1. Ride Chicago Motorcycle and Driving School
2509 W Fullerton Ave STE 1, 60647 Chicago (Illinois)

Took the two day basic licensing class. Classes are well structured and instructors are super experienced, friendly, and understand. I would recommend Ride Chicago to anyone wanting to learn to ride a motorcycle and get their M Class :) Thank you Rachel, Matt, Kevin, and Jay!!!
A great way to learn how to ride! Our class was small, so a very personalized experience. Carl and Steve were more than willing to answer our questions, and had us go through a variety of exercises to help us learn the fundamentals. Would recommend.
I had a great experience with RIDE CHICAGO! Thanks to Katie and Carl and their friendly approach I started my riding journey the right way. Coming to that class I had no previous experience, basically clueless how to make turns and thigh curves. They made sure to warm us up during the day and gave us tons of little tips how to do everything the correct/ safe way. They got us ready not only for state test but also for real life safe riding. I'm beyond grateful!
I’m so happy I took lessons from here! I didn’t realize how much value I would get from learning the fundamentals in such a short amount of time. The instructors Ian, Katie and Jay are very impressive teachers. So nice, easy to understand and follow, and they are all clearly masters of riding!
It was a fun two days taking the basic rider course. They did a wonderful job getting everyone on the motorcycles and riding. I went from not knowing anything to being able to ride enough to pass my license test. The teachers were great and gave us tons of riding insight.

Can’t say enough about Andy! I’m so glad I went with him instead of any other driving school. As a first time learner as an adult, a sense of nervousness and anxiety certainly comes with it. I didn’t know how I’d feel or how it would go but after doing my first lesson with Andy, I felt relieved. He was understanding and patient with me. At the same time, he introduced other aspects of driving without pressuring me. He also made sure to feed me some of the nuances of the road that a new driver would have to learn through experience. Not to mention the funny stories to help calm my nerves! I was able to get my license on the first try without feeling unprepared or nervous. It goes without saying for teenagers but for adults, if you haven’t learned how to drive, go with Galaxy! You won’t regret it!!
Andy is the best. Went from never driving to getting my license after two sessions. I was nervous and unsure at first and he built my confidence to the point that I look back and seriously wonder why didn't I do this sooner. Thank you brother, to those on the fence I can safely tell you from the other side you are in great hands. There is nothing to be afraid of. Get to driving, embrace that American freedom, and with Andy you will be in great hands
I had a great experience with Galaxy Driving School. My instructors Andy and Crystal were patient, professional, and made me feel comfortable behind the wheel, even as a beginner. They explained everything clearly and helped me build confidence each lesson. Scheduling was easy and communication was always prompt. I’d highly recommend this school to anyone learning to drive for the first time or looking to improve their skills!
I took so many lessons with another big driving school and got nowhere. After 3 lessons with Andy I passed! He is really patient and experienced so if you’re a nervous driver he’ll relax you. Super happy with my experience and wish I’d gone with Galaxy first time. Thank you Andy!!!
I really thank Galaxy Driving School for their great help and support during my road test. My instructor Krystel was phenomenal. Very cool and the instructions are precise and easy to understand. Highly recommended!

I had a great experience at this driving school! I had Sergio, Jorge and Arnold, all 3 instructors were super nice and chill, which made learning to drive way less stressful and easy to get my Drivers license. They were patient, gave clear instructions, and always made sure I felt comfortable behind the wheel. I definitely recommend this place if you want a relaxed and supportive environment to learn in!
I’m glad I took my time when trying to find the right driving school. I would definitely recommend Ruiz Driving School to any and everybody. Arnold was my instructor and when I say the best! I’m concerned that this place is a scam. A family member scheduled a Test Prep for this morning and the appointment was cancelled on the day of. We were already charged for this service and requested a refund. We got a hold of a woman over the phone and she said that she would send the information to management and they will call later to tell us whether they will “decide” to give us a refund. They’re now not returning our phone calls. They were the ones who cancelled on us, so I don’t know why they didn’t refund.
Franceisco is an outstanding instructor. He is super knowledgeable but also nicely explains the logic behind driving. He also gives a great supplement guidance on practical situations. I absolutely and wholeheartedly recommend Franciso.
Franciso is a great instructor. He made me confident and well prepped for the road test. I would definitely recommend him for your final lesson before the road test
I am very grateful for your help throughout the process; The instructor Francisco, who was with me in all the driving classes behind the wheel , he was very professional, friendly, respectful and clear with the information. His attitude contributed to the success of the classes. Excellent instructor.
Really helped me overcome my driving anxiety, super helpful highly recommend driving with Francisco for anyone who is neurodivergent or has anxiety especially adults who need more confidence driving 10/10 overall!

This is a very good driving school!, I really did learn a lot of information about the rules of the road .Driving with the instructor was very calm and easy!.
This has been a wonderful experience, he’s very patient, makes funny jokes, it’s easy to get along with him. He makes learning fun and enjoyable. Basically my whole family, my two sisters learned from him, we all like him.
I highly recommend coming to Metro Driving School. Mr.Damien is an excellent teacher who benefits the better of the children of our time, his excelling ability to both entertain and teach his students makes him both a teacher worth giving applause and appreciation for. I have never in my life ever had a teacher this superfluous and brilliant. His aspiration for his students to excel in their lives and have the ability to drive is so empathetic and empowering. There are truly no words in the dictionary necessary enough to describe this ineffable, inexpressible mindset.
Amazing driving school! Good exploration from the teacher, and fun and easy education! I enjoyed this 5 weeks of education!
This is an amazing driving school! I learned a lot, got my permit quick, in just a perfect amount of time! I had a great time and really loved it there. Mr. Damian was a very good teacher!
6. Entourage Driving School
5245 N Elston Ave, 60630 Chicago (Illinois)

I reached out to Entourage last week after seeing one of their cars in my neighborhood. It was a sign from the universe, as I learned soon after that my permit was set to expire this Saturday. Prior to meeting Brian, I was unfamiliar with the DMVs in the area, I had experienced intense nausea/car anxiety while practicing w others, and I had failed the in-car test multiple times as a teenager. Due to time, I could only schedule two sessions with him. They were easy and quick to schedule, his website was clear, and their’s were the most affordable lessons I had seen in my research. Brian came to my place prompt, kind, and reassuring. He made the experience fun, and he clearly knew exactly what to prepare me for. I had never enjoyed driving before this. He gave me a fantastic mock test and recommended the best testing location for me (and tips on how to get an appointment). Time was cutting close, but after following all his instructions with faith, I passed my driving test this morning! Truly grateful and couldn’t recommend their services more.
My experience with Entourage was excellent in every way. I needed a brief refresher after letting my license expire years ago. I took a lesson and then used their crazy convenient road test package at Elston. (I didn't have a car for the test myself) They even helped with nailing down the road test appointment. Edward and Miranda both were bright, punctual and a pleasure to talk to. They were both full of useful tips and knowledge that was very helpful to me - it really helped with my confidence level. Worth every penny, easily.
Best driving school ever in Chicago! Just received my Driver's license today on my first try!!!! I am from France and never drove in my entire life! I took the full package and did 8 hours with Eddie (my teacher). He is very kind, patient and provides a lot of explanation. Now I am comfortable behind the wheels and can go anywhere with my 3 babies! As a mom of 3 kids, the pick up/drop off option was very helpful. If you are looking for a driving school in Chicago do not hesitate and go with ENTOURAGE DRIVING SCHOOL! Highly recommend to anyone. Excellent services! Marlyne
Booked in to get my US Driving Test as a foreign national. Miranda was great and guided me through the somewhat confusing DMV process! Highly recommend.
Eddy is a fantastic driving instructor. He ensures you’re learning the proper techniques covering all the essentials of all aspects of driving. With Eddy’s guidance i gained confidence behind the wheel. 😊

I had a very great lessons here. My instructor Javier was really helpful, patient, and professional. I passed my driver’s exam after completing lessons with him. Definitely recommend having him as an instructor!
Highly recommend Javier M.! Took my driving test today and passed on the first try thanks to him. Very patient instructor and I recommend him for anyone who’s looking to get their license as a first time adult driver!
Javier Moreno was a great instructor. Helped through every detail and really made it easy for me to drive on the road test.
Brandon was my instructor for today. We worked on sides streets and main streets. He was very nice and helped guide me through the busy streets in a way that was effective but not taking over. He was very kind and would love to have him as my instructor again.

Diego is the best. I did most of my lessons with him He taught me so much and I have really bad anxiety so for me to be able to feel comfortable is a lot. I just received my drivers license today and Pedro Bosch was my instructor to help me prepare, and he was amazing as well very nice very encouraging and helped me ease my anxiety before the actual test
Nova was great! I was a beginner driver with very litter driving experience (most I did was driving in a parking lot 4 years ago) but I was able to take all my driving classes 3 weeks and also get my license on the 1st try! I took the beginner program which was 12 hrs behind the wheel + the road test prep + the actual road test. Each class was 2 hrs long and it was recommended that I take 2 classes each week (so 4 hrs of driving/week). All my instructors were really nice and informative and made me feel comfortable driving. I especially appreciated Javier who is an amazing instructor. He helped me feel less anxious while driving and was very encouraging throughout my classes. He also was very knowledgeable about the road test (given his years of experience) and taught every single little thing I needed to know for the road test. The road test was step-by-step everything he had covered with me and prepped me for. It was easy! Thanks to his help I got my license! Thank you Javier!
hey i’m 21 and currently a rising senior in college and liked nova’s driving school. ik ig it could be a challenge to choose which instructor you would wanna have BTW lessons like a class and if you’re really looking for an instructor to take BTW lessons, i would strongly recommend manuel! I took every other instructor but really liked manuel. He’s so funny, humbles you (but never in a bad way, he really wants you to do well while driving). He likes to teach you in a fun way while throwing some jokes here and there to build a good relationship with his students. Would recommend him or Diego (he’s also a rlly chill dude)
I don’t know how they get 5 star ratings. I have bad experience. They don’t value your hard earned money, it is nothing for them
I had a great overall experience with Nova Driving School and would absolutely recommend it to other first-time drivers. The cars used for lessons were easy to handle and made learning less intimidating. I also appreciated that all of my instructors arrived on time for our scheduled lessons, and the pricing was reasonable for the quality of instruction provided. The time I spent with my instructors was incredibly valuable in building both my driving skills and confidence, which ultimately helped me pass my road test. While I also practiced outside of lessons with my partner’s car, the structured guidance I received at Nova was essential. A big shoutout to my instructors, Mike C. and Anthony D., for their patience and thorough teaching styles. They explained everything clearly and calmly, which made each lesson productive and stress-free! Also, a special thanks to Jared R., who worked with me for an hour right before my road test. His guidance during that final session was especially helpful and appreciated. All of the instructors I worked with were polite, professional, and very knowledgeable! The only downside I encountered was with the lesson scheduling system on the portal. My already scheduled lessons were changed or removed from the portal without any notice (this happened 3 times). I made a habit of checking and refreshing the portal regularly and was able to catch the changes in time. I would highly recommend that others do the same! Check your portal a day or two before any lesson. When I called Nova Customer Support, they did help me get back on my original schedule or reschedule at a more convenient time. Despite this issue with scheduling, my experience with the instructors and the quality of the driving lessons was excellent!

I wish I could give them 0 stars. I usually do not write reviews however, they have been highly unprofessional and refusing to give me a refund. I paid $770 for my classes upfront and had all of my classes scheduled. I did one class. They CANCELLED the next 3 classes. I ask for a refund because that’s unacceptable especially when they’ve canceled classes 3 hours before the scheduled time. Almost 2 weeks later, they refused to give me a refund. They keep talking about delays and approvals needed. They have proof that I paid for the classes and have acknowledged that they have been unprofessional so why can’t they refund me. DONT GO THERE
My first experience at Nova was disappointing due to my instructor, Jeremiah. He was rude, impatient, and completely disregarded what I told him about my driving struggles. Despite me saying I didn’t know how to parallel park, he forced me to do it anyway, then got frustrated when I couldn’t. He even took me downtown on my first lesson which was very overwhelming and unnecessary. If you don’t have patience or basic respect, you shouldn’t be teaching people how to drive. I paid to learn, not to be talked down to. Thankfully, my next instructor, Aaron, was a breath of fresh air. He made me feel comfortable, safe, and confident on the road. If you’re new to driving, ask for someone like Aaron not Jeremiah.
Successfully passed my road test today thanks to my RT instructor Jeremiah, as well as Aaron who taught me during most of my driving lessons. They were both very helpful, patient, and I had absolutely no issues with them. I hope Nova values the amazing staff they have and doesn't take them for granted. Although I had a great experience with the instructors, I have to deduct a star due to Nova's recent lack of communication. When I took my road test prep lesson just over a week ago, I was told by the instructor that I would receive an email after he submitted the evaluation, and that I should call Nova asap to schedule the road test. However, even though he submitted the evaluation, I didn't get an email till days later after he submitted it again. Then when I called Nova to schedule the test, the operator told me that I would receive a call the day of the test from Nova, between 6:30-7-30 am, letting me know what time to meet my instructor. There was no misunderstanding on my part, because I also have an email that confirms that that is what she said. Well today I was expecting to be woken up by the call, however, the call never came. Thankfully I woke up at 7 and saw the text from the DMV stating what time my test would start. There was no email from Nova confirming the appointment time, nor who the instructor was. I waited until 7:30 to see if an operator would call like I was told, but I had to call Nova myself and the operator I spoke to told me that no, they never call the day of and that I was to meet my instructor 15 minutes before my appointment, and that they would contact me. I'm very disappointed and alarmed that I was told two different things by two different operators. When I arrived at the DMV, I was there for a decent amount of time and still didn't have the contact info for the instructor. I had already been in the check in line and at the information desk, where I was turned away because I didn't have the car insurance info on me (something Nova didn't communicate I would need). I then called Nova again, while standing in the cold & rain, so that I could get some information on the instructor and when to expect them, and I got a text from him around the same time. From there everything was fine, but I really felt like Nova's customer service almost set me up for failure. When you spend this much money on a driving school, you expect better communication. If Nova doesn't call the day of informing of the appointment time, then an operator shouldn't be telling me they would. At the very least an email should've been sent on what time to meet my instructor and when the appointment starts. Oh but wait, they did send it, at 2:34 pm...5 hours after my appointment time and 1 hour after I passed my test. All in all, I do think this is a good school. The instructors were great and I had an overall good experience, I just hate that I had to be filled with so much anxiety the day of my road test due to the lack of communication.
My overall experience at Nova Driving School was good. The staff was helpful and my instructor made sure I was comfortable behind the wheel. I definitely feel more confident about driving now. I got what I needed from the training and I appreciate the professionalism throughout the process. I’d recommend it to anyone trying to get their license and build solid driving skills.
This was the best experience I have had. Jeremiah has helped me so much. He made sure I was calm and helped me feel like I can actually pass.He is a wonderful instructor and he always makes sure you are comfortable. I would recommend every one to him and nova driving school. I thank Jeremiah so much for helping me.

I was taking today my road test and my driving instructor was Javier Moreno. He was great and gave me a lot of advices that helped to pass test and get my license)
Big thank you to Instructors David L. And Javier M. For directing me nicely towards getting my license! David was very polite and helpful, and Javier gave really good advice and guidance before the big test. Thank you!
I had an amazing experience learning to drive with Martha. She is patient, informative, and adapts to your learning style. Her lessons prepared me to pass my driving test with flying colours. 10/10 I recommend learning with Martha at Nova.
My instructor was Javier M. and I cannot recommend him enough! He has a very methodical way of teaching and ensuring you are confident on the road. I passed my driving test on my first try, and now have my license. Thank you again, Javier!
Today, I received my driver’s license! I want to thank Nova Driving School in Western for teaching me how to drive from someone who had never driven before to someone who finally made it. I’ll never forget my first instructor, David, who made this possible. He was incredibly patient, never raised his voice when I made mistakes, and always explained things clearly whenever I didn’t understand. He’s truly the best. Next, I believe the instructor’s name was Danny. He was also excellent and helped me build a lot of confidence in my driving. He was always supportive and full of positive energy. Lastly, I met Javier on my driving test day. He was so professional and explained everything I needed to know what to do, where to go, and when to stop. Without him, I probably wouldn’t have passed. Thank you all so much!

160 really wants us to not only pass but to be successful. The instructors gets to know you Individually, this helps them figure out what works for you individually. Be on time, pay attention, and they will help you succeed and open the door to great opportunities. Thank you Tiffany, Jeff, Doug, Latoya, and Randy.
I had a great experience at 160 driving academy in Peoria. When I heard about some of the things we had to demonstrate to get our CDL I was nervous. The instructor was great and not only taught what we needed to know to obtain our CDL but also taught about real life experience. The branch manager Tiffany Church was great to work with and still after 7 months of completing schooling there she still reaches out to see how I am doing and how things are going. I give credit to 160 driving academy staff along with others for helping me become rookie of the month for December with the company I work for. If your wanting to go drive truck choose 160 driving academy for your schooling.

I highly recommend this place to anyone attempting to get a CDL. They have friendly and skilled instructors, who put in a large amount of work to ensure their students are able to graduate and are fully prepared for any job in the Trucking Industry. They have a fully comprehensive program, going through not only getting a Commercial Drivers Permit, understanding pre-trip inspections, as well as knowing all the skills and having the proper experience required for driving commercial vehicles. Their staff is friendly, supportive, and incredibly flexible with teaching times. I can't recommend this place enough.
Easily the best truck driving school in Illinois. They work with your schedule. You can get your class hours done in the morning, afternoon or evening. I had 2 training sessions from Edgar Instructor. Edgar Instructor taught me well in simple words because I don’t speak English. I’m so grateful. On the day of the road test, the Carlos Instructor kindly proceeded with my schedule. Thanks to this, I could pass the road test as shown in the picture. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to both of you.
I took Nova's Adult Intermediate 6 hour course and it was excellent. I had Thelma P. and Augustine M. as my first instructors and they were both very reassuring and offered great advice. Ismail A. was my instructor the day of my road test; he was also fantastic! We practiced the course the morning of the test and he instilled a lot of confidence, eased my anxiety before the test, and also offered great general driving tips and defensive driving advice. I'd strongly recommend adult lessons for anyone interested; the instructor's have all been extremely helpful, kind, professional, and courteous. Having a mix of instructors also felt good because I got input and advice from multiple perspectives. I felt confident behind the wheel after my first lesson.
I honestly don't know if I would have ever learned to drive, felt comfortable driving, and gotten my license without these lessons with Edgar (and a few with Augustine, too)! They both supported me in my anxiety and need for lots of over explaining. Edgar helped me start my journey on my first class, drive in the rain, take on highway driving, and ultimately supported me to get my license! I got the ultimate beginner package because even though I had attempted to learn from many well meaning friends and family, I could never get into a learning space for fear of wrecking their car or our relationship. Having the instruction car with a brake on the passenger/instructor side AND the instructors' expertise in teaching made it so helpful to ease into learning. I also got the pre-test additional class to feel super ready and confident before taking the test and passed it easily. I cannot imagine even 6 months ago saying I passed the road test easily or that I drove on the highway! Truly can't believe it, but it's real and if you're also a nervous adult looking to finally drive or start driving again, this is worth every penny. Oh and the at home pickup add on is the best. Good luck!
Had a great experience here with my instructor Anthony Delgado - he was patient, engaging, empathetic, and highly knowledgeable. Without him I wouldn’t have been able to get my drivers license as an adult. My driving journey started slow but the moment I started taking lessons with him, things rapidly improved. Many thanks to Anthony and Nova Driving School.
My experience with Nova was exceptional. I purchased the Adult Ultimate Beginner Package and was assigned with an amazing driving instructor, Ismail. He was patient, taught good driving habits, and was very accommodating. And thanks to his great teaching skills I was able to pass the road test If you want to develop good strong driving basics and more, I recommend Nova Driving School and especially recommend you ask for Ismail.

Excel driving school is so incredibly easy to work with. The classroom time was effective and efficient. The behind the wheel is where they really excel both of my children drove with Joe. He gave them confidence constructive criticism was encouraging and all around an amazing driving coach powerful.
Kiran Haq is a passionate driving instructor: she is incredibly patient, calm and knowledgeable in teaching my son all the necessary driving skills from day one. She gives clear instructions and positive feedback to both the student and parents to make sure they improve at each lesson. She is also easy to schedule with and always sends text messages ahead of time to make sure we know when and what to expect. My son really likes her tips each time to improve his driving skills. Overall, we are happy to having her as our driving teacher, thank you Kiran for coaching my son to be a safe driver.
Highly recommend Ecell Driving! My daughter had a great experience — the instructor was patient, professional, and very supportive. Excellent service and teaching, we’re really pleased.
Cyndia was an amazing driving instructor! She was incredibly patient, calm, and took the time to explain everything clearly, no matter how many questions I had. Her teaching style really helped me build confidence on the road. I never felt rushed or judged — just supported every step of the way. I highly recommend Cyndia if you're looking for someone who genuinely cares and wants you to succeed!

Nova is truly the number one driving school in Chicago! They have a great system, friendly staff, and the best instructors. I highly recommend them!
Martha was very kind and helpful in helping me pass the road test!
What a great place to learn to drive. I highly recommend this place. If anyone is looking to book some lessons, I highly suggest you choose David B as your instructor. He gave me a lot of confidence to drive as well as super patient. Nova took care of everything for me to get my Driver’s license.
I chose Nova because one of my friends from work suggested this school for me, because she came here. I was extremely nervous especially behind the wheel, but my instructor: Roberto. O. Helped a lot he had lots patience for me, and always gave me tips for driving, which helped me build my confidence while driving. I highly recommend this school to anyone wanting to learn and if you get Roberto his great you’ll definitely learn.
Luis is the best instructor I’ve had so far. He honestly deserves a raise. His instructions were clear, concise, and he made driving easy. He was kind and welcoming. I recommend taking lessons with him more than anybody else. You can tell her care and takes his job seriously. 10/10

Man where can I start. From the front office and doing the actual in class was amazing. They made SURE you knew what you were talking about and it’s up to YOU to learn it and to soak all the information in. To the yard. It was an absolute blessing of a group of instructors. They work with you one on one if you need more help or just to go over whatever you’re struggling with or reviewing. I had nothing but positive vibes from this school and it was a blessing to be apart of this great team and experience!! I will forever thank the WHOLE school for what they did for me and my family! One thing you have to remember is that if you want, GO GET IT!!!! Put in the extra effort and time , and stay focused on the end goal! Good luck to all my future fellow CDL holders!!
Lazy instructors won't show anything especially Jason all he does is yell at people
I had a phenomenal experience at 160, everyone was so helpful. I went in knowing very little about commercial driving, but once I got started the instructors (Gary, Zach, Dave, Charles) helped a bunch and taught me everything I know now, leading me to getting my CDL! All of the instructors let you make mistakes while your learning and then teach you how to correct it. I appreciate everything especially from (Gary, Dave, Charles, Zach)

The instructor Jim, he is so good and tell you each and every rule. I’m driving the car with so much of confidence. Thank you Jim. You are awesome.
Mr. Burgess is hilarious and teachs very well. He made it really easy to understand the rules of the road and I am doing great because of it. The tests are well organized and easy to understand. The tests are based off of the book and if you read the material you should be able to pass. The likely hood of you failing is so low because you have to get lower than a 75. Burgess driving school is probably the best you will find I highly recommend it!
Doug was awesome!! Absolutely one of the best, nicest , and funniest guys ever
Mr Burgess did a great job teaching my daughters class from 7-8am. They have an app that helps with scheduling driving appts. My daughter has done 2 of her 6 driving lessons so far with Todd and has had nothing but nice things to say about him. It is nice to know my child is in good hands with his team.
My son LOVED the class! Thank you so much! He says “Mr. Burgess is fun to listen to, he makes me not want to fall asleep in class.”

Maheen is an excellent instructor. She is very patient and calm. She really helped me build my confidence while driving. I highly recommend her. Thank you!
Had a great experience with this driving school. All instructors were very nice and helpful. Always approachable and worked with my son’s schedule. Very reasonable price. Made sure my son was ready for the test and sure enough he passed it in his first attempt. Will definitely recommend everyone to A1 Sports Driving School.
I took driving lessons from A1 Sports Driving School and my experience has been amazing. My instructor, Maheen Khan was beyond supportive in boosting my confidence while driving. She was very helpful & patient until I was confident to give the road test which I could clear only because of her. Price is very reasonable. She provides pick and drop, no extra charges for pick and drop. I would strongly recommend this school to everyone .You won't be disappointed, I promise!
I simply don't have words that can describe and pay gratitude to Mrs Maheen my special instructor. She is absolutely professional, patient and ensures to fine tune your areas of weakness. I have been lucky to have her as my instructor and thankful to her for transforming me into a confident driver on the road. I strongly recommend everyone for their driving trainings.
Passed my driving test first time with a perfect score all thanks to Maheen. She’s fun to talk to too and makes the environment of the car a very comfortable place for learning. If you’re having trouble getting in your hours or just need more practice i highly recommend her.

I am beyond word of how happy and greatfull I am with my instructors here at 160 Driving Academy in Joliet, they are the most wonderful team I’ve had the pleasure to work with. I went into this academy school not knowing much, nervous and thought I wouldn’t get it down after my first day of driving a manual. However the gentleman at this location never let me doubt myself and encouraged me everyday, they worked by my side everyday and today I am extremely proud to say ONE AND DONE BABY!!. Remember everyone, we all walk in not knowing much or anything but thanks to this team and your own willingness to succeed, we walk out being a successful CDL holder. Great instruction and plenty of practice time to get test-ready. Mr. Singh’s tips were especially helpful—I was able to get my license in just 24 days.
I took my first ever driving instructions from Singh driving school. Mr. Singh was always punctual, details, patient and explained the concepts in detail. Highly recommend them.
I just got my driver's license today after taking lessons from Jassy at Singh Driving School. She was patient and easy to ask doubts, and she taught me everything I needed to know about driving. Most of the practice was on regular routes rather than highways. It's a good option to consider if you are familiar with Hindi. Since I couldn't understand the language, Jassy managed to explain mostly everything in English.
Singh sir was a great teacher for a first time driver like me. He understands that every driver is different and tries to teach with that in mind. He immediately put me at ease when we started and my experience was great throughout!
I had a great experience learning with Jassi. He was always on time, explained all the driving concepts very clearly, and really helped me build confidence on the road. Highly recommend Jassi to anyone looking for a patient and professional driving instructor!

Fake reviews (read below), was on the phone on my first time driving EVER and made me uncomfortable, talked about how much better her other students are, and just overall terrible experience. EDIT: Got my license practicing with someone else. 10x better experience after being gaslit into thinking I wasn't meant to drive. Listen to your customers with legitimate needs, don't bring them down because they don't know something.
Extremely helpful school. My daughter enjoyed the classes with the instructors. Very flexible, had not meet a school that offer lessons at 7am the earliest and 10pm the latest two times of week and 9pm the other 5 days. Scheduling was easy to do via email.
The reviews at first made me a bit skeptical about their program however my instructor Mary was really nice and I was able to get my license
At this driving school, I learned many super helpful things in order to drive safely and responsibly. I could probably state a better thing that I learnt but the thing that I remember the best and vividly remember hearing is that when you turn, it has to be the lane closest to you. But there are more important thing I learnt of course, such as (the most difficult things for me) parking uphill and downhill parking, and how to merge into lanes properly.
My instructor Mary is awesome ! She was very patience, makes you feel at ease which definitely boosted my confidence. The communication with the school was very easy and fast. They did everything to accommodate my work and school schedule. They answered right away and set up me for success!

My son took a driving course at Excel during the summer, and during the winter he had Kiran Haq as his behind-the-wheel instructor. The Excel classes were thorough, serious, and convenient. Kiran was excellent. She was professional, patient, communicative with both the student and parent, and flexible with scheduling. She helped my nervous son pass his driving test. We really appreciate her.
Leo was my son's instructor. He worked very well with him. He put my son at ease and helped build his confidence behind the wheel. He was also very easy to work with when we had to reschedule. Thank you to Leo and the whole Excel staff. My son now has his license and couldn't be happier!
My son's Behind-the-wheel instructor, Nicole, was fantastic! She was very knowledgeable and flexible with scheduling; always took the time to answer any questions I had. It was a great experience for my son….will definitely have my 2 younger sons complete driver’s ed. at excel.
The staff was super friendly and helpful. My son's instructor was beyond amazing, he made my son feel very comfortable. He amanaged to arrange all the BTW classes to ensure my son was done on time by his 16th bday. They both have fun BTW. We had a great experience with Excel. Thank you!!
Kiran was a wonderful instructor! She was extremely positive during driving lessons. She provided feedback on what was going well and what needed to be worked on. Very responsive! My daughter enjoyed her experience with Kiran. Highly recommend!

These guys did a great job teaching . Especially on the yard from having no experience with a clutch at all . I want to thank all the instructors I came across as well as in the classroom
I enjoyed everything this school had to offer. Besides the affordable tuition everyone was willing to help/train. The front desk girls are wonderful. The in class instructors Chris and Jerry do everything possible to make sure you fully understand the pre trip inspection. The yard instructors are very helpful. I had the pleasure of working with Daniel Lucas Martin Maciek. I would recommend them all for your trainer. All in all zero complaints and grateful for the teacher's I had.
Really good school,I could only go to school on weekends because I worked full time but they were really flexible, the girl at the front desk was very helpful through the whole process and the trainers were great and explained everything very well,I took the test today and passed, they were also the most affordable best prices out there so I definitely would recommend them to anyone thinking about getting there CDL
very happy to have chosen this school, they adapt to your schedules if you have a current job and you're interested in taking classes for your CDL this is the right place. The instructor Pedro is one of the best in this school, when you get to practice in the yard with him you will realize what I am talking about, a huge advantage that, it stands out a lot that is bilingual so you can understand yourself without problems.
Good instructors Highly recommend.

Great in my opinion one of the best instructor of behind the wheel driving I was having a lot of problems in turning and breaking as well as smooth acceleration but this instructor explained me so well that I learned how to drive car completely and confidently in 2 days of classes.
Great storefront location. Comfortable air conditioned/heated environment. Friendly staff. Knowledgeable instructors. My instructor Luis is a great guy that met me with the company‘s car and insurance card at the Secretary of State to do my road test 30 minutes before my actual appointment in order to allow me to get warmed up. I would recommend this class for anyone who has not driven a car in over 15 years like myself.

Got my license today thanks to Citizens Driving School. It's competitively affordable and pretty near the Loop. I got 12-hour package (my schedule is tight) with instructor Michael (Mike). He's patient and tries his best to be clear on what he's saying. Driving needs intense focus so he's strict and sometimes raises voice, because he wants students to focus on driving safely and his instruction. He lets you know what you should know about the test as well. The office lady Michelle is helpful and really nice to talk with, she tries her best to help me make appointments as close to each other as possible since the school's schedule get filled up really quickly.
I already have a driver's license in another country, and I wanted to learn the US driving rules. I took two hours of driving with Citizens Driving School. They assign me instructor #4 (Mike). He gave me all the instructions and information I needed to pass the road test successfully. We used the same car on the road test day, and the same instructor was with me. This was very useful as he already knows all the details of the road test. He gives precisely enough information to pass the test, and no critical information is missing and no extra non-useful details that confuse the driver or the examiner. The school is very responsive and accurate in all the information. Mike can be too serious sometimes, but you will appreciate his advice and notes after you get your license.
This school is very good and my experience has been smooth. Ben (Instructor 2) is excellent with great communication and easy to get along with. He is also very knowledgeable and I have learned practical skills that only come from years on the road in a short amount of time thanks to Ben. He was also kind enough to be patient during a hiccup on test day with the appointment center that caused a delay of nearly two hours. Nevertheless, I passed the test on my first attempt thanks to his excellent teaching even though I was quite agitated due to the situation. The office lady Michelle is also incredibly helpful with any questions.
Fantastic driving school! My teen daughter completed her classroom hours thanks to their flexible scheduling. She then completed her driving hours with them as well. They are very accommodating and fantastic to schedule driving hours. Highly recommended for those with busy teen schedules. My daughter now has her license thanks to Citizens Driving School! Thank you!
Mr. Bo is an incredible instructor! He is calm, patient, and extremely humble, creating a relaxed and stress-free learning environment. His guidance not only builds confidence but also instills the skills needed to become a responsible and defensive driver. I highly recommend Mr. Bo to anyone looking for a supportive and effective driving instructor. A special thanks to Michelle from HR for her excellent communication and management—her professionalism made the entire process smooth and hassle-free.

My daughter had behind the wheel driving with Mr. Parker, Mr. McFarland and Mr. Malinowski. All are great instructors and very friendly. They kept me informed of my daughters driving at all times. Mr. Parker was very friendly and very informative. I would definitely recommend this Top Driver Instructors (Mr. Parker) for your child's driving privileges (behind the wheel) classes. All instructors made it a point to remember my daughter's name (which was very nice)! I rate them 5 stars!
I had a great time with Top Driver. Mr. MacFarlane was my instructor and he couldn’t have been better. He took great care in ensuring that I became road-ready by the time I finished my course, while also managing to help me calm my nerves when I first began behind the wheel classes. He was a great teacher and I recommend him to anyone looking to be fully prepared when they take their drivers test.
Thank you is not enough to express my gratitude for all of Mr. Parker’s help and guidance during my daughter's driving lessons. Her first driving lesson, Mr. Parker helped her gain confidence in explaining things fully and giving her the knowledge and guidance she needed. He is extremely friendly, patient, made her feel comfortable and confident when she went on the road. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a dedicated and professional instructor. He truly is the best and our favorite instructor out there. Hope you never retire, because I have two more kids that I want you to be there instructor as well. Thank you Mr. Parker and glad our paths crossed!!
Classes taught safe driving. Mr. Parker was my teacher he made class fun.
Mr. Parker is one of the best teachers and driving instructors I have ever dealt with. His confidence in his students and knowledge of young adults keeps them engaged in the classroom and on the road. He teaches them how to be respectful and responsible on the road. I highly recommend Mr.Parker if your looking for a professional.

Lizette my teaching instructor was racist and refused to service me off of me being nervous . She has horrible communication and has made my driving experience way more difficult then it was ever supposed to be . Even after speaking with her continuously explaining how bad I needed to take my drivers test , she had her mind made up the minute she approached my home that she would not be servicing me . Also the day of my appointment I had to call the office multiple times because I had not received any confirmation from her the day of . We had been in the car for only 5 minutes before she told me she refused to service me . This instructor has ruined my deadline for getting my drivers license all because she is prejudice and has a bad attitude. She made me very uncomfortable the moment I got in her car and told me I wasn’t ready to take my test after FIVE minutes in the vehicle . We had not even pulled off . A very distasteful company and a very disrespectful instructor .
Lizzette is the absolute best! I had not driven in years and was mostly overcome with nervousness. She poured into me and help me to tap into confidence that I had within. She was very transparent and patient and gave great inspirational talks. I had not really driven since my mom passed and didn't have a desire to because of it. Lizzette was very encouraging and empowering. Don't think twice to call them!
Akif did a great job teaching my daughter how to drive and helping her get her license. He was flexible with her schedule and available when we had questions. I highly recommend Asia Driving School!
This was such a wonderful experience! Lizette is such a kind and thoughtful person, and an even better instructor. I came in with some experience with driving but Asia driving school really focused on getting me to know the rules and small details of the road. I passed my drivers test the first time!
I passed my road test today.(10/01/2025).All thanks to Akif and team. My coach was Humaira, amazing instructor with great level of patience. She covered every aspect of driving . It was my first attempt and I am so happy that I could successfully passed my RT in full confidence . Humaira great job !!! Thanks so much Asia Driving school team . Cheers😊

Such an awesome school. The hours are non-intrusive, the way of teaching is entertaining, and the teacher is great! If you're nearby and you need to attend a driving school I would highly recommend this one.
My son enrolled at Green Light Driving School for classes as well as behind the wheel training for initial permit. Additionally, he also passed his road test administered by Green Light. The entire process and experience was good. Highly recommend them
Good teaching with a comfy environment.

Such a great school! Everyone that I know has had an amazing experience and passed all their tests on the first try. Would definitely refer others to this school. I liked the the pleasant way I was treated all the way until I got my license to drive in my neighborhood and order areas too.
I need ro review as I needed to refine my skills. They did provide great tools to raise my level of driving. Awesome advise by the staff and teacher.
I drove in the suburbs and in the city traffic. My confidence has increased in many areas that I needed to develop. I can do parallel parking and reversing very proficiently of which I owe to the instructor. Great teaching style it was worth it.

I am incredibly grateful to my instructors, Ethan Palacios and Luis Paredes, for providing such a positive experience. After just 8 hours of practice on the road, I successfully passed my road test and obtained my license. The entire team was exceptionally friendly and accommodating.
Excelente escuela para todos los servicios Muy profesionales y con mucho conocimiento. Los recomiendo a ojos cerrados gracias
I would like to thank My Drive Academy. With only eight hours of driving on the road, I was able to get my driver’s license. I learned the essential things from my instructor, Dany. He was very kind and patient, and he explained everything clearly. This helped me become confident in my driving. He is the best teacher.

Based on what I'm seeing swerving back and forth on McCormick blvd at ~25mph with a teacher sitting passenger, I would definitely NOT recommend them!!!
Carlos is proven to be an exceptional instructor, and with Freddie's guidance, I gained the confidence to become a skilled driver on the road
Carlos is an amazing instructor & the best! He helped me improve on my driving skills and gave me confidence in driving. He’s very nice & patient, & I would definitely recommend him to anyone who is going to be learning to drive for the first time or need more practice in gaining confidence in driving. Thank You so much Carlos!

This school is amazing. My instructor name was Victor I came there barely being able to drive and Victor was able to teach me all that I needed to know within 6 days. I honestly thought I never would drive but Victor was very confident in me and very encouraging he always had a metaphor or a story that would give me the confidence that I needed to believe I could do it. Though sometimes a little pushy but I knew it was because he knew I could do it he would say" I want you to get this license you can do this." Which I appreciate very much because I feel like when you pay your money for a service you should get the best service and Victor definitely gave me that. He was even willing to take me to the bank on the days I had to pay him so I didn't get charged an extra fee using my card and on the day of my driving test I brought the wrong papers he was willing to take me back home to get the papers, to the DMV to take the test, to the bank and drop me back at home after it was finished and I live all the way on the south side of Chicago. So not only is he encouraging he is accommodating which I really appreciate. I got more than what I paid for which I love and all for a reasonable price. So I highly recommend this driving school they won't fail you or waste your time and money and definitely highly recommend Victor he is an amazing teacher.
I came into Amigo Driving School after failing the Driving test twice in Florida. My behind the wheel driving instructor was Kate. She is a patient and well informed driving instructor. I was able to pass the test after doing the intermediate adult package. She made sure that I was confident and we also had some fun conversations throughout the duration of my lessons. I highly recommend Amigo Driving School for any drivers beginner or intermediate. Victor was helpful over the phone, friendly and attentive. Thank you guys!
I hired Amigo for my first time driving license and got it in my first attempt. Yesse was very friendly and pointed out the areas where I needed to focus more and guiding me throughout the process. She was punctual and professional. I would definitely recommend them to everyone looking to get a driving license.
I recommend amigo driving school. The owner Yesenia was a great instructor when she gave me my classes. the receptionist was very professional she did an amazing job on letting me know what packaged they have and how everything work. You guys should go check them out.
Passed my drivers test on the first try! Amazing teaching techniques. I had Kate as my instructor and I'd highly recommend her for any new drivers. Her teaching technique was amazing. She observes how you drive, then tells you what you need to work on as well as how to fix the errors you make while you are driving. I also had the chance to learn how to drive on the expressway which was great. Kate personality makes for a great ride where you can relax and learn at ease. She took me to my driver's test today, she helped me to the point that she was able to help me remain calm and stress-free while waiting to take the test. Hopefully, the new drivers will be able to have a chance to learn with her. Thank You Amigo!

Over all good school. The teachers are very good at what they do and they will work with you to get your cdl. The owner is rather rude tho. If you don’t want to up set him don’t fill out the survey sheet and don’t park upfront like I always did. I got told by the owner that he was going to drag my truck acrossed the lot with his truck. For what you pay for the school I would still consider it. It is one of the cheapest schools in the area. I did injoy my time there with the instructors they were very nice and willing to help.
Overcrowded, don't go here, you have to fight just to get a spot and time to practice. The owner Jeff is unpredictable, sometimes he is alright then he gets angry and always fighting with a student, there's no places to sit or get shade or stay out of the cold weather. Plenty of students ended up dropping out because it takes too long to complete and of course the owner doesn't care because he already got the money. Don't expect to go to the driving school and getting out in 2 months like you're supposed to. You get no one on one driving on the road training and it takes a long time for them to let you even just drive the truck.
Mike and Ryan are 2 of the best instructors I had there as long as you listen to what you're told the class is easy and goes by fast. Would definitely recommend this school to anyone.
Great place to learn how to drive a semi truck and how to pass the CDL exams. All the instructors are knowledgeable and helpful. Very inexpensive compared to other schools. No up charges if it takes you longer than 160 hours. If you're not ready for the exam, they won't let you take exam. Trust them, they want to see you pass not fail. And when they say learn your pre-trip they mean it. Took me 12wks to be ready. Took all 3 exams today and passed them all!
Money hungry and I big rip off! I wouldn’t advise no one to go here. It’s a huge scam. Jeff the “owner” is by far the biggest dirtbagg. They don’t care if you pass or fail. They’re worried about the payment! Stay far away from driving school.!! Overall zero stars. I would give them a 1 star just because Mike the instructor is cool.

As a student at this facility, I will say my experience has been incredibly positive. In-classroom lessons were clear and engaging. In-car driving lessons were smooth and insightful feedback was given, so I could enhance my practice with my parents. When scheduling my sixth drive, all of the dates were booked for driving and observing across all locations, including this one. I had called customer service, but they said nothing could be done. So, I contacted Mr. Davis at the Aurora Top Driver location to see if any space could be made, and we scheduled my last lesson that very same week. I am so grateful for his interactive teaching style in the classroom and his dependability in such tough situations.
I will first like to say that the initial process of signing up your student for classes is very efficient. The facility is in a great location and easily located. The biggest negative is the driving portion. The schedule only comes out once a month. This means you have hundreds of students trying to sign up for only a handful of slots. There just simply is not enough staff. There are also several days out of the month that are blocked off completely. This part has been such a mess. This really makes me wish that I just signed my student up through the school.
It’s a very good experience, although there are some reason why I may think that it’s not the best, but the driving and observation lessons were good.
First the positives: It was easy to sign up and make payment. Teacher was good and lessons were done well. Now the negatives: - Not a single spot is available to schedule a driving lesson for the entire next month. - Instructors tell the kids to do a few lessons with their parents. Now you can see why. - The whole reason of my signing up with Top Driver is so that I don't need to teach the basics. That goal is not met. - There are only 3 cars in the location and more than 100 kids in the classes. - It feels like "drink as much as you can" from an empty cup. I am happy that I did not sign up for the platinum programme which I seriously considered.
I had a very positive experience initially, but came across a very frustrating experience recently. My son‘s driving lesson was scheduled and he was hardly three minutes late. The policy says he should be there within 10 minutes of the schedule time. The instructor was not in the office and we were waiting in the car. He walked around 10 minutes later and told us we are late!!! He asked the neighboring business about the time we came And that person did say you are on time. He went on to mock my son that his clock did not work Correctly. He gave the toll-free number to reschedule the class and there are no classes for next one month. The customer support doesn’t Work during the time the lesson is scheduled and it is impossible to reach customer support. Top driver should not have such unethical instructors who lie and mock at students. Update 13.Mar.2025: There was no fee taken out. I am yet to get any call from your regional office though I was told someone will call me within 5 days. My son got a reschedule last weekend . But no one called me yet to answer on the impolite behavior and about the poor customer support service.

Pésimo servicio, el instructor llegó tarde, iba chateando en su celular mientras me daba la clase, llame al manager para decirle de él pésimo servicio , pidiendo se me diera mínimo la mitad el reembolso de lo que pague y se negó. Cero recomendable!!! Terrible service, the instructor arrived late, he was chatting on his cell phone while he gave me the class, I called the manager to tell him about the terrible service, asking that he give me at least half the refund of what I paid and he refused. Zero recommended!!!! I called you a week later to give him my opinion of his instructor and it wasn't after a month as you mentioned and I didn't need many hours, I just wanted to reinforce my knowledge. That's why I tried with only two hours which I did not like your service,
don't waste your money They are completely unprofessional,
Abraham is a great instructor- very patient and soft spoken . My overall experience was great and smooth with him. I totally recommend Abraham.
My driving instructor, Abraham was super knowledgeable and patient, making my driving lessons enjoyable and effective. Provided clear instructions and constructive feedback, helping me to pass my road test in under 2 weeks. Highly recommended!!
