The best driving school in fort Wayne hands down. From beginning to end 160 academy sets you up for success. The instructors will teach you everything you need to know to pass on the first time and give you the confidence to know you will. Helped me get my CDL class A with no problem! Highly recommend!!
The Cdl plus program was a great experience. Get you in and out of class in 5 weeks. The instructor was super laid back and knowledgeable.
I had a great experience at this school! I was only here part time so that extended my stay quite a bit but all in all I would highly recommend this class to anyone who wants to peruse getting there CDL. When there were no appointments in any BMV in the great Indianapolis area for 3 weeks, and no spots for driving tests in any other driving school I called, I was able to get a driving test for my daughter in very short notice at Circle City Driving Academy. Circle City Driving was an excellent source for my son. He did the 6 hour behind the wheel course and also his Test drive. The instructor Mr. James was excellent with him and very patient . Not only did he instruct him on driving but also gave him excellent advice and mentorship. And i am pleased to say that my 16 year old is now a licensed drive. Don’t think, sign up for that class!! Mr. James and Circle City Driving took me from being afraid of the road to helping me build the diving confidence I needed to be a great driver. One of my appointments started late and I was accommodated with a free driving test. Overall great experience <3
We had such a good experience! Our son was a very reluctant driver and dreaded the whole process, but James could not have been kinder and more patient with him. He was also very accommodating in picking up our son at home for driving lessons rather than having us go to the office (for a small fee, but totally worth it from our perspective!). I just wish my own driver's ed classes and instructor had been this great! And as of today, we have a licensed driver, so -- success!!! Thumbs way up!

Got off to a pretty rough start due to equipment being down but my instructor Rick quickly found a way to make sure everyone got some time in. He was never exlusive. He not only taught people how to drive a semi but was literally teaching people who had never even drove stick before. I could NEVER. He has more patience then I have ever had in my life. One heck of an instructor and the place is lucky to have him.
They are nice people to work with & very patient with people that are on different learning curves. Will work hard to make you relax & comfortable with learning to drive, the Trainers are very understanding & Direct, they all have a lot of knowledge to share. Would recommend this school to anyone that is looking for a good CDL training program. Thank you all for the help & understand.

I had a great experience at 160. Everyone from Dwayne to the instructors from yards in the surrounding area helped make the process go by smoothly. Their communication and willingness to help us improve was excellent. I’m thankful I got to learn from different instructors. They all had a unique and fun way of teaching which helped ease the stress of learning new skills. We as students also helped and supported each other by sharing the mistakes we made and how we could correct them as well as giving each other compliments as we made progress. I got to see one of the students I was with from the beginning at the test site and he gave me some final words of encouragement before I tested. Thanks to everyone at 160 we were 1 and done! I strongly recommend 160 Driving Academy.

160 driving school is a great place to learn to drive, got 2 2015 Pete’s 8 speeds great to learn on the yard is set up just like the test so that helps a lot literally exactly like the test sight you get plenty of drive time on the road and on the range. From my experience Ralf helped me out with any problems picked up along the way and made sure they were fixed before going to test, they all strive to get you to go test and be a one and done the first time!
Best experience I've ever have from any CDL training I'm so glad that I came to 160 drive academy south end it was worth it and they're training are A1 I recommend them any time thanks to Ralph and spoon the the best I made it I well always be greatful and I well never forget this school very good teachers

I had a very good experience here. My trainer and staff were amazing 👏. I graduated and left with 2 hats. The learning was intense but very manageable. I understood alot from the faculty. Classmate were diverse and easy to get along with. I had a good experience.

So I've been driving with this school for the last month or so, and it has been great, now granted my folks did all the set up and what not, but my 3 instructors I've had so far at this location, Andrea, Mike Hayden, and Larry. Andrea was my first instructor, and she was great. She was my first instructor, she gave me advice and tips on my driving, and complimented me. I had Mike Hayden for 3 lessons, he is amazing, great instructor, very excited and talks to you like you've been his friend for years, in the car he guides me, and tells me when to change lanes, and what to do. Had him for my parallel parking lesson. That was fun!! I had Larry today. He's a good instructor, definitely knows what he's doing/teaching, though what he was telling me was like it was my first lesson, which is alright. But all 3 instructors I've had have been great, highly recommend this driving school, great instructors, great cars, and in a great location!!!
I’m so glad I chose this driving school ! I took 6 hours of behind-the-wheel lessons and passed my driving test on the first try. The instructors here are incredibly patient, professional, and really know how to make you feel confident on the road. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and now I’m officially licensed! This program helped me get my license! Brent Neely was my instructor and he’s such a life saver. At the end of one of my lessons, my mom’s car battery went dead, Mr. Brent gladly offered help and provided jumper cables to help start her car again! He’s very patient and vocal about the do’s and dont’s of driving. My mom will definitely be scheduling lessons with for the rest of my siblings, this has been a great experience!

How I passed cdl test 160 academy Straight up I was getting nervous all the time failed two times until I met phill he trained me so good and unique and I think only got cdl because him Phil is the new assistant / junior manager he is great teacher learnt a lot from him. Not saying other instructors were bad, they are also really nice.Aj manager is also so help full all the time.
I know there’s plenty reviews on here of people who don’t have many good things to say about 160, but overall my entire experience was smooth & effective. All in all the entire process from walking into 160’s recruiting office (August 8th) to the time I passed my CDL test (November 1st) took roughly 3 months. I was fortunate to enroll at the perfect time so I didn’t have to deal with extended wait times. The instructors were amazing, the information they teach is solid & you get adequate timing to accomplish everything. The only reason I’m giving 160 4-stars instead of 5 is because there seemed to be a shortage of space to train & I feel like there should be more lanes added so everyone can practice their maneuvers as much as they want. Besides that, 160 is nothing short of amazing & I can’t wait to start the next chapter of my life.

I have attended Best truck Driving school and got my license. I have had fantastic and exceptional experience with my classes be it class sessions , maneuvers and road sessions. This school is best when you are working because of their flexible schedule those are made for students’ ease. I really appreciate the efforts made by my mentors Mr. Paul Randhawa and Mr Shiv. I have always felt like home and felt as if I was getting trained in my family. I had my test on Monday and Mr Paul opened the school for us on Sunday (though they are closed on Sunday)so that we could practice. This gesture is commendable. I highly recommend this school.
I just wanted to share my experience with a fantastic Best Tuck Driving School. Paul, the instructor, is incredibly patient and understands that learning these massive rigs takes time. He’s very flexible and allows students to spend as much time behind the wheel as they need. I was able to get my license in just 22 days, even with part-time classes. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Safeway. The instructors are nice, patient, react well under pressure, and are personable! They take the time to get to know you, what you need to work out, and communicate to each other effectively to make sure you learn everything you need before your test. I took both the classes and the lessons through Safeway. The classes went by faster than expected, and they cover everything in your driver's manual in a concise way that doesn't overload you with information. There's a mixture of adults and teens in the classes, but for the most part the kids are respectful and don't goof off too much (guessing because they really want their licenses!). Basically- if you want to learn the correct and SAFE WAY to drive, this is the establishment for you. They want to see you succeed! Thank you Josh, Justin, Betty, Jim, Steve, and everyone that's a part of the Safeway Driving School team. You guys really helped me have a wonderful experience, calm my nerves, and actually enjoy driving! No more scared young lady on the road; Hello confident new driver! :D Again, cannot recommend them enough!
I really hope my daughter has this instructor every class. He gave me, the parent, feedback after class and told me how she did. My son went to this school and had it a figured out (he thinks) but my daughter wants instruction and hopes to have the same instructor. Pretty sure it’s the owner or one of them. She was impressed and so was I.

My driver agent was awesome Mrs. Joanne was so helpful was able to answer every single question I had and was as excited as I was about starting my career. My experience with C1 trucking school was fine. The accommodations at holiday inn were very nice. The school was organized well and I believe they were all trying their hardest to teach us and had our best interest in mind. Ever since I entered the profession, I see now that being a truck driver can be a tough job. Everyone assumes as truck drivers we have it easy because you’re just driving all the time, but the time and days you’re away from your families is tough. And the long hours are exhausting. But without truck drivers items wouldn’t get delivered to companies. Since completing CDL training I have had so much more respect for truckers. I’m always thanking a truck driver I come across and I’m always being more courteous to them on the roads. Drivers solutions helped me achieve my goals by working with me everyday. Even though we had other people in the groups I still felt like I was being worked with one on one. I never would have been able to pass my drivers test at the end on the first try if it were for all the help I received from each and every instructor.

Drive Zone has been amazing for my son to do his in-person driving simulator (which is pretty cool and I got to try it out myself), his online classes, the driving lessons and finally the road test exam through the school instead of at the BMV. Steve has gone above and beyond my expectations and was so accommodating to extending time due to my son's procrastination during his online classes (work/high school/driver's ed balance). The drive instructors were all great. Of the 12 drives, my son had two instructors for most of it and two others for two other drives and he was comfortable with all them - more than he is with me as a rider. LOL The instructors taught the same core principals but they each brought their own experiences to the lessons. I honestly cannot praise Drive Zone, Steve or his instructors enough. I would highly recommend and if I had other children would put them through the school as well. I am not paid for this review, nor did I receive compensation for it. Thank you Steve! Jim

I had the best experience with drive time. They made me a good driver and now I’m enrolled my son.
I thought of getting lessons from this driving school as I've seen 4.5 stars in some reviews but I guess I should have researched further. No way in their website that you would know how long behind the wheel driving lessons schedule will take. After paying and getting access to my site dashboard the earliest behind the wheel I can schedule is 3 months later with very few slots left. I email them if they can do an earlier schedule for me but only got a reply after 2 days after sending them several text and emails. But still they're not able to give me specific dates. They say they'll give me a slot as soon as somebody cancels a slot. So who knows how long? The sad thing is I also included an online course even though I don't need it just because I want to have a waived driving test. They finally agreed to cancel my subscription but deducted $100 for the online course that I don't really need. Beware, think twice before enrolling their behind the wheel lessons schedule sucks.

Can't say enough about Dynamic Drivers Ed. Jenny gave my son the confidence he needed to get behind the wheel. He had nothing but great things to say after every session. He was always excited for his next one. Jenny is very professional, kind and caring. I would highly recommend Dynamic Drivers Ed.
We enrolled our child in Dynamic Driver’s Ed after reading their enrollment page, which is clearly titled “Online, Behind-the-Wheel, & Road Test Enrollment.” The step-by-step instructions even state that once behind-the-wheel training is completed and you’ve held your permit 180 days, you will then schedule your road test. It also explains that once you pass the road test, you’ll receive a waiver to take to the BMV to get your license, which is exactly how third-party testing works. Nowhere on the site does it say the road test is optional or an extra charge. There is no separate payment section for the road test. This gave us the reasonable impression that the road test was included in the package price. Unfortunately, after completing the other parts, we were told the instructor is now “too busy” to provide the road test and that it wasn’t actually part of what we paid for. This is extremely frustrating and feels misleading based on the wording of their own website. I'd also check my students account for a clearer receipt on what you paid for as I just did this and it shows I paid for a drive test in the $475 fee. Screenshot is attached.

Great place very helpful
Took 5 months to schedule in. After my test they got the date wrong by 16 years and the license branch wouldn't take it WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT COMING HERE
My son was timid driving after being a passenger in an accident when he was little. The staff at Precision worked with him mentally and showed him empathy while also challenging him to succeed. They are the best. I would not send my kiddos anywhere else.

My daughter took driving lessons at Driving Academy. It’s amazing how much she improve in only 6 lessons. Howard is a great instructor with a positive comical personality.
10/10 love the people and they take there time and truly want you to succeed in driving. I would recommend this to anyone young and old!

I have had two daughters recently complete their driving instruction with Mr. Lovejoy. He was very easy going and patient with both girls. They both had good experiences with him. Only potential thing to know is drop off/pick up is at the Compass Center instead of the high school. My children attend school in Perry Township and I know some schools have longer waits, but from the time we entered permit information on website to when they got their instructor assignments it was approximately 4 weeks. Overall, it was a good experience and I would recommend Mr. Lovejoy as an instructor if your kids go to Southport/Perry.
My teenager learned a lot from her instructor and the online course. The people were very responsive every time we emailed or asked questions. We had a great experience.
Scheduling to get an instructor will take months and months. They will charge you for cancelled class even if the instructor cancelled. Would not listen to me when I told them we did not cancel the class and and that I needed to have my $50 fee refunded to my checking account. tThe lady even acknowledged that the instructor cancelled the class due to a funeral. So why was I charged? My son could not schedule any more classes until the fee was paid! I asked to speak to someone else who could help me- billing, her supervisor anyone… SHE hung up on me! I even tried calling back TWICE. NO ONE PICKED UP MY CALL.Clearly I was being dismissed. I’ve never experienced such horrible customer service. VERY RUDE AND DIFFICULT TO WORK WITH. DONT USE THEM. LOOK ELSEWHERE.
I have had two children that have gone through the program and a third about to start the driving portion and our experiences overall have been great. They are priced competitively. We have only done the online courses, which prepared my kids well for the permit test. Yes, you will have to be put on a waitlist to be assigned an instructor and sometimes it can be several weeks. However, you can still have your child drive with you in the meantime. Not a big deal. CIESC staff is always responsive to my questions and concerns. We have requested and used Joel Black as our driving instructor and my two kids had a great experience with him teaching them. He communicates well with both the kids and I with what they need to work on. Parents- don’t expect the six one-hour lessons to teach your kid how to drive. You will have to practice with them, so start while you are on the waitlist instead of complaining.
Kristy Rhorer was my son’s instructor. We had a wonderful experience with her. Kristy was professional, communicative and set my son up for success behind the wheel.

Excellent experience. Great school
Their website says they open at one. No one answered the phone till 2 o’clock. The lady that answered the phone was quite rude. Couldn’t give me any information. Couldn’t schedule a drive for my daughter. Had to have a schedule or call me. They have nothing open this week. It’s Monday and couldn’t confirm anything for next week because he had to check with his drivers. The only timeslots he could give me for next week or like at 2 o’clock in the afternoon when my daughters at school she also has a part-time job so it is challenging, but he was very rude and could care less, do yourself a favor before they take your money and you can get a refund somewhere else this place has no customer service qualities whatsoever. I feel they take your money and then put you on the timeline that’s impossible to reach just my opinion.
My kids had a experience here.... Good job Fricks....I would highly recommend this school to anyone looking for professional training.

I took my road test here today and I passed!! The staff is very friendly, and my instructor was super nice and patient throughout the test and he also gave me some useful tips!

Horrible customer service and one of the instructors is one of the rudest people I have ever met. When my next child needs driver's education, we will be going elsewhere.

Dennis is very misunderstood and misinterpreted by most of these reviews. Dennis is one of the kindest humans i’ve conversed with, he was merciful when i made mistakes driving and he never once yelled at me like some of these reviews are saying. But if you put you and Dennis’ life at risk… yes you might get yelled at as a natural response that us humans have, put yourself in his shoes and then think… This place is not a 2.9 star driving school. Scheduling was easy, Dennis and Sherrie are really really good at what they do and Sherries patience is through the roof and she is a very kind hearted person with really great intentions and has a-lot of love for what she does. All I’m saying is that these other bad reviews scared me when I first started and i judged a book by its cover. but then I gave the people a chance and got to know them and really they are kind and bring light to a drive and make the hour meaningful and make it enjoyable. 5 Stars from me. Thank you Dennis and Sherrie!
Easy to do online course. Very difficult to schedule driving. Owner unapologetic about issues with getting drives in consistently.

I will start off by saying I am 30yrs old and I have been terrified of driving my entire life. I took driver's education when I was 16 and had a horrible experience and I never drove again. Well this year I decided to go to a different drivers ed and try it again. Let me start from the beginning.The owner Amy was so kind and I asked her at least one million questions by email. She answered every single question right away and was so sweet. Next I drove with Mr. Dennis L. my very first time and he was so kind. He took his time with me and he told me a story that related to my situation that made me gain confidence. He was so uplifting and one of the most kind people I ever met. The moral of this story is I passed my test and I'm eligible for my license in the 1st. Thank you guys so much for everything. You don't understand how much you've changed my life!!!!

Such a terrible place teacher repeats and repeats the same things over and over and you don't get to learn anything massive waste of half a grand and time
Highly don’t recommend. I was a student here a few years ago and the teacher/owner is extremely rude and unfriendly! When doing drive time with other students, when someone made even the slightest mistake he would choose to raise his voice at you and make rude comments and not even teach you what to do next time. I feel like I got nothing from this class and feel it’s a total waste of time and money.
It was really easy! The lady there was nice and I was really nervous cause the reviews weren’t very good. It was easy and I learned a lot! Driver instructor was kinda sassy to me 😭 but he wasn’t mean. Besides that I enjoyed it take ur kids here !!
One son paid the money to go here for Driver's Ed, the other didn't. The son that did not go here has already been in two minor accidents. Definitely think it was worth the money. Instructors are old school, but cost is lower than most.
