Amazing school! Instructor Stan did an amazing job! My son got the driving license right after he finished his 9 classes!
Josef is a great instructor and know his job very well. He is very dedicated and professional. I really appreciate his calm personality with positive attitude towards teaching. He observes your every move and makes you practice on the required things. His honest feedback helps you to improve and correct your mistakes. Scheduling classes with him is very easy as well. I passed my driving test today and had a best learning experience with Josef. I highly recommend OEDS and Josef!
I took driving lessons with Josef and Trini. Can't thank them enough. Had a great experience with both of them. They made sure I wasn't nervous and anxious and were very patient with me throughout my driving lessons. Boosted my confidence alot. Would highly recommend them for a great learning experience. Thank you again for all the help!
We had such an amazing experience with Oregon Elite Driving School. Josef is fabulous to work with, and all the drivers my son had made him feel comfortable and successful while still teaching him. We originally chose those route because traditional driver’s ed courses wouldn’t work with our schedule. But I think we will go this route again for my other two boys when it’s time. Thank you, OEDS!
I would like to thank Oregon Elite Driving School in helping me to learn a quality defensive driving skills. I got the opportunity to learn the driving skills with Trini. She is a excellent teacher who taught me all possible ways to be a defensive driver. She is very knowledgeable, polite, patient and friendly instructor. I felt like I got a very customized training from her based on my weak areas. Gradually, I was able to improve all those areas with her guidance and today I am very confident driver. I cleared my DMV driver test. I would also like to thank Josef Robleto for helping me to get a very flexible timings and schedules. It was very important for me to balance it with my work schedules. I wish Oregon Elite Driving School a great success a head. I will highly recommend their behind the wheel lessons.

As a student I can say that do a great job! The class is very informative, the instructors and friendly, and overall it’s a fun course :)
Very helpful class, the teachers do a great job of teaching the essential skills needed to drive and more. Very easy to communicate and plan drives with as well.
Jose did such an amazing job with our son. Our son was a little apprehensive when he first began, Jose taught him information, and most importantly why that information was necessary for his safety. This really helped our son become more confident driving!
I had 4 lessons with Mr. Jose Gonzales and i highly recommend him. Amazing teacher with a great manner, very calm and professional. I felt thoroughly prepared for my drive test with ODEC and passed on the first try.
Lo mejor de todo es la forma en la que explican las preguntas que van a aparecer en el examen, ya que usan ejemplos y se hace fácil relacionarlo con ejemplos y recordarlo. Gracias a su clase pase mi examen auper facil

I would highly recommend doing your behind the wheel drivers test through pacific driver education rather than the dmv. super nice people!! My instructor was Skip and he was a very down to earth guy, he gave outstanding instructions during my portion of the test and explained at the end of the test how I can overall better my driving ability’s on the road even though I passed with little errors!! It was worth every penny to do my behind the wheel drivers test through this company.
This place is the place to go to take your driving test part in getting your drivers license. Drivering Instructor was friendly and gave out clear directions that was easy to follow. And afterwards will give you constructive critisism in areas of your driving that could use improvement if he spotted any. I showed up for my 10am appointment and was out before 11.
Had my kiddo do her driving test with Pacific Driver as it’s impossible to get it scheduled with the DMV. Pacific was reasonably priced, it was easy to schedule, and most importantly the driving instructor/test person was really kind and knew how to put a teenager right at ease immediately. He also gave her a few tips to help her continue to improve. Would totally recommend
Steve was amazing!!! He tested both my kids today and made them feel very comfortable. He explained everything well and made us feel safe. The process From start to finish was very easy and went seamlessly. Thank you! We have two happy drivers. Cheers!
I took my driving test here, I was super super nervous, but my tester, Skips, did a great job of making me feel comfortable. I passed first time! I felt super comfortable, it didn’t even feel like a test, it just felt like I was driving and someone was giving me directions. I was nervous about using a different car, but he told me how to use everything and gave super clear directions. It felt nicer than driving my own car! Would definitely recommend taking your test here! (especially if the DMV has no available appointments like it did whenI was trying to schedule my test.)

Great business. Personally didn’t have a bad experience. Staff were very professional. I failed my first drivers test so I experienced two different examiner's. Both were great and professional. Didn’t make me feel bad for failing or ridicule me. I recommend this place to all who need DMV services.
Unfair treatment and poor experience — especially for non-native English speakers I had a very disappointing experience at Pacific Driver Education. If your English isn’t perfect, be prepared for unfair treatment. Gerry Asato, one of the examiners, is especially unprofessional and biased. He seems to target people with limited English skills and makes the test much harder than it should be. While most people are taken on a standard 15-minute driving test route, Gerry takes his students for 25–30 minutes, making the test unnecessarily long and stressful. And guess what? Almost no one passes with him — no matter how well they drive. It feels like he has already made up his mind before the test even begins. It’s clear that some instructors at this school are not interested in helping people succeed but rather in failing them and collecting fees for retakes. This is unacceptable behavior, especially from a school that advertises itself as professional and inclusive. If you’re looking for a fair and supportive place to take your driving exam — look elsewhere.
Easy to book a drive test, and it was easy to reschedule (well in advance) through their text messaging system. Checking in was quick, and my driving observer Andrew was courteous and clear during the driving evaluation. The car they provided for the test was clean and well kept. I would definitely recommend this company!
Great program! Understanding of people with Intelllectual differences, and still fair. Communicative, direct, kind, amd comforting. Great feedback and thorough. Thank you guys for your help!
The staff was professional and friendly. My instructor Gabby was informative and gave easy to follow instructions. The car was smooth and felt very safe. I 100 percent recommend!

Mr Mohamad was literally never on time, the instructor was always a couple minutes late to the zoom meetings and late to in person drives. Horrible communication skills, I never got a response to my scheduling the written exam and had to reschedule and specifically tell them to respond to confirm and then they were late to that by an hour, I had to reach out multiple times to get any response on my behind the wheel test after giving them 3 weeks of availability and despite being told they would reach out to me. The instructor was also chewing gum on every drive and not giving instructions until I'd almost miss it. Also misgendered and deadnamed me on multiple occasions. Ms Rachel however was very kind and professional and actually asked what name I prefer and used it, she only did my drive test but it was the only time I wasn't stressed out during the course while behind the wheel. They do not give refunds which makes sense considering I would have asked for one after the second lesson. Also when I went to get my license a month after the road test the DMV did not have my information and I had to call the school and as for them to actually do it. Overall not a great experience and would not recommend to anyone.
Would NOT recommend at all. This was the most unprofessional "company" that I have ever worked with. On the very first day the instructor was 15 minutes late with no apology and no acknowledgement that he was this late. I had talked to another customer while I was waiting and he said that he had been waiting there for 30 minutes so I guess it could have been worse which is insane. The lesson that proceeded was just what you would expect from a guy that showed up 15 minutes late, extremely sub-par. He spent the first 5 minutes (after being 15 minutes late) texting some girl on his phone and rummaging around in the trunk for something. He said very little during the lesson and basically just said that I was doing everything perfectly (which I definitely was not) After the first lesson, I got a new instructor who was the owner (Mohammed.) To his credit, he was an actual instructor and he did seem like he actually knew what he was doing. Unfortunately, the entirety of the 2nd lesson was essentially spent unteaching me everything that the first instructor said I should be doing. They weren't even in sync on something as basic as where I should have my hands on the wheel. The first instructor said 10-2 and then Mohammed said it needed to be 9-3 due to new air bag placements. Regardless of which one was correct, its absurd that 2 instructors of the same driving school wouldn't even be on the same page on something as fundamental as this. In the week leading up to the test, I still had around 4/10 hours remaining so I booked 2 lessons that week. The first lesson was okay except for the part where the driving instructor (a new one) made a joke about wishing that he could hit bicyclists "like they did in Chicago" which I found to be somewhat distasteful considering he was supposed to be teaching safe driving techniques. The final lesson is where things really started to go downhill though. It was the same instructor as the first lesson and surprisingly he was on time this time! He still managed to spend the first few minutes on his phone but that was fine because its not like he did any real instruction regardless. He had me drive out to the Clackamas ODEC to "do practice" which essentially amounted to parallel parking once on a random street near ODEC and then driving around for 5 minutes. Then we spent approximately 7 minutes just sitting in the ODEC parking lot while this dude looked up the location of the physical building. I didn't know that was what he was doing at the time and I would have objected if I did because it was completely absurd that we drove all out of the way to just "see what the building looked like." Even the instructor seemed very confused about what we were doing there and just said "this is where Mohammed said to go." During the lesson he was on his phone for about 45 minutes of it and then, after we get back from ODEC, we stop at the gas station to fill up on gas. We were there for about 20 minutes and I couldn't believe that he hadn't filled up the tank earlier. I was paying about $100 per hour here and to spend 20 minutes of that time sitting at the gas station was completely insane. In an earlier lesson we had spent about 10 minutes at a gas station which I thought was weird at the time but I didn't say anything because I assumed it was just a one time thing. The worst part is that neither instructor even offered to add extra time onto the lesson that was spent at the gas station. When I texted Mohammed about this he said "its absurd to say we can't fill gas during sessions." When I requested a refund for the last lesson and the time I didn't end up using, Mohammed was extremely combative and unprofessional. If there was an option to leave zero stars here I would, clearly there needs to be more regulation on drivers ed companies here in Portland. EDIT: in the reply below, the owner claims that i “wanted to be dropped off at the gym” which is clearly not true as i biked to the lessons everyday and it would make no sense for me be dropped off somewhere without my bike.
We picked Horizon Driving School by random and glad we did. My instructor was Rachael and she was terrific!! She's very patient and is committed to teaching you how to drive safely. She's totally set on seeing you have a pleasant experience and not only learn to drive good but learn all the rules of the road. If you're on the fence about Horizon and have concerns, don't worry. They'll see to it that you have a very pleasant experience. They work around your schedule. When you book, try your hardest to get Rachael, you'll never regret it!!
I had a fantastic experience at the driving school! The instructors were experienced and flexible with scheduling lessons! They provided great support and made sure I felt confident behind the wheel before my driving test! Highly recommend!
I would completely recommend Horizon Drivers Ed to anyone who is looking to learn how to drive. They are small business in a shared office space. I had Rachel as my instructor the whole time. She was patient, even tempered, understanding, and fun. I liked how she would give me tips on what to look for when parking and merging into other lanes. Anytime there was a sticky situation she would calming assist or take over. I would recommend booking an hour lesson right before your driving test if you go through the third party tester. It really helped to have that lesson and be able to driving around Clackamas. I wasn’t as nervous when it came to the test because of that.

Very professional service! Make you feel at ease for such a nerve wracking experience as passing your drivers test! I was scared for no reason! Kris was great at giving directions and then the feedback! I would recommend to use ODEC for your driving test!
Driving test was great. But, be warned that they funnel positive reviewers -- and presumably not negative ones -- to rate them on google. Reviews might not reflect quality of their classes.
Great place with many locations, Kris was super prepared, very professional, and greeted us nicely. He explained everything, and made sure my son understood. DMV was 5-6 weeks out. I booked my sons test a week before with ODEC. Great people, great organization, and affordable price.
Terrible service, they cancel your appointment at the last minute and don't let you know. I'll never come back.
Was able to schedule my test a week and a half out, got there early cause I was excited. Time efficient and was very professional with everything. One thing I did have a concern with is my instructor had me cross over a double yellow which is never permitted unless for a emergency situations. But overall I’d highly recommend this company if dmv isn’t an option

My review is for Scott Kefgen as my instructor. I was successfully able to earn my license on my first try after taking a couple lessons with Scott. He goes beyond what is expected for a driving instructor, because he really wants all of his students to pass, but also succeed as safe and competent drivers. He comes prepared -every student is given the guide packet with basic driving rules, but more importantly relevant tips for the test. We practiced on a route that was very similar to the one I ended up taking with the DMV, and every lesson is based on improving your weakest areas -he leaves extensive notes and adds grades to the rubric on the packet after each session. Those will be used as the focus for the next lesson. You can easily tell he comes from a teaching background, because he will let you know bluntly what you did wrong and encourage you to try again. The immediate feedback is so the lesson isn't wasted on time dancing around the problem area, and instead more time could be spent to correct the issue. Scott was also very accommodating by asking the students if they are comfortable with driving, asking if their seat feels right, if the music or windows need to be adjusted to minimize distractions, or if he was stressing the student by giving too much feedback at once. After going through the lessons with Scott, I was surprised at how easy the DMV driving test was, and I know it was because Scott prepared me for it more than enough. Every student should have a driving instructor like Scott at 1st Learn to Drive, and I will be recommending him to my peers. It is very likely you will pass the driving test after learning from Scott.
Wonderful instuctors.. they will treat you like family and help you succeed.. greg and wes are the best instructors i have ever met,. I loved the experience and would recommend and do it all over again… loved this class.
Really 4.5 stars. I see a lot of comments about the office communication, and they’re right, I had trouble getting them to relay information to my instructor. That said, Jeremy was a really good instructor and made the lessons engaging and easy to understand. I feel like I needed to know a lot of what they taught and it was really helpful to get this information. It’s also nice that the class includes the final drive at the end so you can earn your license with someone who at least knows you.
Rachel is the best instructor ever, she was so professional and informative and her voice put me totally at ease I highly recommend Rachel

That was one of the best experience I have had behind the wheel of a car. The instructors were the best. Calm encouraging and very professional. I would encourage anyone who drives a car no matter what the level of experience to go try this. It was so much fun.

Unique and rewarding program for anyone seeking to improve their driving skills. The entire Pro Drive team is welcoming, supportive, and extremely knowledgeable.
Fair price for a great education. a small amount of classroom time to understand the principles, but then a lot of time behind the wheel gaining experience!
Great experience. Chris the instructor was great. A ton of fun, and could feel my driving improving by the end of it

The instructor I spent most of my time with. Was Matt. Very good instructor. He not only made me feel confident behind the wheel. He also lowered my Anxiety as well. He worked very hard to help me achieve my goals everyday. He is very good at doing his job. Thanks again Matt! You're awesome!

Driving is stressful for me but this company's wonderful instructors really helped with that, especially Randy. He was hilarious and kind. He made sure I was comfortable and made sure to correct me without being harsh when I made a mistake. :)
My driving lesson with Scott was amazing! He was very professional, and was on time to the lesson. He was patient with me and very attentive. He explained what would be expected of me on the upcoming skills test, and also helped ease my nervousness as he calmly guided me through the entire lesson! I'd definitely recommend enrolling with him for driving lessons!
Steven was an excellent teacher of whom I will never forget. Whenever I come across a four way light, his words echo in my mind, "Left, front, right." If I ever find myself down, I always find myself thinking about how in our 4th class he said "over there" almost 500 times.
Absolutely amazing experience with 1ST LearnTo Drive! The instructors were so patient and encouraging, and my teen went from nervous to confident in just a few lessons. They made learning safe driving skills fun and stress-free — and my teen passed the test on the very first try! I can’t recommend them enough for parents who want their kids to be safe, capable drivers. Thank you as well to the owner, Mike, for making all this happen.....
As someone who spent the first 22 years of their life in school getting various degrees, and also been a teaching assistant in grad school, I recognize great pedagogy when I see it. And Scott absolutely has it. I had six 2-hr lessons with him over the last two weeks, and passed my behind the wheels test this morning. The notes Scott provided on the first day had concisely worded facts about driving in Oregon, how to execute turns, merges etc., and also on how to sign up for testing appointments. These notes were really useful, and reviewing them before my lessons and the test definitely helped me remember details I would’ve otherwise forgotten. During the lessons Scott was basically the dad figure who ought to have taught me how to drive when I was 16. He was calm, patient, and very cognizant of my strong and weak points while driving. He basically had a lesson plan going all throughout my classes with him, so I was able to review my misses and mistakes from each class, and never made them again in subsequent lessons. 1st Learn To Drive is incredibly lucky to have Scott as an instructor with them, as is anyone like me who has had the chance to learn under him. He has my absolute and unequivocal recommendation to anyone wanting to not only learn how to drive, but also learn how to pass the test.

Michael is so caring about our daughter. She has had mental health struggles this past year and Michael has been more than willing to show forth patients, care, concern, and re-scheduling his time to help with her. She is not just a client of his but he has set his heart to become a friend of our family. His decisions are based in concern for our daughter rather than his financial benefits being a focus. It is a joy and a blessing to know Michael!
Michael has been great to work with. I've had all three of my boys receive lessons from him and so far 2 of them have successfully obtained their drivers license. I must give extra kudos as I have one child with severe driving anxiety and other child has autism. Not the easiest to teach but he has been patient throughout the entire process. He has made the lessons enjoyable and informative. As a parent, I've enjoyed the ease of communication and peace of mind in knowing Michael doesn't just want your child to pass...he wants them to be safe drivers afterwards. His availability and rates are great and I would recommend him in a heartbeat.
Mike has helped me improve my driving a whole a lot
Took a few lessons from Mike and I got my driver's license on the first try he is a a amazing instructor highly recommend.🙂
Michael has been my grand daughters instructor for awhile now. She passed her test to get her learners permit. She gains more confidence after every driving lesson. He is very understanding to needed schedule changes. Great experience

I had a rough experience with ODEC 2-3 years ago when I had attempted to take my test. The office is an holding space. You wait there until the next instructor comes back (I waited more than half an hour, but if you’re late, your money is gone). Their customer support is nearly nonexistent. My instructor was male, he wore a hoodie with the hood up and jeans. He barely said anything to me. He asked me for my name, walked me to a car, got in with his clipboard, sighed, and then started directing me to check the signals and emergency lights. Early into my drive, I was asked to make a left turn. I said “okay” and waited for traffic to clear up. The instructor repeated himself, “make a left turn”. I said “okay” a second time, still waiting for traffic to clear up. It was a busy weekday in downtown Beaverton, and the oncoming traffic wasn’t spotty enough for me to make a safe turn. There was a very small gap of space in the traffic up ahead and my instructor grabbed the wheel, turned it, and told me “GO!”. I was shocked. The car coming up ahead honked at me, and it genuinely felt unsafe. I’m driving a car that’s not mine and I was taught to never make risky turns with oncoming traffic. After this event, he directed me to drive back to the office because I had failed according to him. As we drove back, he kept scribbling things onto the paper unlike before. All we did was drive down a 20mph speed limit road. By the end of my test he had written me up for 5 plus different things, including speeding (the only time I accelerated was when I was screamed at to “go”). He explained to me that we could restart but that he quote “didn’t feel like doing that”. Yup! That was it. From start to end, this felt highly unprofessional. But being young, I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. Now looking back and reading reviews similar to mine, I can see that ODEC has many areas of improvement compared to their local competitors. I would not trust a minor in their hands given my experience. They don’t respond to reviews but they delete them. So please do your research. I ended up working with another local business (Pacific), and their instructor was amazing.
Don’t waste your time here. They canceled the first appointment after we were already at the offices because their driving instructor didn’t show up. The second appointment was 2 weeks later (after already waiting a similar amount of time for the first) and the driving instructor arrived late. ODEC stresses that if we wouldn’t have arrived 15 minutes before the appointment time our appointment would have been canceled. Huge double standard. The instructor directed to left turn on a yellow light. The situation was safe. However, at the end of the turn while the car was still in the intersection the light went red. This happened early on in the test, and classified as an automatic fail (which the instructor only tells you about after the test is completed), which means the rest of the test the instructor did not mark down a single positive or negative comment on their tracker sheet because she had already circled “automatic failure.” I’ve seen many other reviews talk about unsound left turns leading to an early failure. I should have done more research. It appears this is a problem with the organization as a whole. ODEC confirmed that to reschedule a test after failing you need to pay again. The test is $75. You will always be better off waiting for the DMV. Do not trust these people. I’m disappointed that I was obviously duped into a bureaucratic money-making scheme, and I’m frustrated that the DMV recommends this service.
From start to finish, my experience with ODEC has been incredibly frustrating, and unprofessional. I initially scheduled with them after I had been unable to test at the DMV, and I paid $75 for the appointment. The day of the appointment, I show up early and in the waiting room see a voicemail from them informing me that my appointment has been cancelled. I don’t check my voicemail constantly, and I did not receive an email or text message about this sudden change, so I had no idea that it had been cancelled until then. I called and asked if they had any availability to get my test in that day since I had already driven 25 minutes away to take the test and was in the building. They were very cold and unhelpful, but told me to reschedule. Despite the red flags going off, I rescheduled for the next Thursday out after they initially offered me a Sunday spot. Later I check my email and see that they have sent me a confirmation for the appointment scheduled on the Sunday which I had explicitly told them was not possible for me, and I had to wait until after that weekend to get in contact with them and make sure I still had the correct appointment scheduled. Finally, I arrive to my drive test, and am given an immediate failure after the driver instructor (Devyn) told me to turn left on a yellow light, which turned red after I had started turning, and then told me to stop now that it was red. Obviously I couldn’t stop because we would have been dangerously blocking the road. She was also talking to me about non driving things during the test which was drawing my focus away from driving. Ultimately I got scammed out of $75 because this company wants you to pay to take their classes and tests but they give conflicting instructions during the test, failing you to make more money when you reschedule later. I wish I had read the other reviews before I scheduled with them in the first place.
I just tested today with Kris. I was an absolute nervous wreck, but from the moment I walked in Kris was super friendly and easy to talk to. This definitely helped ease my anxiety. The test itself went well. He provided clear instructions and was extremely friendly the whole way through the test. I could not recommend ODEC Beaverton more and if you have the opportunity to test with Kris, I highly suggest him!
My daughter tested in St. Helens. The tester dude was very professional and kind. Test vehicle was a hybrid Toyota corolla, very clean and conducive to success.

Our son enjoyed the class and instructor. We saw a dramatic increase in knowledge and driving from this class. It is also nice to have someone else teach your kids on this topic, we highly recommend Oregon Driver Training Institute!
My son completed his driver training confident and ready to get his license. He said his instructor was knowledgeable and got a lot out of the classes. Overall I would recommend. The only negative was the scheduling of the drives was incredibly frustrating and communication in the beginning was not the best. Once we got through that, it worked out.
Excellent program and great staff. Communication was also wonderful and they made this all very easy.
Teacher was amazing and very helpful, slay jesse

Whatever you do, do NOT Use this absolutely horrible Drivers Ed/drivers license test facility. The customer service is beyond abysmal, the employees are awful and they flat out steal your money if you haven’t taken their drivers ed course. One of the employees (Eluisa?) straight up, said that they typically don’t pass you the first time if you haven’t taken their course. What a scam! At least the DMV employs honest testers. Stay away from this place.
Awesome ladies that run the business. They are very helpful and knowledgeable.
My experience with this school was more or less. I made my appointment with them almost a month in advance because according to them they had confirmed to me that they had staff who spoke and taught driving lessons in Spanish. On this day, August 21, on my appointment day, the lady tells me that the driving teacher only speaks English and that he speaks a little Spanish, so I joined the class that way because anyway I understood him a little, although because of the nerves my head turned blank but quickly I tried to understand for any accident on the road. The teacher tried to teach me many things in 2 hours such as turning, reversing, accelerating, etc. although at first he told me to get into the car, turn on the left and right flashing lights, modify the mirrors, turn on the car, etc. Anyway Hahaha he made me do all that as if I were a person who had already had some driving experience (although I had never done it) but he almost no patience with me and I understood that it was because of the language of both but it was not my fault because if they had put someone who speaks Spanish then the situation would have been different. I felt somewhat disappointed because my 2 hours of class were somewhat desperate even though I tried to stay calm, although I also feel proud because I did many things in those two hours despite not having any experience and I kept calm when making many movements. I give it 3 stars because the teacher is good but he was not the right one for me because I would have loved to understand him more and have done everything better. The only recommendation I give to this driving school is that please be honest with the student when booking the class that they do not have much teaching staff to manage and that they speak Spanish and explain in more detail.
Unless you want to be scammed out of $75, please do not book a drive test with NW Drivers Ed. I booked my daughters test 3 weeks in advance, only to receive a text 2 days prior to the test stating they don’t have examiners working on Fridays… then why did it allow me to book the appointment on a Friday?! Due to the fact they cancelled my appointment on short notice, I called and requested a refund. The answer I was given is that they will issue a refund in 2 weeks. I asked why it would take that long and I the lady answered “that’s our policy”. I asked it be done sooner, as this was their mess up, and she said she would put a note in to the manager to do it sooner. Based on other reviews I don’t anticipate getting my refund and will likely have to file a dispute with my bank. I had a very upset teenager who had been looking forward to getting her license, so I immediately booked with ODEC and couldn’t have had a better experience with them, and they’re $5 cheaper than this place.
Horrible. They don’t deserve the one star but I had to put it to leave a review. The service was horrible im still shocked . We had an awful encounter with the lady that signs you in . She was extremely racist to us she made my mom feel horrible for not speaking English. She didn’t only yell but also didn’t let me and my mother defend our self’s. She Scammed us and didn’t want to give our money back or even admit that the mistake made was her fault . This place also does not have enough information to make sure you’re doing your apoitment right and won’t give your money back for anything. Not to mention she threw my phone instead of just handing it back to me . I’m a minor and she made me and my mother feel extremly humiliated and panicked. On top of it she was rude to an elder coworker who was only trying to help. I don’t usually do reviews but seriously stay away from that place . Worst encounter I’ve ever had. Go anywhere else they’re problably even cheaper.

I found Jen to be extremely unprofessional and concerned with numbers rather than quality. She withheld my sons certificate for 3 weeks after him passing the class. She said was incapable of completing the certificates the week of passing, because she scheduled a vacation. She made him feel extremely uncomfortable during the drives. She is clearly incapable of handling as many students as she had during this session to which she admitted to via email. Don’t waste your money with this school. It’s not worth the hassle and time or wait
Took lessons by Jennifer Lingenfelter. She was the very patient person I would recommend, I had fear, thought I couldn’t make it but she was the person to tell me it’s not that it’s this and am glad. ( I couldn’t even tell part of a car right) 😇 My husband is so greatful to her cos he couldn’t handle me on teaching me how to drive but here I am with jen’s help. Thank you 🙏🏾
So grateful to Elliot H. He was very patient and gave useful tips and much needed confidence which helped my spouse pass the road test with flying colors 😊
I had Jen as an instructor and it was the worst experience. Instead of helping me find solutions she scolded me for every mistake that I did. She wasn’t helpful and she made my driving experience terrible. I had a couple lessons from her and I dreaded each one. She’ll talk to me as if I was a child and was very demeaning. If I didn’t get something instead of sitting down and explaining it to me , she’ll bash me for it. I’m not sure who I can talk to file a complaint. But she’s not fit to instruct new drivers and I wouldn’t wish my experience on any new drivers. Very sad that I wasted my money to want to better my driving experience and I didn’t learn not one thing. Besides her making me feel bad about what I don’t know which was the sole reason why I went to driving school in the first place.. if you’re a new driver please go to someone other than her.. Check out my review on yelp where I attached proof that I actually taken the course with Jen. Everything in this review is the truth of my experience with Westside driving school with the instructor/owner Jennifer Lingenfelter.
ZERO STARS DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!! I had a horrible experience with Jen L, at Westside driving school. She was very unprofessional and unfriendly like. Driving teachers should be respectful and patient right?? Wrong, not here! When I had my lesson with Jen she treated me like a child. Every five seconds she would take the steering wheel abruptly, not telling me what she was doing. Having bad attitude towards me due to my mistakes I made. SHE literally called my driving sloppy when I was trying to LEARN! She knew I didn’t have lots of experience but she continued using rude words towards my driving skills. The whole lesson was a disaster and the outcome was very discouraging and a waste of time. I didn’t learn anything from her. She rushed though the whole lesson, not having time for me to fix my mistakes or redo them. Very disappointed in this company. Jen has no fit as a driving teacher. I highly recommend using another driving school. Don’t waste any more of your time!.
