Great class! Moves through quickly while still teaching very well. I had extremely little experience with motorcycles yet had so much more confidence even after one day. My instructor was Terry Lee. He was an absolutely amazing teacher who is very skilled with motorcycles and keeps the class fun! Couldn’t recommend more
I had a great experience taking this motorcycle course! The instructor, Terry Lee, was amazing, he struck the perfect balance between being serious when it mattered and keeping things light with a great sense of humor. He made the environment feel welcoming and positive from the start, which really helped ease any nerves. What stood out most was how encouraging and patient he was, especially with those who were struggling. He never made anyone feel out of place or left behind. I came into this course as a brand new rider, and I walked away feeling confident, safe, and like I gained a vast amount of knowledge. Highly recommend this course to anyone looking to get started on two wheels!
Phenomenal course, very educational and helpful for anyone starting to get into riding motorcycles. Terry was a great instructor, very patient, funny and helpful. Highly recommend this course. 10/10
Terry is -the man- you want to learn from! He is very professional, keeps the class fun despite lots of material and technical details to cover, and is an all-around good guy. Don't hesitate to take this class from him- I had no prior experience other than bicycling and now feel prepared to continue my journey of motorcycling in a safe and effective way. Terry prepares you well and he really cares about your progress. Thank you and hope to see you riding around FoCo!
I just completed the Basic Rider Course last weekend and felt very safe and comfortable with my instructor, Terry. I had never ridden a motorcycle before and Terry had incredible patience as he explained each exercise (sometimes over and over!) so that the class understood what to do. Terry’s sense of humor also kept things light which was helpful for a new, anxious rider like me! This course was fun and informative and great for learning basic skills. I feel much more prepared to start riding because of what I learned, and would recommend that all new (and even some experienced) riders sign up. Thanks Terry & Abate of CO!

I attended NCTDA and I can attest they are the best truck driving school in NOCO. Trainers are very professional, patient and willing to spend time with students until the student is able to complete every single maneuver. They equip students with as many scenarios as possible to prepare you for the actual world of truck driving . Look out for Rick , Dave , Ken and Dan when you attend your course . They are super helpful and are the best trainers out there .
Just completed this course 11/18. And I will say hands down the best experience. From the classroom to the driving range , I was very impressed with all of the instructors. If you are looking to get a Class A CDL this is the place you want to go! You are taught right away about the importance of pre trips and logs, which in the real world will make you a way better driver. I loved the fact that we got a total of 9hrs of real drive time. I did my drives with Travis and kyle , and both of these guys are top notch instructors, taught me so much about being on the road and how to be safe and efficient. In the classroom nick killed it. I couldn’t ask for a better engaging classroom instructor. You get PLENTY of time to practice all backing maneuvers in the yard and I loved that. This course shows you the basics and more. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a class A! And thanks guys!
attended class in 2022 I am glad I attended this school besides one closer to my home. They will help you achieve cdl without any restrictions.. and teach you to be a better/safer driver I work for myself now doing hotshot but have cdl for when I go over 26k lbs The owner is a humble person and very understanding Thank you NCTDC
As a student, I had no CDL experience and the instructors have gone above and beyond to chisel away at my stress and anxiety about driving. The instructors have been supportive and provided lessons that keep building on each other where now I have confidence in taking my upcoming test. It is amazing to watch how all of us students came into the class with different struggles and how the instructors customized the lessons and worked with each student to help us overcome those struggles. The environment has been fun loving, enjoyable, everyone elevates each other but yet serious enough to equip each of us with tools for success. I test soon but I know that NCTDA has prepared me for success and the test is all on me now. —Sheddy
Thanks to the whole staff for meeting us on a professional level and helping us very well! Special thanks to Rhonda and Janice!! God is awesome!

this class was great! i did the 32 hour classroom portion and i feel prepared!! people were kind and respectful and just an easy learning environment. mr fiene was such a great teacher, hope anyone coming soon gets him!! loved his plaid pants btw
I drove with Laurel Perry and she is just amazing. Not only does she help you so much in learning how to drive but she takes part in talking about your interests and her own. One of the kindest people I’ve ever met, I loved it and she made me enjoy driving. My only complaint about Mountain State was the fact that when I was taking online classes, I COUDNT take it for 2 weeks near the end because they forgot to pay the online bills, so the website that was doing said online classes, was up for sale for 2 weeks and because of this, I was unable to take the classes for 2 weeks resulting in me having to wait an extra 2 weeks to get my license.
My daughter took the driver's education course and wasn't excited about the 6 hours of on the road driving instruction. He instructor, Laurel put her at ease the first session and she was happy to continue with her for the next two sessions. Laurel even got her through her day on snowy roads. Thank you for your professional instruction. We'll be back with our son.
If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would — but unfortunately, the app won't let me rate any higher. Two days of lessons with this instructor have already made a huge difference in how I see driving, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Even though I’ve only just started learning with him, it’s already clear that he’s on another level when it comes to both knowledge and teaching style. He doesn’t just focus on the basics or simply getting you to pass a test — he goes far beyond that. He ties everything back to real-life situations, showing how driving is more than just operating a car — it's about awareness, responsibility, and understanding the world around you. Every lesson feels practical and meaningful. He explains the "why" behind every maneuver, every rule, and every observation you need to make as a driver. That kind of insight doesn’t just help you memorize things — it helps you truly understand them. I’ve already learned so many things that I know will stick with me, not just for the test but for life. His teaching style is calm, patient, and encouraging. He meets you where you are and builds your confidence without ever making you feel rushed or judged. You can tell he genuinely cares about making sure you're not just a competent driver, but a safe and smart one too. I honestly can't recommend him enough. If you want someone who goes beyond the textbook and helps you become a real driver, not just someone who can pass an exam, this is the instructor you need. It’s only been two days, but I already feel more prepared and more confident — and that’s entirely because of how he teaches.
I was a student with Mike for all 3 lessons, and I had a wonderful experience. The first half of the first lesson was a bit slow but after bonding over a love of movies it was a very enjoyable time.

Great driving school that provides more than "the basics". Daughter took the 2-day driving course and is better prepared for avoiding collisions and handling her car on slick/unknown surfaces. She took the 30-hour course online and it was much more detailed than your basic driver's education class, giving her real-world scenarios and a lot of videos to learn from!
I've had 2 teenagers complete the online classes and do driving tests. Classes are easy to access and track progress. Driving instructors help build confidence by meeting students where they're at. My kids had a lot of experience but others had basically none. It was fun to see how good they all felt at the end.
