I had an amazing experience with My instructors, Mrs. Hedwood and Mr. D, were absolute lifesavers – patient, clear, and super helpful. They made learning to drive way less stressful than I thought it’d be. They broke everything down in a way that made total sense, and I picked up the skills way faster than I expected.
Great place, I like how the teacher explains and teaches us how driving is supposed to go and my instructor, Mr. D is like the chillest dude ever, you make a mistake but he explains what you did wrong and he doesn’t yell and he’s good at teaching. For some context, I’ve taken driver’s ed in the past, but never took my road test due to the 2020 lockdown. After years getting by without it, i decided I needed to get my license, but i wanted to derust first and get comfortable behind the wheel once more. Mr. Nimer is a great teacher, he’s very knowledgeable, kind, and patient. On our first session he offered immediate feedback and tips for my driving which helped me tremendously. He also emphasizes safety. I passed my test after about 8 hours of practice with him, including road test prep, standard on-road driving, and the highway. The cost is also reasonable considering the dedicated 1:1 coaching as well. If you are a student at the university especially , i really recommend A Plus for helping you prepare for your test. 👍
Got my license today! I took my lessons with Nadia. She is amazing and helped me improve so much! The first time I took lessons with her we drove for 2 hours to see where I was at and then she came up with a very clear and detailed plan for how many hours I needed to be ready for the test. She was very kind throughout our lessons while still being firm and clear with her instructions. I learned a lot from Nadia and would definitely recommend A+ Driving School to anyone who needs help with improving their driving.

Mr. Walker is so nice and patient. He answers all questions and answers them well. The classes are small so you get to do small groups and games while also learning how to drive and how certain tasks disrupt your driving. Everybody is nice and polite and helpful with you. They are flexible with scheduling and they want the best for everyone. I had a great experience, all instructors are very calm and patient and truly care for the students. Mr. D pushed my fears and created a safe environment where I feel like I have truly grown as a driver in only two weeks.
This program really helps teens learn how to drive safely. The teachers are nice and patient, and they explain everything clearly. It made me feel more confident and ready to drive on my own. I would definitely recommend it to other teens learning to drive.

This a no B.S. school. They won’t waste your time and offer all the hands on training you will ever need. Like anything else, you get out what you put in. LT and Rupee are probably the best teachers/instructors I’ve ever worked with and I cannot express how easy they made the entire experience. I passed my CDL-A on my first attempt and this is with no previous experience with a Manual transmission truck or trailer backing. Icing on the cake is that they’re more affordable than other schools that I contacted when looking around. 10/10

Mansib driving school instructor is really nice and gentle with us whenever he takes us driving. As long as you behave he won’t have a problem with you. His class is pretty easy as long as you focus and read the book. I’m glad I went to mansib.

Kyle Bonnell was very patient, and gave detail instructions/explanations before and after the road testing. He used calm tones, and clear, simple language which I think really helped eases drivers (especially teens) anxiety! I highly recommend him without hesitation.

I had been struggling to get my driver's license for almost 10 years, battling my fear and anxiety of driving. I tried different instructors in two different states, but they only added to my fear, and I couldn't get behind the wheel. Then, I took a few driving sessions with Mr. Sal. From the first moment, I felt calm. He started with non-crowded areas and the basics, gradually adding more as we progressed. During those sessions, my confidence built up, and I realized how important a good instructor could be. Mr. Sal is polite, understanding, helpful, and patient. He always motivated me without pushing me too far, allowing me to decide when I was ready for the next steps. I took the driving test and passed on the first try because I had practiced enough, especially the parking part of the test, with him. I definitely recommend Mr. Sal to anyone who wants to learn how to drive confidently.

I highly recommend Sharon M as a driving instructor in the Ann Arbor area! She provided excellent driving lessons to my daughter and went above and beyond to ensure she completed her lessons on time. Sharon was not only skilled and knowledgeable, but also incredibly helpful and accommodating with our schedule. She truly cares about her students' success and made the whole process stress-free. We're very grateful to her for all her support and for being such a great instructor and person!

We have been dealing with not being able to schedule drives with instructor all summer. State requires 30 days past class ending for these students to have drives completed with their instructor- supposed to be available first day of class- it’s been far past that 30 days and he’s just now getting his 4th and 5th drive in and they scheduled the next another month out. They are in non compliance with our contract and refuse to refund. Their lack of instructors shouldn’t be the issue of our students and shouldn’t jeopardize their experience of proper drivers education. To schedule these students so far apart is a huge liability on their learning to properly drive. If we were in breach they take our money and we have to start all over- but if they are in breach they DO NOT offer refunds. I personally will be contacting my attorney to figure out the next steps.

Ron is a great driving instructor and I highly recommend him. I had no prior experience of driving in my home country and Ron patiently taught me the basics of defensive driving, giving me ample practice in multiple situations on the road along with really helpful advice for the driving skills test. After 12 classes I felt confident to appear for the road test, which I passed without any issues.
Ron was amazing! I get really nervous with parallel parking, and had failed my test once. I got really helpful tips from Ron on how to approximate and use landmarks to create a mental map of where I should stop or turn for parallel parking during the test. I highly recommend Ron, he is very accommodating, and flexible. I am very grateful for his help!
My 18 years old daughter told me that this school is the best. She has had 3 driving instructors from 3 different driving schools in AA. Ron from A-1 Wall Drive School is the best instructor. Ron is very patient, gentle, and sweet. She took the driving lessons from two other schools (one has only 5 stars reviews on Google and the other one has 4.1 stars review on Google) Although A-1 Wall Driver School has 60 reviews on Google, he has a lot of experiences. Other driving schools which my daughter attended only offer 2 hours driving practice, but Ron offered her one hour lesson. His hourly rate is $70. My daughter passes the road test today after practicing 3 hours with Ron. I will definitely have Ron to teach my youngest daughter and also recommend him to my friends.
After a few lessons with Ron, I was able to pass my test on the first try. Ron was experienced, professional, accommodating, and friendly. I felt comfortable learning with him, and he gave me lots of extremely useful advice during pretty much every lesson. He was also very obviously extremely experienced with both the roads in the local area, as well as the testing routes and practices used by the nearby driving examiners. I would recommend his services to anyone and everyone.
Ron is very patient and knowledgeable. I was sure I made the right choice after the first class. He knows how to put you at ease even if you've never driven before. He has a system of teaching that helps you learn easily. I was able to feel confident on the road after 4-5 classes and after a few more classes. I was ready to take the road test. I passed the road test in one attempt afterwards

I recommend to go to metro driving school because it teaches how to drive good and safe and I got to learn more rules about my driving and got experience
I took lessons here for about a week and my driving anxiety was gone. My instructor taught me the three parking components that are part of the road test, which i greatly needed. I had little practice before getting on the road with my instructor and they were helpful, patient, and supportive throughout the entire process. I took my road test maybe 2 days after I finished up my lessons with them and passed on the first try. My only regret is not posting this review sooner!!
I started driving school with a nice professor. They teach me everything that I needed to know, from the start to the end. The car is clean, and working perfectly. I also struggle a lot on parking, but my professor teach me bit by bit to improve how I park. I really enjoy learning in here.

I felt very comfortable and that I was learning critical skills and how to be a safe driver. Ammar was very easy to work with, incredibly helpful and it was easy to follow his instructions. With Ammar’s careful instruction in the passenger seat. I felt in control and calm behind the wheel. I was also provided with up to date information about drivers safety, laws and regulations. If you are an adult trying to get on the road and you need an instructor this is the place to go.

Ammar is very dedicated to making sure his students gain have a good understanding of the vehicle and are comfortable navigating the road. If you're aiming to get your CDL, I highly recommend 160 Driving Academy. The Flint location was an incredible experience. From Ashley, the Enrolment Specialist, Conner and Chelsea, the Recruitment Specialists, to the supervisors Tom and Erin and instructors; you receive nothing but 100% support as a student here. Instructor LC and Instructor Penny taught me the most during my time here. Instructor Penny took our class out for drive’s on day one and the majority of our drive’s in the 48-53’ trailers. Penny drilled us on turning from the beginning and eliminated all self doubt driving in the city and on the highway. She also taught us a lot of useful skills we will need for our careers, such as fueling, how to navigate truck stops, securing our load with an extra lock or two to assure its destination, and tips for finding safe haven when parking your commercial vehicle. Penny definitely set the bar high for our class as well as setting the tone for our overall experience in the yard. Instructor Penny is incredibly knowledgeable and it is very apparent she loves instructing. Instructor LC took our class on group and individual (one on one instruction ) drives as well as drilling us on maneuvering. Instructor LC has truly made instructing his craft. LC took the exact same instruction that I heard from various instructors and worded it into a clean and concise formula that made concepts of driving/ controlling your truck & trailer very logical. I struggled A LOT on my turns and maneuvers until LC picked apart my areas of struggle and instructed me from various angles until the lessons stuck. Instructor LC is very patient, attentive, and both aware of when to instruct and when to let students think through problems. This man has truly mastered instructing. Special thanks to Instructor Kyle as well! Instructor Kyle will work with you no matter his schedule to give you that extra edge and confidence driving. Kyle keeps a smile on his face and maintains a high moral. Overall 160 Driving Academy has changed my life for the better! Aim high, stay dedicated, and choose 160!
I usually don’t leave reviews but 160 definitely deserves it. They took me from never driving a manual or a trailer to me being fast tracked and passing my test on the first try. I want to thank all of the instructors there because it definitely is not a one man army and I know I hounded them all with questions lol. I will say if your truly want this you have to work on it consistently and intentionally and their team will show you the way. 160 in flint is definitely the place to go for your cdl!

Keith was an amazing instructor. I am an older adult driver starting out and he made the process extremely easy and effective. He will teach you everything you need to pass the road test on the first try. He understands the test process inside and out. He is always early to pick you up and will guide you through the entire process, taking the wheel or brake when needed to make sure you feel safe your first time out.

Highly recommended driving school for adult learners! I had the pleasure of learning from Mr Benbow, Mr Hampton, and Mr Pruitt who were all so patient, kind, and understanding. I’m extremely anxious and they helped me build my confidence and feel more comfortable behind the wheel. They all had the most comforting and calming demeanors that really helped me ease into driving even if I was just with them for a few days. Words cannot express how much I appreciate all three of them!
My experience was amazing. Mr. W not only made the class and BTW lesson fun but he taught it in a way I could actually understand. Every question was answered in a way everyone could understand. Mr. W made sure students were okay while they were driving and that means a lot. He has a big heart and cares for his students. I will forever be grateful for that experience. I had such a great experience with this driving school. I had Mr. Conte as my teacher and he made sure that everything was explained to the class and answered every question a student had. Mr. W was such a great behind the wheel instructor, explained things word for word however many times I needed. I also had Mr. MC Hampton for a few behind the wheel lessons, great at making sure directions were clear. I came from 3 hours away for lessons and the instructors were very accommodating to make sure I got all of my observation and behind the wheel hours done. Overall, the experience was wonderful and I definitely feel confident going into segment two at any other location.

Well when the teacher tells you that you only gonna learn the basics that's it. I just passed my test and the test it was rough but I made it and I haven't alot to learn from here. The teachers were very helpful and some rough days here and there but I've learn so much and come a long way. At the test today it was alot of being anxious and being a bit nervous. Thank you very much for everything.
Instructors are very well versed in trucking. Gretchen is excellent at pre-trip and Rick and Randy teach well. Nothing good comes easy but if you try hard you will pass.
*****Do not spend your hard earned money here*****This place sucks and should be closed. It's very toxic here. The trainers (I don't know how they call themselves that) should really be ashamed for not teaching a student from start to finish. The state need to investigate this place it is other places in grand rapids where your money would be best spent.
This 160 location was definitely worth it. I highly recommend. I went through this location twice first to get my restricted CDL class A and then I went back to get the restriction off my license. They definitely taught me all the skills needed to pass the state test. In both the automatic and the manual. So whatever you prefer to get 160 is the place to get your cdl class A

I would not recommend this driving school. I had three different instructors who taught me. Not the same one. On top of that, I barely practiced parking and only had 30 minutes because the lady acted like she had an attitude. Even though this happened a while ago, I wish I would’ve did more research on finding good driving training.
My father hasn’t driven for over nine years and wanted to get back out on the road again so I contacted Motor City Driving Academy. His experience with Motor City Driving Academy was excellent they were so very patient with my father they sent me videos for him to watch so he knows where his mistakes were and he can correct them. They have done an amazing job. Thank you Motor City Driving Academy.
My son just finish segment one. I have to say that I was very pleased with the virtual class. His instructor, Ms. Coletta was the best. She was very patient and offered a lot of compliments and constructive criticisms when my son came back from his in car driving lesson. She also offered some suggestions to me as well when I am driving in the car with him. If you are looking for a driving school I would highly recommend Motor City Driving Academy.
I chose this driving academy mainly because of the reviews and I must say the reviews about this academy are so right! My instructor Ms. Ross made me so comfortable, I was able to overcome my fear of driving within a weeks’ time. I appreciate the hard work she has put to get me to perfect my driving skills. I got my driver’s license in one go and I nailed the parking without a single point cut 😊. All the credits go to Ms. Ross to build the confidence in me.

Both my brother and I utilized polyservice driving school. I came to the school for private lessons after attending driver's training at a different location and not learning much. I wanted to gain confidence in my driving and practice to take the driving test. The owner(man, cant recall his name as this was about 10 years ago), made me feel completely comfortable because I had a lot of anxiety about driving. And I feel very confident in my skills now. After my positive experience my brother went through the whole program about 5 years ago from start to finish and really liked it too. In fact he is even better than me at driving, prob because he had a better foundation than me. So I highly recommend this place to learn how to drive and gain confidence in your abilities. They really do a good job. For all the negative reviews.. every program has its flaws. I have tried other programs(courtesy, solomon) and these people were by far the most helpful in my opinion.

Rite Way Driving School was excellent-we did Segment 1 for my teen daughter. She said classroom instruction was informative, clear and provided great test preparation. Driving was safe with calm, patient instruction on a variety of road settings. The owner made her feel comfortable from day one. Since the class, she has confidently and safely practiced with us--we clearly see that great instruction shine through. I am so glad we found it and we will be returning for Segment 2.

I came to The Rite Way Driving School as an adult with basically zero knowledge of how to drive, but Mr.Bragg explained well, was calm and patient even with all the mistakes I was making, but today I took my first ever road test and I PASSED. We didn't have driving lessons here, but my teen took the road test and it was a great experience. The instructor Mike was friendly, kind, and explained everything clearly. His calm instructions eased my teen's nerves and helped make the test as pleasant as this potentially stressful milestone could be. And bonus - they passed! (But I feel like if they hadn't, Mike would have explained clearly and encouragingly what needed to change to be successful the next time.)
This is the worst place ever I had my driving test today with Claudia. She was very disrespectful and not helpful at all she kept yelling at me during the highway for a mistake she made she told me to take the next exit I tried to take it and she had the audacity to scream in my face saying "NO No No LOOK AT THE SIGN THIS IS EAST I TOLD YOU WEST" she did not tell me nothing specific she just said take the next upcoming exit and I did. She threw my drivers permit in the back seats instead of giving it to me she is very very disrespectful and kept complaining about the smallest things. One thing she took a point off for was me slowing down to 45 in freeway for trying to merge to the left while a car was ahead of me in the left lane, like am I supposed to speed up and hit the other car I don't understand? I did the right thing I would like to point out that she came 20 mins late for me while last time ldid the right thing I would like to point out that she came 20 mins late for me while last time I came 2 mins late and they made me cancel my appointment. This is the third time I tried with them very bad place I don't recommend it to anyone.
Such a great experience, both my lesson instructor and drivers test examiner were extremely kind and patient. Susie did my lessons, she was helpful and answered all my questions. I did my test with Mike and he was extremely nice and made sure to give clear instructions and feedback!

I scheduled my drivers test here because of the great reviews and I was very pleased with my experience. My tester was Simon and I was greeted with a kind smile and a calm but assuring tone which made me feel at ease. The driving test went great with him giving clear directions. I really recommend this place for your road test if you are even considering it.

Dean is an amazing and exemplary instructor. I was a relatively older student (22 years old) with zero prior driving experience, and Dean helped me to improve my skills quickly over the course of two weeks. He was quick to identify my issues and taught me the right skills and maneuvers in a way that suit me well. He is kind, patient, and straightforward throughout the process aimed at doing his best to help me to improve. In addition, he pays attention to my ways of thinking through occasional small talks, and taught me how to follow my own pace, relax, and think less as we progressed through the sessions. Best of all, he is very flexible and accommodating more than most other schools in this area. I had to cancel last minute once and wanted to schedule a lesson last minute another time, and he was able to accommodate both with understanding and at no additional charge. Go in with an open mind and focus on trying your best to learn and you’ll get a lot in return. I passed my road test easily after two weeks of lessons. And I’ve been making the same recommendation to my friends who are trying to get their licenses. One small piece of advice to students - make sure to take responsibility for your own future driving and ask questions about things you’ll need to know when you drive independently, such as how to turn on the wipers, headlights, hazard lights etc. as they may not come up if your lessons take place in nicer weather conditions. I highly recommend Chris Bates as a driving instructor. He was incredibly patient and kind throughout the entire process. My daughter had two adult two-hour lessons with him, and his thorough teaching approach has prepared her well for her driving test. His calm demeanor and clear instructions made her feel confident and at ease behind the wheel. Thank you, Mr. Bates, for your excellent guidance and support!
I had an amazing time taking adult driving lessons with Mr. Bates! Before, I had some unpleasant experience with driving instructors at another academy and I was pretty nervous to restart my driving lessons again, but Mr. Bates was really calm, clear, and made me feel comfortable behind the wheel with his instructions. He let me take my time practicing areas I'm not too confident at, and really patient throughout. He pointed out what might get you points deduction on the road test, and complimented when you got something right or did something well. Thank you Mr. Bates!

I was skeptical about letting my kid go here. We were in a crunch though because the school my other kids went to was booked. I was surprised to sign my kid up only to find out that this new school is ran by Mr. Bates who was my other kids teacher at the last school they went to. All my older kids went to his other school and loved having him as their teacher. He is a public school teacher during the day and knows how to talk to kids to make sure they aren’t too anxious. He has always been patient, caring and they still say him when we see him around town. He remembered exactly who my other kids were without me even mentioning them. The office is hard to find since he hasn’t gotten a sign yet, but it’s in a more convention location a g right off Lake Lansing Road between Harrison and Abbot. Ge had plenty of spots open since he started his new school, so you will have no problem getting in for now. I can’t say enough good things about Mr. Bates. My daughter was a bad driver and now she is a “BAD (Bates Advanced Driving) driver”.

On the move has been the most relieving, and enlightening experience for me. I can honestly say IT IS WORTH IT‼️ if you are in need take the courses, or the review and road test. I wasted my time with unique driving school as well I wasted my money! But coming here afterwards taught me soo much even outside of the test. It showed me how I should truly be handled. I was handled with care..Come here, and if you don’t know you WILL learn. Ms Faye was the best. She was so sweet and such a great teacher!! I absolutely loved my experience. Warren was amazing as well. And JOSH made my road test experience heavenly, I was so comfortable and he taught me a lot.. the entire experience taught me so much. I thank God for this company. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND‼️
What do you expect for the price 🤷🏽♀️smh ask all the questions don't miss any classes and pay more when u start then what they tell you or u don't get to drive a car!....wait I thought this was drivers training ????35 doller if your ride is late or miss a class smh. Best teachers! Mrs Faye and her other instructors were all very genuine people and extremely helpful in providing tips before the road test itself. Mrs Faye and her instructors even spend extra time and effort with me practicing the route before the test itself. You can tell they really do care. I tried the road test elsewhere two separate times and failed both. Being young it’s hard to get your license and practice consistently if you have no one to practice with you. This driving school gave me exactly that just a chance to practice and get comfortable. I’m a very nervous person naturally especially when it comes to tests and even I was calm and ready when the time came, thanks to the extra help and practice from Mrs Faye and her instructors. Honesty feel like I couldn’t have done it without them. If you’re a nervous test taker or just haven’t been having luck passing your road test. On the move driving school is the place for you.

I was very nervous for my road test but the instructor was very nice and friendly, that helped calm my nerves. Gave me clear instructions as to what to do during test. I tested with Denise P. She gave me feedback once the test was done to be a successful and safe driver. Highly recommend her :))
Went to go take my road test, got there 5 minutes before my appointment I went inside to go check in and the sign said to go wait in the back of goodwill. We went to the red cones and waited there for an extra 10 minutes before I had to get out of the car to ask what I was supposed to be doing cause NOTHING said anything about approaching anyone. I was supposed to be with Denise P she was EXTREMELY rude the minute I walked up to her I was very nice I said hi in a very sweet tone despite being irritated because I didn’t know what I was supposed to be doing. She then proceeded to tell me that she called my name 3 times when she in fact did not and said that she talked to the others that were there before me which she also did not do. She was extremely unprofessional and handled it with such disrespect. I have called at least 7 different times since to try and talk to someone about rescheduling or a refund and absolutely no response. This place is a complete scam I would NOT take your kids here.
I went to the address for a road test and there were no signs anywhere. Went around the building multiple times to try to find it. Found a door labeled Century Driving School and knocked but there was no answer. I called the number and it went to voice mail. Finally found some cones in the parking lot far away from the address and the tester was picking up the cones, and said that I was too late. I guess I’m out $55 and a trip across town. They should have signs, meet people at their address, or answer the phone to give directions. Very unkind business.
Instructor was nice and his accent made it a little bit more difficult to understand directions but I enjoyed taking the time to show case my diving skills.
Century was a great experience for my son. The instructors (Ron and Homer) were patient and provided helpful feedback as my new driver went through his course. Thank you!

One of the best teachers I've ever had for a driving course, He was a wonderful experience to talk to and really makes you feel comfortable while driving and giving instructions. I highly recommend this place for any new drivers or people who need practice!
Scared the hell out of me when I went in,barely lite,no tables 3 kids in chairs,coats on because it's so cold. Teacher had on 2 pairs of glasses, extension cords everywhere. Got out if there ASAP!
I wish i could give no stars. The day i was supposed to start it poured down raining. I dont drive so i called ahead of time to make sure the instructor would be there before i went out of my way to get an uber. The guy told me he was there and that yes the lesson would still go on. I got there and no one was there. No one answered the door and the phone that i called on just 20mins prior continuously went to voice mail(9xs) i called and knocked for about 30mins while standing in the pouring rain trying to get an uber to take me back to my home. So glad i haddent yet handed over my payment. Id rather take my money to a more reliable business
This place looks very shady and off putting I was scheduled for a certain time I got there and no one was there I wasted my time and money for an Uber to get here very unprofessional I do not recommend this place there are better more professional driving school so glad I didn’t give my money.
