Nevada Drive Academy is absolutely the best! I had Jeff work with my daughter a week prior to her driver’s test and she learned a lot. From the language the testers will use in the drivers test, he gave her tips to know regarding the possible routes and made her have the confidence that she would be able to pass her test. And she did pass on her first try! My daughter expressed that Jeff was kind and easy to work with and explained things very well - easy to comprehend driving instructions and questions maybe I didn’t explain the best prior. I definitely recommend Jeff to any parent that is getting their child ready for their drivers test.
Thank you! My anxious daughter just wasn’t able to get comfortable driving. I thought it would take weeks for her to learn but it only took a couple of sessions. Jeff has a very calming and reassuring way of teaching. He has the best tips and tricks that even helped me and I’ve been driving 35 years! We took his advice on where and when to schedule the drivers test. He met us at the DMV and did a quick session beforehand. His help really made all the difference to her success.

Jeff is a wonderful trainer! He’s very chill and relaxed which made my daughter very comfortable on the road. His knowledge taught her so much and prepared her for her test. Jeff and my daughter drove multiple routes that the dmv will use on the test. Needless to say, she passed easily and we will be using Jeff again for my son. I highly recommend Jeff!

Totally loved my experience with Alise! She is by far the best instructor anyone could ask for. She was patient, and reassured me that it would all be alright. I passed my driving test the first time thanks to to Rick and Emily! Scheduling with Rick was easy. He responded quickly and was on time to each lesson. Before my test I was nervous, but both Emily and Rick gave me the confidence to pass! They drove me around the DMV area and gave me super helpful tips. The pricing may be a little pricy, but from the communication to the lessons itself, it was enjoyable and I totally recommend this Driving school! Drivers ED was also fun, the class got pizza on the last day!

Rick is a dope dude and definitely an amazing teacher with great hands on and vocal lessons. Pretty fun and knows how to be a great dude while still teaching in a unique way. Definitely need to take this school because not only is he an absolute unit in the classroom but also in the car. Along with his other worker Steve. Both or awesome.

Thanks to George's patience and encouragement I was able to confidently pass my first test with a 94! He is incredibly knowledgeable about the roads and he certainly made me feel more comfortable driving especially as someone who has had trouble experiencing driving anxiety. He explains everything comprehensively and I was able to learn so many useful tips in such short lessons. Truly a trustworthy instructor I can't recommend enough!!
I passed my behind the wheel test in first attempt! I took only two lessons from Mr. George prior to my test. He was extremely patient and helpful. I've had driving lessons from some other schools in Las Vegas but I found Mr. George THE BEST!! He took me to the DMV for drive test and kept giving me instructions/useful tips while I was waiting for my turn and dropped my off at home. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM!
Let me tell you guys . George is awesome 😎 !!! My husband referred me to him and I had 2 driving sessions with him plus an additional mini session on the day of my driving test . George is an expert and makes you feel very comfortable he is like a father to you while you are practicing with him he even picked me up from home and took me to practice and brought me back home 🤗. George is very knowledgeable about the driving test , explains clearly to where you can understand and the streets that we practiced on were some of the streets I was tested on . We practiced at the Sahara dmv and area btw .He does not make you feel judged when practicing ,he has a very great sense of humor and he compliments your driving as well as give you constructive criticism. Dear parents of teen drivers and all: As a parent, I strongly recommend Mr. George. He is professional, skillful, EXPERIENCED, calm, and very very very patient. Today my daughter passed the test the first time just because she had a very excellent teacher. Mr. George even provide the test taker with his own car on the day of the test. He also give driving practice lessons before your scheduled test time which contribute to your success.

We used this school for 2 different sessions for my daughter, who already was comfortable driving. Both instructors, Bill and Wendy, were very patient and helpful. I especially liked working with Thierry, who would respond to my text messages almost immediately. As they have several instructors, they are trying to be very flexible accommodating requested times for driving lessons. I wholeheartedly recommend this school.
Andy was a fantastic instructor. His approach made the driving experience a lot less anxiety inducing and a lot was learned with him. Passed the test first try. Thank you :)
My son, Robert, took lessons at Las Vegas Driving School. He passed his driving test with a score of 89% after just 4 hours of lessons with Frank! Frank was very patient and professional. He gave Robert the information and confidence necessary to do well on his test. The owner, Thierry was very easy to deal with. This is an excellent driving school and we would highly recommend to anyone in need of driving lessons.
I’m so glad I found this driving school, I was in desperate need of a car to use for my driving test I didn’t think I would find any availability. But Thierry was very nice and worked around getting me an appointment for a lesson and my drivers test, he was very quick and told me everything I needed to know with their policy beforehand and how everything worked. I got Nancy as my instructor and she was nothing but the best, I was very nervous but she was very nice and patient with me and made me feel better with how supportive she was she told me everything I needed to know before taking the test and I passed first try! Words can’t describe how thankful I am for Thierry and Nancy. I definitely recommend them for anyone who needs driving lessons and/or in need of a car for their test like me.
As soon as my son received his drivers permit, I knew that i needed to look into driving schools for him. My husband and I took him driving as long as we could, that’s when I called Thierry at Las Vegas Driving school, and I am happy I did! Thierry is amazing, patient and answered all my questions, explained to me the process of the driving lessons and also what to expect before the driving road test for my son. My son took a couple driving lessons, I did like that it was pay as you go, I wasn’t obligated to buy a package deal. I paid for each lesson. I made the appointment. So that was nice because it was on my time with my availability and affordability. My son also said the instructors were amazing, gave him pointers on what to look for on the driving test, Defensive driving, and rules of the road. My son was also very confident with his driving skills and also gave me peace of mind As a parent, And I am grateful for that. Three lessons took at least three years off of my learning curve! Monte is an amazing instructor and very based. I like to call him Based Monte. I took a few lessons over a couple of weeks and now have a much better mindset about driving, and much more confidence and improved driving skills. Feeling hyped about my DMV test!
Great learning experience. Monte is an instructor who makes sure you understand the practical side of the rules which makes it more engaging and easier to digest and apply. He's feedback on the way you drive and what you need to look for are "spot on" as we say. The other nice thing we did is a simulation of the driving test by going to the actual location of the DMV school and went through all the check lists that you will be going through at the day of your exam. This by it self will boost your confidence and get you set up for the day of the driving test. I would recommend this experience for everyone as it will not only make you pass the exam, but also teaches you how to drive safely on the roads
I learned a lot from Monty he was very helpful, was a good and fun teacher that kept us engaged. Learned unique things that I think normal drivers Ed teachers would not teach like telling us what to do when a cop pulls you over, and what to do in emergency situations. Classroom environment was fun and educating. If I were to do this again I would hope to get Monty.
I’ll admit it, I was terrified to drive with my teen son. ;) Monte was patient, tailored the lessons to focus on the skills he needed, and somehow transformed my nervous new driver into a confident one. Having the instructor’s brake control on the passenger side gave my teen the chance to progress faster and safer than I ever could have managed on my own. Now I can sit in the passenger seat without gripping the door handle for dear life. Highly recommend!

This driving school was amazing! I signed up for behind-the-wheel lessons with Val (Valeria Romano) and she was super sweet, conversational, and helpful! Driving with her was great! Plus, the two-day instruction was really easy and smooth! My instructor Mr. Fopiano was really knowledgeable about driving, the road, DMV regulations, and the things that new, teenage drivers are usually unaware of. The campus was nice and lunch was provided for us students both days. This driving school was amazing and I cannot recommend it more!
I was terrified to drive because of a past trauma from my childhood. I honestly thought I would never be behind the wheel. But my instructor Brittany created a very calm environment. I learned so much from her. She's very knowledgeable and definitely someone good to pick if you have the same issues I did when I first started learning. She's amazing! Definitely was worth getting the lessons.
Debra was quite literally amazing! It’s all thanks to her and this driving school that I got my license. She took me everywhere to get a feel of driving to new places giving me new experiences and insights into what I’ll encounter driving. I was able to pass my driving test thanks to Zachary, David, Debra, and Luke at the office! They were always kind and taught me traffic rules carefully! They also quickly found an available instructor so I could take the DMV test, and on the test day, after practicing for an hour and a half, they gave me a ride to the DMV and encouraged me! I’m truly grateful to all of them!
Highly recommend Northwest Driving School. I passed with a score of 95. Ms Margaret of Revere is such an amazing and patient instructor. She made the whole experience so comfortable and fun. Can't recommend her enough.

Great service overall. My driving instructor Mr. T does a great job at pushing me to do better. Although sometimes I feel pressured with his aggressive tone of voice, I know it’s because he cares and wants me to do better while applying the corrections.
I cannot thank Ms. Lily enough for helping me improve my driving skills with confidence. From day one, she was incredibly encouraging, patient, and very clear with her instructions. She made every lesson productive and calm, and she always took the time to explain things in a way that made sense to me. Thanks to her, I passed my driving test on the first try and I feel completely ready to drive on my own!
I am so grateful for National Driving School. My instructor was Lily Fernandez and I recommend her to anyone that is feeling nervous about driving. I told Lily my worries and she made me feel very comfortable being on the road. She also was very accommodating with the days and times of my practices. She even picked me up at work for lessons! When practicing, she taught me all the skills I needed and even taught me skills that aren’t needed for the test like reverse/parallel parking just to make sure I was ready for the real world. When I signed up for lessons, my permit was going to expire in 1 month and Lily got me in on time and I passed my driver’s test the first try (Lily even texted me before my test wishing me good luck 🥺)! I was in interested in trying Cantor's driving school, but someone got smart with me and gave me an attitude so I tried Coastline they were more friendly.
I got James as my drivers instructor. He was a good instructor because he was able to guide in my driving and tell me all the different ways to pass the drivers test. Truck U was the best decision I made . Starting with the front desk Maria and Shar were so informative and guided me through the process to start CDL training. The instructors were so knowledgeable and helpful , Russ was always so kind and always had a positive approach to teach you every task . Holly was amazing and inspired me to be another woman in a male dominated industry. Frank was always helpful . George always shared helpful tips on being a safe driver on the road . Jon Jon was the best he really helped me out so much to understand the pre trip and helped me out so much in my Offsets , he really helped me out to the max and took the time to answer any questions I had. And Dan was the best I’m forever grateful for him there was a time I told him I didn’t think this was for me and he encouraged me to not give up ,he motivated me to believe in myself and to stop doubting myself. He helped me understand the importance of safety and shared all his experiences and knowledge of the road . I’m so grateful for truck u I received all the proper training and feel so confident in being a safe driver on the road .

I just got my CDL A there. Going to school there was a pleasant experience. All of the instructors, staff , also the AXT transportation employees are nice and encouraging. They train you to perfection. But in the end they are all excited when pass all the examinations. You do pre-trip, skills 5 days a week. You also spend so much time on the road where you get trained and evaluated every time they keep records of all your drives so you know where to improve . Then once your drive is over you get a text telling you to rate your instructor on how they were during the drive. The only thing I did not like is I had a month of training in an Automatic truck 8 hours a day 5 days a week. But only 20 hours of training in a Manual truck 4 hours a day, 5 days. Since my evaluation was bad they let me drive 2 times extra before my I had to take my test. But in the end I pass and that’s all that matters. If you decide to get a Manual certification. Beg for more time consistently. But other then that if you just get the Automatic it’s perfect.
Best school everyone is amazing and I got my cdl in 5 weeks.. Thank you Ahern so much for the support and new skills... If anyone is looking for a school please come here its worth it.
The training is well thought out in my opinion. All the instructors I worked with were amazing, and fun to be around. Anytime I had a question there was a direct answer, And the office staff were very kind and welcoming. They were also very understanding when things came up for me. I highly recommend the Ahern ACT School, it seemed a bit rough at first giving the amount of time we had but due diligence paid off. Thank you all for the amazing experience.

Despite being licensed since 2011, between not bringing a car to college and moving to the West Coast right after graduation, I had very little time behind the wheel. Even worse, terrible Los Angeles traffic/drivers and friends’ on-the-road horror stories severely affected my confidence the few times I did get behind the wheel. Upon moving to Las Vegas, I was set on reclaiming the confidence and independence that comes with daily driving. Not only that, but I was DONE making rideshare my primary means of transportation and sinking hundreds of dollars a month into rides instead of my own vehicle. I found Coastline Academy and was quickly drawn to their track record for both new drivers AND adult drivers needing a refresh or confidence boost. Scheduling was ultra-convenient and I was able to easily fit lessons in after work. Plus, at-home pickup and drop-off made things even easier, and pricing was highly competitive, at around $60/hr for personalized, one-on-one driving instruction. My instructor, Donny, was a consummate professional and established Las Vegas local who understood exactly where I was coming from as an adult driver with absolutely zero judgment, and he graciously tailored my lessons accordingly. In just six hours of lesson time across three sessions, I went from having jitters about even getting behind the wheel for a neighborhood drive to cruising the Las Vegas Strip and Clark County’s highways safely and with confidence. A month after completing my lessons with Donny and Coastline, I was able to renew my drivers license and buy my own car. Even better, I now am able to own my work commute, drive family members to and from appointments, and assist with errands, which has done wonders for my confidence and mental health. SERIOUSLY, not even doing a bit. I highly recommend Coastline to anyone, no matter where they are on their driving journey.
They are absolutely amazing! I had Leon, Tina and Donny. I went from driving within a 5 miles radius to cruising the strip and doing 70 mph on the freeway. The prices are good if you buy a package. I totally recommend them. Sometimes they arrived a little bit early and gave me an extra 10-15 minutes!
Communication is great and I know my daughter enjoyed the course and she did very well. It’s an excellent course for teens learning how to drive!
My 16 year old daughter wanted an online course for drivers ed., and I enrolled her for Coastline. So far, it’s simple to sign up, you do need to get a notarized letter saying that the student is the actual person taking the course, so you can either do it by printing it out and going to a notary, or pay a fee and Coastline will do it too. So far, she’s finished the course but is required to do a full 30 hours, so she just keeps repeating some chapters and retaking the quizzes. Easy to use.
Leon was a great teacher. My grandson didn’t want any one else so we booked Leon right away for his next lesson. I feel so much more comfortable riding with my grandson now. He is constantly telling me things Leon taught him as we are driving. So happy l choose Coastline.

I cant even Express my thanks to this school and their course. And it all Started with Shayna, she is very hands on explains everything up front and keeps it completely solid. No gimmicks, Shayna is just amazing. She works with everyone. I am extremely happy with how things went. The yard was great small to begin with but driving on dirt challenged you as a driver for drifting. The new yard great, I honestly will recommend this school to everyone who ask. They are extremely hands on with you and thorough. I appreciate this school for everything they did for me. And special thanks to Shayna she is the start of a great journey. I’m extremely disappointed with the unprofessional conduct I experienced while attempting to register for classes. I initially reached out to express my interest in enrolling and was connected with Cristal, who mentioned was a manager. Once I finally got a reply, I registered immediately, and was told I would start on Monday of the next week. However, just a few days before my start date, on Thursday, I was informed that I needed to provide a physical, driving record, and other documents- this was no issue. I complied with all the requirements and completed everything by Friday morning, but when I tried to call the school to confirm, no one answered. I didn’t get a response until 2 PM after multiple attempts to contact them, informing me that I had to visit the office by 4:30 PM. When I finally spoke with Cristal, she was incredibly rude and dismissive. She implied that I wasn’t serious about attending if I couldn’t make it to the office within a short window of time—despite the fact that none of this information was communicated to me until that same day! Cristal’s sarcastic remarks were not only insulting but unprofessional. I am shocked that a place claiming to help people better their futures could have such poor communication and customer service. I was genuinely excited to start classes on Monday, but this entire experience has left me deeply disappointed. This is not how a reputable business should treat prospective students.

This school is impressive! I learned so much with just a few lessons. I was extremely nervous at first, but I had a lot of fun with Marco and Eloisa. Before I knew it, I was talking and driving. I didn't even notice that my nerves were all gone and I was ACTUALLY DRIVING! My biggest problem was my speed, but now I say the speed limit out loud when I'm driving because Marco would always ask me, "What's the speed limit? " I'm more aware of traffic signs because I was taught to constantly look for them. Its become a habit. I'm unbelievably happy that I decided to get help with my driving at this school. Obtuve la CDL en esta escuela, la verdad que apoyan mucho para sacar la licencia enseñan bien y pues ami me fue bien en todos los test. Lo unico que tengo que lamentar hasta este momento es que cuando pregunte si el no saber un ingles fluido era un problema para que las compañias los contraten a uno, se me indico que no pero aplique para Werner Enterprises, realice el viaje a California, hice gastos y ya estando alla me dijero que no podian contratarme porque no habla suficiente ingles, sigo intentando obetener trabajo en otras compañias pero en las que he consultado para no invertir tiempo y dinero me han dicho que no. Espero que esta opinión ayude a que otros no gasten tanto dinero en sacar su licencia CDL si no hablan bien ingles ya que tendran problemas para agarrar trabajo en compañias grandes.

As someone who has tried different driving schools in Nevada, I can truthfully say Brian is the best instructor that I’ve had. He is very patient and accommodating. He has plenty of experience and is great for nervous/new drivers. I wish I had taken all my lessons with him from the start. 10/10 experience, would recommend to anyone looking to get quality lessons.

160 Driving Academy has to be the best, period. I couldn't possibly fathom another school in this area with the skills, experience, dedication and execution as this school. The instructors, Damon, Pete and Ray go above and beyond to ensure you have the skills and knowledge to safely prepare for and drive a combination vehicle, not just pass the CDL Test. In addition, Damon mixes things up in the skills yard and on the road on a daily basis creating teamwork and engagement, which in turn alleviates complacency. In other words, it's damn fun! If you put in the desire to learn, you will definitely love this school. If you want to sit on your butt and drag around, find another school. Don't go to this driving academy or the one in Carson City unless you think you can pass before they kick you out also the person in charge seems a bit shady at this location I tried going back to the driving academy in Carson but found out they completely kicked me out from what the person in charge in Reno told me and having me on hold from what I was told since last year due to I couldn't memorize there script good enough
The school was great the instructors were awesome. Damon was a wealth of knowledge with his years of experience. And Ray really helped get the pre-trip drilled into your head. I would highly recommend 160 driving academy to anyone that is interested in going.

I was driving my first day!
I went here way back in 2012 and have absolutely no regrets. Everyone there was really nice and went above and beyond. It seriously took me 3 or 4 times longer than it should have. I just wasn't getting it but they never gave up on me. Now, here I am, still doing it in 2022.

I was here from January of 2021 through July of 2021. They work with your work schedule where most trucking schools don’t and Patty, Randy, Michelle, and Pete really know their stuff and if you’re there to learn you will pass your test, and you will go on to get a job with the shortage of truck drivers. I run local so when I’m in Reno I’ll go back from time to time to visit. Good people there.

One star because you can not give zero. The instructors here are rude, they belittle you if you have any difficulties doing anything. With the exception of Jimmy. Jimmy has always been cool. I still would not recommend going here.
This school was great for me. Mike (instructor) does a great job at communicating and teaching. Steve is also great. Nothing better than going to school at your own pace and not being rushed. The trucks are constantly breaking down. They have too many students in one call so theres no real one on one time with the instructor. 5 out of 8 students continue to fail the dmv test which i think is directly linked to the instructos competence to teach. I constantly hear rants about politics instead of learning to properly drive. I dont recommend going to school here.
I would like to Thank Desert Knight CDL School and it's Driving instructors for their patience and understanding and helping me succeed in achieving my class A CDL. I work full time overnight and it was very difficult To focus on my skills. Desert Knight let me work on my own schedule until I achieved my goal. They made sure I perfected my pre trip and driving skills and once I was ready, I took my state test and passed. I made an appointment with the driving instructor and he never arrived at my home for training nor did he call to apologize for a no show.
It works. If you get frustrated teaching your kids to drive send them here. It's not cheap but was worth it.
After having a stroke 3 years ago, I wanted my husband to take Driver’s courses to help him get his independence back when it comes to driving. His drivers coach was Mr. Christopher Sellers. Great teacher very patient, kind, encouraging, and professional. He complimented my husband on how well he was doing after 3 years and gingerly informed him of his challenges in driving that he needs more work on to avoid accidents. He was very encouraging in that, if my husband continues to improve in the areas that are challenging for him, he believes that he can be a safe and defensive driver, if he was to drive solo. Thank you Mr. Christopher Sellers for always willingly given an update on how the drive went, and encouraging words. Most of all thank you for taking the time with others to help them become safe drivers especially after a trying medical condition. I have allowed my husband to drive more when we go places, and I gave him the directive that you have given me that he has to have a trained, changed mind to correct the bad habits that could potentially cause an accident, and for the most he has been listening, thank you. I have already attended multiple lessons, upwards to about 10. I have had the same instructor, Corey Avis. And to be honest, he makes learning how to drive truly an enjoyable experience. Not one lesson, where i did not enjoy, well perhaps the first one since i was so nervous. Safeway driving has taught me alot of things, they dont just make you memorize rules, they made you practice rules subconsciously. I find myself subconsciously doing the mirror shoulder check and i think that is an excellant habit.Would 100% recommend. Would also recommend Corey Avis, he is truly a great instructor.
I simply cannot recommend this school enough. Mike, who's been my primary instructor, is excellent at his job with much patience and an easy going attitude, ridding all of my anxiety with driving as soon as the first lesson started. He had helped me refine my driving skills, allowing me to pass my drivers test after failing my first time.
They were wonderful! My son was nervous driving with a stranger and the driver made him feel so comfortable! He gave my son excellent instruction! We then had them take him out again right before his driver’s test and he passed with a 98%. I HIGHLY recommend them and will use them for my other 2 children.
My instructor was Lorna. She was great and super patient to a beginner driver like me. Yesterday I passed my driving test at DMV with 93points out of 100! Thank you Lorna and Safeway driving!
When taking the class I thought that it would be useful. Now after taking my permit test I realize that it wasn't. They teach you a ton of random things to help you past their test, not the DMV test. Safeway did not teach me one thing that was on the test. I 100% do not recommend.
