They were ao nice here and they explained everything so well I highly recommend to come here especially if you are under 18!
This is a incredible place for genuine help and good nature. I could go on and on about this places greatness, but I'd say that you should just go there for yourself.

I just had my road test with Eco Driving today, the instructor was amazing. He gave calm and clear instructions during the test. Their car was incredibly smooth. They deserve more than 5 stars. I will recommend them to all my family and friends.
Had had two drivers in our household go through their program and both passed their licensing tests with flying colors. Great business and people! They are convenient with pick up/drop off, online courses and easy & timely communication! Highly recommend.
Awesome road school; very flexible and accommodating. I loved being able to do the bulk of communication via text, and he picked up my son from school for drives and dropped him off at home, which was amazingly convenient. My son passed his road test on the first try. Amy and Ken are both great teachers and they gave us all the information we needed to complete the entire process with ease.
Recently we had tried to do the road test at the DMV and was forced to look into months ahead for appointments due to no availability within any nearby timeframe. We found Eco Driving from the suggested third party testing locations and decided to schedule with them since they could take us the next day instead. Went to the appointment and the tester was super kind and patient with my foreign wife who is still learning English. Allowed us to use our car as well instead of the test car for ease of use. The tester's family was also kind enough to provide a chair for me with my baby while waiting for my wife to complete the test. Very smooth and kind people! Would recommend for anyone struggling with the DMV and wants a way better and simpler way to complete the driving skills test. Thank you again Eco Driving Utah!
Eco Driving was great! Amy is a friendly, helpful instructor who fully prepares students to pass their road test on their first attempt. Throughout the practice drives she provided positive, constructive feedback. Highly recommend!!

Thanks to Zainah, I was able to memorize my entire pre trip. Alex and Gerald got my shifting and driving to a perfect level so I can be ready for the road and any obstacle I may face. Big thanks to Brian for keeping me on my toes and making absolutely sure my backing is good, and that I was ready to test. All the staff did an amazing job and will get you ready to get your CDL. Highly recommend anyone looking to get theirs to come here first!

If you desire to be a CDL Driver and open up a door to many possibilities, go to Mountain West Truck Driving School , Salt Lake City. The instructors are highly skilled in teaching you what's needed to obtain a CDL license. Flexibility, patience and personable is what I liked the most about Mountain West Truck Driving School. Kenneth H. 🤓👍
I loved my experience with this school. I really could feel and see the genuine interest from all the instructors in my individual personal success graduating successfully. There were students coming from other CDL schools who complained about their bad experience with several other alternate schools and were happy with making the switch to Mountain West Commercial Driving School. I feel like I was very lucky to have made my choice and for that choice to turn out being a great school, especially when I had so many schools to pick from. They were fantastic with quality of trucks, materials, instructors, and their teaching instruction. All a student has to do is show up and they take care of everything you need to graduate successfully and rapidly. Thank you Mountain West.
If your looking for the right place to get your CDL... look no further !! At MNT WEST ... your family ! Daniel was patient with me even when I made mistakes on our drives, so it wasn't super stressful, and it was fun getting to know him and the other students. There were always about 3 students in the car so you could take breaks during the lessons. Also, we got practice in neighborhoods, busy streets, and the airport which I think is a good mix
It was easy to set up an appointment. The road test was comfortable and professional. Daniel was a great instructor. I passed thanks to his patience as well as thoughtful guidance. Thank you!
Now honestly I was scared at first walking into this class and driving. But Daniel makes you feel comfortable right as you get in the car. He is a very patient and kind person. One of the best driving instructors. He will teach you all the tricks he’s learned and everytime you do it his way it’s perfect. I loved my experience with this driving school, and honestly kinda missed the class ending so soon. So I highly recommend this for any kids or adults who need to learn how to drive, Daniel is one of the best! Thank you so much Daniel for getting me to the point of getting my license!!!
Daniel is an amazing driving coach! He was patient, clear, and made me feel comfortable right away. Each lesson was easy to follow, and his encouragement really helped build my confidence. Thanks to him, I passed my driving test on the first try. I highly recommend National Driving School to anyone learning to drive!

Instructor was very helpful, and reasonable. Helped me out a lot on my road skills test. Highly recommend this school
don’t go here they’re after your money and that’s it. i am a great driver which i got confirmed with a REAL driving instructor, and this place failed me so hard it was insane. there was something obstructing my pedal in between the gas and brake, he didn’t let me signal for even 1 second before he docked me for not pulling over or turning NOW RTFN NOW NOWWWW. and i was literally in the middle of putting on my seatbelt when he first sat me down in the car and told me IN THE MIDDLE OF PUTTING ON MY SEATBELT to turn on the headlights??!!! and then docked me because i was putting on my seatbelt. i hope y’all get shut down wholeheartedly because you’re after money and you’re tearing kids confidence down making them think they’re terrible drivers when it’s actually you guys.
This instructor will answer his cell phone instead of paying attention to you as the student. He will rudely scream orders at you while he is having a separate conversation on his cell phone. He does not speak English well and he does not Speak Spanish well. Este instructor no habla Espanol. Evitalo. Este senor pasa todo el tiempo hablando en el telefono en vez de prestar bien servicio a la persona que tiene en frente en el carro. No pierdan su dinero.
The instructor was very dedicated and helpful!! Doesn’t take too long to learn and feel comfortable behind thr wheels. Thank you!!
Great driving school. Allows you to go at your own pace so they do not rush you. Instructor teaches you many things and they are easy to understand. Not bad at all.

This instructor is very good. I was a complete novice in driving and he really takes his time to make sure you understand and can actually do each maneuver correctly. I recommend this school for anyone who really does want to learn how to drive in Utah!
I took my drivers skill test here. The test and the instructor were very straight forward. At the end of the exam, he walks you through what points you lost and why. Overall, very nice.
This is the worst service I’ve ever experienced. It’s hard to imagine encountering such awful instructors in the United States. This driving school is completely scamming you. They promise a 2-hour lesson, but the instructor almost never gives you the full time. If you are late, they will cancel your appointment and won’t allow you to reschedule unless you pay another $120. This is outright extortion. During training, they also threaten to stop the lesson if you make another mistake. I've never met anyone so mean-spirited. They’re just here to swindle you, and what they teach is often incorrect, I was told to drive much slower than the speed limit(25), in resident area, but the driver examiner won't buy it, and he doesn't told me how to do U-turn correctly, like what the detail of the head check, but he is an arrogant man that never admit his fault, and He will talk about how great his teaching has been but will never admit his mistakes or apologize for them. If you don’t want to waste your money, don’t come to this terrible place
Whether you're seeking a professional Driver's Ed experience or a reputable Third-Party Tester, the Salt Lake International Driving School (SLIDES) is the place to be. I deeply appreciated Mr. Eftin's patience and expert guidance, as this not only allowed me to settle my nerves but adequately manage my expectations during the State Road Test. As a result, I was able to pass my test and I'm absolutely positive that I will continue to improve my confidence and the driving skills needed to safely navigate the roads. It also helps that they're budget friendly! I would highly recommend SLIDES for all your driving needs. Thank you SLIDES!
I highly recommend thisDriving School! The instructor explains every rule clearly and makes learning to drive simple and stress-free. A great place to gain confidence on the road.

We have had all four of our children attend Wright Driving school. They have a great program. I highly recommend them.
Marnie Shook was the best all her instructions very clear and she taught me everything absolutely the best.
I drove with the Shook’s and it was a great experience, they were really good instructors, and I really appreciate their patience with me and other drivers.
They were very professional and courteous. They were able to work with me when my son had a driving appointment scheduled but then he got sick at the last minute. They were very understanding and helpful.
Kylie really came through for us when the instructor for the Vernal area wasn't available. She came out to Vernal to do the driving sessions for my son herself! He enjoyed them and learned a lot! He also did really well with the content from the online course, despite having to redo a few of the modules because of some technical difficulties.

Jake and Wes are awesome they fit me in as fast as possible right after I called they did great working around my schedule and were super chill and nice.
I love Utah elite driving school! They have the best teachers and they went over everything you need to know. 10/5 stars
There was a problem with my daughter getting her Utah license from having a Missouri license. Elite quickly got the ball rolling to get her enrolled in classes and driving lessons so she can get her license back. They made the process a lot less stressful for her.
The high schools were booked out for getting my sons drive times in. Jake and Wes were super flexible and workable in getting driving times coordinated. Would definitely recommend them to anyone!

Become a good trucker even thanks to Apex, after the school I started to drive immediately as a company driver. Was their care and tips I never had an issue. I highly recommend Apex for the quality, the integrity and honesty of the entire group. Try hey teach you only how to drive, the regulations and the practice of how to this and that The real challenge is to deal with companies that want to hire you. Pretty dishonest and bully. Remember always what your instructor said when you have an issue, the truck is supposed to not leak exhaust in the cabin, so buy a carbon monoxide sensor and if it alarms during the job ir the idling, don’t think too much, put the truck out of order, call the company and if they starts to makes stories drive til the next shop, say NO. Call the DOT and let them know that the company pretend you drive in violation. If you don’t do this, the company will retaliate and put in the black spots. Companies are not families, are commercial entities that don’t care about you driver. Don’t be fooled by great words. Money is money , words are words. Protect yourself, you are alone while driving, only you are the one who cares of you.
Great instructors thanks to Ricardo, Matt, Bryan and Brittney they were great and I learned a lot when it came to backing. Being hourly I knew I had to get my moneys worth and stay focused on the big prize which is passing on your first try and getting your license to get on the road and start a career for yourself and your loved ones! Outstanding school overall.
❌ DON’T COME HERE ❌ The instructors on this school are ridiculous I had to learn the most of the backing and pre trip by myself with no help from the instructors because there was no one available. 2 of the instructors; Shae and Dallin are the ❌WORST❌ they don’t pay attention to the students and just sitting in their own cars texting the entire time. They are a joke this school is a mess.
Alex and Richard were such wonderful trainers. I came here as a third party tester. I let my CDL expire and had to retake the test again. I highly recommend paying for an hour or two prior to testing as the requirements have changed. Hayden made me feel at ease during my road rest. He explained everything thoroughly and was such a nice young man! Thank you all very much. This facility also does quite a bit of charity work which I was able to witness first hand.
Apex Trucking has been absolutely fantastic to work with. The staff here has been very patient with me (which I find very important when it comes to teaching) and gave me an ample amount of time to self-study which is how I learn best. It's hard to find a school that had a general outline of your day-to-day activities but still allowed you to have some personal time both outside with the trucks and inside the class to read on your own. I was fortunate enough to be the first GI BILL student here at this school since they recently were certified by the federal government. The process went smoothly for me and there was no issue with either them receiving the tuition from the government or me having the BAH and book stipend processed. I firmly believe in honest reviews, and so along with that, I feel the equipment, while still functional, could be more updated. I do realize when teaching people who have never driven a semi-truck before in their lives that you don't want to hand over brand-new expensive equipment to trainees, so prospective students need to understand older trucks is what most trucking schools use. Keep in mind though; you may have a school that has newer equipment, but what good is it if you hardly get any time behind the wheel to train? Or you're yelled at by aggressive and impatient teachers, or taught incorrectly by people with no experience? While I wouldn't have minded newer trucks, the one-on-one time and attention I received from people who actually knew their stuff was far, far more valuable than any other factor. Lastly the facility was a small suite and was a little cramped with so many students (especially considering their quickly growing class sizes) but in the coming weeks they will be moving to a nicer area i'm told, so that should resolved that issue. Overall, this is a great school to choose, and I felt like I really learned not just the minimum to get by, but a lot more that better prepared me for any future job I would have as a driver. They focus a lot on safety, which is paramount to me. So do what I did; stop reading about different schools, choose Apex, and start earning that money!

A-1 has been really helpful. This was my second drive, but first time at the Provo location. My instructor Jackie was very helpful and detailed when it came to learning the maneuvers. I am much more confident with my driving ability thanks to Jackie.
Jackie is the best!! He’s an amazing instructor who is really friendly and super patient. He prepared me for my road test and taught me many helpful tips. He made me feel a lot more confident about my driving! Highly recommend.
A-1 driving school is great! The online course has been very beneficial for me in the process of getting my license. Jackie is a wonderful instructor. He is patient, straight forward, friendly, and is very specific in instructing. He has helped me learn more about my own driving and helped me feel more prepared for my road test.
My driving instructor Jackie is a great instructor! He is very friendly and very patient helping me out with all the things I need to become a better driver. As we were driving I quickly became less nervous because of his attitude.
My instructor Jackie has been very accomadating for my needs, he understands my anxiety and keeps me calm. He's tough but nice and makes sure you know everything to watch out for in the road test. He's awesome all around and I'd highly recommend him for all your driving needs.

I recently completed my training at Premier Driving School, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. Over the course of 10 days, I had the opportunity to learn from highly knowledgeable instructors and testers who were both professional and supportive. The lessons were challenging in the best way—pushing me to improve and gain confidence behind the wheel. The structured approach to training made the learning process smooth and effective. Overall, I highly recommend Premier Driving School to anyone seeking a top-tier driving education!
I had a great experience. I was fortunate to have a small class and got a ton of extra time behind the wheel.
I had a great experience with the Premier CDL school in Salt Lake City. The instructors are very good, patient, knowledgeable, and very helpful, the admin staff are all very friendly and efficient, the facilities are super comfortable and clean with everything a student would need, and plenty of shopping nearby. There is a cafe / resturaunt onsite with 2 kitchen and dining areas for students. There are laundry facilities, movie theater, gym, store, etc... i definately recommend Premier CDL Salt Lake City as a first choice for training.
I had a great experience at premier truck driving school. All the instructors are very well trained to handle all your questions. Jaden and Juan were the best instructors for the backing exercise, Cowboy he was great for the manual truck road lessons and Andy he was great during my final test. Also, having your CDL in 10 days was in an excellent choice for me.
If you need a real driving skills and knowledge how safely operate commercial vehicles (CDL class A and B with passengers endorsement), welcome to C.R. England Premier Driving School! Great trainers, good equipment. Thank you Premier Driving School!

Everything was straight forward. Instructor was good, and testing on the road didn't take that long. Basic easy test to get your skills test done I recommend this place for those who need it ASAP!
The Utah DMV issued a license to me, and then sent me a letter in the mail telling me I needed to pass a driving test. They were not able to accommodate a driving test for three months. I reached out to A Plus driving school who was able to get me in for a test same day. The entire process took lesson 30 minutes, excellent instructor very efficient. I am one very happy customer. Thank you very much A Plus driving.
The driver instructor was VERY unprofessional. He will not pass you just so you have to come back and take the test again to get another 60$ from you. He expected me to head check for EVERYTHING. Half the time I was testing I couldn’t even look at the road because he wanted me to head check so many times. I would definitely NOT recommend going to this school. ( mind you he made me take my test at rush hour!)
I have been driving for a year prior to going to get my license. I was scheduled during rush hour on the busiest road possible. Very unprofessional and failed me to get an easy $60
Very un professional, he just stold 60 dollars

TLDR This place does truly terrible business and steals your money. I signed my child up for the quick driver's ed course ($390) needing her to be done by a very specific date. When I realized the course didn't start until a week after it needed to be completed, I reached out via email for a refund. This all happened within less than 24 hours. They didn't respond for a couple of days so I called in. I was then told they wouldn't issue a refund. Why? The service paid for would not be provided and the request was made before the funds would even post to their account. And nowhere on their website does it mention a refund policy when signing up. They told me they would do the road test which is a $50 service and some private lessons but not issue a refund. I live in Sandy - I'm not driving to Orem for private lessons. When I setup the road test, they asked me to make payment for it while in the office - Seriously!? I already paid this company close to 800% the going rate of the road test. They failed her on the road test for stops. I've been driving with her for months - I know how she drives and it's better than most adults in Utah. It was an absolutely bogus fail in an attempt to get more money. When she did the road test the next day with another company, they didn't mark her for anything wrong. Why on Earth any business would not issue a refund for services or goods not provided is beyond me but it's entirely shady.
Getting your license through alta driving school was the most easy, pleasant, and non stressful experience ever! these guys are great

Very fun and relaxing not at stressful as I though it would be he helped me out a lot and showed me what I should watch out for on the real test this was at the West Jordan location
I changed to West Jordan location from Riverton and I so don’t regret it :) Zeb was a great teacher! Thanks!
oh my goodness the west jordan A1 drivers school helped me so much! they were really nice and patient with me. i got my permit and license in less than two months. i recommend!!!!!!
Their training cars are well maintained. Special shout out to Carl: he's the best ever instructor you will find anywhere in the US! Very patient, encouraging and yet super vigilant on the road. He shared so many nuggets of wisdom about driving, which are otherwise not taught by anyone else. Thank you, Carl!
This is my first driving school at 21+ years old. The instructors are great. it's pretty easy to schedule drives, but the price is pretty high. A lot of the online coursework could have been put together a lot better rather than really short sections on a dozen different pages to make it seem longer than it is. But maybe it was intended that way? I don't know. Either way, I feel mostly ready for the road test, and I am very grateful for A-1. Edit: I got my license. I don't remember my instructors name, unfortunately, but if you see this. Thank you.

Was so fast and easy! Took my road test with vincent, was super supportive and even reminded me of tips and tricks. Done in 15!
Lets start out from the beginning! I got into the car and I wasn’t quite sure how to move the seat back and when i asked for help he said “ its not that hard”! I was trying to be in a position mood and he just completely brought that down! He claimed i wasnt at the stop sign long enough! Then he said i went when i shouldn’t have even though there wasnt any cars! He failed me and it was just unnecessary! I went to another driving place to do my road test and i paid nearly $15 less! I had no problem passing my test at the other place! I would not recommend this place at all!
The instructor was so helpful and made sure to remind me to do head check cause I kept missing it lol overall a very good experience !
I took my drivers test here . The driving instructor did an amazing job at explaining everything and making the test a little less scary . I really recommend !!

I really enjoyed learning to drive here, it was helpful and my instructor Jackie was amazing! I didn’t feel rushed or anything, he was very kind and patient and I appreciated that. His teaching methods were very thorough and they helped me understand what I was doing and why I was doing it that way. Thank you!!
The lady my daughter tested with was so kind and bent over backwards to make her comfortable and not nervous. She assured that they would've go on really busy streets but in neighborhoods. Since the testing place is near State Street in Orem, that was very relieving. She was nervous at first, but she came back confident and smiling.
Very nice tester who made me feel super relaxed and we drove a nicer car that was easy to control.
Our experience for the drive tester was that she was worse than just going to the DMV for free. Don’t waste your money here.
Jackie was great with me. He’s direct and blunt, but also very kind and respectful, which is exactly what every kind of driving student needs. Even after taking my lessons in April, the core principles he taught me were still apparent during my test. I would definitely recommend this driving school, more specifically him. Even the driving school i took my driving test with said he was great. Awesome dude.

La señora Greta de la recepción muy muy amable, suplió mis necesidades. Hablan inglés, español.. el instructor Ben excelente, me sentí en confianza y cómoda al hacer mi examen de manejo! Los recomiendo totalmente
I recently just did my test at the location in west valley. I had an amazing experience and the secretary Greta was amazing. I did my test with Ben who was super helpful. I highly recommend doing the test or learning with this company.
I recommend going to this school for classes or road tests. Everyone was nice, service was great, and the secretary Greta is very polite and helpful. She resolves all your doubts and she welcomes you with a smile.👍🏻💯

Vinson was really nice and took the time to explain and compliment my driving in the test even though it was a Sunday.
Everything went very well and professionally, the whole process was explained to me. I recommend! 💯
Super sweet instructor 💕

Reliable schedule, gets the course done quickly.
Scheduling is difficult and challenging but we like Chuck! Make sure your instructor is Chuck and not Matthew F. Chuck is very thorough at teaching and has also taught my oldest daughter, 10 years ago. My 16 year old is impressed but was disappointed while observing Matthew today. He ended 30 minutes earlier so she had to call her sister to be picked up (I’m relieved she was able to) because the driver was afraid to go on the freeway on her first day. She said it was like driving with a buddy and he wasn’t educational nor persistent. She felt sad for that girl. We think that if they can’t do a task then have them do another one like work on parking or turns instead to get their time and money’s worth. Chuck teaches the whole time and has them repeat the assignment until they are comfortable. My girls talk highly of him and he finishes on time so you don’t feel like you’ve lost your money. It’s a great school concept but the scheduling is lousy. Not sure what other instructors they have but Chuck is our favorite!
Getting drive time is impossible. They have way overbooked their capacity. Will not use A1 again.
Scheduling drive time is nearly impossible it fills up within two minutes of opening and the only times offered are durring your young drivers school hours.
Scheduling drive time with this school is impossible, especially if you have anything else going on in your life other than learning to drive. This school greedily overbooks their courses so that, when it comes time to schedule drive time, slots are filled almost immediately. They do not hire enough staff to accommodate their enrollment and leave the customer to fight in the hunger games to try and secure slots they’ve already paid for. Also, in my experience, they never answer the phone, so leaving a message and waiting for a call back is how they run their business. Customers and their experience is not this company’s priority. Buyer beware!

It is a nightmare to try to schedule anything with them. Rescheduling is pretty much impossible. Instructors expect you to know everything before hand. It creates such a stressful environment throughout the lesson. Big waste of money and time for beginners or anyone who doesn’t have other resources to practice. Even if you’re willing to pay the money you can’t get enough hours behind the wheel with them because they will only schedule one class at a time and for some reason it’s only available once a week. I absolutely do not recommend A1 to anyone.
Shawn is an amazing instructor! He connects and gives constructive feedback. My son learned a ton and was happy with the process. I would highly recommend Shawn!
We absolutly loved A1 they are so kind and caring. My daughter was so nervous and they were so understanding and helpfull. They have given her many great and helpfull tips and tricks!
They had great instructors and taught exactly what you needed to know to pass the test! Rodney was very helpful!
The teachers are hit or miss. There are some good ones. The schedule do fill up quickly so it is not easy to find instructors. The worse thing is their online course work. The lessons are broken down into too many small segments so it takes unnecessary long to go through them and too many clicks by hand. The lessons keep repeating the same content. I’d rather see shorter content and replay the same lesson than meandering through endless number of lessons, some useful and some are not. Some are literally two sentences. Worse, between segments, an obnoxious tone is played repeatedly. It is constantly ringing in my head. It is terrible. I try to give positive vibe I review but this tune that is played repeatedly is really too much. It is not professional and the lesson needs to be edited down to reduce duplication and blank air times with no content, and to reduce the need for me to click on my computer

I don’t understand these reviews they all sound selfish to me. I took my road test here and I passed first try, and she is noting like any of these reviews. She kept it simple and fast and she was sweet and I liked how forward she was. No in between talking just giving instructions, just doing her jobs she was such a sweet lady. Looking at the reviews made me anxious, and even thought if I should go to her. But I told myself that I should not just look at the rewiews and judge. Should check it out myself. So glad I did cause it was worth my time and fast. I would recommend this place.
Very unprofessional. Probably in it for the money. Could not really explain why she failed me. Gave a receipt with no company name and had me use her car which was not in the best shape, also she did not wear a seatbelt! Do not waste your money. I wonder if the business is even legit?
Please, don't ever go to this place, you can't understand what this woman is saying, is expensive, (45 $) and on top of that, she told me I failed because I didn't do head checks to right or left. I mean wtfff? She wasn't even looking at me, I check every time I turned or changed lanes. Don't waste your money or your time.
I Wish I would have read the reviews before coming here. Lesson learned. Don't go here! This lady makes up arbitrary rules that are not in the state rule book and will lie about you not making head checks so you come back to test again. Her car wouldn't pass a safety inspection. The mirrors dont adjust and the brakes are shot making the road testing difficult. I am surprised she doesn't feel shame letting people test in such a horrible car. I get the feeling that she had her mind made up before I stepped in the car. Don't leave it to her judgment. Go somewhere else.
Beyond rude. Negative 5 stars. Hateful woman. The lady that works here is a liar and a thief. She will make up reasons to fail you. I think she needs the money. Don't come here.
