Nevada Drive Academy is absolutely the best! I had Jeff work with my daughter a week prior to her driver’s test and she learned a lot. From the language the testers will use in the drivers test, he gave her tips to know regarding the possible routes and made her have the confidence that she would be able to pass her test. And she did pass on her first try! My daughter expressed that Jeff was kind and easy to work with and explained things very well - easy to comprehend driving instructions and questions maybe I didn’t explain the best prior. I definitely recommend Jeff to any parent that is getting their child ready for their drivers test.

Jeff is a wonderful trainer! He’s very chill and relaxed which made my daughter very comfortable on the road. His knowledge taught her so much and prepared her for her test. Jeff and my daughter drove multiple routes that the dmv will use on the test. Needless to say, she passed easily and we will be using Jeff again for my son. I highly recommend Jeff!
We hired Jeff for behind the wheel instruction for my daughter and he explained/showed her what to look out for and why. He was responsive to all of our questions and concerns, gave her and myself feedback, and followed her through until her driving test. He was also there for her during her online class to ensure she understood. Jeff’s constant support gave our daughter the confidence to go into her driving test with little anxiety and ended up passing near perfectly. We highly recommend Jeff and will be hiring him again for our next child’s driving instruction.

Please who ever reed this review, don't choose this school. You will waste your money. They don't teach anything. Lynn is horrible instructor and also rude. During the driving session she was getting nervous and didn't teach me well. After that i paid different school to learn driving. Don't choose this school!
Success! My teen daughter passed her drive test the first time!! Lyn and Alise were great. Very patient with my daughter and taught her some new skills. UPDATE as of 11-04-25: I took my driving test today at DMV and I PASSED! The route that Ms. DeAuna took me on while with her during the "behind the wheel training" was similar to the route the test was taken. I remembered all her tips she gave me (like when turning right, go to the left of the bike lane AFTER the turn...the proctor said many turn into the bike lane which can be an automatic fail) DeAuna's voice of encouragement was in the back of my mind, and honestly, surprisingly, I was NOT nervous taking the test today. I saw others in lobby with other schools and they looked deathly afraid, panicking, going to the restroom, etc... Those that took the test before me said they got dinged for not going below 25 miles per hour when you exit the parking lot due to school zone (but if lights flashing, it'll be 15) I knew to go under 25 on the WHOLE street BOTH ways due to DeAuna's lessons!!! THANKS again SAFEDriving School, ,,,and everyone seeing this, please read my full review, & when you take your behind the wheel class, especially if you're lucky enough to get DeAuna too, you'll realize that this driving school is legit. While in the lobby after my test waiting for my paper license, I met a few who were waiting to get tested & they were there with different driving schools using their vehicles. They said the other companies they were using were 'trash' and kept yelling, mostly talking of tips while on side of road & no driving,, etc... I told them if for some reason they failed, they should call SAFE Driving School and they'll see the difference in quality. (And NO, I'm not getting paid for this review, nor am I affiliated or know anyone that works in SAFE Driving School). My main point of this long ass review is to help you trust this company who will help you pass your test with confidence. In a world where most companies strive to do anything to make a buck, this company actually has empathy and will make you succeed. Good luck everyone. Wow, where do I start? I haven’t driven in over 20 years and I just moved here from California. I’m in the process of getting my drivers license again and the roads are very different in Nevada. I wanted to take a 2 hour refresher behind the wheel driving lessons to build my confidence. I called Safe Driving School on Tuesday. Lynn answered the phone And she was super nice! I asked her how much it would cost, and it was very cheap. Online there are too many scammers in driving schools charging way too much trying to add on services and Lynn did NOT try to scam me by asking if I wanted other things. Lynn made me feel very comfortable And I immediately signed up for the service on Thursday, which was the next available spot. I’m 50 years old never had a ticket, but I was already a nervous wreck. All day Thursday morning, I was peeing so much from nerves. My driving instructor, DeAuna, drove to my house to pick me up for my lessons. I was scared that my instructor was gonna be a hard ass, meaning very strict, yell at me, unfriendly, be judgmental because I’m learning to drive again, etc. After the first minute of meeting her, ALL my nerves were gone!!!😁 She made me feel so confident by giving me words of wisdom and in two hours, I was able to meet my goals of how to drive the streets for my DMV test and driving in general once I get my license hopefully next week at my test. What I mean is in California, every road has White painted lines and in Nevada, it’s only those reflector dots. DeAuna Made me feel sooo comfortable that the two hours flew by quickly. I truly and honestly recommend this driving school for everyone whether they’re a teenager or a senior learning to drive again. I also noticed during my time of learning that there were other Safe Driving School cars being driven around by different aged customers which shows they’re a very reliable and trusted company. Thank you again DeAuna and Lynn… I do feel I will pass this test and not be nervous thanks to your lessons!

Stephen was the best instructor I could’ve asked for! Incredibly knowledgeable, great at teaching, and makes you feel confident and comfortable in your driving abilities. I passed my 1st time with only 4 lessons thanks to him.

I highly recommend George! Very professional and experienced. With his knowledge I managed to pass the test on my first try. Also price wise, he’s the best out there. All around a great instructor! 👍😎
George taught me how to drive with patience. He had this sketches on the road and explained everything we might face on the road. He taught the road rules very well. He have a calm voice and will not make you nervous driving. I got 98/100. He always says it's easy and gave advises in a calm way.
George makes sure to work on things one skill at a time and is always very calm. I never felt bad for learning or messing up. The first time I ever drove was with him and despite my nerves he was very reassuring. I needed my license and didn't have time to fail and the urgency was a recipe for disaster with my anxiousness but his confidence in me let me stay calm and I passed my first try!

We went with this driving school for our teenage son and we were very satisfied wits the whole experience. My son said the instructor was very helpful and he felt comfortable during his driving lesson. I highly recommend using them.
My son, Robert, took lessons at Las Vegas Driving School. He passed his driving test with a score of 89% after just 4 hours of lessons with Frank! Frank was very patient and professional. He gave Robert the information and confidence necessary to do well on his test. The owner, Thierry was very easy to deal with. This is an excellent driving school and we would highly recommend to anyone in need of driving lessons.

I passed my drivers test with the help of Las Vegas NV Driving School and Driver’s Ed! Their online website for drivers ed was easy to use and very understandable. My in person sessions with them taught me valuable skills to keep with me on the road. They have helped me become a cautious and well rounded driver! I am glad to have been able to work with them throughout my learning process!
I started with zero driving experience and last Monday I passed my driving exam with a 98! I passed my driving test first try and I only took 3 lessons! My driving instructor Andy was very professional and insightful and in my first lesson I went from having zero driving experience, to driving on the freeway in the span of 2 hours! Favor was amazing to work with and helped my daughter pass her driving test. Nexsan was a great instructor who was able to correct some of my daughter's driving problems in just a couple of lessons. The school was also able to provide a vehicle for my daughter to take her driving test in, which was very useful since we didn't have an appropriate vehicle at the time.

Got my instruction permit 2 weeks ago; two lessons and two weeks later, passed my driving tests with ease and ready for the road. Monte is so knowledgeable and is such a great instructor. After failing my driving test more than once, my confidence was gone. I called Monte and he got me right in. He’s a great teacher and needless to say, I passed the driving test on the next try. He really is helpful and knows what the dmv is looking for and I would recommend him to anyone who needs driving instruction.

I had a great experience with Northwest Driving School. I want to give a big thank you to Marisa, Roy, Brittany, and Debra for being so patient and helpful. They really took the time to teach me how to drive safely, park correctly, and stay confident on the road. Each instructor made me feel very comfortable and supported through the whole process. I was terrified to drive because of a past trauma from my childhood. I honestly thought I would never be behind the wheel. But my instructor Brittany created a very calm environment. I learned so much from her. She's very knowledgeable and definitely someone good to pick if you have the same issues I did when I first started learning. She's amazing! Definitely was worth getting the lessons.
Northwest Driving School is a great place to learn. The environment was really nice and made me feel comfortable. Our instructor, Frank J. Fopiano, did a great job and took his time during the two-day class. He even bought us sandwiches and Domino's and told us to enjoy as much as we wanted. I had both Woldu and Habtu while driving at this school. They are both excellent driving teachers and are very knowledgeable on traffic laws. Both instructors are calm and reassuring; mistakes and questions are always encouraged to learn (and I had a lot!).I had little to no experience before practicing with them and after only a month and a half, I passed my test today. I highly recommend enrolling yourself.

My training went smoothly, but before that I was very nervous and worried that it would be difficult. In the end, Stephani helped me stay calm and gain the knowledge and experience that every driver should know. I had Stephani Loffredo as my driving instructor! She got rid of my fear of driving completely! I had different instructors in the past but Stephani definitely changed my mind that driving is easy! She was very calm and patient with me whenever I asked her questions and she taught me all her hacks. She taught me so much and we even went on the freeway multiple times! She even talked to my mom and reassured her that I was doing well and now my mom trusts me completely because she knew Stephani was a good instructor!

We were so pleased with the instruction my son received from James Goddard. He put my son at ease and taught him in a very positive and affirming matter. Recent Graduate here "Bama", Loved the school, loved the instructors, They Put safety first and have very good insight on what you will face out on the road. They put alot of effort into teaching the students i dont think i seen anyone who went in my time there not get a CDL. They are flexible with the schedule and I will definately be back for endorsements.

I just got my CDL A there. Going to school there was a pleasant experience. All of the instructors, staff , also the AXT transportation employees are nice and encouraging. They train you to perfection. But in the end they are all excited when pass all the examinations. You do pre-trip, skills 5 days a week. You also spend so much time on the road where you get trained and evaluated every time they keep records of all your drives so you know where to improve . Then once your drive is over you get a text telling you to rate your instructor on how they were during the drive. The only thing I did not like is I had a month of training in an Automatic truck 8 hours a day 5 days a week. But only 20 hours of training in a Manual truck 4 hours a day, 5 days. Since my evaluation was bad they let me drive 2 times extra before my I had to take my test. But in the end I pass and that’s all that matters. If you decide to get a Manual certification. Beg for more time consistently. But other then that if you just get the Automatic it’s perfect.
AMAZING 👏 I love it. From office staff to the instructor they are all very professional and very helpful, respectful. I wished I had known about them before I went to the school that doesn't have any professionalism with bad attitude. But Ahern Act Advance Career is Extremely professional. I'm so glad to know them. Do yourself a huge favor and sign up with this company. Their trucks are newer and extremely clean, easy to operate, and run very smooth. The training grounds are pristine. The trainers/examiners are so knowlegable and nice. They don't scream at you if you make a mistake... and I made many. I passed on my first try only because the trainers make it so easy to understand how to drive and complete your skills test, which suprisingly helped me get a perfect score, got 100%! Go see Lina or Jenna. These two young ladies will work with you and your financial needs. Very friendly and accommodating. Big plus, they have career assistance! They have a sister company that may hire you once you have completed your CDL. They also have a job placement program with other companies who will take brand new cdl drivers right out of school. This is a top notch, best of the best school. Believe me, i checked them all out and was blown away when I saw this training site. This is a 100 star school. Go see for yourself.
If you’re in Vegas looking for the right CDL school to attend I will say from experience I’m so glad I chose Ahern ACT! The ladies who run the front of the school Jenna and Lina, they have me several different creative financial aid options to pay for the school. All the instructors are great, but I have to give a huge shout out to my instructor Roberto, man he was patient, approachable, easy to chat with and just made learning fun! Also you are able to test for your CDL right at the Ahern ACT yard which is where you do all of your training, my test Proctor Bob was also awesome really made me feel calm when taking my test and made the whole process manageable because he would put your mind at ease that you had the best Instructors, you lot in all the work so trust the process, which I did and passed in 4 weeks!! I promise you won’t regret going to Ahern ACT

Each had their own teaching methods so it was great to get two different perspectives from professionals. I had both Philip and Bob for my tests and they were both great. Great service and cheaper than most! Donny was my instructor and he is the best! I was able to learn and master a lot of healthy driving habits in only five days because of him. Most importantly I am no longer as anxious when driving as I was before.
My daughter loved and learned a lot. Certificate came quickly too and our daughter passed her drivers test first try with an 89%.

I did not have any patience to teach my teenage daughter how to drive. But, with this driving school my daughter had learned the correct laws and all the rules of the road because, they sit these students in class and thoroughly go through everything. My daughter has the confident to drive and passed and received her license thanks to Ellie and Marcos they are patience and they make sure the students are confident enough. You are not wasting your money or time they Want your teenager to know the rules and they are serious about safety. So, my 13 year old will be going to this school when his time comes! I contacted Nevada Driving Schools to ask if I could schedule multiple driving sessions before scheduling a DMV test. I was told instead to schedule a DMV test in advance, and after jerking me around for two months refusing to give me a straight answer to my follow-ups (if any answers at all), they finally agreed to give me ONE driving session right before my scheduled DMV test. Then after the driving session, the driver refused the car for the DMV test and said I should have scheduled multiple driving sessions (AKA: the very thing I wanted to do in the first place and they said no for two months). I am fully confident that this was a deliberate ploy to try to squeeze me for more money than I would have otherwise have to spend, given that I have tried everything short of a note signed in blood tied to a rock flying through their window to tell them I am NOT giving them any more of my time or money and yet they continue to hound me. Do not give these worthless stool-bags your money.
The best experience that I have ever had, I had Ally as my instructor and she went above and beyond to get me driving, I cant say I'm an easy customer to reach, I have a crazy schedule but Ally made it work, very kind to me and a great teacher, I remember everything she taught me, went to DMV with me early in the morning to get an appointment because that was the only day I could take the driving test. I can now brag and say that I am a great driver, and a safe one at that too, and this wouldn't have happened without an amazing instructor. Thank You Ally, My Sisters are up next, and with you by their side, I have no doubts.

I have not written any reviews, but NV Drivers Ed deserves one. The free online 30 Hour Driver's Ed on their website was very helpful. Kay - easy to talk to and accommodating/flexible with setting up my appointments. Brian - very professional and calm. Also very accommodating with my never ending (and sometimes repeating) questions. Highly knowledgeable with driving techniques, safety and traffic rules. Provides encouraging feedback and room for improvement. Tanya - only had a day of driving with Tanya. She is chill yet straight forward with the feedback. Super cool and equally knowledgeable. Overall, the experience was very positive. It elevated my confidence with driving. Their encouragement certainly did help me. I highly recommend NV Drivers ED to anyone who wants to learn how to drive.
Best in town. Trained all 3 of my kids to drive defensively. Sent him two other friends’ kids as well and nothing but great feedback, Plus the owner is the 2nd coolest person in his household.

I simply cannot rate this group of people high enough. Absolutely outstanding place to learn the skills needed to obtain a CDL and a path to a good career. Stacey is amazing and has been nothing but helpful and encouraging from the very beginning. Lynn, Scott, Phil, and Nick are great instructors (with a lot of real road time experience) all constantly showing a drive to help make sure you have all the tools you need to get your CDL. Yes you have to take the training seriously, and put in the work, but these people are great for getting you there. Absolutely recommend if you think this is a path you want to take.

In 2020 I was down on my luck and miserable at my regular job. I went to a bad trucking school prior to Desert Knight CDL school. From the moment I first visited this school I knew this place was going to change my life. Mike, Steve, Jesse, Boss Lady and staff run a very positive, uplifting, energetic and inspiring CDL school. I’m living my dreams now and it all started with my first phone call that boss lady answered in 2020 and the first time I walked through the door of this school. I took my driving test practice with Christopher, and he was an amazing instructor! He explained everything clearly, was very patient, and made me feel confident behind the wheel. I recommend not using this company for your teens driving lessons. We have had more trouble with them. First, they cancelled on us 2 weeks in a row because they said one of their drivers had an emergency in California. So they rescheduled us and I reminded them that we requested a male instructor. They sent a female. Fine no biggie. My son had one 2 hour lesson on a Tuesday and I spoke with the instructor when she was getting ready to leave making sure she would be back the following day at our scheduled time at 3. Come Wednesday no instructor showed. I waited until 3:30 and called. I got some sort of story that the instructor was sick then the story changed that she was scheduled with another driver. I demanded a refund and will not be using this school for my son’s lessons ever again.
Safeway has a great instructor named Dale. He is the best! He works well with students and their families. Request Dale if you need an instructor with patience and skills. He works well with people with health impairments as well. He is a great person. We had great experience with Dale and we are indebted for his patience and perseverance. Thank you Dale!. Safeway is getting 5 stars because of him.
EDIT: Attached are screenshots of the harassing text messages my son has been receiving. It appears they are retaliating because we proceeded with disputing the charges through our bank—an action we were forced to take due to their continued failure to return phone calls or emails regarding the refund for services not rendered. Additionally, I want to note that the bank dispute was initiated in October, yet the harassing text messages and phone calls only began on January 30, 2025. This pattern of behavior is unacceptable and further underscores their unwillingness to handle this matter professionally. I am extremely disappointed with the experience my son and I had with this driving school. We purchased 5 two-hour behind-the-wheel lessons, and the service we received was far from acceptable. Our lessons were originally scheduled for September 19th, 20th, 24th, 25th, and 26th from 12 PM to 2 PM. • On September 19th, the instructor didn’t arrive until 1:34 PM • The lesson on the 20th went as planned. • On the 24th, no one showed up by 12:15 PM, so my son called the school, and they said the driver was having issues at the DMV and would need to reschedule for Friday, September 27th. • When I called on the 27th, I was told we had to reschedule again for October 3rd, 4th, and 5th, due to the same DMV issues. Fast forward to October 3rd: Once again, no one showed up by 12 PM. I called at 12:31 PM, and they claimed they had informed my son last week that the driver had a virus and couldn’t make it. This was completely false, as I spoke to them last week, and they never mentioned a virus—only DMV issues. This entire experience has been a complete hassle, filled with delays, excuses, and poor communication. I requested a refund on 10/03 but have yet to receive it despite following up with email. The lady I spoke with said she would leave a note for the owner but have not heard back. The next step will be to dispute the charges with my bank as they did not provide the service we paid for. I cannot recommend this driving school to anyone—it has been a waste of time and money.
The owner called me all rude and condescending over her billing error. She accused me of being someone else that had been rude to her office and driver and told me I was 'yappy'. She said she was sick in bed and could not 'deal' with her business error. Furthermore she stated she didn't have to talk to me about the billing error since my son was 18 even though he's not the one that paid. She told him When she first called on his phone to not put anyone else on the phone and sounded threatening to him. She's a total psycho and Soo unprofessional! The driver was 2 hours late the first session because of her error not his then the second session the driver was instructed to ask my son for $100 which is a surprise as we were advised BOTH sessions have already been paid for. She has zero customer service skills and blamed the customer for everything. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!
My daughter took lessons here. By far the worst. They are rude and on one of her lessons while she was driving the trainer yelled at her twice. So loud to the point it made her cry. Would NOT recommend!
