I had an excellent experience with Ilango’s Pilot Freedom Accelerator Pay-As-You-Go Plan. He was communicative, prompt, and incredibly organized throughout the entire training process. Always willing to help! His clear, goal-oriented approach and detailed instructions made each lesson productive and easy to follow. Thanks to his support and guidance, I passed my road test on the first try. One of the things I was most nervous about was parking including parallel parking and they became much easier thanks to the focused and effective teaching techniques. Ilango is a great teacher and very patient while teaching. He made me an efficient driver in just a few classes. Although I knew driving from India, which has an opposite traffic rule, his training and driving tricks made me comfortable to drive accordingly to the US traffic rules. I was hesitant to try parallel parking, but he made me practice it such that I was able to demonstrate it very well during my driving test. His efforts and perseverance led me to pass my driving test with a score of 86 on my first attempt, itself!

The coach is professional and well prepared. He is very patient and coached me in an organized structural way. He clearly knows the testing rules and where I would lose points after assessing my driving performance. The best part is that he gave me explicit instructions to improve my driving and trained me in the neighborhood where I would take the test. All these efforts guaranteed me to pass the exam.

Todd is an excellent instructor! My daughter enjoyed her driving classes with him, learned a ton and passed her driving test with flying colors. The officer giving the test even commented on how well she did on parallel parking and I credit that all to Todd on teaching her that skill.

We didn't get driving lessons until after my daughter didn't pass the driver's exam. I wish we would have started with Premier!! Gene was so helpful in being able to communicate to her what needed to be done to be safe, accurate, and confident! The number one thing was the confidence he gave her. Made all the difference in the world when she was no longer tense and nervous!! Please don't wait to get lessons for your kids!! It is so worth it!! Highly recommend Gene as the instructor!!!

This was our first time having the privilege of working with Premier Driving Academy and we would recommend them 100%! We're not looking forward to our youngest driving, but we're glad he can learn from these instructors in a couple years. Everything was super easy to register, schedule, reschedule (they know how teen schedules are) and the feedback was really helpful. We loved Dan Bracker and even our neighbors who saw him come and pick up our student driver, commented on how impressed they were. Our student passed the driving test on the first try and had a good score. I can only say good things about our experience.

I came to Premier driving with a lot of driving fear, anxiety and honestly no prior driving experience. Todd was so calm, informative, and professional. Just one month of driving with the help and instructions from Todd I felt confident to drive around town with my infant which before premier I couldn’t even make it out of my driveway without having my husband jump in the drivers seat. Something that I never thought I could do was drive on the highway and be able to do lane changes now I don’t even fear the thought! After our course finished the following week I got my license with no issues! I was amazed at how calm and collected I felt during the whole exam. Everything in the exam Todd and I had gone over enough times to make me feel worry free while performing the steps during the driving exam. I’m one happy camper and now a licensed driver! Big thanks to Premier driving academy and Todd! I would 100 percent recommend to anyone!

Marty was a great instructor for my daughter. He helped to build her confidence and pushed her out of her comfort zone. Driving is such a huge responsibility and it was extremely helpful to have Marty’s calm demeanor while she was learning. Thank you, Marty!

Jade was really great and very friendly. I felt much more confident after the lessons and I took my drivers test today and passed! Would recommend to others. I feel more comfortable on the road.

I found learn2drive in July when I was trying to look for places to teach me how to drive so I could finally get my license I got my permit in August and started my lessons in September both Jade and Joe are excellent instructors they have great energy doesn’t make you feel nervous let’s you try new skills on your own timing on my third lesson with them this month I felt ready to take the drivers test and the 1 hour refresher definitely helped a lot before my test then I took the test and I PASSED I was honestly so shocked I’m still am honestly but just with 3 lessons and that refresher I’m now officially licensed at 19 it’s never too late to get started

I have had my permit for well over a year and a half, but I was way too nervous to drive behind the wheel. Honestly I thought it would be a long time before I was able to drive, but then I signed up for one on one lessons here. I met a very nice and patient man named mike, and I was never nervous to drive around him. He is extremely calm and knows exactly how to motivate you. If it wasnt for him, I probably wouldn't have gotten my license for another year or so.

My son had a very positive experience. He’s 18 and has been practicing driving since he was 15. But he’s has never had the confidence to be able to pass the exam. Jade taught him in a way that built his confidence and he passed the exam. I would recommend to all.

I had a great experience when I was using Learn2Drive. They worked with my schedule and helped me pass my drivers test on the first try. I never had experience with driving, and they were able to work with me on it. Great people, would highly recommend!

I was searching for a driving school to help me develop my driving skills because I had little experience behind the wheel. I found save drivers on Google and selected them based on their reviews. I went on two driving lessons with Coach Ken and Coach Williams. They treated me with such grace and patience. They helped me feel comfortable the entire time. They will undoubtedly improve on what you already know and teach you things you don't know. They’re also highly professional. I passed my test because of them. I can’t thank them enough!

Instructors don’t stop drivers from pulling into oncoming traffic and almost causing accidents. Car should be equipped with a brake for the instructors and the instructor should be paying enough attention to stop the car before they cut someone off, had I not slammed on my brakes when she turned onto the street, they would have caused an accident.

I had four coaches throughout my experience with this company but it was worth it. I booked my first class with them on March 5th and got my license today on May 17th. I was a bit nervous. I had some things that I needed to get together before the big day but with the help of Coach Tony, Matt, Gary & the owner himself Coach Williams I was able to do that. Each lesson I had was a learning experience and was much needed. So if you’re looking to get your license, I recommend that you book with them. They’re friendly and price for each lesson is reasonable. You won’t regret it, I promise. Thanks again, Coach Tony, Matt, Gary and Coach Williams couldn’t have done it without y’all.

Took a few lessons with savedrivers and all instructors were great but Gary really pushed me, told me to stop getting in my own way and pushed me past the doubt. I was able to get my license on my first try taking the test, which is something I didn’t think would be possible for me. Very grateful for Gary’s help and Safedriver’s!

We used Coach Matthews Driving School to assist in driving instruction for our youngest son. Having taught 3 of his siblings on our own, we identified that this one was going to be a little tougher and wanted some reinforcement. Our experience was incredible, the staff was so awesome to work with, and we couldn't have been more pleased! We are confident our son is "road-ready" and he passed on the first attempt! We appreciate their time, patient expert instruction, and additional support. Our son's coach even showed up this morning for a pep-talk and last minute walkthru. I think she was as excited for him as we were. Great job, to all - I highly recommend Coach Matthews Driving School for your new drivers!

Coach Matthews is 😍 amazing. She was always upbeat, professional and most of all, treated my daughter like it was her daughter. We wasted money on another driving instructor only to find out that we should have went with coach Matthews from the start. If you want your child ready to drive, she would be the only recommendation that I would make!!!!!!

Highly likely a scam. There's no way someone is paying more than $1.2k for 12-90 minute lessons on top of being there for the actual test. Much less all up front without refunds. On top of from what I'm seeing from another review, the owner seems to think she has the right to decline a student a different instructor just because her ego was bruised. Lol On top of her being willing to cover it up and hide her malpractice by neglecting to have cameras in the vehicles. Fun Fact: Students reserve the right to a different instructor without stipulations. Any attempt to prevent a student from obtaining a different instructor or putting stipulations on it is a violation of the student's rights and the company can legally be found liable. The owner has absolutely no rights or control, they gave those up when they became a business.

I highly and confidently recommend Coach Matthews to anyone who is looking for a driving coach. Her teaching approach is kind and made my nervous kid comfortable and by the end of her lessons she was confident to take her driver’s test. She passed her first time but more importantly Coach Matthews helped instill good driving habits in her. Thank you, Coach Matthews, for giving parents a piece of mind too.

Coach Matthew is a great coach. She Went through and explained the rules thoroughly. It was supper helpful for teen drivers.

Great coaches! Four lessons then a 94%on my test. Coach Tony was great for my final review and bringing me to the final driving test.

Professional instructors (Gary & Ken) and helpful lessons! Passed my drivers exam with a perfect score after taking three lessons, and that’s after failing twice before booking appointments with Safedrivers! For beginners, I recommend at least 2-4 lessons and intermediate, start with 1. Really ask questions about everything regarding tips on the driving test and what you need to work on because they are more than happy to help you. Don’t be afraid to tell the instructors what skills you need to build on so they can help you improve them. You don’t need to take many lessons since they mostly teach you the same skills, but you do need to absorb what the instructors tell you and consistently work on them after each lessons. Overall, I am satisfied with the service. However, I hope the price doesn’t rise too much further down the line so everyone can prepare for the drivers exam at an affordable price.

It has been a while, but my experience with Savedrivers was less than desirable. It was easy enough to book a lesson, but my driver, first of all, showed up 30 minutes late. Without getting too much into my story, I didn't get my license until I was 22 thanks to a genuine phobia of driving. You couldn't pay me a hundred bucks to drive across an empty parking lot, but I decided to finally get over it. After driving extensively with friends, I decided to switch to paid lessons until I was ready to test. Enter Savedrivers. The man who finally showed up was extremely ... let's just say irritating. When I would ask him questions, he'd refuse to answer, and he was super obnoxious with this metal pointer he had that he would loudly smack on the windows of the vehicle. As for the questions he asked me, when he wasn't on the phone, he wanted to talk about my faith and what it should be! I understand building rapport and such, but excuse me? Had I realized the religious front of this establishment I wouldn't have bothered with them to begin with. (Silly me for not pausing to think about their name.) I ended my lesson early and never called them back. With the help of a different company, I had my license within the month. Savedrivers is one of the biggest names here in STL for diver's Ed, but they do not get my vote of confidence, especially if you/your driver is at all nervous.

Hello everyone, this is the best driving school in the Saint Louis. Mr.WILLIAMS is a GREAT instructor, and they are really nice and indeed they work with you until you get the licence. I am from India and never drove a car in my life. I took 4 classes from another driving school, and attempted for the test, but I was failed, subsequently I lost my all confidence. Then I approached "SaveDriver Services", and I have taken another three classes with this school. I had an amazing experience first with Coach T and then my other lessons with Coach Williams. Really Mr and Mrs Williams were helped me a lot, and they taught me more techniques. Mr. Williams polished and finessed my driving skills in the last two classes, his humor and his calm, positive attitude helps a lot for me. He has a lot of useful information and his personality is the best. He encouraged me to go for the road test in third class, but myself I am not really confident on that time. In 4th class I have practiced 20 min, and he said "I am ready for the test". Really he motivated me with full confident, and I have attempted the test with their car, I made it with 96% score. Really I am so much thankful to both the instructors. I am highly recommending "SAVEDRIVER SERVICES" to everyone looking for a good driving school.

I had a truly amazing experience learning to drive with Coach William. He was kind, patient, and encouraging throughout the lessons. What I appreciated most was that he didn’t just teach me how to pass the driving test, he focused on building skills and confidence that I’ll carry for a lifetime. Amazing driving instructor. He's patient and he takes his time, not only to get to know how you drive but also to get to know you as well. He's going to embark confidence and determination on you that you might not have knew you had. I'd recommend Chris over anyone. Don't stop doing what you're doing! Driving was very nerve racking for me when I started but Chris was able to subside my doubts. His patience and words of encouragement is really what helped me become a better driver! he takes your concerns seriously and makes being behind the wheel feel easy.

My son needed some brushing up. He'd driven before, but not much. He wasn't comfortable enough to take the road test. After a few lessons with Ready for the Road Driving School, he's a confident, licenced driver.

The are not enough ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️to rate the personal interest, care and patience that Chris Harris has with his customers. As a parent, he was so flexible and went out of his way to be flexible and accommodating in providing the lessons. Chris became a great friend to our son. He had taken training lessons from another company; became so nervous and did not improve after 10 lessons. He had no interest in getting his license due to his fear of driving. Within 2 lessons with Chris, he was relaxed and looked forward to the lessons again. I can’t say enough about CHRIS HARRIS regarding his expertise, willingness to make a difference in a young man’s life and the PATIENCE that he displayed. In my opinion, you will find no one as dedicated to the end result of becoming a safe and comfortable driver. Our son received his drivers license on his first try. Chris allowed him to use his vehicle for the test and stayed at the license bureau anxiously waiting for him to return. As I said earlier, our son now has a new friend…and parents that will be forever grateful AND feel confident that he has been trained PROPERLY the laws of driving and the importance of safety.

If your looking for a driving teacher he is awesome! He helped me gain confidence I'm driving and showed me a bunch of tricks and tips on becoming a better driver! Was able to get my license today and I can't thank him enough for helping me! Will definitely recommend.

We had an excellent experience with Jim Pendergrass Driving. He was very quick to respond and scheduling was easy. He even came and picked my son up from our house for each lesson. I would highly recommend Jim for your driver's ed needs.

Jim went above and beyond with teaching our son to drive. He helped build his confidence level up and has prepared him for the driving test more than I ever could. I’m incredibly grateful for his patience and expertise!

We were very pleased with Coach Harder lessons. My son needed some confidence and the various coaches that met with him were great at encouraging him and working with him on the skills that were hard for him. I especially loved the service for the final driving test. Coach Jake met us at 7am and my son was able to get in one final lesson. Jake was great at making sure my son knew exactly what to expect. It was also so convenient that they had someone waiting in line for us so that my son was able to take his test quickly that morning. It was all over and done by 8:45am. My son passed easily and I would highly recommend Coach Harder to others.

Horrible experience - DO NOT RECOMMEND!! Pros: Easy to book. Fair pricing. Initial customer service was friendly and helpful. Website was informative and clear. Cons: COACHING - the whole reason a person books this experience for their teenager. Reassured my nervous teenager that this would be a great learning experience because she was nervous. Up to this point she had only driven very little around our neighborhood. Older guy showed up which I thought would lend itself to a “grandfatherly” coaching session - wow was I so wrong. The gentlemen hops out introduces himself and then launches into a weird series of driving facts and questions. I could see the look of confusion and terror on my daughter‘s face. I almost cancelled the appointment then and there because he just came off hurried and weird. He didn’t warm up with getting to know her or me. But I told myself it would still be good and tried to keep a smile on my face and reassure my daughter that this would be a good experience for her. We desperately needed the coaching and help. Several times I reiterated TO HIM that my teenager had NEVER driven on the highway and had only a very little experience driving. This is why we set this coaching session up!! Needless to say when the man came back, my daughter told me the very first place he took her was to the highway. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!? he terrified her she said. She cried three times, but was trying to hold it together and not look afraid. She cried almost all the way home. She never wanted to get behind the wheel of a car again. He was a horrible teacher I was also told by her, which is just so perplexing that he would do this, that he questioned her twice about how I, her dad, intimidated her. I cannot adequately type out how angry this made me and infuriated my daughter. My parenting style and wonderful relationship with my daughter has no business with a man we just met and is supposed to be teaching my daughter how to drive. This experience set my daughters driving confidence back for several months. We couldn’t even get her behind a wheel for months. It’s 2025 and this happened in the summer of 2024. It’s taken this long to get her comfortable driving again. DO NOT USE!!! Coach was late (not a huge deal but became more irritating after this whole experience) We should have gotten our money back from this experience but I didn’t even want to talk to this company again. The only reason I’m posting is hopefully to help steer someone away from this type of experience and company.

Best driving school in St. Louis. My instructor, Coach Tim, prepared me very well to take my driving exam and helped me become a more safe and confident driver, enough to help me pass my driving exam. Before I took lessons, I was a very nervous, adult driver, but now I feel less anxious and more confident, thanks to Coach Harder! The money spent is well worth it!

After failing my driver’s test twice at 16, I became really discouraged and never went back. Now, at 26, as of 4/30/2025, I’m finally licensed—thanks to Coach Harder Driving School! All of the coaches are incredibly informative, supportive, and willing to go the extra mile. They create a comfortable and encouraging environment, reminding you that it’s okay to be nervous and that it’s never too late to get your license. I highly recommend this company to anyone who’s lacking confidence or needs to build their driving skills. You can truly tell they enjoy what they do!

We had a wonderful experience with Excel Driving School, and our daughter scored 100% on her driver’s exam. The examiner said he could tell she had lessons and he even complemented her knowledge and skills that she learned. Jerry was her wonderful instructor. He was very thorough and patient. He taught her lots of tips that she can use daily and made her a safer driver. We give Excel 5 stars (would be actually more if we could) and would highly recommend them to anyone! Worth every single penny!! Thank you Jerry for teaching my daughter.

We used Jesse at Excel driving school to help our son after being referred by a neighbor. Jesse has great energy and relates well to high school kids. Our son was able to pass his driving test with a high score on his first attempt. Thanks Jesse!

Our family has two drivers who have learned from Mike at Excel and both experiences were five star for sure. Our first daughter has been driving safely for three years now and our second daughter is confidently driving herself and her sister to school for the first few days of school this year. While both daughters approached driving very differently (one highly confident and ready to go and the other much less sure of herself), Mike met both where they were and gave them the instruction they needed to have the appropriate amount of confidence and the tools necessary to be safe, responsible drivers. The lessons begin and end at your home and take place in the vehicle that the student will be using. Mike really takes the time to find out where they plan to drive the most. They get plenty of practice in those places, but also they mix it up so that they get used to adapting to new environments too. When our next child is old enough, we will definitely call on Excel again!

John took such great care of our son as he moved through each lesson. He learned so much every time, and explained the "why" and purpose. It definitely boosted his confidence in driving and he was able to pass his test the first time! Thank you!!
