Such a great experience, my instructor, the owner, was informative and passionate. They made sure that I understood what was expected from me and the road test. Very understanding and helped me get my license within a limited amount of time because I was leaving New York soon. Overall, I had a pleasure learning with the San Juan Driving team and owner. I would recommend this school to anyone who’s trying to get their license in Brooklyn.0

At San Juan Driving School, you’re welcomed with a friendly and lively family that all want the best for you, creating a comfortable environment. If you have scheduling conflicts, they will work with you to find a suitable time period. They will happily answer any general questions if you're uncertain of some things. I couldn’t ask for a better experience. I took a little over 20 lessons, and with each lesson, I began to gain more confidence and learn new skills. My instructor, Raquel, was the best, always encouraging, patient, and very profound. She offered me many helpful tips/advice that will go a long way when I finally drive on the road myself (Highly recommend her). If you’re in or near the area, I strongly suggest visiting San Juan, as they display their kindness and strong support in preparing you to pass your driver's test. When all’s done, you’ll learn a lot of new skills and see your driving improve too.

The teachers there are super qualified, patient and caring. Since I took my license with them I recommend them to everyone! Great driving school. Marcelo is a very good instructor, very skilled and great at teaching. He helped me with everything I needed, answered any questions I had, and makes sure you are 100% ready for the road test and any scenario that might happen.

Everyone there is kind, friendly and work hard with you and they work with your schedule! I unfortunately had to take the test twice but they were able to help me both times ! Their instructors are amazing teachers and very knowledgeable! I enjoyed my time there, and I was able to do everything in a month. I got my license in one month. Thanks so much to them.

Do not book classes with them was on the phone trying to understand how the classes work and a women was on the phone screaming because I asked a simple yes or no question I only needed one class before I take my road test and the customer service was horrible they are rude and disrespectful and hang up they phone the professionalism is unacceptable!!!

My son passed his test first try! He couldn’t have done it without George who thoroughly understands what’s expected on the test and patiently and kindly teaches it to students. George is a patient, kind, knowledgeable and amazing instructor. He’s funny and fun to talk to, and I thoroughly enjoyed and benefited from his methodical and structured teaching style. He fully prepared me for my road test and structured the lessons in perfect prep for the road test date. He provides secret tips and tricks that are super helpful and useful and that would definitely be beneficial with continued driving down the road. His sweet wife handles the scheduling; she’s very prompt in responding and molded my lessons/schedule according to my road test date so that I would be fully prepared up to, the day before, and day of my road test (they even book your road test for you and allow you to use George’s car for the test by the way- which most driving schools charge EXTRA for). His Mercedes SUV is such a pleasure to learn in and drive as well- added perk! It’s been such a pleasure learning with George, and I’d recommend all who want to learn how to drive in NYC (or refresh their driving skills) here. 1st SGT Driving Academy is a small, veteran owned business run by George and his wife, and if you’re considering driving lessons, definitely come here.

I took 3 lessons with Miguel and he was very patient and kind. I failed the first road test, but Iralda made it work for me to retake the road test very quickly again and then I passed! Everyone at Acropolis was very friendly and I'm happy I got my drivers license!

I had an excellent experience at Acropolis Driving! Having only driven a few times on suburban streets, I signed up for the 10 lesson package which was the perfect number of classes for me to feel comfortable driving in the city and on the driving test. Every instructor tailored each lesson they gave me to work on what I felt I needed more practice on. Each instructor gave me useful tips and clear instructions for parallel parking and three point turns that made both tasks very straight forward. They schedule and take you to and from your road test at the end of your lessons, which is very convenient. In addition to excellent lesson quality road test preparation, the whole staff is very nice, welcoming and flexible with scheduling. I had to change my class schedule after I first signed up, and they were very flexible and accommodating with that. The staff at the front desk were all super kind, communicative and helpful. The instructors were all patient and helped me drive with confidence. When the group of people I took my road test with left for the test, we were met with encouragement from the whole office. I highly recommend Acropolis Driving!

Hi, I officially passed my road test yesterday. When I say overjoyed it's an understatement. Thanks to Acropolis Driving school! The manager and my instructor Miguel has helped tremendously. Both of them made sure I received tips on how to retain the information I learned. They gave me tips to pass the road test. Prayer, driving lessons, faith, and YouTube videos helped a lot.

I had a great experience with this driving school! My first interaction was with Iralda (I believe the owner), and she was so friendly and welcoming. She answered all of my questions over the phone and made me feel comfortable right away. Since my permit was expiring on 9/23, I was in a hurry to get my license, and they were able to squeeze me in for 15 lessons in August. They even offered me a double lesson to help speed up the process. Lissy at the front desk was also very friendly and informative, and she made scheduling easy. My instructor was Marlene & she’s so wonderful! Very nice, patient, and helpful throughout the whole process. Thanks to her guidance, I passed my road test on the first try! I would definitely recommend this driving school to friends!!

Amazing experience here and all the driving instructors have good techniques and patience to make sure you learn how to drive safely and efficiently. Took their online course for $50, had an Instructor that made the procedures easy to understand for anyone. He had a very positive attitude and it didn’t feel like I was being taught by a robot. He has Humor but remained serious about the tasks that were learned during the 5 Hour. No complaints coming from me.

I took the 5 hour online course with Ellen, who was knowledgeable and engaging. She made what is a very long course more enjoyable. Not sure if she only does the 5 hour courses, but I would probably want her to be my driving instructor.

Joseph was great. Patient, friendly, feedback was explained clearly and positively.

I came into my first driving lesson scared out of my mind, only to be relieved of all anxiety by Joseph's calm and positive demeanor. He is supportive, informative, and reassuring. Ruki Auto Driving School in the Bronx is one of the best driving schools I have ever been too. It doesn't matter if you have never driven before or just brushing up to take the road test, Ruki instructors have got your back. They know how to explain driving techniques and rules in a way in which any individual would understand. Its really a personalized experience with them. I just passed my road test about a week ago and I got PERFECT SCORE on my first try. I previously went to another school in the area and failed twice. Just got my license thanks to Ruki Driving School! Great school for beginners, with friendly instructors. I worked with multiple instructors and each one was a great teacher. Ruki Driving School is truly amazing the BEST school in the Bronx. I needed to get my license in a couple weeks for a new job and the instructors were able to teach in less than a month!! I passed my road test on the first try. TJ was my instructor, and he is absolutely AMAZING. He is really patient, encouraging and really chill. I found this driving school after several failed road test exams. I had a lot of anxiety around driving and after some research, found Ms Everlina. She was so organized in coordinating the lessons and was never late! She took the time to explain every rule, technique and how to react in various situations. While strict and straightforward, she was also encouraging and kind. I don’t think I could have passed my road test without her and I’m going to miss our time together. She’s truly an one size fits all instructor and I would recommend her to anyone!

I’m reading all the reviews about people passing their driving test after 2 lessons. And that makes sense to you all???? He tried the same thing with me and I said NO. I did not pay $600 for me to take 3 lessons (without teaching me how to park yet) and take the exam!!! I wanted all of my 11 lessons!! And you all should want to take all your lessons too!! And due to that when I took me lesson the instructor failed me with 90 points!!! How does someone that takes 11 lessons and fail with 90 points???? Sounds like a set up to me!! I do not recommend this school!! Anyone that does not allow you to complete your lessons before taking an exam is not a good look to me!!! Take a look at my test!! How can I be going to slow but driving close behind someone???? See it does not make sense!! I got cheated out of my $600 and it sucks!!!

I took three driving lessons with Zetty and I passed the first time!! I didn’t drive before I took these lessons, so I was very inexperienced. It was my first time driving a car and thanks to Zetty's lessons I passed on my first try :) Zetty is the best instructor ever! she is patient with new drivers and truly wants you to pass. I had a great experience with agile driving school and my instructor Leo. I started my lessons while I was pregnant so I had many concerns but I wanted to get my license since I needed it to drive around my kids. The staff is very friendly and understanding and any concerns I had, they addressed it so that I wouldn’t feel worried. I had to take a break when I gave birth and resumed my lessons right after. I was worried about the lessons because of the break I had to have in between but Leo was so patient with me throughout my journey and I could tell he cared a lot about his students. And I passed the road test! I highly recommend this place. Everything went smoothly with them including scheduling lessons and making payments. I’m going to miss all the staff I’ve interacted with 😊

I would not recommend this driving school to anyone. My experience was incredibly frustrating from start to finish. One of my instructors, Angel, was unprofessional and seemed more interested in playing on their phone than actually teaching. There was very little actual instruction, and on one of my lessons, he pushed his seat back and started playing video games on his phone. On the day of my road test, he decided to step in front of my car while I was pulling out at the very start of the exam. Later, I had mentioned a unique request I was asked to perform during the test, and he unprofessionally and rudely referred to me as "bro" and said he had shown me how to perform that, which he had not. To make things worse, my first instructor, Leo, was just as bad and seemed to lack any formal training. He did not show me anything when I was behind the wheel, and would only tell me to make a left, right, or go straight. I was not shown how to hold or turn the wheel; I was not shown how to step on the accelerator or brake; I was not shown how to make a proper turn or look at my mirrors. I was enraged, disappointed, and knew I had wasted my money. It was clear that they were just trying to get a paycheck and get out. For a place that's supposed to teach safe driving, this was unacceptable. Overall, this school felt like a waste of time and money. You're better off finding a school that actually cares about your progress and safety. I went to another driving school and noticed immediately that the instructors were several levels above the ones here. Even the 5-hour driving course was FAR BETTER at the other driving school I went to. The only competent people there are Lenon and Flor. Lenon is a phenomenal instructor who will give you great feedback and teach you like a professional. Flor is another great person there who accommodated all of my requests and helped me all the time. These are the only people you should invest your time and money in, and anything else is a guaranteed waste.

My 16 year old son took driving lessons at Agile. He did so well with the driving school. He took 5 lessons and passed his road test!! The instructor Leo was amazing! Very patient , and calm. My son loved him! I highly recommend Agile Driving school. ☺️

Curve Driving School was awesome! Ian and Anthony were both super chill and really helpful. They made learning to drive way less stressful and were always patient and clear with their instructions. The 45-minute lessons were perfect — just enough time to stay focused and build confidence without feeling overwhelmed. Booking the actual road test through them was super easy too — I didn’t have to wait months like I expected. Now that I’ve finished, I’m super excited and confident to finally hit the road on my own. The perfect service. Ruben was great. And for the roadtest day, he arrived very early to secure the first spot for me and the other test taker. I failed my road test twice but I finally passed thanks to The Hudsun Brother Driving School. The previous driving school I went to in the Longwood section of the Bronx ( I will not mention the name of the school) didn’t teach me anything they just wanted the money and one of the instructors traumatized me ! I learned the hard way when they said the closest one is not always the best one. Ruben helped me build my confidence and corrected a lot of the mistakes I was making. Romeo is a great teacher, and immediately made me feel more comfortable, relaxed, and in control behind the wheel.I came to him after having tried a couple of other driving schools where the instructors' directions were not very constructive, and had left me feeling quite anxious and lost. Because of Romeo's friendly, and encouraging demeanor, and his captivating and precise instructions, tips and relatable guidance on navigation, spatial awareness, I felt so much more confident and able as the lessons went on. After a few lessons driving in NYC, I requested that drive to New Jersey so I could both experience how to navigate leaving the city, and driving on highways, and in NJ towns, as the experience differs quite a lot from driving in NY. This was super helpful as it gave me a wider view of what driving is like in different places, and was eye opening and educational to get out of my comfort zone and familiar roads I had been driving in Harlem and the Bronx. Before the test Romeo and I went to the test cite to go over how that all worked, and am very happy ot say I passed my test on a first try. I would very happily recommend Valentino driving school to anyone looking for a fun, safe, and empowering driving school experience. Romeo is a good man, and a brilliant teacher.

If you want to get your License and not waste your time and money this is the place to get it done. My weekdays are busy so Romeo agreed to pick me up on the weekends at 4:00 Am and teach me everything I needed to know for the road test. I passed my road test on my first try. Ask for Romeo he will take care of you , he also speaks English , Spanish and Turkish . He’s funny , patient , an excellent instructor, and always encouraging.

Romeo is like no other teacher I have met before, he would pick me up at my house at 5 in the morning to take me to practice , and he would also record everything I do so I could keep watching it until the day of the test. You really do get your moneys worth out of this school and service that he gives. Definitely recommending this to anybody who is a new driver.

Since I started taking driving classes, Javier has been an incredible instructor. He’s been extremely patient, kind, and encouraging throughout the entire learning process. Whenever I do something right, he always makes sure to point it out and tell me I’m doing a good job, which really helps build my confidence behind the wheel. Javier explains everything clearly and never makes me feel rushed or stressed. His positive attitude and support have made learning to drive a much more enjoyable experience. Absolutely unprofessional and unacceptable experience. Jessi Driving School demands full payment upfront even before scheduling your road test. Once they have your money, it becomes nearly impossible to get a confirmed date, and you’re left calling repeatedly just to get basic updates or reschedule. Worse, if you’re unable to attend—no refund is offered, no matter the reason. Instead, you’re met with rude and dismissive treatment, as if your time and money don’t matter. They also withhold your personal documentation (like 5 hours course) and make it difficult to retrieve anything unless you go in person and argue. Their behavior borders on abusive—completely lacking transparency, basic courtesy, or professionalism. This is not how a driving school should operate. I strongly advise looking elsewhere if you want honest, respectful service.

So my daughter took 15 lessons right then the instructor told her take two more so now that 17 in total I paid over $1000 in lessons for my daughter to take the road test and fail then I asked my daughter every time you took a lesson with the same person. What did he tell you she told me that he kept telling her every day the lesson he was given her you’re doing great you’re gonna pass don’t worry if so, you are the instructor you’re saying this that means you have confidence that she’s going to pass and why does she fail? I felt I felt you were just bullshitting huh making money from me and you wasn’t really doing your job so I went back to the school and asked what do we go about? They told me you got paid for more classes again full price.

I regret to say that our experience with ABC School of Driving was extremely frustrating and disappointing. From the outset, communication was unprofessional and rude. Every time I reached out, I was met with an unpleasant tone, which set the tone for the rest of our experience. One of the biggest issues was the constant switching of instructors. We were never assigned just one instructor for my son, which caused a lot of confusion. Each instructor seemed to have a different approach to teaching, making it difficult for my son to grasp consistent techniques. Despite my requests for a single, consistent instructor, they were unable to accommodate this, and appointments were spaced over a month apart, which only delayed progress further. In addition to the lack of consistency, the instructors were often impatient, and when my stepson made mistakes, they raised their voices at him, which was not constructive. Instead of offering support, they seemed more focused on demoralizing him, which only added to his anxiety behind the wheel. We were also repeatedly told to practice more between lessons, which, while understandable, felt like a way to deflect responsibility for the lack of progress during the lessons themselves. Overall, I would not recommend ABC School of Driving to anyone looking for a positive, supportive, and consistent driving education experience. My son deserves better, and we have now found a different school where he can have one instructor, more reasonable pricing and consistency.

Lucked out finding this spot. Perfect Park Driving School was a great experience from start to finish. Monty and Denise are great instructors that made me feel safe throughout the lessons but their greatest strengths are instilling confidence and calming nerves. As a completely new driver, they got me ready for the road test in 5 lessons! I had all but one of my lessons with Monty and I have to say his teaching style is top notch. In addition to his expertise, Monty is also a friendly and personable instructor. He has a great sense of humor and is always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that his students are comfortable and enjoying their lessons. The school was also able to schedule my road test with a pretty quick turnaround once Monty and myself felt ready(after 4 lessons). I opted to have my last lesson right before the test and it was a great to practice all the maneuvers right before. Robert, who drove me to and from the road test was PREPARED! He has his own index card with tips and pointers for the road test and was able to answer any question I had about the test. I passed my road test earlier today with only a 5 point deduction. I drive a car for many years before I move to NYC. Then I did not buy a car and take subway only in Manhattan. Recently, after a couple of years of stop driving, I decided to get the drivers license in NYC. I failed my exam with my first driving school then I decided to change the driving school. I read some reviews on Perfect Park Driving School and decided to take lessons with them. It turns out that this is a great school !!and I 100% recommend them. The instructor ( Mr. Matis) is one of the best instructors ! He is professional, encouraging and answer every question that you may have. The whole school staff is super kind and supportive. The day of my test, I have Robert to highlight for us all that needs to be attentive and careful about and I passed my exam. Thank you Perfect Park Driving School!

I started my driving journey back in December 2024 but later the entire school was destroyed by a burst water city pipe that flooded it the whole building so I called the school for my money. They assured me everything will be taking off. They were there every day working from a car making sure every student was assisted. Thank you Webster School!! First off with saying fidel was my instructor. He was a great guidance, well instructed, understanding, very patient throughout all my driving classes! His availability was very flexible with mine. •very accommodating. On my first day he distinguished what level i was on driving more like an orientation. He has great beliefs in people's potentials and definitely let's you know if you need more additional classes or not. I only took 4 classes . I used to drive in cars with my permit but I didn't know the main rules for a road test and that was our main focus but I had other concerns and he addressed them aswell. I will be using alot of techniques he taught me throughout my driving journey 🙂 I wish I've done this sooner!
