This driving school is top tier and very affordable. My son took the Permit Class online with them and I took a driver improvement call. I am happy to report that my son now has his license and my ticket has been dismissed all because they had exactly what we needed when we needed it. It is evident that they care and are passionate about the service they provide because when I left the driver improvement class I felt very informed of the changing driving laws and equipped to maintain my driving record going forward. Great experience for my daughter and convenient for me. He picked her up and dropped her off at home. She enjoyed driving with Mr. Mackey and he was flexible and accommodating with her schedule. He always communicated clearly what time he was going to be coming and even gave her more driving time. Couldn’t have asked for a better behind the wheel experience and when the time comes for my next child to take it we will be calling Mr. Mackey.

My daughter was eager to get her drivers license, but most of the schools in the area were quoting us a month or two wait for behind the wheel. Academic driving school was able to get us in the very next week and at a time that worked with our schedule! My daughter is very shy and has a lot of anxiety so she was very nervous about riding with strangers and just being around strangers in general. However, Derrick made her feel very comfortable and at ease. The entire process was very easy, and I would definitely recommend this school for behind the wheel.

Ms. Kelly was amazing with my kiddo. She helped make her comfortable behind the wheel.
My experience with miles school driving was amazing and very helpful. I was taught by Mrs.Kelly. She helped me understand all the values and laws of the road. She was never mean or rude during the whole experience of driving with her. She is very sweet and I would definitely recommend her and this driving school to anyone who is determined the get their license.
Instructor was very attentive to the issues i faced while learning and was very straightforward with my mistakes and the simple ways to fix them.
My instructor was Mr Charles, and I would like to say I was fortunate have him as my instructor. He was professional, understanding, and very patient with me. I really appreciate his patience with me because it took me a while to put my driving skills into use. Kudos to him for helping through and not giving up on me. He helped me understand the common mistakes, rules etiquettes, and was very reasonable. I would definitely 100% recommend Miles school of driving. They believe in their students and would not only help you get your license but also build up on your driving skills and make sure you ready for the road. Charles was fantastic. My daughter was nervous about driving with someone she was was not familiar with, especially someone who was going to test her on her driving abilities. This was such a great program for my student. Miss Chantelle was great, and I feel like he came home a better driver than what he was originally super thankful for the patience the guidance and the staff for this program I would highly recommend this again and again.
My interactions with Chandra were the most extensive, and I was impressed by her exceptional teaching skills. I would wholeheartedly recommend this driving school to anyone seeking instruction. She accommodated my schedule, displayed a warm and friendly demeanor, and maintained a humble approach. Notably, she never made me feel uncomfortable about being 40 years old in a classroom with students significantly younger than me. The students entering the classroom showed respect for her, indicating a strong teacher-student bond. It was clear that she derives genuine satisfaction from her job and is deeply committed to providing the best learning experience for all her students. Chris was also an outstanding instructor. When I needed to refresh my skills on backing into a parking space between two cars, he provided clear guidance. His soft-spoken nature made him easy to ride with, and he proved to be an excellent teacher. He helped me master parallel parking, a task I had never been able to accomplish until he showed me the correct technique, all without inducing any frustration.

RVA Driving Academy is a great school for those who have to learn to drive. Ms Jones was awesome in the classroom and Ms Perez was great behind the wheel. I highly recommend this school to become a licensed driver. If you have a high school student you can arrange the behind the wheel to be before school.
My experience at RVA driving academy was one of a kind. My instructor Julie Ballowe is the sweetest lady and she is very experienced in this field of work. She's very laid back and chill which made my driving experience a lot of fun. Mrs. Eakes was very patient and understanding. She is very chill and clear with her instructions. If you are fearful for the week, don’t be, she is a great instructor.

Actually, it was a lot more information than I expected! It made me feel compelled to do more to make sure I do my part to make sure I don't be the reason accidents are caused on our highways and other streets. It made me more aware of the things that will prevent accidents and road rage on our streets and highways! It's very simple, take responsibility for your own actions and you will see others mistakes!!!

Took their adult behind the wheel lessons, got what I paid for and more. The instructor, Mr. Chris, was very calm and reassuring during the entirety of all my lessons. His patience and kindness further allowed for my confidence to grow in my skill set, and gave me a sense of comfort with each lesson. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for behind the wheel lessons, especially since they are able to administer the DMV driving test which elevates their reliability in ensuring that you are being taught the skills that the DMV would seek for you to know. As well as how prompt they were to schedule my lessons, thank you to all the staff for giving me a driving experience that greatly changed my attitude about driving as opposed to the other driving schools I had attended prior.
Chris & Patrica were wonderful to work with when providing our teenage son driving lessons and testing for his license. Patrica's administrative process was streamlined and efficient from beginning to end. Chris was very patient and pleasant when teaching our son to drive. He ensured my husband and I felt secure and at ease when placing our son in his care everyday. Absolutely great experience; highly recommend for teenagers.

I took Behind the Wheel lessons with Mr. Stoner and I had an incredible experience. Throughout the week I was able to learn many techniques from him that really helped me be confident in being able to pass the driving test. Mr. Mohamed helped my daughter with her steering skills and how to maneuver between lanes (especially on the highways) while keeping the car at a steady speed and position. Mr. Mohamed is very kind and patient. My daughter enjoyed her lessons with him!
I had a great experience learning to drive with Mohammad Elhadi and recently passed my driving test. Mohammadi is a very patient and calm instructor which helps tremendously if you are a nervous driver. He has a great ability to break down complex maneuvers—like parallel parking, three-point turns, merging onto highways, and navigating roundabouts—into clear small steps. Mohammad provided helpful tips for lane positioning, checking blind spots, and making smooth left and right turns, especially on tighter residential streets. His focus isn’t just on helping you pass the test—he’s genuinely committed to teaching safe, responsible driving for the long term. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, patient, and professional driving instructor.
Mohamed is very professional and flexible. He has taught my two oldest kids so far and I have referred friends to him as well. We are especially grateful when he is willing to start a driving lesson from one location and end in another. Driving lesson and carpool help all in one! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. As a new adult driver, I felt very encouraged during my lessons with Mr. Mohamed Elhadi, which was incredibly important to me. His easygoing demeanor allowed me to relax and focus on what he was teaching me, without worrying about him being judgmental. In total, I took 10 lessons before taking the road test, which I passed on the first try. As a beginner, we went through many essential skills, such as handling the steering wheel, braking and accelerating smoothly, making proper left and right turns (including at intersections), switching lanes with minimal steering, and understanding the rules on following distance. I especially appreciated Mohamed teaching me how to drive in "real world" scenarios while still adhering to all the rules of the road. Overall, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better driving instructor than Mohamed. I highly recommend him—especially for drivers with little to no experience.

Being here was a unique experience, to learn, to drive, and to improve my skills and training as a driver was absolutely a treasure. Driving with my teachers both Christian and Brenda has helped me out with my learning experience, if you mess up they are calm and collective to help you out and point out your mistakes in a very friendly manner. The people I was with here both students and staff were both friendly and encouraging, it made me almost feel at home and it was a journey I will never forget for the while week I was there. I encourage all who are looking for a driving school to come and seek improvement here.
The instructors were really friendly and they were able to make things work in my schedule which is always helpful. I was able to obtain my license and get used to the road relatively quick in an environment where I felt no pressure. If I’m being honest, I was terrible at driving during my first class but by my road test I became 100% confident in my driving abilities and I would definitely recommend this drivers school to anyone who needs it.
Diversity EZ Driving School is wonderful! My daughter had been working on the driving portion of her license prep for a number of years but wanted to drive with a professional before taking the road test. She looked at many schools around Hampton Roads but found them non responsive and/or under staffed, so she was unable to even get on waitlists. Then we found Diversity EZ…and I am so glad we did! They answered the phone immediately and have multiple people working in the office, so there is always someone to help, with very little wait. We went in and signed up on the spot and they booked out all of her driving times. My daughter has anxiety about driving but the instructor, Ms Brenda, was so calm and positive that my daughter was able to get out there, practice and build confidence. The other wonderful thing about Diversity EZ is that they can administer the road test at the end. Everyone was so nice…and I don’t mean just polite and friendly but genuinely nice, thoughtful and encouraging. It was a warm, welcoming, pleasant atmosphere to be in.
The instructor successfully cultivated a positive environment and rapport for students like me. With his calm instructions (firm before you make a dangerous mistake or to prevent one), my driving anxiety was relieved and my confidence improved with every lesson. He made sure students were comfortable in their beginning lessons in the parking lot and neighborhood if they were first time drivers. He works well with students of all skill levels. This hands-on learning experience is helpful for improvement and safe driving, especially when supplemented with online driver's ed and YouTube videos for lane changes, steering and all types of parking, and observing the various roads and experiences of other drivers. Diversity EZ Driving School should be your first choice and a more popular choice. I can't emphasize enough how satisfied I am with this positive experience and how much I learned, including safely merging on the interstate. Obtaining a driver's license felt out of reach for me 5 months ago, but I was able to learn more than I expected at this driving school and with outside practice. It is accommodating for people with busy schedules and not something you have to finish within two weeks, which gives time for outside practice and learning. The staff are nice as well and provide great customer service. Thank you for the positive experience.

If you’re an inexperienced adult driver, I definitely recommend Titus’ driving school! I had always been really anxious about driving and had very little experience going in, but Titus made it feel much more comfortable and manageable. I passed the road test thanks to him, and I feel prepared to take on driving going forward with the skills he taught me. Scheduling was flexible too, so I was able to plan lessons when they worked for me. I’d definitely recommend him to anyone who wants to learn to drive!

Mohammed was a great resource and really guided us through the behind the wheel and drivers ed courses. He was very patient with my many questions and he follows up within the day. Gabriel was a great behind the wheel instructor to my son which gave him more confidence in driving. I highly recommend this driving school, especially for parents who are too nervous driving with their newly permitted kids. Worth every penny.
Thanks to Mohamed for answering all of my many questions quickly and offering flexibility throughout the process. I had no clue on how this should work outside of the school system. My son did the online and behind the wheel class. The driving instructor was a rockstar! He made him feel comfortable and confident from the minute he got in the car. This is honestly an AMAZING CLASS. I started out very nervous and doubtful about the road, but this class helped me overcome this fear. Right before the pandemic my son made an appointment with DMV to obtain his driver's license. When the state of VA shut down so did his appointment when things slowly started to reopen after much persistence he finally was able to make an appointment. Unfortunately, the earliest appointment was Aug. 2022. I remembered a conversation I had with one of my colleagues whose daughter was taking the behind the wheel training from Old Town Driving School and how convenient and professional the schedule and staff were. Shortly after we decided to do the same, we are so glad we decided to contact Old Town Driving School. My son's instructor Tia Moore, is excellent! Ms. Moore communicated to both of us the things that he needed to work on but also gave my son the confidence he needed that as a mom I wasn't able to. I had a couple of issues with the instructor that i had from the school. there would be a couple of times (4 to be exact) where we would schedule a time and date to meet to do my behind the wheel portion and he wouldnt show up. no call or text. i would have to call them to schedule a different appointment. if it wasnt for that i couldve had my license a bit quicker. other than that the school was pretty good.
Great classes for reference and reminder to slow down! I appreciate Jose and Mr. Nasim for their support as I took my defensive driving class. Will recommend anyone to attend.

Coach Rah was my driving instructor and she was very patient with me. I came with a lot of anxiety and she was always calm and clear in her instruction. My driving has improved tremendously; my mom even lets me drive her car now without her when my car isn’t working.
Coming to this specific driving school was the best decision that I could ever make. I highly recommend coming here if you want to deal with patient, caring, and helpful individuals to guide you to become the best driver you can be. I didn’t have too much driving experience but after I was done, I became way more confident in my driving and I was able to drive much smoother. I absolutely love driving now. Miss Cindy, I can't tell you how much I genuinely appreciate you for working with my two children in getting driving exposure. My work schedule is extremely difficult lately, and I don't want to hold my children back from getting their driving time and driving experience. They learn a lot from you, and they are comfortable with you, and it's a relief and an enormous peace of mind to be able to trust them with you. I can't thank you enough.

Our daughter was very apprehensive about learning to drive in high school. As an adult she was much more equipped to handle learning to drive. Miss Cindy was very knowledgeable about the over 18 driver's education policies. They began immediately and Miss Cindy gave feed back for improvement after every lesson. Miss Cindy also provided real life situations by driving in different weather conditions and driving to and from my daughter's work. I highly recommend Miss Cindy's driving school.

Gabriel was my instructor and was so informative, patient and kind. He clearly really cares about teaching his students good habits, and also helped to build my confidence. He has a lot of great tips and helps reframe complex maneuvers into digestible techniques. I highly recommend this driving school.
I just completed my driving lessons with Ligia. I felt so glad to have a mentor like her. She is so comforting, patient and good with teaching the techniques and skill. I had to wait a week more to have the lessons scheduled due to a long waiting time but it was all worth it. I would highly recommend taking the lessons with Pola driving school especially if you are beginner and looking for trainer who is good at techniques and skills and patient at the same time. It was a great experience.

As someone who did not have much experience on the road I was pretty nervous about going to driving school. I wanted to find a place that would push and encourage me to be the best driver I could be and Pola Driving School did not disappoint. Their secretary was nice, polite, and helpful. They do their best to work around your schedule and find the time that best works for you. They are great at communicating with their customers while trying their best to make the customer happy. My instructor, Ligia did an amazing Job at teaching the information on the book. She always made sure we understood everything we needed to know and gave great examples. My behind the wheel instructor, Gabriel could not have done a better job. He was very professional, supportive, Friendly, and overall a very cool dude. He allowed me to open up and feel positive about my driving. He is a pro at what he does and will make sure that you are comfortable and understand how everything works. There was never a dull moment with him. He even influenced me to change my perspective on things in my personal life which I am forever grateful for. Hancock Driving School was an amazing experience. Ms. Hancock was super friendly, patient, and taught me a lot. She took a chance on my as an mature adult driver and taught me to trust myself and lose the anxiety, which resulted in finally receiving my license after many years of trying. I am eternally grateful and 1000% recommend using Hancock Driving School.
Katrina Hancock is an excellent teacher! She was very patient, friendly and made me feel comfortable while behind the wheel. She's very knowledgeable. So sad the class is over but I'm glad to have met her and was taught by her. I recommend their business if you need a driving lesson!

This driving school is where you want to go!!! Everyone was extremely helpful, professional, friendly, and they went beyond my expectations of a driving school. They have great rates and flexible hours along with amazing driving instruction. We were beyond happy with this driving school and look forward to using them again next year when my other son needs a driving school!

This was not my first time attending such a class. I was not looking forward to 8 hours in a room full of people who were probably not that excited to be there either. Miss Helen kept EVERYONE engaged and kept a potentially dry topic pretty entertaining. She is a gifted instructor and if you have to go through this experience; go to Blessed.
This is the GREATEST driving school I've ever attended! Our teacher was hilarious, so full of light and a colorful personality! There's more interaction,story telling, and what if scenarios than anything, which catches your attention and helps you learn a whole lot easier then traditional driving school. I HIGHLY recommend this school as well for the younger age group , there is no such thing as "boredom" in this class! Who cares if it's 8 hours, the teacher I had was phenomenal, had a great personality, and really made this memorable! Fully enjoyed this class! I'm currently 19 and Id take the class again ! :)
This class was fun, informative and made my punishment a positive and unforgettable experience. Ms. Helen engaged each student and had us role playing situations to demonstrate her teachings. We actually had a good time all day, discussing personal experiences and relating it to the chapter we were covering. The class was much more affordable than many of the others in town. My son recommended this class to me and I'm so thankful I chose Blessed Driving!!!
I volunteered to participate in my first driving improvement class today at Blessed Driving School. Just the thought of an 8 hour class sounds extremely boring. Mrs. Helen changed my perspective completely. She was a very sweet, creative, and hands on instructor. She allowed the class to participate in each lesson which kept everyone focused the entire 8 hours. Let me start by saying Ms Helen is the best instructor ever! She kept the class engaged for 8 hours and that’s not easy with a classroom of 40 “I don’t want to be here on this beautiful Saturday ruining my day” different personalities but she did it effortlessly, wonderful disposition. The location was easy to find and when we broke for lunch there were lots of places nearby to choose from. Ms Helen let you know when she was giving you a test question so that at the end we’d be prepared and even the test was fun! 🥰 Absolutely loved it highly recommend using Blessed Driving School if you need to get positive points on your license or for court charges to be dismissed or for DMV reinstatement, Ms Helen will make sure you leave knowing more than you did when you came in plus you get a certificate of completion! Now that’s what I’m talking ‘bout 💯

I had the pleasure of having Jean as my instructor. She was very pleasant, understanding, and willing to guide you through the process and steps of making a better outcome on your situation at hand. I would definitely recommend this improvement course to anyone!!
Not exactly sure if there was a curriculum or anything we actually needed to learn. She pretty much just shared personal stories and said a couple things about awareness on the road. I guess it was good because I still checked the DMV’s box.

My son was nervous about driving, but Ms. McCloud immediately set him at ease. He looked forward to going driving with her because he knew that she would be patient and take things at a pace he was comfortable with. He was so excited when he earned his license! Ms. McCloud is a fantastic teacher!

My daughter enjoyed being instructed by Andria , she was very thorough in explaining everything and was great in using visuals for visual learners. Her professional and friendly attitude makes it a whole lot easier for first time drivers.She is very knowledgeable with the DMV requirements and processing paper work especially for hugh school students. I highly recommend Glenn to anyone looking for someone to help their child gain confidence behind the wheel. Glenn was recommended to us as an expert in teaching kids with high anxiety to become responsible and confident drivers, and he delivered on all fronts. Glenn was patient but firm and taught my son in a way that I couldn't have as the parent. We are grateful for him and his company, and especially for the time he spent talking to both of us at the end of the sessions, telling us true driving stories and giving advice. Five stars.

Ms. Helen was great! The class was fun filled and very interesting. Ms. Helen is a fantastic teacher. She does not make you feel ashamed and everyone in the class participated. Ms. Helen gets the concepts across using props, parables, and student volunteers. Many friends of mine recommended All Wise Driving School to me and I'm so glad that I listened to them! I took an adult course which enabled me to have one-on-one driving time with Amir and I couldn't have asked for a better driving instructor. He was patient, kind, and funny, and made sure not to overwhelm me with too much information at once. I enjoyed his teaching techniques and can't thank him enough for such a comfortable learning experience. I'll definitely be recommending All Wise to friends and family!
I really loved my time during the All Wise Driving School. They are very professional and made me feel confident in my driving. The instructors make me feel very calm and relax while showing me the rules of the road. They are very experienced and handle everything with class and business. I recommend anyone who lives in the Richmond, Henrico, Glen Allen areas to go to All Wise for driving school. They offer a bunch of services as well. The people here are just so kind and understanding. They teach you so much stuff that you didn’t even know you needed. All in all I’ve been given the chance to meet some of the most amazing people and learn good driving and life lessons from them. I got Tony as one of my instructors and i’m so glad that I did because not only is he a great instructor but he is also an amazing person. He was funny and very kind and honestly meeting him changed me as a person in a good way. He has some of the best advice I have ever heard and he doesn’t seem to know how to make someone not happy. I had an excellent experience with All Wise and I’d highly recommend going there, especially if you’re a teenage driver. The driving instructors, Tony and Scott, were both extremely welcoming and gave me very helpful tips on some of the problems I was struggling in. The school does well in making sure you are relaxed but still mindful whilst driving, which is very good for teenage drivers because they tend to be stressed behind the wheel. The owner, Amir, and the office manager, Farzana, are organized and truly care about the safety of their students. I’m very happy that I got the chance to be granted my license from here!
I took my Drivers Education class at Allwise Driving Academy, and I had an excellent experience! During my review session, we covered all 17 chapters of the content in-depth, and I felt prepared for the final examination. Once I had submitted my test, Ms. Fozi, who had gone over all the content so well, graded my test extremely quickly and notified me of my passing score!

This place is really thorough and helps is detailed so when its time to test you are ready. This is where all of my kids will come to get a quality driving education!!!
So far I’m giving them one star because of their secretary. Tanisha, Kanisha not sure of the spelling. She was very snappy & didactic, had the worst attitude when I was simply asking for information. I asked for her supervisor and she proceeded to tell me “Anything you need from him you have to get thru me first” ….. she needs to get her money back from whatever school she got her customer service skills from because she’s plain rude. Only positive is that she knows her stuff *shrugs*
I took behind the wheel with Mr Dudley, when I was a teen. He was really thorough and made sure you were prepared. He focused on safety. Highly recommend
My nephew, attends Dudley's driving school and He and I find this program very unprofessional. Lack of communication between instructors and students, inadequate information required for testing, and lack priorities for their students are just some of the reasons as to why it is unprofessional. The organizer, Thomas Dudley Jr., seems to be very understanding in the beginning and then begins to omit important information about test dates. Also, he tends to cut off all points of contact when a student tries to obtain answers about scheduling test dates and repair time for the practice tractor. Contact with the owners of this driving school seems to only be reached when the topic of discussion includes additional finances, missed practice hours due to weather or equipment issues were not made up without an additional fee required. Most of the information pertaining to the tractor/trailer and on the road skills are learned by previous students that have not met the criteria to pass the test effectively. The material given to students to study for tests is outdated and does not meet new requirements that test prompters are looking for. Dudley’s Driving School seems to not be interest in updating studies material needed to successfully pass the Department of Motor Vehicles(DMV) Road tests or at least updating material. Student will have to repeat classes at their own expensive, this company is a fraud and this is from an experience student, who took an loan out to join this program, who also stand to loose it all, because these people( or those in charge) will not set up what He needs with practice testing or DMV visits, take my advice try somewhere where there's an interest in students and not their funds, leaving them in a boat without paddles. It's Time These Bully Stop stepping on kids trying to succeed and make something out of their lives. This review is trying to prevent these Bullies from taking advantage of other victims.
Very nice people. I really recommend this place if you want your child/children to learn how to drive properly. They explain everything good and take their time with you. All in all they are amazing!!
