Jay and carl are great instructors. Alot of good feedback and they take the time and patience to instruct. Always giving the students good advice on what they can do to improve and what they are doing wrong. Good instructor will recommend them for any person looking to learn how to ride.

Recommend taking their course(s) for all levels of riders. Haven't been on a bike in 12+ years. Forgot a lot, picked up random weird habits that I shouldn't have since I haven't been riding. The instructors are great. Will definitely at some point, once I get a bike and have some rides under my tyres, come back for an intermediate course. Courses like these really should be mandatory, sadly it's not but it does make getting your license "easier" as you get a significant amount of practice and valuable feedback to make corrections as well as tools to be added to your tool box which I am a huge proponent of as someone who dives and teaches. Plus something you learn here could save your life. There's no one tool for the job.
Great instructors , Carl katie EVERYONE was great.. they were patient and encouraging.. any beginner rider should take this class.. they go over great techniques and things you'd never know if you were self taught or taught unofficially from a friend.. definitely enjoyed myself! Worth every penny!
I’m so happy I took lessons from here! I didn’t realize how much value I would get from learning the fundamentals in such a short amount of time. The instructors Ian, Katie and Jay are very impressive teachers. So nice, easy to understand and follow, and they are all clearly masters of riding!

I passed my drivers test with flying colors!! Andy who was my instructor was very flexible towards my schedule, he was always very understanding and patient with any questions that I asked him. He made sure I was extremely prepared and confident on the day of the test. I would highly recommend Andy to anyone who is driving for the first time like me!
Can’t say enough about Andy! I’m so glad I went with him instead of any other driving school. As a first time learner as an adult, a sense of nervousness and anxiety certainly comes with it. I didn’t know how I’d feel or how it would go but after doing my first lesson with Andy, I felt relieved. He was understanding and patient with me. At the same time, he introduced other aspects of driving without pressuring me. He also made sure to feed me some of the nuances of the road that a new driver would have to learn through experience. Not to mention the funny stories to help calm my nerves! I was able to get my license on the first try without feeling unprepared or nervous. It goes without saying for teenagers but for adults, if you haven’t learned how to drive, go with Galaxy! You won’t regret it!!

Andy got me from never sitting behind the wheel of a car to a licensed driver in the state of Illinois in roughly three months. He picked me up at my home for the lessons and let me use his car for the DMV road test. I could not have had a better experience. There are a lot of things I appreciate about Galaxy Driving School, but the most impressive thing to me was how Andy had no desire to waste my time by scheduling me for endless lessons. He was honest when I needed to improve, but steadily built up my driving skills to get me finished with lessons in a really reasonable amount of time. It felt more like he was preparing me to drive in any condition than simply getting me ready to pass a test. The cost and quality of the lessons was unbeatable. Additionally, Andy has a ton of general driving knowledge. Wanna know what the plus and minuses are of a specific route, make of a car, or technique? He can help you. Crystal, the other person who works at Galaxy, is also extremely helpful and has lots of good advice about cars and driving. Genuinely can't say enough nice things about Galaxy Driving School.

I cant express how grateful i am for everyone at this school. Francisca for explaining everything from the pricing, and helped me study and answered every single question.(i had alot) , Arnold for being so patient and kind with me but still teaching me everything i needed in order to get me ready for my test. I took three behind-the-wheel classes with Luis and felt very prepared by the end of them! He was very patient and knowledgeable. I also took one class right before my driving test at the DMV with Dany, and he was equally helpful and kind. I had an amazing experience, and passed my driving test easily! I can’t recommend this driving school enough.

My son took the classes from Francisco and he cleared his test in one go. Francisco was awesome in instilling confidence and gave all the pointers for my son to succeed. His calm demeanor certainly helped my teenage son to be confident and made no mistakes in the test. Also we forgot to take a printout of the drivers ed certificate required for teen drivers and Francisco was kind enough to rush to a nearby FedEx and get it printed out while my son waited in the line at the DMV . I would highly recommend MyDrive Academy , the staff members are very helpful especially Emi in scheduling the classes, the Driver's Ed as well as behind the wheel lesson and not to mention the DMV appointment.

Franceisco is an outstanding instructor. He is super knowledgeable but also nicely explains the logic behind driving.He also gives a great supplement guidance on practical situations. I absolutely and wholeheartedly recommend Franciso.

Very calm and good teacher, the work is easy to understand. I didn’t have a rough time and I had fun learning.
I received numerous recommmendations to this driving school and it was as great as everyone said it would be! The instructor is incredibly patient, as well as, very articulate with his explanations. I felt extremely prepared thanks to his guidance throughout the lessons. And I know his advice will remain with me everytime I take the wheel.
The classroom was great and atmospheric, cozy and clean, people are friendly, the same as teacher, temperature is always good for being in classroom.

My aunt recently moved to States. She was an excellent driver back home but she was very nervous about driving here. I talked to guy Edward about her situation,he understands very well. My aunt took 2 lessons with him. First 15 minutes he taught her the basics rules before taking her to tha road. Then took her for lessons. He makes her very comfortable and boost her confidence. In 2 days lessons, she is very much ready for the test. People who moved from other countries I very much recommend Entourage driving school.
I got very good experience with this school specially eddy who is my teacher...he teaches every detail which is useful in driving. I recommend everyone to give first priority to entourage driving school.
I actually am super late providing a review. But I did a lesson with Miranda in 2023 I informed her that I am an anxious driver, and she was able to help me relax and get and understanding of how to manunever the car we practice in a quiet area just right turns for a bit and and then we drove through traffic. She was able to guide me through each step I was so nervous I was saying left but turning right but she once again reassured me. Then next thing I know we were driving during very busy traffic and construction zones and I was much more confident felt in control of the car. I felt embarrassed to 33 still unable to drive and she told me not to worry that her oldest student was 90 years old and it's never too late. She also even complimented me on a right turn through busy traffic where someone decided to cut me off for a left turn and I made the decision to jump into the lane as I had the right of way and didn't want to delay traffic she said it was excellent defenses and offensive driving on my part and that she didn't even have to tell me what to do. It was a wonderful experience, I didn't keep practicing immediately but I finally did get my license last year. I think I will definitely take another lesson or two with Miranda now that I'm trying to drive more confidently she is the best.
Excellent service. I’m very impressed with the quality of service this place has to offer. They are easy to work with. They waled me and my teen through the whole process. I think it’s family owned and that’s why they care. The cars are new and clean. The classroom instruction was easy for my kid to understand. I recommend these guys.

I'm sure the driver portion of this location is great based off reviews.. My one star is for a staff member (female) I see open just about every morning... Who arrives on a scooter and parks it in the literally middle of the busy corner... Doesn't know how to park but works there?
Javier is a phenomenal instructor! He is a very patient and knowledgeable teacher. I passed my road test on the first try in large part because of him! Highly recommend him as an instructor.
My driving instructor was Pedro! Pedro is excellent at what he does and a true professional. I was an anxious driver and he was patient with me, I passed my road exam on the first try. I recommend Nova Driving School, and Pedro especially.

I'm thrilled to have passed my road test with the help of NOVA school! Their expert instructors, flexible scheduling, and supportive environment made all the difference. My main instructor, Jerrard Will is the best one you could ever ask for. He was patient, knowledgeable, and provided personalized feedback that helped me improve my skills. He is the one who taught me how drive. Thank you to instructor Ruben John that showed me the crucial first steps of the driving course. On the day of my road test exam, instructor David B. made sure that I am 100% ready for the road test. He would guide me through the route of the actual driving test and explained really clearly what I needed to know. Thank you, David! I highly recommend this school to anyone learning to drive. Their team is dedicated to helping students succeed, and it shows! Thanks again for your guidance and support - I couldn't have done it without you!
Mixed experience. Most of my instructors were friendly, but the quality of instruction varied. One instructor kept me in a parking lot for most of our lessons because I was struggling with turns. I didn't understand some of her directions so I asked clarifying questions, but she couldn't explain things differently. Once I switched to Sebastian, Javier, and Frank, I felt in better hands but that many of my earlier lessons had been wasted — though I liked my initial instructor and she was kind. As an adult client, I also didn’t appreciate that Nova dictated when I could take my road test and would’ve preferred more flexibility to focus on practical skills like winter driving and parallel parking. I do have my license now, but I still feel unprepared on the road after 18 hours of BTW instruction. For lessons alone, Nova is 3-stars to me. The reason for 2 stars is their supervisor, Brenda. Nova charged me a $60 no-show fee for a lesson I believe was scheduled incorrectly. A supervisor, Brenda, justified the charge citing a recording of the scheduling call, but refused to share the audio despite admittedly misremembering details from it. After some back-and-forth, she offered the waiver but only one of my two BTW hours. I insisted on both and she promised to call back within 3 business days — then ignored my calls for nearly two weeks, knowing I had an upcoming move. When I finally reached her, she blamed the delay on a colleague’s bereavement and became increasingly unprofessional. She told me not to interrupt, spoke over me when it was my turn to speak, then left the call without notice. I waited on the line through several minutes of silence, heard her talking in the background (I think I was overhearing another client call), then more silence, and eventually a hang-up. When I called back, she denied it, repeated the same points, interrupted me again, thanked me and hung up after making several inappropriate comments. After a second request to work with someone else, I was finally told another supervisor would contact me but I doubt it. Ultimately, I did not get to use my driving hours and the $60 fee remains on my account. Would never recommend.

Nova is extremely unorganized and needs to get it together. They never sent to the DMV that I completed my drivers Ed course, which is needed to do behind the wheel driving, yet they still let me do behind the wheel driving. I went to the DMV to get my license with my appointment (which was very hard to get), and I wasn't able to get it because they messed up on their end. We called them and tried to figure out if they were able to submit my forms of completion of my drivers ed, and they were difficult. Their disorganization snd negligence is very frustrating and I am NOT the first person they have done this to. Do better.
I did a review on Yelp, as well, sharing how this great employee of Nova kept me from canceling my daughter’s lessons altogether and giving Nova a very poor review. Kevin Rojas, Nova is so lucky to have you!!! As you know, word of mouth makes a lot of difference and Kevin restored and kept that reputation in tact. Kevin was extremely knowledgeable and respectful. His customer service skills are note worthy, as well. His work ethic and follow through were excellent. Will I recommend Nova? Hands down, yes! The driving instructor, Martha, was excellent, too! She deserves a lot of Kudos! What a great partnership!!! What a wonderful service!!! Thank you.

My first experience at Nova was disappointing due to my instructor, Jeremiah. He was rude, impatient, and completely disregarded what I told him about my driving struggles. Despite me saying I didn’t know how to parallel park, he forced me to do it anyway, then got frustrated when I couldn’t. He even took me downtown on my first lesson which was very overwhelming and unnecessary. If you don’t have patience or basic respect, you shouldn’t be teaching people how to drive. I paid to learn, not to be talked down to. Thankfully, my next instructor, Aaron, was a breath of fresh air. He made me feel comfortable, safe, and confident on the road. If you’re new to driving, ask for someone like Aaron not Jeremiah.
Aaron and Jeremiah was the best teachers I had! Michelle was the worst teacher I had. She talks to much and doesn’t listen to me at all. All she do is yell instructions but Aaron and Jeremiah gave the best advice and was so good at regulating my anxiety! Nova is worth it but Michelle isn’t worth it. Ask for any other instructor
I am so happy that I found out about Nova Driving School. I hadn't driven in a few years, so I needed a school that made me feel comfortable. Nova did not disappoint. From booking my lessons with Nazareth to my driving instructor Jeremiah. They were all very professional and knowledgeable. Jeremiah is very patient and positive. Successfully passed my road test today thanks to my RT instructor Jeremiah, as well as Aaron who taught me during most of my driving lessons. They were both very helpful, patient, and I had absolutely no issues with them. I hope Nova values the amazing staff they have and doesn't take them for granted. Although I had a great experience with the instructors, I have to deduct a star due to Nova's recent lack of communication. When I took my road test prep lesson just over a week ago, I was told by the instructor that I would receive an email after he submitted the evaluation, and that I should call Nova asap to schedule the road test. However, even though he submitted the evaluation, I didn't get an email till days later after he submitted it again. Then when I called Nova to schedule the test, the operator told me that I would receive a call the day of the test from Nova, between 6:30-7-30 am, letting me know what time to meet my instructor. There was no misunderstanding on my part, because I also have an email that confirms that that is what she said. Well today I was expecting to be woken up by the call, however, the call never came. Thankfully I woke up at 7 and saw the text from the DMV stating what time my test would start. There was no email from Nova confirming the appointment time, nor who the instructor was. I waited until 7:30 to see if an operator would call like I was told, but I had to call Nova myself and the operator I spoke to told me that no, they never call the day of and that I was to meet my instructor 15 minutes before my appointment, and that they would contact me. I'm very disappointed and alarmed that I was told two different things by two different operators. When I arrived at the DMV, I was there for a decent amount of time and still didn't have the contact info for the instructor. I had already been in the check in line and at the information desk, where I was turned away because I didn't have the car insurance info on me (something Nova didn't communicate I would need). I then called Nova again, while standing in the cold & rain, so that I could get some information on the instructor and when to expect them, and I got a text from him around the same time. From there everything was fine, but I really felt like Nova's customer service almost set me up for failure. When you spend this much money on a driving school, you expect better communication. If Nova doesn't call the day of informing of the appointment time, then an operator shouldn't be telling me they would. At the very least an email should've been sent on what time to meet my instructor and when the appointment starts. Oh but wait, they did send it, at 2:34 pm...5 hours after my appointment time and 1 hour after I passed my test. All in all, I do think this is a good school. The instructors were great and I had an overall good experience, I just hate that I had to be filled with so much anxiety the day of my road test due to the lack of communication.
I had a great experience with Nova! I started as a nervous adult who had never been behind the wheel to getting my license after 6 lessons! I loved all my instructors, Michele, Jeremiah, Lee and Myeshia. They all added great knowledge and insight. Scheduling is a bit difficult, if you want a specific driver you have to schedule a month out. I still ended up having to wait a month between my 5th and 6th lessons even while being open to any instructor. Had Jeremiah for my road test and he was superb, definitely helped any nerves I had leading up to the test. I would not have been able to pass without Nova!

My instructor was Javier. His teaching was excellent: he was patient but thorough. He would notice my mistakes and give me tips to correct them. Taught driving in a way that is efficient and smooth -- not just "good enough for the test" -- I'll be continuing to drive the way he taught going forward. I had no experience with driving prior to Javier, but got my license after passing the road test -- thanks Javier!

160 really wants us to not only pass but to be successful. The instructors gets to know you Individually, this helps them figure out what works for you individually. Tiffany is VERY helpful as well she expects you to learn the information in class rather than memorizing it. All and all I would say 160 really gets you ready for the real world.

160 Driving academy is a Real Deal class A/CDL training school. As long as you go in to the program giving it your full attention your guaranteed to pass your first time like I did!! The price of the program is very cheap in my opinion for the level of training you get in return. Everyone you deal with is willing to help you on your journey. Tiffany, Randy, Doug, Jeff, and Rick are all great people in and out of the program. I would request this program to anyone that's considering starting a new career.

One of the best CDL schools you can go. First they provide you with the materials that you only needs and focus on it. Second the instructors and stuff are amazing, answering questions and providing help with anything you need to know. I had 2 training sessions from Edgar Instructor. Edgar Instructor taught me well in simple words because I don’t speak English. I’m so grateful. On the day of the road test, the Carlos Instructor kindly proceeded with my schedule. Thanks to this, I could pass the road test as shown in the picture. Registered today for an intermediate course and wasn't sure if I meet the qualifications. I was able to inquire over the phone and spoke with Camila who was extremely knowledgeable and helped me to identify if this was the right course for me. She also supported me in getting registered for my first session and made sure to ask about my availability and provided variety of ways to maintain contact. I'm sorry glad I had support in finding the right program for me would recommend their services.
Nova Driving School was an excellent facility to learn driving. My instructor, David Cruz was very professional, patient and informative. I was extremely nervous to drive but my instructor patiently answered all my queries and guided me very well. He was very supportive and encouraging. I took Nova's Adult Intermediate 6 hour course and it was excellent. I had Thelma P. and Augustine M. as my first instructors and they were both very reassuring and offered great advice. Ismail A. was my instructor the day of my road test; he was also fantastic! We practiced the course the morning of the test and he instilled a lot of confidence, eased my anxiety before the test, and also offered great general driving tips and defensive driving advice. I'd strongly recommend adult lessons for anyone interested; the instructor's have all been extremely helpful, kind, professional, and courteous. Having a mix of instructors also felt good because I got input and advice from multiple perspectives. I felt confident behind the wheel after my first lesson.
*update* I was given a refund for the lessons I had taken with the teacher who was inappropriate. Even though it took a while, we did come to a resolution, and the situation has been handled.** 1) I did get my drivers license so I'm thankful but 2) the teacher I had for my last two lessons, Anthony at the little village location, was completely inappropriate with me during those two lessons. Making diddy jokes, calling me pet names, touching me. Unacceptable. I called in to make a complaint three weeks ago and they just got back to me today to say that they're handling it. "Internally" I feel like I wasn't taken seriously I wanted a refund for the lessons that I took with him, they mentioned giving me an hour, but I was so frustrated. I hung up the phone. I tried to explain to the supervisor if this was his daughter, and he did not like me using that example. I wonder why. I don't think Anthony is calling 6 foot four KEVIN, "my love" the company explained that they couldn't extract the audio from the dash cam and not only does that create an unsafe environment for the person taking the lesson, but also a lack of accountability on the teacher. Sexual harassment training needs to be done and I need a refund. This teacher was around my age btw (27)

My daughter had a great experience with Excel. Kiran Haq was her driving instructor. She is an excellent teacher. My daughter’s permit was expiring soon, Kiran was able to fit us in on her busy schedule. Lessons started and ended on time and my daughter learned so much. I would highly recommend Kiran.

We were glad that we chose Excel Driving School (South Naperville). We were even appreciated to have Kiran as our daughter's instructor learning to drive. I had Frank, it was always a fun experience with him, he was funny but taught well. With him always in a good mood it made us more connected to him and we listened better, on top of this when he was serious we really payed extra attention.
I visited the Nova Driving School location to take my chauffeur exam, but unfortunately, I had a very unpleasant and unprofessional experience with one of the employees, Miriam. From the beginning, she treated me rudely and displayed behavior that I strongly felt was discriminatory. She also struggled to communicate in English, which made the process even more frustrating. When I politely confronted her about her rude behavior, instead of correcting it, she asked me to leave the exam and was trying to remove me from the process entirely. I requested to speak with a supervisor, and Miriam connected me to someone over the phone. I explained the situation to him and asked that he speak with her about maintaining professionalism, as Nova Driving School has always been known for its professional standards. However, even during that call, Miriam continued laughing and making fun of me and my friends in Spanish. She assumed we wouldn’t understand, but my friend, who was waiting next in line for the exam, was using live translation and caught everything being said. This was extremely disrespectful and disappointing. I did not expect this kind of treatment at Nova, especially during such an important exam. I hope this matter is taken seriously and proper steps are taken to ensure no other students have to go through this experience.
Chauffeur license . I was asked questions that aren’t even in book and it is required to pass at least 80% is so irritating and I wish I didn’t come to this school.

I passed my CDL A Automatic test first try. I will say Paying 5k out of pocket is not worth it. When I went to 160 they only had 2 garbage international trucks with 15+ students. They had us freezing our butts off outside in the winter in negative temperatures. They also don’t give everyone enough drive time. It really depends on the student to be able to absorb information quickly and to be able to immediately comprehend how a truck/trailer maneuvers. They put a lot of stress on people in a very short time frame. Not everyone is able to learn like that. Some of the guys were decent teachers but Some were slightly racist and sexist to some of the woman in class. BE WARNED. The entire trucking industry is sketchy. These companies try to prey on people that have no life. People they can force to stay OTR and underpay. I don’t see these schools as any different. Each student is just another 5k. If you can get it covered by a grant then do that but if I could go back I definitely wouldn’t have wasted my time and money.
They will not give prices over the phone. They make up prices per household and the most that household can afford. Every other place I call has a price. If this isn't the case why cant you tell me the price over the phone? Why? Scammy feel

In my opinion/experience 160 academy was a breeze as long as you put the work and time. The trainers/instructors were all amazing and gave good tips. But my faves…. I can’t even say but they know who they are. But put in that time and work and you will succeed 1 and done. Now it’s shhhhhmoney making time!!!!

Burgess Driving School is the best around our area. They communicate well and are very professional and respond very quickly to any questions you may have. They are very flexible with scheduling driving lessons. Have had my other son through another driving school and know others that have been to other driving schools in our area. I called in June and asked if they had remedial driving classes. The person on the phone said they didn't have any scheduled but they would ask and see if they could set one up and get back to me. I never got a call back. Saved up the money for the class. Called multiple times, emailed twice and left 2 messages with my name and number. Never got contacted. I called one more time and the woman said that they weren't licensed to do remedial classes and wouldn't be for 2 months. I called Balda driving school, immediately got someone on the phone and set up a class for 100 dollars cheaper for a simple 4 hour class! Now two days later burgess responded to my question on Facebook asking if they have remedial classes saying that they do. Are you licensed or not? So hard to get ahold of, overpriced and not reliable. Would not go here even if I could get ahold of someone to schedule it!

I am very glad that I came in contact with Sukhvinder at Singh Driving School (South Naperville). I really appreciated to have Sukhvinder as our daughter's instructor to trained her for driving. He was very friendly, patient, professional, and most important of all Sukhi was very flexible to schedule based upon our schedule. They are very unprofessional. If you're an adult looking to learn how to drive, this is definitely not the place. They charge the full cost of all sessions upfront and require you to complete them within 30 days. If you go past the 30-day mark, any remaining sessions will be forfeited. Additionally, they don’t allow sessions shorter than two hours, which isn’t ideal if you need time to absorb and practice. On top of that, the instructor behaves in a very flirty manner toward female students, which makes them feel uncomfortable. In my opinion, the flirting borders on harassment.

Our daughter received excellent instruction from Jennifer Grammer. She was engaging, professional, and incredibly patient. As a parent, I felt comfortable and secure with her, and my daughter loved her teaching style. I highly recommend her.
We were lucky enough to have Steve Fako as our both of our daughters' behind the wheel instructor. Steve is knowledgeable, calm, and a wonderful teacher. He was helpful through the entire process including after the required behind the wheel hours and navigating the State test. Steve is just the person to help your son or daughter navigate the road. His kind and calm demeanor is what makes him an excellent instructor. Highly recommend Steve!!!
The classroom experience for my child was fine. Dealing with the people who answer the phones was a huge issue. I called one day to ask about my son being marked absent when he was there and the woman argued with me and had a horrible attitude. I called back and spoke to someone else who was able to handle my issue in less than 5 minutes. Scheduling BTW lessons is a headache. The instructors are so busy they will make you wait 5 weeks to get your next appointment. And when I called concerned about this I spoke to yet another very rude lady named Samantha who did not want to help me or explain the process to me. She was extremely rude and could not answer my questions with actual answers. I would never use excel again.
My son's Behind-the-wheel instructor, Nicole, was fantastic! She was very knowledgeable and flexible with scheduling; always took the time to answer any questions I had. It was a great experience for my son….will definitely have my 2 younger sons complete driver’s ed. at excel.

The Branch Manager Janie Brown helped me with getting enroll in school. She helped me when ever I needed it. When I went to the yard Mr. Steve the instructor was great. He never yelled or made me think I was not able to do it. He took the time to explain everything I needed to know. He let me learn from my mistakes and helped me figure away out without giving me the answer which made me more confident. He was a awesome teacher. When I received my CDL they even helped me find a job. So if you are looking for a school to get your CDL 160 Driving Academy is the way to go. I enjoyed everything this school had to offer. Besides the affordable tuition everyone was willing to help/train. The front desk girls are wonderful. The in class instructors Chris and Jerry do everything possible to make sure you fully understand the pre trip inspection. The yard instructors are very helpful. I had the pleasure of working with Daniel Lucas Martin Maciek. I would recommend them all for your trainer. All in all zero complaints and grateful for the teacher's I had.

They are a wonderful driving school. My instructor is Bo, great instructor and really relaxed. He makes sure to give you mini quizzes as you're driving to make sure you know exactly what you're doing. Wonderful experience!!
This school sucks please don’t go here they don’t teach you anything. They will take your money and don’t refund you. If you want to get played out of your money then go here if not then go somewhere else. My institutor #2 his name is Ben this men is so unprofessional will just grab the wheel in the middle of you driving and will cause you to crash, he will also slam on the brakes scaring the student, he doesn’t teach you how to reverse out of an alley correctly and if he does teach you it will be once and he’ll expect you to get it he won’t teach again and he’ll do it the day before your test, on top of that he cut my session short everyday for 10 to 15 min and I can’t forget how the whole time he supposed to be teaching me but he was on his phone the entire time. How you teaching someone how to drive but not paying attention to what they are doing he knew I wasn’t ready for the test and said I was which I wasn’t ready and caused me to fail. Oh yea and he has road rage on the third day of my training he literally almost ran a men off the road with me in the car he was very reckless and didn’t care so please be careful when applying to them to take driving course.

I would enthusiastically recommended this place for anyone, especially an adult, who wants an efficient, timely, and affordable way to get your license through a driving school. I did the 8 hr adult beginner package and the lady at the front desk was so kind and helpful with everything. It was so easy to book and pay online, and she handles everything with the lessons and booking a road appointment at the DMV. My instructor (instructor #2), Ben was very tough! But tough in a good way cause he really pushes you to become better and he expects excellence from you. The lessons are super affordable as well and the fact that for the last lesson, they make you do a practice test that mirrors the exact road test was extremely helpful cause I knew exactly what to do on the road test. Overall, a great place for anyone to get their license!!
I got my drivers license today. I passed the road test on my first try! I thought I was going to end up paying for the Extremely Nervous package, but that wasn't the case. I only had to do the 10 hour package. Citizens driving school is amazing! Michelle is so nice and she is on top of everything when it comes to scheduling. My instructor was Mike (instructor 4). Honestly, I believe he's the reason I was able to get my license as quickly as I did. Listen to him! Listen to everything he says because this man is extremely knowledgeable. He's been instructing for a long time and it shows. Not only will he teach you how to drive, he will teach you how to drive SAFELY. That is the whole reason I wanted to attend driving school. I'm about to tell all my friends and family about Citizens Driving School. If a nervous as heck, never driven in her life, 31 year old woman can do it, so can you! Like I said, just listen and trust in Mike!

Mr. Macfarlane is a great instructor. My son had him a few times back in 2017 so when it was time for my daughter to sign up I was excited to see options on the website to select the instructor. My daughter has really gained quite a bit of confidence behind the wheel with Mr. Macfarlane. She enjoys her lessons and appreciates all the tips he shares with her. I'm very glad she was able to learn from him.
Mr. Parker was my teacher and instructor he taught me a lot about road safety and the r right and wrong maneuvers. Very patient and kind thank you Mr. Parker.
Coming from personal experience, Mr.Parker is the best teacher out there! He was so confident in me and gave me the best tips on how to drive! My experience at top driver was very good and also helpful. My instructor John Gauss was the best he made me feel very comfortable driving and made the lessons go by fast because we talked and cracked jokes. I would definitely recommend Asia Driving School - after two weeks of lessons with Akif I passed the road test on the first try! He is a knowledgeable and patient teacher, and he helped me feel confident and comfortable behind the wheel from the first lesson on. The school was also very fast at responding to my inquiry and kindly accommodated my schedule.
My instructor was Rakhshinda Jabeen. She was, and she is a great instructor. She is a patient and understanding teacher. She is loving ,caring, and kind. Lizette my teaching instructor was racist and refused to service me off of me being nervous . She has horrible communication and has made my driving experience way more difficult then it was ever supposed to be . Even after speaking with her continuously explaining how bad I needed to take my drivers test , she had her mind made up the minute she approached my home that she would not be servicing me . Also the day of my appointment I had to call the office multiple times because I had not received any confirmation from her the day of . We had been in the car for only 5 minutes before she told me she refused to service me . This instructor has ruined my deadline for getting my drivers license all because she is prejudice and has a bad attitude. She made me very uncomfortable the moment I got in her car and told me I wasn’t ready to take my test after FIVE minutes in the vehicle . We had not even pulled off . A very distasteful company and a very disrespectful instructor .
Asia Driving School is amazing! Communication/efficiency in getting signed up for lessons was fantastic. My instructor Humaira was an absolute angel of a teacher. I told her I had anxiety about driving & she taught me with patience, expert guidance, and reassurance. She is very calm and collected, and teaches with grace and clarity. Ideal driving school was a great service for me. Coming from Canada all I needed to do was the test to complete my license exchange. Scheduling was super easy with them. I hadn't driven in over a year and was super nervous but the instructor quickly made me feel comfortable and confident in my driving skills. He was super informative of what was needed for the test and helped correct my experienced driver habits. Overall I would highly recommend Ideal driving school as I had the best time and passed with flying colors!
I would really recommend this driving school. I started out as someone with no prior experience at driving before. I took a total of 6 two-hour lessons. I learned the main principles which was well worth the investment.

There were a few rocky moments but overall I’m glad I took lessons here. If it weren’t for this school then I wouldn’t be driving at all and also wouldn’t have my drivers’ license. When I first got inside of a car I would get severe driving anxiety and freeze up but because of this school it really helped me overcome that. Now I’m driving around as if it’s nothing. They also let me take the road test on a different day because I came a bit late which I appreciated. If you don’t know how to drive and want to learn then I definitely would recommend this school. It is very affordable and instructors are very informative and friendly.
All of the driving instructors are nice and friendly. I had Julian as an instructor and he saw me struggling with my right and left turns and we spent almost an hour until I got it right. Thanks to him, I now know how to correctly make my turns. I really recommend him if you are struggling because he is really patient and will help you a lot. Yessi took me to the DMV to get my license and practices with you before taking your road test to make sure you're ready. I found that really helpful. Thanks to them, I passed my permit and road test on my first attempt !
Hi, I am extremely thankful to Victor and Kate and highly recommend Amigo driving school to everyone who is looking for the services offered by them.They have good experience in this field and so very good chances of you being successful on what you are looking for could be to learn driving or get a license done. Just want to share my experience, I recently moved to Chicago and was looking to get comfortable driving in US with left steering ( I was only used with right steering wheel throughout my life) and wanted to get a license. On first day Kate helped me to get comfortable driving on the left and must say her training was really good by end of my training i was able to go around by myself. On the matter of getting my license Victor was really kind, I had paid my fees and scheduled training and Car but unfortunately the documents I had carried did not meet the criteria for a road test, the day was wasted. Thankfully Victor scheduled again without any further fees and let me take road test few days later.I successfully cleared the test, guys it’s worth the money if you are seriously looking out to get your license done!!! Thanks AMIGO DRIVING SCHOOL!!!
My sister needed driving lessons. We were able to contact Amigo and get information from Victor. He was extremely helpful, a week later we booked classes and my sister will be taking her road test with the confidence that she will receive her license. She loved victor and his patience with her since it was her first time behind the wheel. I recommend this place.
Based on my experience, I would say that Amigo is one of the best driving school in Chicago. Although I literally had no experience in driving, Oscar helped me in getting the license within 1 week. After analyzing your driving, He will always make sure that you end up correcting the mistakes which you make in the process. He really understands where you stand and will patiently teach you on mastering the skills with his easy techniques. If someone really follows on his advice, then I am sure that they will end up with a license in their hands within 7 days even if you have not touched the steering wheel before. If you are now deciding on your driving school, Don't hesitate and go for AMIGO!!

My boyfriend called to ask about the classes, and one of the ladies working there told him he didn’t need them, even though my boyfriend didn’t have the chance to explain or ask further questions. She told him it was close despite it was during opening hours and didn’t let him talk at all. She was really rude to him

Terrible organization. The staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. Cursing at students and at each other. Doesn’t explain ANYTHING regarding the flow of class. Refers students to YouTube for lessons. Doesn’t answer questions throughly and staff is often absent. This place is not what you would expect from a CDL school. They do take the WOIA grant. Use it else where this place is not organized at all. And the staff is very rude and unprofessional.
Worst CDL school to learn at if you're a beginner the Instructors have no patience & don't know how to teach . Especially in a Manual truck to a Beginner. My company Pulled me from the program & i went to 160 driving academy & Got My CDL when i went to 160 i instantly grasped the concept & it was so easy coming from teachers who actually know how to teach . I would only refer this school to people who are Advanced & know a thing or two about manual transmissions.
Mike and Ryan are 2 of the best instructors I had there as long as you listen to what you're told the class is easy and goes by fast. Would definitely recommend this school to anyone.

Makes me sad I’ve recommended two people here after I was there in 2014 and it was great school to get a CDL.. now the people I’ve recommended say such bad things about this place. The instructor do not wanna explain or help out the students they tell the students to ask other students for help. When I was in advantage driver training school I believe we had the best instructors at that time at now sounds like the owner just doesn’t care anymore it’s just an extra paycheck. $4000 a lot of money to give to somebody and not train their students I am so sorry that I recommended this place to my friends and family to get the worst training ever.

DO NOT COME HERE! Worst customer service experience in my life. For context, I only wanted to do Behind the Wheel since that is the only portion I needed (I completed the Classroom portion beforehand at my high school). I paid $500, was there for about 4-5 days, everyday I was asking the supervisor how I can only do the Behind the Wheel portion and not the Classroom one. They kept stalling me the entire time, only telling me that they needed to ask the Oswego location manager. How does the Oswego location manager have anything to do with this? Then, on the last day I was there, they told me to just contact customer service. Couldn't they have just told me that the first day I was there? Yes of course, but they needed to stall me for more days so they wouldn't have to refund. After I called customer service, they said they wouldn't refund at all. I didn't even learn anything new in those 4-5 days, it was all common sense (ex: don't drink and drive). They scammed me of $500 and refused to refund. Also, the overall class is terrible, the supervisor just sits there most of the class period and they play outdated videos from like 2008 for 2/3 of the time. Also the room is extremely freezing cold, it's so cramped to the point nobody has personal space, and the bathroom is dirty. It's overpriced, staff are lazy or rude or will stall you, customer service is horrible, and the actual education is not worth the money. Additionally, when I emailed customer service about only doing Behind the Wheel, they asked me to show proof that I passed the Classroom portion at school. I gave them proof, I showed them multiple screenshots of my grade to show I passed. Then they asked for proof of the final grade passing, I sent a screenshot of that too. They didn't believe me, saying it is not "valid proof" (literal screenshots from StudentVUE...) and made me email my teacher to get a teacher's note stating I passed. Then I had to go back and forth emailing my teacher to get the note and etc. Also throughout this entire endeavor they were being rude and I did not feel welcome at all. Honestly just go to any other location or company like Excel Driving School or the Naperville location for Top Driver because this one is terrible.
I was a student there and every single instructor was so kind and nice. They all taught me very valuable moves. 5 out of 5 just for the instructor's.
I passed my driving test this week and could not have done it without the skills and expertise of the folks at Top Driver. Despite my age (44) I had never driven before, had never even been interested in it honestly, but booked a block of 6 lessons and was taken from the raw beginnings to driving safely on the highway. The staff were excellent, polite, easy going, knowledgeable and fun so the lessons never seemed like a drag or a chore. I was given hints and tips to help me pass at every stage and couldn't be happier with the education they gave me. Customer service was perfect - one time I had to postpone a lesson and it was rescheduled with no hassle and another time they had to reschedule by 30 mins but phoned to let me know in plenty of time in case I wanted to reschedule if the new time didn't suit. I'd highly recommend this service to anyone.
