I was really happy with the service I got today from Francis and James. They were both really nice, patient, and thorough with directions while on the road. They took my appointment within 30 minutes I was technically a walk in because I just called before hand and asked if I could take a test that day and everything worked out 30 minutes later very smoothly. Unlike other places didn’t have any availability today. Their service made me comfortable and calm which was the most important for me because I forget certain things when I’m nervous or think the instructor is nervous or not confident in me but both guys reinstate confidence into me as a driver and as a person and let me know that they believed in me . I definitely recommend their one hour driving lesson service. It was the only way I was able to pass today, thank you both !
The most friendly driving school I’ve been to in the USA. Even if you only speak Spanish, they help you with very easy-to-understand English, and I recommend paying for the warm-up before the driving test. I did the knowledge test course and passed on my first exam attempt, instructor Francis is very knowledgeable and took time to explain. I also did 2 hrs drive with instructor Patrick and passed my skills test on my first attempt.

I highly recommend the driving school. I drove one hour with Patrick then Francis examined my driving skills. Patrick was excellent. After the session, I ate rice with coconut peas which was a bonus because it was lunch time for the staff. They were kind enough to invite me over. Bless your hearts!

My son is on the spectrum and we signed up for the Individual Driving Plan - and it was well worth it. Every person we worked with (instructors, schedulers, etc) were patient, caring, and made sure my son had consistency. His main instructor, Josh, was just amazing. He helped my eldest with staying calm and always spent time with me going over everything that occurred in the lesson. Just a fabulous, kind, patient person. Thank you Josh!
Overall I had a good experience with Defensive driving. I had my warm up and driving test with Erin. She was great and very calm especially while I was giving the test. I passed my test in first attempt. I was worried that the instructor is going to be rude but Erin surprised me. However, 5 class package I took before my test were ok. I had Issac as my instructor, he was good for the most part but only problem I had was learning to drive hand over hand while turning the steering wheel. Issac was very particular about hand over hand use which I was not comfortable with. And finally I never learnt it and I drive just fine 😀
My daughter had a great experience with Isaac. His attention to detail, patience, and consistent coaching really set her up for success. I didn't know the best way to teach her how to get started on the highway, and Isaac just did the best job of teaching her how (and I got to listen in!). Highly recommend. Thanks Isaac! I would pay attention to deadlines and cutoffs for drives and testing. They are very strict.
Probably the best driving school you could do. Clay was the one who taught my classes and I found him to be enjoyable, he made the class engaging and interesting. The instructors who sit with you on the 5 drives are all super nice too. Customer service is also super fast 90% of the time. Issac Kim, one of the driving instructors is also a really funny guy. Makes the required drives more fun
I cannot recommend Isaac highly enough! I just passed my driving test yesterday, and I owe it all to his exceptional instruction at Defensive Driving School in Issaquah. From day one, Isaac made me feel comfortable behind the wheel. His teaching style is patient, encouraging, and incredibly thorough. He has this amazing ability to break down complex driving concepts into easy-to-understand steps, whether it was parallel parking, navigating busy intersections, or mastering defensive driving techniques. Good school, every instructor was kind and firm about the subject. I think one of the most important things about teaching is patience and that was definitely displayed here. While the fee for retaking the test was cumbersome it also served as motivation to do better. The staff including instructors were all so polite and friendly that am glad I went here! This review was pretty delayed since I passed but this school is definitely not a bad choice

This is a great driving school for new learners. The instructor is very patient, helpful and communicates extremely well to the student. There is a core fundamental of practicing at this school and he will always help you improve while also having a positive mentality, even if you make a mistake. Took my skill test at the center. Mr Hussein was the ideal examiner, calm and kind. Got the results immediately, and the license from the DoL within the hour. I would recommend this center to nervous drivers. The area has a few roundabouts and I enjoyed driving along those. Parallel parking, backing up along a curb, parking on an uphill and general driving awareness are all tested. If one has practiced for a few weeks the manouevers becomes habit and the examiner certainly puts you at ease. He is also available to answer queries by phone, and updated my results to the DoL immediately. Overall, a very smooth experience.
My instructor is friendly and very knowledgeable person. I am fortunate that I got him and taught me every detail of the course. I highly recommend this driving school to everyone! Truly an amazing experience!
I would say this is the place for anyone who is looking for driving school who wants to learn very safe & secure! I took my written and driving test here very friendly/welcoming place. The instructor was very patient and calm. Most importantly, he provides clear instructions to demonstrate proper techniques. He uses simple Concise language to ensure the student understands the instruction, and show the student how to perform various driving maneuvers, Such as parking, changing lines and making turns. Signing up here was easily one of the best professional decisions I've made. I'm retired military and have had several jobs since leaving the service and finally found myself considering a CDL. I started the class in early April and I just completed it on 3 May 24. I also took the additional HAZMAT class with Drive509 which is part of the requirement to get an endorsement for hazardous materials on your CDL. I came into this class with absolutely no big rig experience and I was very nervous but I was very willing to learn. It did NOT all come easy to me, but I stuck with it anyway because if it were easy, then everyone would be doing it. There is an abundance of knowledge between all of the driving instructors and all of them are committed to sharing that knowledge with you in order to make you a safe, effective, and proficient operator. All of them have years upon years of driving experience under their belts and it shows. I am greatly appreciative of the knowledge that all of them shared with me because even though some of it was difficult for me, they managed to get me trained well. It was worth every bit of struggle to learn what they had to teach...and they are VERY GOOD at teaching you if you're willing to listen. When you arrive, take everything you think you know about big rigs and throw it out, and then listen to the instructors. They know what they're doing and you will too if you complete the training. If you're even thinking about it, I encourage you to walk in and talk with Brenna, Olivia or Anna...just GO. Especially if you're a veteran with VA benefits. The enrollment process could not have been smoother. GO...get signed up and take the training. It will be the best investment in yourself and your career. Truck drivers are in extremely high demand and getting trained to be one has to be one of the most assured routes to financial stability that I can think of today. I heard accounts of students having jobs waiting for them before they even finished the course. I raised an eyebrow at that and figured it was the exception rather than the norm...until I graduated. I finished the class on 3 May, I drive tested on the 4th, picked up my license from DoL on the 6th...and I interviewed for and obtained a job that I had applied for on 30 Apr. Yes...you read that right. I applied for a job on the 30th of Apr, and I got hired for the position on the 6th of May. And yes...they DID call the school to ask about me as a candidate. So, show up...do the work...listen to the instructors and you will leave with a skill that can land you a career very quickly. Embrace the struggle...it will be worth it!!!
Just finished my CDL training with Drive509 and I cannot recommend this school enough. The owners, staff, and instructors were all amazing and gave me the correct tools and training needed to not only pass my state final exam, but to be a safe & professional driver out on the road. I had a great experience at Drive509 Spokane CDL School. All staff and instructors were very professional, friendly. Most importantly, all instructors were extremely patient no matter how long and how many times it took for me to get better at my driving-practice and other learning maneuver practices no pressure was there at all. Their mean focus and goal was my success at the time of my final tasting. I thank them all very much for all the effort they had put in me and all the other students. The result of all that effort I sussesfuly passed my final state exam.
If your looking to get your CDL I highly recommend this place! I recently completed the 160 hour Class A course here and from start to finish it was a fun experience. All the staff members are very helpful and friendly, happy to answer any questions and willing to work with you if your not quite getting it. The driving instructors are also a big help while your practicing out on the road, each instructor teaches you something new.

Well for starters. Spokane cdl school has 4 of the best instructors hats off to pat, Alex, kim, and Howard. If you pay attention and work hard these four guys will bust there butts to help you succeed, All 4 has Givin myself some words of wisdom that I'll remember forever. If your looking to get you cdl, I highly recommend this place. They are all great and just down to earth good people.
I graduated from this school, just passed the exam and got my license. Wonderful school, excellent conditions, extremely friendly, responsible and professional teaching staff. During the training process, I closely interacted with the school director Howard and instructors Alex and Patrick. I saw that even those who came to study without English at all, the teachers taught everything that was necessary to prepare and pass the exam, and also laid down the initial skills of the profession. A lot of practice, enough time and opportunities to improve lagging skills, be it pre-trip inspection, backing or driving. I recommend this school to everyone and thanks again to all the instructors!

I came here after not being able to take my last test at no fault of theirs, and many places were too booked out for my liking. I managed to find out about Interstate after doing some looking around and found they had openings fairly soon and had good reviews. I booked an appointment and when I came in for my test, the building was well organized, spacious and welcoming, as well as all of the staff I met, especially my instructor Jake. He was incredibly friendly and descriptive with what he told me regarding my test. So immensely appreciated to see that level of going the extra mile to make something so stressful into something a bit more manageable.
My driving instructor, Jake was very kind. He answered my questions (the ones he was allowed to) he explained to me in depth what I did wrong, and made sure I was safe. I felt really good taking this test and he helped make me feel less nervous and more comfortable

I went to class here at 2023 and I would not recommend you take classes here because it’s usually basics that you already know, and the teacher didn’t explain or say that there will be an exam in the end of the class to determine if you pass and he didn’t explain anything about the driving lessons I had to figure that out all by myself after I finished my classes so it was a longer process. Then sometimes I would check my phone and he would tell people to pay attention which I also don’t understand because I payed for the class and if I want to check my phone for a split second I am allowed to do so because I payed to go there. Then when I took my driving test I did everything perfectly and the lady who was supposed to grade me I came there and she was finishing up with another student and she failed him, I overheard. I really do Believe she was failing everyone and here is why, when I went there I did everything perfectly I drove very carefully I had driving lessons and practiced a lot all night before this test I practiced because I was so stressed and nervous and when I was driving she wouldn’t even stare at the road she moved her head all the way to the side window to see how close I was driving to the edge like it isn’t gonna look normal because you are not looking straight ahead and I was going on this scary road that was all curvy and I was curving and she thought I was going to hit the side of the sidewalk she was only looking at the side window and then she didn’t say anything, but immediately just grabbed the wheel and moved all the way to the other side which was scary because I was driving on the right side of the road and there was a car right next to me so she would’ve actually caused an accident by doing so and what’s even more ridiculous is that she didn’t say anything she Immediately just grabbed my wheel and moved it, and I just looked at her in like confusion because I didn’t know what just happened and that’s how I failed my driving test, which was ridiculous. I came back with my mother, and the instructor a man, he looked at the footage and agreed with the lady but it made no sense because it was a curvey uphill road and I’m grateful he gave me a free second try. That was nice of him but I really don’t think that lady should be working if you are that scared and constantly checking the side window more than Looking straight ahead don’t be a driving instructor for student drivers. She should be fired because she also did not pass the boy that was before me And then didn’t pass me so she definitely is not letting people pass. The second time I did my test, my mother was following me in her car the whole time and I think she noticed because she kept looking back lmao. And I’m so happy she followed me the entire time because yes, I passed the second time. I think the only reason I passed is because my mother was following me in the back with her van.

Had an amazing experience with my driving instructors, Jeremy and Joe. They were incredibly patient with me, especially since I tend to get anxious and nervous around other cars. Their calming demeanor, encouragement, and motivation made all the difference. Thanks to their support, I was able to pass my driving test after just 5 lessons. DO NOT GET THE RUSSIAN/UKRAINE LADY! Shes unprofessional and 9/10 she's not going to pass you. It was my first time taking the test and she gave me a 76. I retested the next day with a different instructor and passed with a 88. My new instructor was amazing! I forgot her name but she was the absolute best! She made me feel really comfortable. So the 5 stars is for her.
During the practical driving exam, instructor Oksana behaved unprofessionally. Instead of providing support and constructive feedback on mistakes, I experienced humiliating remarks and a disrespectful tone. Such behavior created additional stress and negatively affected the result. I believe this attitude is completely unacceptable for a driving school instructor.
Just passed my driving skill test today. The workers are patient and nice. They don't rush you or push to much to the point you get distracted while driving and make unessary mistake.

Safety first was ab amazing experience. Good and fun teachers thet help me learn how to drive safely and without soundig condescending. I know he told me not to use his name but Scott was an amazing drving instructor and hepled me brush up on my bad habits. He also didn't only do this because he had to, but because he genuinely loves it. If you want to have a more personal driving experience n i woukd recommend Safety first.
My grandson enjoyed the driving course very much. His instructors were great. They made him feel safe learn without being nervous. He practiced driving and used everything they tought him. Great job Safety First Driving School.

Great training, well organized. My only complaint is my daughter did well on all her drives and it took two tries for her to pass the drivers test. She ended up with an instructor she had never had on any drives and had a far different and more rigid approach to the level she needed to be at. Even the test she passed she didn’t get marked down on the same things she did with this instructor. Although, I like the approach this instructor has, it needs to be consistent across all instructors so it doesn’t just show up when they get to their drivers test. My daughter basically shut down and lost all confidence with her and did not perform to her ability.
Our experience with 911 driving school was excellent. The class was detailed and included all the information needed to learn the rules of the road. Our main driving instructor, Cindy Bull, was a patient and knowledgeable teacher. The ease of scheduling drives and testing made the experience very positive. I would recommend this school to anyone to help their new driver learn how to drive.
My son and nephew took driving classes and instruction with this driving school and we have been very happy with the results. They took the weekend class taught by instructor Cheryl Higgins and she was incredible! She was so energetic and so excited about what she is teaching that I think the kids really liked her and responded to her well. My son had time in the car with several instructors and they were all very good with him, but I have to say he enjoyed his time with Mrs. Higgins the most! The class was very thorough, I learned things I didn't know about driving!! As I said, the instructors were all very good. The office staff was great too, very helpful and willing to answer all questions about the whole licensing process. Thank you for taking such good care of my boys!!

911 Driving School is a wonderful organization. The kids get to learn from former police officers, who know what it's like out there. The staff is kind, helpful and have a great sense of humor. I can't recommend this driving school enough!! My sibling and I enrolled at the same time and had a really great experience learning to drive at this school. The main instructor Warga is an amazing instructor, he is very knowledgeable and was always clear about what he was looking for, he is teaching people to be the safest drivers possible! It was also very easy to schedule drive times. Tests also had scheduled times which was great. The online classes were also great, they taught practically everything you need to know to be a responsible driver. Warga's wife (who is also an instructor) was also very professional and friendly, we always had great experiences with her!! Overall, The instructors are very knowledgeable, professional, and so nice too! They teach you everything you need to know about driving. This school is definitely worth your time, and I would recommend it to anyone learning how to drive!!

I had the absolute best experience learning to drive with Ofelia. She is not only incredibly skilled and patient, but also has a wonderful sense of humor that instantly puts you at ease behind the wheel. What makes her stand out is how genuinely encouraging she is—especially toward women who may feel nervous or hesitant about driving. She creates a supportive, fun, and empowering environment that makes learning enjoyable rather than stressful. I recently took my behind-the-wheel driving test at this driving school, and I had a great experience! There was a man with long hair and glasses (unfortunately I forgot his name) who helped me. Even though I don't speak English very well, he was incredibly professional and made sure I felt calm and confident during the test. Before the actual driving test, he even gave me a short lesson, which was very helpful. His attitude and support made a big difference for me. I can't recommend this driving school enough - they're absolutely worth every penny! My wife, who isn't a native English speaker, was pretty nervous about the language barrier before her test. But honestly, the instructors were fantastic. They were incredibly patient and supportive, speaking slowly and clearly while explaining all the driving techniques. What really impressed me was how they handled the language difference during the test. They simply slowed down their speech and used clear instructions, which made all the difference. This meant my wife could focus on showing her driving skills rather than worrying about understanding the instructions. Even though she had a license from her home country, the US rules were completely new to her - yet she nailed the test on her first try! The whole experience was fantastic, and it's clear they know how to work with non-native English speakers. If you're looking for a driving school, especially if English isn't your first language, this is definitely the place to go. Five stars all the way!

The driving school classes are very well organized. Class sizes are small, allowing for more student engagement. Many driving schools conduct classes over Zoom, with large numbers of students. When Malaika was in the car driving with my son, he reported she was very consistent with providing feedback, and the feedback was very helpful. She was also very patient. My interactions with her at parent information night and also through texts (providing updates) were also great. She responded to texts very quickly. I would definitely recommend this driving school, located near the junction in West Seattle.
My daughter just completed driver’s ed with Malaika and Time to Drive located in the West Seattle Junction. I can not recommend Malaika enough! The small in person class size is great, Malaika keeps the students engaged. She is very dedicated to teaching teens to become well versed, defensive drivers. Excellent, prompt responses to my questions and my daughter’s progress. My daughter had a great experience!

I’m an adult with a lot of driving anxiety and have avoided driving for 8+ years despite having my license and I’m glad I found Malaika at Time to Drive! I’ve had 3 individual adult drive lessons so far. She eased my nerves and I can feel the confidence building/returning. I had experienced a scary freeway drive with another instructor at a different school so I was feeling especially hesitant. Malaika helped me feel more calm, focused, and safe. Malaika was very accommodating around my schedule, fitting me in a lot sooner than other schools. I’ve tried two different instructors (from different schools) in the greater Seattle area and Malaika is by far the best one! The Goldilocks of instructors I’ve found. I appreciate the specific tips and info she shares and I don’t feel overloaded with info like I’ve had with previous instructor. Provides guidance and structure while also not being too overbearing and rigid, or vague. She was also entertaining which makes the delivery of information easier and drives more enjoyable. I appreciated the drive car was clean and that she keeps things hygienic by having students wash their hands before entering the car. 5/5 would drive again

CDX is a very comprehensive driving school I felt as if I learned everything I needed to know and with my knowledge I was able to pass the DOL knowledge exam with no problem. The instructor is a very knowledgeable and kind Woman. Not only did I learn a lot but I also had a fun and engaging experience and learned something new everyday.

I really appreciate my road test instructor, Marat Murzamuratov, for being professional, responsible, and very kind. Since I mentioned that my English wasn’t very good, he made sure to explain each instruction clearly and always double-checked that I understood. He was patient and respectful throughout the test, and his detailed feedback afterward helped me a lot. I’m truly grateful for his support and encouragement. What’s more, he told me what i should do with detailed instructions after i passing the test.
So grateful to the 911 Bellevue driving team. Janelle was an incredible instructor, patient and cool-headed, and I thoroughly enjoyed my growth from unfamiliar to confident behind the wheel, eventually passing my drive test perfectly. I would highly recommend this for any beginner/completely new drivers. I passed my Driving test just by completing 10 lesson course without any external practice. The tips given by all the instructors are extremely helpful not only for the road test but also for real life driving. In my experience, I took classes under Isaac, Debo, Marat, Victor, and John. Majority of my classes were with Isaac and I liked the way he prepared me with some real world scenarios by practicing different road situations. Debo and John were very calm and understanding as well. I took Mock test and road test with Marat, he is very good and gave some beneficial tips to keep in mind during test. I did not have a great experience with Victor as he would rush me into taking actions even when I wasn’t confident; however he did teach me parallel parking in an easy way.
I took 5 adult classes with different instructors (Victor, John, Brian) and they were all awesome and helped me stay calm while driving. They're all really cool, patient instructors who will make you feel at ease. I also took my road test+warm up there, with Isaac, and I can't recommend it enough. He gave me great tips for the test, and he explained everything extremely clearly before starting the actual test. He also went over my point deductions explaining them and how to do better. I passed both written and road tests on the first try thanks to their great instructors and examiner!
Instructor Marat is doing his unprofessional job during driving tests . Always recommend warm up (which needs extra payment )before tests and failed me by unfair rate on my driving test. I’ve gone to other driving school and got my license approved ( i passed it just after 2-3 days after my fail with Marat)

I needed to exchange my foreign license for the local one and had an excellent experience with this driving school. I passed both the knowledge and practical tests there. Eddy was helpful and friendly during the knowledge test. I also took a lesson and a practice test with John, who is contagiously chill and really helped calm my nerves. I definitely recommend this school; the service was great.
I got my driver license today! If you're looking for super patient instructors, you have to book a lesson with Eddy or John. I'm in my 30s, and I'm a very nervous person, so it wasn't an easy task to build up my confidence, but they did it. Some extra points: Eddy speaks Spanish, and John has a contagious chill and kind attitude.

I recently took the adult driving lessons, with pick up, at this school and it was a wonderful experience! I also got my license! I did most of my classes with Dino and he was amazing, very patient and thoughtful, and I am far from a good driver 😜 I also did my driving test with John, he was very friendly and made sure I was comfortable and not nervous 🙂 The driving instructor picks you up and drops you at home, so this is a really good package if you find it difficult to make time.

I had great experience with Roadsafe Driving Academy team, specifically instructor Umal who made all my driving challenges history. He was patient and knowledgeable. I had a trouble understanding reverse parking and parallel parking but with their demystified approach, I mastered all those parking techniques and grateful for him. Freeway driving has been tough on me, but after I drove few times, it came manageable. I would greatly recommend to this Roadsafe Driving Academy. Ps. Another plus point for Roadsafe Driving Academy is that it locates next to Light rail stations- Othello and MLK stations which was very convenient for me as I live in Downtown Seattle.

I was very nervous and anxious coming into this kickstart class but Shawn Grimm was awesome! He was very knowledgeable and super helpful. We traveled from Bremerton for this class, 10/10 recommend.
Very disappointing experience — not beginner friendly at all I recently took the WMST Beginning Qualifying Course, which is advertised as suitable for people with little to no experience. Their website says, "This permit level course offers the basics of motorcycling and rider safety skills at a pace that is appropriate for new riders, or riders returning to motorcycling." As someone with no prior motorcycle experience, I expected patient instruction and gradual skill-building. Unfortunately, that was not what I received. 1. Unhelpful and stressful instruction Within the first hour, I was struggling to ride in a straight line. Instead of offering guidance, my instructor, Tao, repeatedly threatened to remove me from the class, saying, “You have to ride straight or you can’t be in this class anymore.” This was not only unhelpful, it made me extremely nervous and discouraged me from learning. 2. Removed from class too early I was pulled from the class less than an hour in—just as I was starting to get the rhythm and keep up with the rest of the group. The reason given was that I didn't have enough control and could be a danger to others. If safety was a concern, there was plenty of space in Boeing’s parking lot to let me continue practicing at a distance. At the very least, I could’ve continued with the classroom or written portions of the course. 3. Equipment not suited for smaller riders A major issue was the bike itself—it was too heavy for me. As a smaller woman, my arms were shaking after just a few turns, and I was physically exhausted. When I raised this, the instructor simply said, “That’s the smallest bike we have. If you can’t turn it, you can’t continue.” If your equipment isn't suitable for a range of body types, that should be clearly stated in your course description. Maybe even include weight or strength recommendations. 4. Concerning gender outcome About a quarter of the class were women, and not a single one of us passed. That’s not just disappointing—it raises questions about whether this course is truly accessible or inclusive for beginners of all backgrounds. This course is not beginner-friendly. If you don’t already know how to ride a motorcycle, you will likely be set up to fail. It’s marketed as welcoming to novices, but the instruction and structure say otherwise. I don’t recommend this course to true beginners, especially if you’re smaller-framed or need real support while learning.
I did the Kick Start course. Great course for beginners, 10/10 recommend. The instructor, Jasmine, was exceptional and had us building on skills as the course progressed. My skills by the end exceeded my expectations as someone who never rode a motorcycle before. It was also very informative about safe riding. If you’ve never rode a motorcycle before this course is a great place to start:)

I just passed my written/knowledge exam! I’m super happy, and I passed the second time. The teacher is really dope & chill, the classroom environment was great. I failed the first time with 10 questions wrong, n passed the second time with only getting 3 wrong. THANK THE HOLY LORD. I was so happy and excited, I didn’t run to my moms car crying this time bahahaha (the first time I took it was in maple valley I got 12 wrong I was literally devastated) I’ll be back here to take my drivers test here, I hope it all goes well, I have more faith in myself getting my license now. I’ll be sure to keep my review updated for when I DO get my license. So far I’d give this place more than 5 stars & I’ve already recommended this place to some of my friends :3

The instructors here are fantastic. They really know their craft. I had very little experience with a manual truck and Andre helped me gain a ton of confidence. He taught me a lot of real world clutch skills that will help me drive any truck I drive later, not just what I need to know for the test. Milan was excellent on our road tests, he was very patient with me dispite the dozens of times I stalled the engine. I left there with my CDL and better driving skills.

I had a great experience with Decisive Driving! The drives were extremely helpful and all the driving instructors are super kind. My teacher, Jason, made every session engaging and fun with his stories and how he handled any little mishaps (like the trolls) that came up. Even though classes were online, it still felt personal and enjoyable — especially with his daughter Aria and her jokes every session. Honestly, Jason was one of the better parts of my weekends.

Hands down the best schooling for future success on the roads. Our daughter is now 20 and we can honestly say she's cautious, respectful, and a responsible driver. I recently moved to the US and was used to driving on the left side, so adjusting to right-side driving was a big change for me. The instructors at IDA Driving School helped me break old habits and get comfortable with the rules and flow here. They were very accommodating to my preferences, even though their slots are in high demand, and they were always responsive to calls and emails, resolving any queries quickly. The driving instructors trained me with a personalized approach — starting from the very basics all the way until I took my driving test. They focused on my weak areas, helped me build confidence, and prepared me not only to pass the test but also to navigate everyday driving in Washington, including freeway driving (even though that’s not part of the test). I truly appreciate their professionalism and guidance, and I highly recommend them to anyone learning to drive here.

Everything about IDA just MAKES SENSE! I love how the booking system is so easy to navigate! The website was super helpful & informative—I just followed the steps from taking the knowledge test to booking driving lessons and finally the driving test. It made the whole process of getting a driver's license easy to understand. I took lessons and the road test with Manthew and Joyce, and they were both professional and friendly. They gave me practical tips and clear feedback, which made a huge difference in my driving skills and helped me pass my test!

After having had offputting experiences with other driving schools, Zaheer was a welcome breath of fresh air. His warm up lesson was relaxed, reassuring and informative and his overall manner before and during put my nerves to rest. Between car maneuvers, he paused to comment on the beautiful weather, and invited me to breathe deeply to ground myself and enjoy the present moment - yes; the test!. He’s a wonderful instructor and person and I would recommend his school above all others.

My Son attended in 2015 when it was formally named Centerline driving school and now my daughter attended in 2023. They both enjoyed going there. I thought the signing up Process was easy. Scheduling drive times and exam times was easy. Barbara, who works there is awesome. My daughter loves her and says nothing but great things about her.
Kramer and Rhea were great!! Learned a lot and had fun. great place to go for drivers ed. I personally took the online course and I'm surprised on how they made online so enjoyable. I feel so much more comfortable with driving and everything was very informative.
My teen really enjoyed the instructors, especially Rhea. We were able to go through the classes, written test, and drives in under 4 months. The trick is to set an alarm or whatever and check at 10am/12pm Thursday for the schedule to be posted. They get snapped up by the end of the day. So yes, if you're checking Friday-Wednesday you will have trouble finding prime appointments.

Currently signed up and no behind the wheel driving lessons available until December. Classes for this group began at the end of September. If you want to pay this company over $700 only for you to teach your own student how to drive yourself then sign up! They sign up LOTS of students for their Zoom classes and then cannot provide driving lessons to these students until 2 months after they complete the Zoom class and tell kids to drive 2-3 hours with their parents a week during the Zoom classes and do not offer nearly enough driving classes to go along with the Zoom classes. Quite the business model to make the $. Insulting to customers and students. I suggest going to Burien or King Driving. This is unreal. Very frustrating and extremely dangerous.
They were very professional! I am telling this after they did not allow me to write my first knowledge test because I was late. The instructor was very detailed and observed every move I was making and guided me very well! I would recommend this driving school to everyone and anyone who wants to drive safe and be safe on the road!
YOON MY GOAT!!!! The only thing that made class bearable lmao. I took a zoom class and even when it was slow at times it was still pretty good. The videos were funny so that’s a plus. It was an end of the day (6:30-8:30) class on busy school weekdays so I might be biased, but I was always very bored and tired. The driving instructor in training Yoon was amazing and fun with good personal stories, and the scheduling were pretty good :)
I did both my knowledge test and my driving test through the West Seattle branch. They always responded to emails in a prompt and professional manner. Marty was great as an instructor. Everyone here is kind and respectful. Can highly recommend!! EDIT: I wanted to add that Anjah has been super helpful right from the start when I needed to schedule my knowledge test. My experience at this school was actually better than previously expected. The instructors made sure I had the knowledge of safe driving before taking any of the tests needed to obtain my license. The instructors give great advice, plus they say things twice so you understand or miss out. This school is also low paying than the other schools out there. First Pass Driving School is a must go to place if you want to learn to be a safe and responsible driver!
First Pass Driving School prepared me for everything on the road. Moha and Moalim taught me all I needed to know and led me step by step to getting my license. Also they’re very funny and reassuring. Theres no better driving in Washington!

I just passed my driver’s skills test today and had such a great experience! My examiner, Scott, was incredibly kind, patient, and professional. He made me feel calm and comfortable the whole time, which really helped with my nerves. The process was smooth, and he explained everything clearly. I also want to give a big shoutout to Bella at the front desk—she was so friendly, welcoming, and helpful from start to finish. The positive energy from both Scott and Bella really made the experience less intimidating and more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place if you’re planning to take your test!

Test ends and i was not sure if i pass but yes i pass it with some deferred point. Christian point my mistakes and 100% i agree on them. Very objective and professional. I took my skills test twice in this location. My instructor is Gary, who is very knowledgeable, understanding, and patient. He made sure I was comfortable and safe the whole time he was conducting the test with me. On my first attempt, I was very nervous because I had to use the company car and made plenty of mistakes, and I failed. In the end, Gary took his time to explain what I did wrong and what I could do to improve my driving skills. I listened to all his advice and practiced and passed! It's such a great experience, and I would recommend PSS, especially my instructor Gary, to all my friends and family.
We have three children and each has attended a different driving school. This was by far the best one that our children have attended! They deserve 5 stars. Thorough education, patient instructors, very communicative. They have online scheduling of drives and reminders both sent to email and text so that the parents are fully aware of appointments. I highly recommend this quality school. If they had been around for the other kids I would have sent all three there.
I'm taking the driver's education as an adult. The teachers are great and really care about your well being and getting you as prepared as possible for driving. As far as pricing they are substantially cheaper than the other places around here. They do driver's education, private classes, motorcycle classes and WA state tests (written and skill). Terry, Gary, Vickie and Jason have all been absolutely wonderful teachers. Couldn't recommend this place more.
Gary/Terry are great! My brother and I did their drivers ed course and we both have a lot of social anxiety normally, let alone when it comes to learning how to drive! We felt very welcomed and encouraged to learn at our pace and we got a lot of one on one time with Gary and were even able to schedule our drives with the two of us to make us feel even more comfortable. I highly recommend and I have been driving for a year or so since. Very lucky to have had the opportunity to learn from them and very grateful for the extra mile they put in for individuals going through the course.
Knowledge test and drive test wise, this school is definitely the best! Their knowledge test was very comprehensive and easy even though most of the questions didn't came up on what I studied online. As per the drive test, I had to retake the test twice here- first was with Gary, while my 2nd attempt was with the other guy. Overall, they were both lax, professional, and patient so if ya'll are looking for a driving school that will make you feel at ease so you can pass the test, this is definitely it! 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

Just got my license today from swerve! Was so nervous for my test but had Robby as my instructor and he made it so much better. Took the Motorcycle beginner class here. My instructors were Rocky and Rip, Rocky was like the experienced grandpa with endless stories to tell, and Rip was one of the calmest people I've ever met, seriously being around him alone will make you less nervous. Most of us had never been on a bike before, and people made mistakes, we had one classmate even go off the court and into the grass, but they didn't get agitated at all. It is a intense two days, if you've never been on a bike you will be sore from holding one up for 5 hours two days straight. They had great loaner bikes, including rebel 300's which is what i rode on. Really don't be nervous, they make the exercises harder than what the actual test requires so when your learning with them and getting anxious about "Oh i can just barley not do this u-turn i hope i pass the final test!" You get to the final test, and its a breeze because you have a extra foot or two of space! Ended up with only -3 on skills, and got 50/50 on written. Great way of teaching. Anyway, here's the bike i bought after passing :)
I Enjoyed Going To School Here So I Could Ride My Bike.
I took my three wheel endorsement class here a few weeks ago. It was awesome! The instructors were always very clear and supportive. Three wheel outfits were provided and we got to ride for four plus hours each day; be ready to ride a bunch. The nice thing about all of the riding goes back to the type of instructors that work here; we practiced very specific sequences until we all got it. All of the sequences built on the last, so by the time that you're asked to do 10 things in order, you're ready. I would highly recommend Spokane Motor School.

Took a beginner motorcycle class. The instructors were knowledgeable and offered personalized feedback to make me a better rider! My 2-day class was over the weekend where we had record breaking high temps (over 100) so for day #2 the instructor and entire class agreed to change the start of the class two hours earlier and the instructors did the classroom time in the afternoon instead of the morning. BOY what a great decision on such a HOT day! Their flexibility, feedback, and just real life stories made for a great time. I've already scheduled my next class with them!
