My son had the best experience with Millers Driving Academy. Greg is very professional, patient, kind and a great instructor. During each lesson and after they always gave our son positive feedback of his progress and how he was doing and what he needed to work on. He passed his driving test and we are so thankful. Can't recommend them enough!!
Muchas gracias .
Thank you to Miller's Driving Academy!!! After going to other companies, my son failed three times. I texted Greg and he was so accommodating. He got us in the day before his fourth attempt. He gave my son the information, skills and confidence he needed to finally PASS. He only missed one and it was a very minor error. I am so grateful as a lot of his struggle was due to anxiety and confidence. Each time he failed, his confidence decreased and his anxiety increased . Thank you for building him back up and giving him the confidence he needed to believe in himself.
Greg, of Millers Driving Academy (Oceanside), is an extremely professional USMC Vet, who should be every military family’s first choice! He is an amazingly patient and down-to-earth instructor, who made my nervous-test-taking teenager feel comfortable and confident throughout all three California-mandated driving courses. The experience was so outstanding, we decided to hire him for the “1hr Lesson + DMV Test in Driving School Vehicle” option. My son was 100% test ready after running through the exam route with him! He passed on his first attempt and was one point shy of a perfect score! Will be recommending his services to everyone!
Superb driving instructor - Greg prepared our son so well for his test and passed with zero errors! Extremely friendly and engaging and puts the student at ease - knows the DMV routes and offers lots of great advice. Highly recommend Greg.

Their program is excellent. All three of my kids went through AAA and I couldn't be happier. My third child just completed her lessons and passed her test on the first try. Thank you Brian!
I highly recommend the AAA driving school! I have used them twice with my teenage boys. The instructors are friendly, knowledgeable and made my boys feel comfortable while driving. I also really like that you can self schedule and the ease of using the online student portal. I highly recommend purchasing the 10 hour in car lesson package, especially for teenage boys!

Apparently these 160 schools go through "phases." Winton is still there, he is indeed great (make sense, cool beans!) but unfortunately they just need more instructors and trucks for the volume of students they have now. The branch managers get fat commissions on enrollments which is just bad because they are incentivized to be sales people more than managers. You never see them at the yard even when they are having problems like I and other students experienced. Many 160 students end up at the school I'm at now where you get an hour every day on skills compared to 10 minutes at 160. And with a lack of curriculum and a yard with too few trucks, half of which break down at DMV or fail pre-trip inspection in the yard you're really better off looking elsewhere if you're looking for a good trucking school. I don't like leaving bad reviews but for $5k this place will send you to fail and leave you hanging. Also they have contracts with certain companies which precludes you from getting hired 60 days after graduation. And their job search app and connections are non-existent so they won't do anything to help you find employment. Sorry 160 but you need to take better care of your responsibilities and your students because the whole experience was just rancid.
Richard is the best instructor and helped me get my license. Brandi knows what she is doing and gave me the necessary information to achieve my goal. They are great people, friendly and outgoing. I would recommend anyone trying to get a commercial license to come to this school!!
Bad service, many students, only two trucks working ,you don't get enough hands-on skills, driving ,you spend your whole day doing nothing, they don't fix their trucks ,they trucks fail DMV inspections, and students fail because they lack enough training, instructors are good specifically Winton . Corporations' lack of equipment and solving their problems,I had a bad experience there
Bad place for training I never recommend anyone Office manager is very bad lady
Juan, Winton, Daniel, Richard, Jaime, and Paul all have their unique way of teaching. Having a variety instructors will help find the one that works best for your style of learning and work with you 1 on 1 so that you feel prepared come time for your test! Manual or automatic, no matter what you choose, they will have you covered and help you get it done over there. You won’t regret coming to 160 San Diego!!!
