Review for Jas Tarver I had the pleasure of taking my DUI driving school class with Jas Tarver, and she was absolutely amazing. She was professional, friendly, and incredibly funny — which made the class surprisingly enjoyable. Despite the serious topic, she kept everything informative and engaging. Jas is very knowledgeable and explains things in a way that actually sticks. I went in expecting a long, boring class, but I honestly looked forward to coming back because of her.
Taresa Johnson was my instructor. She was very knowledgeable, she was very interactive with the class, and she made the class enjoyable. She was a very great instructor.

Dan was my driving instructor and he was amazing. He helped me to gain driving confidence. His tutoring style is really remarkable. I did my drivers test with Fernando and he did an awesome job explaining the test dynamics.
I had no prior experience and had to learn how to drive from zero basically as an adult. I knew I wanted to learn through a driving school and did a lot of research. I found Alfa driving school which had a lot of good reviews. I studied them carefully and was very impressed with the reviews for Elizabeth so I decided to go with her. Glad I did! She is absolutely wonderful, very patient, smart, calm and her teaching style is top notch. She tailors her teaching style to the student and this has a huge advantage since people learn in different ways. She communicates very clearly and has helped me get to my goal which was to gain confidence while driving. I went from zero to passing my test first time and get to drive alone now. I am continuing to have lessons with her after I got my driving licence and she has been helping building more road reading skills and taking on more challenging drives. Seriously she is the best!! So glad she is my instructor, she is super caring and dedicated to her students. This lady is a gem!!!

I had a very great experience with Alfa Driving School! My instructor was Aaliyah and she was extremely patient, calm, and encouraging throughout the entire process. She was very thorough with explaining things and made each session comfortable. When I first started out I was extremely nervous as a new driver, but Aaliyah made driving super easy for me! I now feel more confident as a driver & would recommend Aaliyah to every new driver!
I did 4 hours of practice and got the road test package with Alfa—passed my Georgia road test on the first try! I can’t thank Elizabeth enough for her clear instructions, patience, and encouragement. I had a great experience with the Allied Learning Center and passed my driving test on the first try. All of the instructors were very attentive and informative. David was very patient and encouraging. He was always ready with keen insights about my driving and steps that I could take to improve my turns and parallel parking. Elsie helped me to get my driving speed and overall confidence up. She was patient and seemed to really care. I had one driving lesson with Eileen who reinforced the information from the previous lessons that I took. Yolanda accompanied me to my driving test. She calmed my nerves and made the process very smooth and easy. All in all, I highly recommend the Allied Learning Center Driving School!
I really wanted to experience this driving school I callled twice and texted and little to no response or call backs even my mom called i understand everyone is busy with life and having business isn’t easy but it would be nice if you guys were more considerate ……………and guys after I posted this review she started harassing my phone number and saying she wished she knew where I worked so she could hassle me when all I posted was one single review and I wasn’t even disrespectful🙏😩 and started lying on me saying I made a review someone else made Jesus Christ 😭

Literally the best instructors here. I had Coach David for three lessons before heading off to college and he helped me get my license. He was so chill and very helpful and not judgmental at all of simple mistakes. He also helped calm down after a roller coaster of emotions I went through when I passed. The amount of tears I shed one would think I’m a water sign. I already recommended a couple people to go to this driving school when to go to work for their license. 10000/10 service.

No one looks forward to training classes of any kind, especially if they are to meet the demands appointed by a court or some other governing entity. I had an unfortunate series of events earlier this year. I found myself at 49 years of age (a month away to 50) being charged with reckless driving. Since it was my first offense, I was allowed a no-contest (nolo) and one of the provisions of my sentence was to take a Risk Reduction Class. My “offense” was in Florida, however I live in Georgia. This made it cumbersome to find a class that met both needs, especially with both states having different views on their return from COVID-19 guidelines, all provided online. Now, Florida would allow an online course, while Georgia required an in-person attendance. Luckily, Zoom participation was allowed to serve for in-person criteria. I called several training centers. They had either stopped teaching the course, or had closed their doors to a lack of business. I left a voice mail message for “! ! 0 1 Atlanta Area DUI and Driving School, LLC, and Eugene Nchinda promptly returned my call. He was both professional and personal. He made sure I felt confident that I could take his class soon and that it did meet the standards that I needed. We made an appointment to talk further after he encouraged me to look online for the dates that were of interest to me. Eugene was confident and caring. He made sure I was at ease and never asked me for details on my case or anything that had happened to me that brought me to his company. I can only imagine the stories he has heard from students, during his instructor trainings, and what I found out later from his personal experience. He had heart and demonstrated this in his teaching demeanor. Now, I have had 20+ years of experience being an American Heart Association Instructor for Community and Healthcare education. I have attended an instructor training class every 5 years, dozens of conferences, and trained thousands of people in my career, life-saving techniques. I pride myself on being a good student no matter what type of course it is, and I am especially critical of the teachers. I’m not afraid to offer constructive criticism in my after-course evaluations. Eugene had character and possessed class. He made me laugh on many occasions. He made sure each participant was included in discussions and was clear and concise with his delivery and management of time. Three days of training, back-to-back, is a lot to manage. Keeping us interested, engaged, enlightened and informed is a difficult feat. Eugene did this poignantly. I looked forward to our next sessions. He made us all feel human again, when a system had once made us monsters. He also was humble and open to learning from his students. That’s a genuine trait of a great instructor-to be able to put ego aside and receive knowledge when it’s their stage or show. I highly recommend Eugene Nchinda for your training needs. He’s bright and a positive role model who’s proud of his heritage from Cameroon, Africa. He would be a great presenter at conferences and as a representative of the curriculum and content he learns and masters. I pray-to all those who are reading this-that you never have to take this course or ever have to face a conviction of DUI (guilty or not). It knocks the wind out of you and depletes all joy and honor. I am a very strong, resilient survivor of a long-term, lifelong compromised immune system…my experience, as lucky as I was, almost broke me. I have witnessed how easy our hearts harden when faced with gloom and doom from a system that’s designed to protect us all. I commend Eugene Nchinda in his commitment to providing necessary trainings that are mandated with a flair to engage each student, keep them focused, and remind us how easy it is to slip-up and a prayer that they never are charged with another DUI or reckless driving charge. In fact, his final words are “I hope that I never see you again, as a student of mine…that he hopes we meet again under different circumstances”. That’s a quality guy.

The one word that I can use to describe my experience with 1 ACT is "integrity." I was enrolled with a competitor and was in a continuous class reschedule loop. I was extremely frustrated and disappointed until I located 1 ACT via a google search. I called and spoke with Ash who was very personable and provided a great deal of helpful information. After speaking with him, I was completely sold and transferred my information over to him within minutes. To say the least, I was in his class within days. This was a great decision and a good experience. He and his entire staff were extremely personable. I highly recommend them and will say you will be pleased with your experience as well. Great facility with modern equipment.
Fantastic experience!! I talked to owner Ash for an extended time before sending my 16 year old to attend the 30 hour in person course. Ash was always pleasant, helpful, and quick to respond. Monica, the office manager is friendly and consistent ( EVERYONE is really) , the environment is safe and clean and they always have coffee available. My son really enjoyed the course throughout the 4 day split schedule and Dan, the instructor of the course was incredibly knowledgeable and very obviously LOVES his job. Dan made the course as enjoyable as it was enriching. I feel my son learned a lot about being an effective and safe driver that he will retain. 1 ACT is a GEM and a worthwhile investment. I'd recommend anyone and everyone to 1 ACT.
Yolanda Ford was my instructor & I would highly recommend her! As you can imagine, a 6-hour class can get very monotonous. She did a great job of keeping us engaged, incorporating real-life stories/current events, and just letting her own personality shine through while going over the material. The experience that I had at roadmaster of savannah. I had very knowledgeable instructors who each provided useful information that was need to excel to the next level of my career. Positive experience across the board from recruiting all the way to the instructors, the classroom was very informative and straightforward. Instruction were clear and in depth and the knowledge given was always deemed true and worked effectively as promised. Sequan was excellent with his explanations of the maneuvers, Mike was professional at not only breaking down maneuvers but also showcasing it. Fred was very knowledgable at giving multiple pointers on what to look for and how to go about executing each maneuver. Harry cut no corners and let us know exactly what the expectations were setting and excellent standard.

This service was a godsend! Made a nervous couple of parents feel more comfortable with letting our 16 year old take flight and gave our son the skills, knowledge, and confidence to ace his driving test and feel good about driving! We learned quite quickly that kids don’t want to hear our driving tips but hang on every word whispered by this instructor! This is a great investment for all!

Best thing I ever did was schedule professional driving lessons for my child!! Why did I not do this for my first 2???? Huge difference, much less anxiety for mom. Instructor was professional and took teen from step B to X in just 6 hours of instruction. Teen is more relaxed, more aware driver at this point.

Ms. Shavoka, is a really good instructor if you don’t understand something she will explain it in a different way, and is strict but in a good way like with a firm tone but kind intent. And she also arrived on time!
The instructor Mr. Eugene was very kind and helpful. He made class enjoyable but I also learned a lot from him. I felt like he had our best interests at heart and I would recommend anyone who has to take one of these courses, to sign up for his classes.
I really appreciate this school for the online Joshua law class and the driving instructor Shavanka helping my son learn how to drive! She came early, professional and extremely helpful!! This Defensive Driving class is definitely worth it all in all. I had a strong feeling that it was going to be boring and useless because a 6 hour class on a Saturday morning does not sound fun at all. However they teach the material and topics in an interesting way including personal stories from both the students and the instructor. I learned things there that still stick with me days and weeks after the class has ended. Nancy did a great job instructing us to be better drivers on the road and provided us with adequate breaks to help us stay focused and get through the day. Thank you Nancy and A-1 Driving; I highly recommend everyone to go here as needed.
Mr. Fowler was a great teacher. He always had candy for us and even when we where behind he found ways for us to get a break from the work. I would 10/10 recommended taking the actual driving course with a teacher with this driving school over the online course. You get more experience and a better understanding of the material.
My experience was in a virtual class, but it was fantastic, well run, and with an awesome instructor. Dr. Averhart is the man!

I first went to another driving school that made me lose my confidence. One of their trainers even pointed at a crashed car and said, ‘Your car will look like this,’ which was very discouraging. Luckily, I found Splinding Driving School and my instructor CJ. He was patient, professional, and extremely encouraging. Thanks to him, I regained my confidence and passed my road test! CJ is the best instructor I highly recommend him to anyone learning to drive.
I took the 6 hour behind the wheel training with CJ...and once i finished i took the road test 2 weeks later and passed on the first try with an almost perfect if not perfect score...Best decision i ever made was to get CJ as my driving instructor...definitely worth it if you wanna get the test out the way.

I scheduled an defensive driving online course it was 6hrs , included small breaks so you could stretch & everyone got to read so we were engaged. I'd highly recommend & pick this school again.
A-1 defensive driving course is number one. Mr. Lester was my instructor. He is very knowledgeable about his teaching. Thank you Mr. Lester. Great appreciation for the six hours classe.

A1 is great for whatever needs you may have. I took the DUI Risk Reduction course which is 3 days, 20 hours, and it was actually great! My instructor, Ruben was very down to earth and respectful and he made the classes enjoyable. Plus, the interaction with the other participants made the classes fly by with ease. I highly recommend Ruben Jones as your instructor. 😀
highly recommend A1. I took the Risk reduction course with them and it was not only easy.. it was actually fun. The instructor, Kendal Freeman, was wonderful.. he did a fantastic job and being entertaining, fair, and friendly, all while being very informative. He made a 20 hour course a billion times less grueling and painfully boring. He told personal stories, showed interest in everybody’s personal lives and took a very comedic approach to teaching the course that made the information really stick in your mind. Absolutely amazing place. I will say this too, the lady at the office that answers the phone is Absolutely amazing, very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend A1 driving school!

If you’re looking for a driving school that is flexible with in person or virtual - this is where you should go. Our instructor was no nonsense, straight to the point, and really educated us on driving safety. I took this class because I got a ticket, and I’m hoping this class certificate helps for court. The sign up process was easy and simple - just be prepared that virtual is just like your in person. Highly recommend their services.

I’d do this all over again. Trucking was a dream I wanted to do for a while. I can honestly say Ms. Nita was sooo motivational in ways she’ll never know. Big John there breaks his knowledge down so everyone could understand, he listens to you. So rather I pass my test in a couple days or not, this school is really golden!!! Thank you guys sooo much. No follow ups with me. I took the time to fill out the application, go to the student interview with an advisor on thursday, took the time to immediately go get and pay for my clean 7 yr MVR, and my clean full background check at the sheriff's office, and take them back to GDA on the next day, Friday 2 weeks ago. I was told by Tim that someone would contact me back on mon-tues last week, i even contacted the advisor and was told hes "been slammed". I've heard from no one. Totally unprofessional, especially when I was ready to pay on the spot. I'm looking elsewhere now to get my CDL.
I done the class A license.. I was very happy with the instructors. They took a lot of time to work with me. They never gave up on me even when I was wanting to quit. I highly recommended them … all the instructors there are super knowledgeable and know how to teach.. they had pretty decent equipment but then again we’re learning. They’re not gonna give us an expensive piece of machinery to tear up. If you’re looking to get your CDL I would recommend you go to the school.
Georgia Driving Academy is and was life changing. All of the instructors are very helpful and go above and beyond to make sure all of their students receive and have full knowledge of the industry as a whole. The recruiters also want to see you succeed and do everything they can to make it happen. Highly recommended for anyone trying to excel. A great first step to locking in on a prosperous future. I have to be honest here...I don't know much about the various truck driver schools but I know factually the Georgia Driving Academy is one of if not the best. From day one the trainers, facilitators, the staff all are there for the sole purpose of helping and training those who desire to get their CDL. Very hands on approach and thorough to say the least. They made me feel like they were personally invested to help me be as successful as possible. From Tony to the receptionist at the front desk and particularly Ms. Nita who took the time to daily encourage me to keep going...to "welcoming me home" to the truck drivers life. I would recommend to any and all! Top notch operation!

The class was very informative. My teacher Mrs. Turner kept the class involved and gave us many gems to use as Defensive Drivers. I will definitely be referring my friends and family to A-1 driving school.

I paid for my 2 teenagers to attend online courses as well as professional driving instruction on Oct 31, 2023 . I received email notification a few days before the class, stating that it was cancelled. I then demanded a refund since this was the best time frame with our schedule. I was told that they were awaiting their license renewal but would be contact with me to begin the refund. Fast forward 3 months..I have not received a refund. The website has been taken down. The office building has been vacated. I still have not received a refund! Text messages delivered but not read. I have been totally ghosted. I am just asking for my money back!
The staff is sooooooo very helpful and supportive!!!! Every single person who works there is absolutely fantastic!

After $360 one would believe that the instructor would have no issues with filling out the forms required for you to obtain your license back, but Mr. Pearson ignored multiple requests and then sent my call to voicemail. I am thankfully smarter and called from an alternate number and he picked right up. Then had the audacity to try and upsell his buddy Mr Nichols for another evaluation that was unnecessary. Saying he was not the one who needs to fill out the form. My form clearly stated whom needed to fill it out. The instructor of said drug and alcohol course is whom needed to fill it out. He tried to get me to pay for something else that was unnecessary and would have cost me an additional $150! I find that to be highly unethical and more than definitely unprofessional. His name isn't the instructors name on my DUI class certificate either. A woman named Mary A. Turner whom I have never met or spoke to. Who is the Mrs. Turner? I haven't the slightest clue. But I do not recommend trusting this man with your money or anything he recommended is a requirement. Have a blessed day and I pray everyone gets exactly what they deserve at clearvision.

The 30 hour driving class, 6 hours of driving lessons and taking the driving test at Nathan’s was 100%. I can’t recommend Nathan’s any higher. Our two other kids will definitely be following in the footsteps of our oldest one with Nathan’s.
I would never recommend Nathan's. We have had the worst experience since originally signing up with them this summer. We waited 3 months to even get a driving lesson on the calendar. We called in June and the first available lesson time was the end of August. I have called every week between June and August hoping a time would open up...nothing. I get it. It's hard to find people to hire these days, but 3-months? In addition, you have to call on the phone and speak to someone for EVERYTHING other than the initial sign up. Don't be fooled when you can buy your giant, expensive package online. That's where your online service ends. The women in the office are very nice, but it is 2022. We should be able to handle a lot of this online. I do this type of scheduling after work and on weekends when I have time so it's a huge inconvenience to have to try to find a time to call during business hours. And god forbid your kid get sick and has to miss a weekend appointment. There is absolutely no way to get in touch with anyone over the weekend. I drove to the school and found the poor instructor standing outside waiting for us even though we had called the day before to let them know we wouldn't make it. Finally, let's talk about the in-person classroom instruction. The instructor our daughter had was so militaristic that she cried after the first day and asked us not to send her back. In addition, the the material provided, specifically around anything having to do with vehicles was completely outdated. The instructors do not know anything about electric cars and seemed to shame my daughter because she was telling them some of their assumptions about cars did not apply to her family's electric vehicle. So, all in all, this was a pretty horrendous experience. I know that there are other options around town, I'd seriously consider those.
I had a terrible fear of driving. It has been 6 years since I've driven a car at all. I wanted to gain some confidence so I enrolled with Nathan's. My instructor was Brent Neiman. Brent was very patient and a great "coach" while letting gain confidence and learning how to drive. He made sure that I will be challenged all throughout our session without me feeling intimidated and overwhelmed. I also took the Road Test with Nathan's and I finally drove with only a bit of nervousness but now very confident of driving skills! All in all, the services I got from Nathan's from enrollment to driving lesson to scheduling to road test were exceptional! Done within 1 month from the time I inquired. I'm very excited to finally have my driver's license! Thank you Brent and the staff of Nathan's!
Thanks to Nathan’s Driving school, I was able to get my license on my first try. I had Ms Sabrina for the classroom and Ms Earnestine for my 6 hours driving lessons. Ms Sabrina tried to make a long 30 hour class fun while teaching us defensive driving techniques. ( Ask her to tell you some of her stories) Ms Earnestine helped me to be a confident driver on the road. I was a little nervous driving but she helped me get over it. I would definitely recommend Nathan’s to anyone.
Both of my sons took their driving class at Nathan's. They took the class in the summer in one week (with a couple friends). Nathan's suggested that they wait to do their driving hours for highway driving, since the cars have 2 sets of brakes, and to do these hours right before taking their driving test once they turn 16. The driver explained everything they would be tested on while they were driving & it is was fresh in their mind when they took the test. I opted to pay for my kids to take the actual driving test for the state of GA through Nathan's, so they were able to take the test in the car with the same driver they had practiced with. This made it much less stressful and they both passed on their first try with no mistakes. We had a great experience & our daughter will do her driving with them in a few years!

I took the defensive driving course today and the classroom setting was great. Mr Barron is a great teacher, there was never a dull moment. His style of teaching was great being that we had to do a 6 hour course. All the guys in class gave their opinions and feedback. I hope to never have to do a class of such again as it pretains to my license BUT if I do, I will come back here.

After a displeased talk and rudeness over the phone with Mr. Jones with Jones Driver Education (another driving school) which I DO NOT RECOMMEND THAT PLACE TO ANY FOREIGNER BECAUSE THE STAFF TREATED ME IMPOLITE BECAUSE I HAVE AN ACCENT. I called to Brock's Driver Education and Mr. Brian was very nice, patient, and explained everything with each detail. Great experience with my teenager for driving school. We have one of four children down for a license three more to go and they all will be coming to Brock's! Do yourself a favor and call them too! You will not be disappointed.
Update:i got my drivers license July 9th thank you Brocks. Great driving school, I paid for my lesson in December and I had to go to college so I rescheduled them in May, I am now a confident driver, i intend to get my license after i practice some more, My instructor Mr. Prince is very knowledgeable and he let's me drive around the whole city, he gives me great directions so that I can be a safe driver. Would recommend for anyone looking to gain experience.

Absolutely HORRIBLE, NO PROFESSIONALISM WHAT SO EVER! the man I spoke to who claims to be a veteran & the owner of this unprofessional place was beyond rude, I paid 75$ for 1hr driving lessons, it was supposed to be from 7-8pm when I arrived he told me he already had someone for that time he said he did not have an appointment for me so I had to wait till 8,when we returned back from driving I was told I needed 2 more lessons till I can receive my license but was unable to attend the last 2 lessons I so called needed due to mr.prince (or whatever his name is) being extremely nasty with me over the phone due to me asking about the price changing for my second lesson! NO RESPECT!!!!! This place care about the money ONLY! They don’t even deserve one star!

Both my girls went through DADS to get their permit and most recently their license. The instructor had so much patience with the girls. I highly recommend using DADS for all you driver’s education needs and more. They are great with teen drivers!

Horrible service. Data entry misses and unjustified class cancelations without notice. This after making you pay upfront. They have now cancelled all but 1 of my upcoming classes, and are refusing to give me a refund. I paid and started booking classes on Apr 30. Even before booking classes, I noticed my data was entered incorrectly on the student portal. My home/pickup address and phone number were incorrect after even receiving an email double checking my information. I had to manually fix these myself later. My first class on May 7 was canceled without prior notice, due to “weather” when it only started to rain well after my allotted time. If I hadn’t started emailing customer support early in the morning, they would not have even notified me the class had been canceled. I was finally told exactly an hour after my class was to start that there was a cancellation. I decided I could not work with a company making so many mistakes, that I requested action be taken to give me a refund the same day. As of May 8, they have cancelled all but one of my scheduled classes, without notice. Why not cancel them all and reconcile payment with me? As of May 9 morning, their “Finance Manager” contacted me stating they are not at fault and refuse to give me a refund. Not even an apology or a phone call. I will be reporting this company to the Better Business Bureau.
Matt Johnson is the best! He made me very comfortable behind the wheel, which helped with my anxiety of driving.

Jones driving school did an excellent job teaching my daughter all the fundamentals of driving. They were very patient and made sure that she was comfortable driving. She really learned a lot. Everyday that she left class, she came home so excited to share what she learned, I felt like I was in class. This family oriented establishment made it easy and fun to learn.
I took a weekend class here, and Billie was my instructor. She is AMAZING! She is incredibly serious about her job, actually listens to shared stories; and isn’t like your average counselor. Mr Jones and front desk were welcoming, great attitude, and helpful. Very clean office and classrooms. I very much recommend this business!
Just passed the two day MSF/BRC today! Had José as my instructor. It was amazing and I learned alot. He's a great instructor you won't regret it if you mess up (cause I'm new to motorcycles and messed up a few times) he explains what you did wrong and how to fix it and you're good to go, no pressure no stress just relax and do it. I recommend the course. Now I'm able to ride with no issues! You really do go from a beginner to someone who knows what they're doing!
My daughter called Jones Driving School in Grovetown today to ask what their social distancing policies are for the May classes. Mr. Jones himself answered the phone and refused to tell her. He told her he doesn’t talk to children. As a parent, I encourage my children to make general inquiries such as this to help prepare them for adulthood. She is nearly 17 and is quite capable. As a potential student, she has a right to know what precautions are being made for her safety. I called Mr. Jones myself and he was extremely rude. He told me he was too old to talk to children. How is this man supposed to teach with this attitude? I have sent two of my children to this school before without incident. I will not send another.
My husband and I completed the MSF Basic Rider Course. Jose was patient with everyone and teaching us how to ride safely and properly. You can’t take anything personal while learning and take constructive criticism well. My best advice is to follow his instructions and “ride your ride!” We had a great time with Jose and other riders! Thank you for the opportunity to share your knowledge with us!
