mr. Sim and Ms. Monica , were incredibly patient and made me feel at ease behind the wheel. They explained everything clearly and provided helpful feedback.

This is the worst experience i have ever had, the owner of the shop is not a nice person he shouted at people just because he was not able to find a booking time slot in his system, he threatened my friends. Also the women who i believe is the daughter of this man is the worst instructor ever they took money for 1 hour of the practice session but after half hour they said they cannot let people drive more because and when you ask for the money back they say that they have no refund policy. I lowkey think that these guys are in on with the authorities and they fail people on purpose, so they come back and mint more money out of people. 5 out of 5 people that have been here and i know them haven't cleared the road test. Please don't go with these guys, you can get value for the hard earned money that you've paid anywhere else but here. Save yourself some time and money and pick any other decent instructor in the city but not them. If you do choose them make sure they treat you like customers and not like they own the DMV.

Hello Guys, I would highly recommend you Sim's driving school if you have immediate emergency for sponsorship. They are the best person to hire for quick response and right person. The guy there explains you very well whatever you need to know for road test besides your actual driving expertise which of course you will need for any road test anywhere in world. They have kind of old cars but it is positive for road test as their cars are set up according to the RMV vehicle requirements.. So it is good!!! All the Best to all!!!

I have 2 teenage boys and have heard horror stories about some local driving schools, no callbacks, long waiting for road practice, etc. Put my faith and trust in Metro from reviews and so glad and so will you. They took care of all the arrangements, even the rmv tests. The awesome husband and wife owners communication was excellent, patient, caring and professional. They have a teenage girl and boy so they totally get it. And both of my boys passed the first time. Thank you Metro.

They refuse to talk over the phone, try to push the whole 700 USD online course on you, and if you dont wanna take the online course, they ditch you!!! - I was only interested in the road classes since I was driving back in my country and I have done all the safety lessons. To all my questions, the answer was that I could find the answers on the website. Not true! In every section in their website, there is a "contact us" button, that directs you to an email. So rude, so unprofessional.
