They have been amazingly helpful and helped me get my license despite of my initial anxiety with driving. They have great instructors who can give calm and direct instruction. I have already recommended them to friends and will continue to do so. If they can teach me to be a safe driver I believe they can teach anyone who is patient and open to learning. This has been a huge part of my life and moving forward and I am entirely grateful for this experience. Thank you again Richard for all the time you have put in molding me into a better driver!

I highly recommend both Premier driving school and specifically Richard. I feel like Richard is one of the people that found what it is they were meant to do - which is to teach. Apart from being a very nice, calm, and considering instructor, he made sure to always share his knowledge with me. Even as an experienced driver, I feel like each time with Richard was accompanied with tips that were worth their weight in gold, and were definitely the main reason I passed my driving test on the first attempt. I undoubtedly recommend Richard to any driver with any level of experience.

I highly recommend Premier Driving School, I have nothing but good things to say. Richard was professional, friendly, and effective at helping me over come my driving anxiety and finally get my license as an adult driver. The lessons themselves were great, and Premier Driving School even helped me with the test itself. I passed on my first try, and felt like I was very prepared.

My daughter and I had a great experience with Premier Driving School. We called to set up driving lessons and Michelle was on top of things. She was very friendly and helpful. The driving instructor was Richard. He was very patient with my daughter. I was also able to ride along to see her skills and check out the instructor. It was great. The other two sessions she did alone and spoke highly of Richard after each session. We were sent reminders to schedule our last session as dates as times were filling up for summer. I totally forgot to make the appointment due to a family emergency. When we called to make appointment the dates we needed were booked. We were in panic mode but Richard called and said he would squeeze us in for the following day. My daughter took her behind the wheel test and passed the first try. I would defiantly recommend this school. Thanks Richard and Michelle!!!

Wonderful driving school for your teens. Richard is wonderful and attentive, and guided my kids to getting a license professionally and patiently. We always get a reminder to schedule the next class ahead of time, and they are very accommodative. Needless to say my children got their license in their 1st driving test.

I was really happy with this school. I drove with Eric and he was a great instructor. He was patient and he explains everything very clearly . When I had trouble finding a car for my driving test, they schedueled an appointment for me outside of their scheduel so I could make the test. For the test I drove with Ella and she was also great all the way through. Thank you for making me pass on my first try.

The learning experience was really good. I have driven car in India, but was not confident of driving one in the US. Alex gave me such detailed instructions and guided throughout the lesson. I am now totally confident in driving a car on my own. He let me drive in residential areas, business district, highways, freeway. The 2 hr duration is apt for revising rules, and before giving DMV test. Plus it's pocket friendly as compared to other driving schools and I got the appointment for the same day. So it's a win-win.

I had a great experience with this school. They are very flexible with lesson hours. Furthermore, the instructor (Alex) was excellent: patient and very knowledgeable.

Poor quality of sessions!

Alan really prepared me for my test and emphasized how important it is to exaggerate checking your blind spots on the test. He also perfected my straight line backing that was crucial for the test as well. I just passed my test and it felt like a breeze thanks to Alan.

Alan is ok to a bad teacher when he was teaching during our lessons. Our first lesson, I didn’t know how to start/move/ turn the car, and he scoffed at me. Alan made me feel like I was in the wrong for doing everything horrible since It was my first time driving?? When I asked Alan questions, he alway give me a odd answer and proceeded to scoff at my driving lesson. To mention that during our 2 lessons, I didn’t know much about driving an car. So I didn’t understand why he would be petty or mad in silence, sometimes he passive aggressive yelled at me..? I didn’t understand an single thing during the two lessons, I didn’t learn as much nor. I was paying $500 ish for two 3 hour lessons from Alan, $500 is a lot to spend on 6 hour certification paper, and Alan wasn’t the best teacher to teach me driving. I believed that you could find someone better and the price slight by better for your time and 6 hour paper certificates since Alan would cut our lessons by 5-10 mins!

I am an expat to US. Alan helped me to improve my driving skills in short time and trained me to obtain DMV license within a month. Great tutor and never yelled at student when they make mistakes. Train them to learn their mistakes.. Thanks Alan..

Alan is an amazing instructor, and I can’t recommend him highly enough for anyone who needs to learn how to drive. He is probably the best instructor in the Bay Area, and he will get you confidently driving in no time! I did 9 lessons with Alan over a period of 1 month, and he took me from being not very confident (after trying out three lessons a different instructor) to passing my test and driving well on the freeway! This was done with zero practice in between lessons. Alan is extremely professional, is always on time, and delivers same day feedback. He also tailors his teaching style to the student’s learning style, and is keen on understanding his students’ thought process if mistakes are made, so they can be properly fixed. For every single weakness I had in my driving, Alan had a strategy to fix it - this included fixing my turning speed, correctly using my mirrors, lane positioning and keeping the wheel straight. He is adept at observing to see exactly what the student is doing wrong and coming up with a formula to correct it. Additionally, he is extremely professional. He was always punctual and polite, never raised his voice and never did anything that diminished my confidence in any way as a student who was initially struggling. I have always had some anxiety about driving, but I actually looked forward to my lessons because I started to enjoy driving as I could feel myself improving. On the day of the lesson, he made sure that I was confident and encouraged me not to feel anxious, and I was happy to pass on my first try. Scheduling is also easy on the website, and the response rate is fast. If you need to learn how to drive, you can’t go wrong with Alan at Perfect Score! (Copying over my review from yelp because I know the struggle of finding a great instructor and Perfect Score was amazing!)

I started Perfect Score Driving School lessons after failing the road test. I did the 6 hour package. The lessons were very helpful for understanding the areas I had weaknesses. He has a strong knowledge of the CA Driver's Handbook, so whenever he gave feedback on my driving he was able to point to the exact lines of the handbook that were relevant. After my lessons he would send me written assessments of my driving from that day. I found his level of detail to be what I personally needed to finally pass the test.
