I couldn't imagine using any program other than Freedom2Drive. I probably learned more about driving through 6 sessions than I did through months of taking Driver's Ed. The sessions never got boring, but they always remained educational. My instructor, Mr. Mackey, was especially welcoming, funny, and helpful. I never thought I'd actually look forward to taking a driving class, but I was wrong. I'm so much more comfortable with driving thanks to F2D!!

My daughter was so anxious she would just cry. After many attempts at helping her drive I found Freedom 2 drive on google. With loads of good reviews I had to try something. 4 days with him and not one tear. She was actually smiling. She even drove home in heavy traffic the last day. Still nervous but not paralyzed with fear. I highly recommend to parents who are unsure what to do.
Patrick, owner of Freedom to drive, has now taught 2 of our daughters and they have successfully passed their driving test. The driving schedule worked great around there school hours. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing these services.

Great experience with All Seasons RVA Driving School! Office staff and driving instructor were knowledgeable and kind. Will be sending my next teenage driver there!
Back in February and March this year I started taking lessons as a last resort as a 23 year-old who could not overcome my driving anxiety on my own. I had very low expectations which, after my first lesson, were completely blown out of the water. Ms. Shantell is one of the most helpful people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting and is why I’m comfortable and confident in driving today. It is crazy to think that just a few months ago I thought I would never be able to drive, or at least by myself. I now have my own car, commute to my work, and have even started going on the highway independently. If you have anyone in your life who is wanting to drive, I cannot recommend this school enough. If you are an older driver who has anxiety or just never learned how, I seriously cannot recommend this school enough. If you can, take lessons with Ms. Shantell, I have her to thank for finally getting out on the road!
I am 25 years old and was giving up hope of getting my license because I had severe driving anxiety that kept me from practicing driving on my own. I figured I could benefit from doing a behind the wheel course so that I didn’t have to worry about the pressure of going to the DMV and having to sit through my road test with a stranger. Chris was an amazing teacher. He is patient and knowledgeable and incredibly supportive. I can’t thank him enough for getting me on the road, finally. I couldn’t have done it without All Seasons!

My experience at RVA driving academy was one of a kind. My instructor Julie Ballowe is the sweetest lady and she is very experienced in this field of work. She's very laid back and chill which made my driving experience a lot of fun. From singing along to the radio or getting to connect on a personal level, you will love your time at RVA Driving Academy. It was a very fun and stress free experience, I felt as if I had a great instructor and made a good connection with him immediately. My driving instructor Mrs Eakes was amazing she was always patient and gave great instruction on the road. She helped me learn stuff I didn't know about overall leaving me with great memories on the road. I would never have asked for a different driving instructor.

My driving instructor, Mrs. Eakes, was the most patient and calm person I had ever driven with. While driving with my parents is tense and stressful, driving with Mrs. Eakes is relaxed and chill. It’s a great class, teaches more than just driving skills but emotional skills to handle situations on the road.
I am 17 and am working on getting my license. I had private lessons with Mr. O and I absolutely loved it! He was very patient with me and made sure I understood what was going on. He also made sure I was comfortable throughout the teaching. I will be requesting him for when I sign up for Behind the Wheel.
I took behind the wheel lessons at Colonial Driving School to prepare for my license test, and I’m really glad I did. My instructors were patient, professional, and explained everything clearly, which helped me feel more confident each time we drove. They focused on the skills I needed to pass the test and be a safe driver. I definitely recommend them to anyone getting ready for their license and road test! They also offer a lot of other services as well.

Better rate than most places. They worked with us for schedule. Staff was all kind and easy to get a hold of.
My son loves this school ! He just turned 16 and worked with Coach Kris for 5 days and on the 6th day took his driving test and not only scored the DMV minimum to get his license, he scored over 110 points over which was a perfect score ! My son doesn’t talk a lot and has always been focused , and about his business. Coach was a perfect match for my son ! He is very kind and has a very calm demeanor ! Also, safety comes first ALWAYS with Coach ! I knew I could trust him with my child ! My son will be getting his license in the mail soon and Coach will be a part of my son’s journey….one that he will always remember. My son loved pulling up to his school in the am behind the wheel in the drivers seat with Coach ! This is a teenagers dream ! This school is very professional, accommodating, understanding, and respectful! I will always recommend this school, and if you are in search of a drivers school look no further, I promise you this is the BEST ! Khalid was my driving instructor. He has been very nice throughout the whole process. He also made the car rides enjoyable as he was nice to talk to and his dad jokes made me laugh. He helped me a lot with my confidence on the rode and always had my best interest in mind. I highly recommend Khalid! Gonna miss it.. kinda.
Khalid is a very thorough teacher and effective communicator. He has lots of experience and knowledge of drivers and their tendencies. He is quick to correct while being encouraging. He helped me with my parking, taught me the new method of turning, and taught my valuable road skills.
I enjoyed the course. I feel I improved my driving skills throughout the 7 classes. Khalid was a great instructor, very helpful and patient. I feel more confident in my abilities to drive as well as park now that I have completed all 7.

I learned a lot from Khalid, my driving instructor. I spread my time out at the beginning of my time and then took several days of back to back lessons that helped me to be successful when getting my license as a 16 year old. Khalid was very patient with me and the other drivers in the car who all had an array of different skill levels. I highly recommend this course with Khalid, and have recommended this course already to at least 3+ people.

I would recommend P.E.R.S.E.P.T.I.O.N.S to everybody! Mr.K has taught me so much within 6 hours! I am way more confident behind the wheel than I was when I first started. He also taught me many practical car skills and made the whole experience great! Definatly recommend this school for anybody who is nervous about driving! Mr. K made it very casual and comfortable. 10/10 experience! Update: I got my driver's license in this July! I am very thankful for P.E.R.S.E.P.T.I.O.N.S.
This Driving School is the best of the best, Mr. Stoner is a perfect driving instructor, he is always so patient and understanding to the students and teaches them everything they need to know about driving while bringing a fun, optimistic and energetic approach to every student he teaches. This was an amazing experience! I learned a lot in 3 days, and the instructor was very respectful and kind. It was clear what I needed to work on at the moment, and established good habits while driving.
My instructor was very kind and helpful and taught me good lessons. He joked with us and engaged with us. He had a tendency to grip the wheel when he wanted me to correct something while I was driving which made me nervous, but other than that I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Highly recommend!!

I had a great experience with Diversity EZ Driving School! The instructor Mr. Stephen is patient, professional, and very supportive. Titus was a great instructor, I highly recommend him. He stayed calm and never got frustrated with any faults the students have done while driving. He was also very flexible with my schedule and availability.

Titus is a great driving instructor that helped me progress a lot from when I first started. He fixed many of my bad driving habits that I didn’t even realize were bad habits at first. After calling and reaching out to various driving schools in Northern Virginia who kept telling me they had a wait list, I finally found Titus' driving school. I needed to get my behind the wheel completed as soon as possible, so i called around 10 different companies before i found abigail’s driving school and they were able to squeeze me in! Throughout the entire process of scheduling, Mohamed was extremely helpful and willing to work with me on my conflicts. He was quick to respond, and was very informative!! My driving instructor, Ms. Jackson, was SUCH an amazing instructor! Not only did she teach me basic driving skills, she taught me important skills like pumping gas and parallel parking! She was extremely kind throughout the whole process, always quick to respond, worked around my conflicts, and she always helped ease my worries around the wheel! Ms. Jackson also helps the student reach their goals, rather than just watching them do it on their own. I wouldn’t have been able to get my license without her and Mohamed! Today my son had to take the permit re exam class at Abigail's Driving School. The location was a easy to find, great atmosphere and amazing teacher. The instructor who I believe name was Muhammad had patience with my son and the other students. The instructor even recommended that they take the permit test right after class is done, so that's what we did and guess what my son passed the permit test, Just a side note while waiting at the DMV my son said "I really like that teacher he explain things very well now I have understanding of the questions".
This is honestly an AMAZING CLASS. I started out very nervous and doubtful about the road, but this class helped me overcome this fear. The instructors are wonderful and really work around your schedule not to mention how patient and kind they are towards you. Believe me this is the best driving school in Virginia!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our 16 year old just finished his session with Old Town Driving School and we could not be more pleased. Good communication before and very reliable picking our son up from school or home. Right before the pandemic my son made an appointment with DMV to obtain his driver's license. When the state of VA shut down so did his appointment when things slowly started to reopen after much persistence he finally was able to make an appointment. Unfortunately, the earliest appointment was Aug. 2022. I remembered a conversation I had with one of my colleagues whose daughter was taking the behind the wheel training from Old Town Driving School and how convenient and professional the schedule and staff were. Shortly after we decided to do the same, we are so glad we decided to contact Old Town Driving School. My son's instructor Tia Moore, is excellent! Ms. Moore communicated to both of us the things that he needed to work on but also gave my son the confidence he needed that as a mom I wasn't able to. I had a very positive experience with AA Plus Driving School for my son's driving education. The school was incredibly flexible with scheduling, which was really helpful since my son took longer than expected to complete the online course. They were understanding of his pace and even allowed him to switch to in-class driving lessons, which made a huge difference. The instructors were professional, patient, and made sure he felt comfortable throughout the process. The overall experience was pleasant, and I feel confident in the skills he learned. I took the adult driving class and it was the most well spent money. The online modules are well paced and easy to understand and Todd is an excellent teacher.
Rashida was a fantastic teacher! She was on time, friendly, and gave good instruction. My needs were assessed, met, and I saved a lot of time at the DMV. I recommend Rashida as a driving instructor and this program overall.

It's my first review, though no one ask me to do it, I still feel I'm obliged to write it since the experience is so great. I remember when I wanted to pick a driving school, I read all reviews concerned available on Yelp, Google, Tweeter and some local forums, I sometimes saw those start with "it's my first review but blah blah blah", at that time I thought they were fake, why so many people say it's their first review, but now it's my turn and I finally understand it's mainly because the whole experience is great and great service should get good review to encourage them to do even better, just like the tips system, encourage those great to achieve greater. I choose Pola Driving School for several reasons. I read reviews online, it seems and turns out it really is the case that instructor there are polite and fun, won't yell at you and always try to help you understand what you did wrong and how you could do better next time, which is quite important to me since I'm a new new learner, have no experience in driving before and kind of nervous when I get on to the road. And my instructor, Gabriel, is quite methodical, knows how to arrange the order of learning all the skills based on your performance, so the whole learning experience is gradual and really ease my nervous. And after class he usually discuss my problems with me, and provides advice about how to improve and what I need to pay attention to based on my case. By learning in Pola Driving School, I feel really confident to drive on the road even on my own, and so do my parents. After my third class, I started to recommend this school to my friends. I just passed the driving test today and it's the end of my journey with Pola Driving School and Gabriel, I want to write this review to recommend the school and the instructor, thank them for the course and their service and wish them good luck. Besides, they covers the Arlington area, which is convenient and their price is quite reasonable though I mainly choose them because I thought they are great based on how they responded to my questions on phone when I contacted a lot of driving schools.

I recently completed the Adult Waiver Program and successfully obtained my driver’s license, thanks to Gabriel’s excellent instruction. I just received my license from Mrs. Hancock. Throughout my time driving, she was nothing but friendly and professional. She taught you how to drive by correcting you, not patronizing you. Overall a great experience.
On the phone for 30 minutes with Mrs Hancock regarding driving lessons for my grandson. Since they are booked out to October she asked my concerns and gave me several great driving instruction tips to implement saving me a ton of money! So appreciate her help! The class was well structured. Superb flow of information and class participation. Ms. Helen kept the attention of the class with great relevant stories and examples along with a pleasant level of interaction with the class. Though all have the like courses I have taken, Ms. Helen's period of instruction surpasses expectations. I'd recommend this school to anyone looking or needing to enroll in a driver's improvement class.
I volunteered to participate in my first driving improvement class today at Blessed Driving School. Just the thought of an 8 hour class sounds extremely boring. Mrs. Helen changed my perspective completely. She was a very sweet, creative, and hands on instructor. I took Mr. Smith's course today and was pleasantly surprised. He really tried to keep the class engaged. He was energetic, compelling, but also very realistic. In fact, he was so convincing I drove the speed limit the whole way home. The course was a great price, basically half of what others in Richmond cost. I hope to never need another driving school in the future, but if I do, this will be my go to.

It was between taking this class or an online one, and I’m SO GLAD that I chose this class! Not only did I get my certificate the same day, I actually had a good experience! The instructor was professional, courteous, and funny. Let’s be honest, NO ONE wants to take a drivers improvement class, but a good instructor makes all the difference. The hours flew by and I learned a ton. This is my second driver improvement class but I doubt I’ll need another. I learned so much! If you’re going through the stress of a traffic related incident and have to take a drivers improvement course, take this one! Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
I was so nervous about this class.. i needed my points back and they say this is the way to do it.. Jean & Johnny were easy to work with, the class was not nearly as bad as I imagined, and I walked out with my certificate. I got a few points back and would HIGHLY recommend this class if you need to take one. Thank you so very much for all your help and assistance with registering for the class.

My daughter enjoyed being instructed by Andria , she was very thorough in explaining everything and was great in using visuals for visual learners. Her professional and friendly attitude makes it a whole lot easier for first time drivers.She is very knowledgeable with the DMV requirements and processing paper work especially for hugh school students. We were very blessed to have her as an instructor for our daughter..

I highly, highly recommend Excelsior Driving School. As someone who already has their license but hadn’t drove a lot and needed to gain confidence with driving especially on the highway, Glenn assessed where I was at from the first lesson and set up a driving lesson plan with me to enhance my skills. He taught me things I never knew while driving and explained the WHY behind the teaching which set him apart from many instructors and helped me learn more effectively.

Ms. Helen was great! The class was fun filled and very interesting. Ms. Helen is a fantastic teacher. She does not make you feel ashamed and everyone in the class participated. Ms. Helen gets the concepts across using props, parables, and student volunteers. I would take the class again with Ms. Helen if the need arises and would highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn to improve their driving skills.

I really loved my time during the All Wise Driving School. They are very professional and made me feel confident in my driving. The instructors make me feel very calm and relax while showing me the rules of the road. They are very experienced and handle everything with class and business. I recommend anyone who lives in the Richmond, Henrico, Glen Allen areas to go to All Wise for driving school. They offer a bunch of services as well. I will be recommending more of my friends to All Wise! Thank you for all you have done for me! :)
Loved the local family aspect of the driving school and how the instructors connected with me on a more personal level then a lot of teachers do. The Instructors, Tony and Scott, were amazing and (along with Farzah/Amir) helped me get my license in about 2 weeks. Additionally, the drivers-ed class was insightful and along with the BTW sessions, well worth the price. It was a pleasure to receive my license from them and I'll definitely be referring friends to this driving academy :)
Great Driving School! I was able to get my license within a week during Spring Break doing both Driver's Ed and Behind the Wheel. The instructors Tony and Raymond are both awesome and have their own good teaching styles. Just a bit pricey, but that is expected.
My overall experience with All Wise driving institute has been great. Administration is great. Farzana is good at scheduling and she is on top of everything to make sure class runs smoothly. Instructor Tony is awesome. He makes you comfortable and help you build confidence. I had 1 class with Amir and it went well. You don’t get same instructor again, which could be good as you get suggestions from different instructor as well as bad as instructor doesn’t know you well if they keep on changing. I gave 4 star because of my experience with instructor Raymond. Though, he is good instructor, he doesn’t give enough time. I had 2 class with him and he was in rush and I had behind the wheel lesson with him for 35 minutes each time instead of 50 minutes class.
All Wise was a great fit for me. I felt extremely comfortable while driving with my instructors. Both Tony and David were so great. They both were very patient with me and showed me the correct way of completing a task. They were great with getting me in on the days I requested, I have no complaints.

Mr. Wayne is an awesome instructor who helped me feel way more comfortable driving and parking. He also helped my brother who is very uncomfortable driving feel more comfortable on the road.
Decent driver improvement course for just $75. Certificate says 8 hours but is typically less. Wayne makes the course easy and relaxing. If you are a decent driver you will have no trouble here. Just make sure to bring your driver's license or permit as well as at least $75 cash.
One of the driver instructors almost ran me off the road getting onto the interstate speeding in the rain !! Not once did he signal ! For him to be a drivers improvement instructor speeding in the rain in the company vehicle is very careless and irresponsible ! After getting onto the interstate still speeding around other vehicles and still not using his turning signals he almost caused a accident . He needs to be held responsible for his actions! How are you trying to set an example while doing everything you’re not supposed to be doing ! AND WAS TEXTING while driving smh
The instructor was very flexible and worked with my hectic schedule. He was a wonderful teacher and never got upset with driving errors as I learned.
Seven Cities Driving School is great. My instructor was very patient with me and made me very comfortable about being on the road.

A friend referred me to this school today. I received A1 service, I have no complaints and I'm very satisfied with this school and its staff. I plan to return back for CDL classes and training thanks to the owners son that was very knowledgeable and professional.
Will not recommend!!!! My daughter took the class and passed. Now that she's turned 18 the paper license has expired, hard copy hasn't arrived yet. Now I'm getting the run around for an updated paper license from Mr. Dudley. He's always out of the office , but the people he has working in the office aren't able to complete any tasks that are requested. This place has horrible communication and professionalism...they're main focus is recruiting you in joining their church , if they focus on the driving school they would have 5 star ratings from all clients.
This is the best driving school to go to the price is fair and it's worth every penny. You will definitely learn how to drive, and Mr Dudley and Mr. Hall are amazing people.
