This school is really good at teaching you the basics of driving and preparing you for the road test. I took their package deal of 15 classes because I was a new driver and didn’t have anyone in my family to teach me. Both instructors helped me out a lot and were patient with me. I passed my exam yesterday at the Fresh Medow DMV site.
Amazing experience! The lessons were super helpful and the instructor (Gleida) made me feel ready for my road test and passed on my first try!
Excellent service. The instructor was very patient and explained in detail how to drive. Thank you. 100% recommended.

Very good driving school. They offer all services and are very kind. They show much support even if you aren’t successful in your road test. They have good and experienced instructors overall I recommend.
I had an amazing experience, Hector was an amazing instructor I had 3 sessions and I PASSED MY DRIVER TEST he was amazing!!!!

Ryan is a great instructor! We highly recommend him and Active Driving School. Our 16 yo daughter passed her behind the wheel driving test on her first try. :)
Ryan was my instructor and he is great! He is very experienced, calm, and knows what he's doing. He suggested a lot of great tips for turning and defensive driving. I learned so much on the first lesson! I would definitely recommend anybody who is looking for a great instructor to Active Driving School.
Active Driving School is awesome! Highly recommend it. I came to them after a disappointing experience with another school that left me doubting whether I’d ever learn to drive. I’m so glad I made the switch. I passed my test on my first try after seven lessons in seven weeks. Ryan is a fantastic instructor, always helpful, patient, and encouraging. A big thank you to the whole team - Ryan, Elizabeth and Thea.
I highly recommend Active Driving school - Thea is very knowledgeable on the process of going from learner's permit to drive test and was great at communicating upcoming appointments and what we needed for the DMV. My son had Ryan as his instructor and he said Ryan was very calm, patient, and clesr with his instructions. He felt totally at ease and ready for his driver's test, which he passed on his first try. Thank you Active Driving for providing a great service for this major life milestone!
Hands down, the best driving school in the entirety of the Inland Empire. I had Ryan as my instructor for most of my driving sessions, and he keeps you calm, collected, and confident throughout each drive. He teaches you only what's necessary to be a successful driver and gives you extremely helpful tips. They're also very flexible with lesson scheduling and will adapt to your needs. Overall, I have this school and the instructor(s) to thank for helping me pass my DMV exam with only 5 mistakes out of 15, first try. Would definitely recommend this place to any student driver.

Absolutely the best driving school in Queens! From the moment I signed up, everything was smooth and professional. The staff is super friendly, patient, and genuinely cares about helping you become a confident driver. My instructor explained everything clearly and made sure I felt comfortable behind the wheel, never rushed, always encouraging. Scheduling lessons was easy, prices were fair, and the car was clean and well kept every time. Thanks to their guidance, I passed my road test on the first try! If you’re serious about learning to drive the right way, this is the school to go to. Couldn’t recommend it more! 🚗💨

Juan is rude and unprofessional. He can improve on listening and not condescending or speaking over others. His behind-the-wheel explanation is very confusing, and after reading other reviews, I am relieved that I am not the only one who experienced his rude behavior. I hope my review will encourage him to take some accountability and improve.
Thank you do much. I passed my behind the wheels exam. I got my DL already. I did my Driving Lesson last January 2017 and i took my Behind the Wheels Feb. 14, 2017. Thanks you so much Instructor Susan. 😁😀
