I had a fantastic experience with my driving instructor, Tesfu, who instilled complete confidence in me from day one! He was incredibly patient, explained maneuvers clearly, and always adapted to my learning style. Thanks to his expert guidance, I passed my test with ease and now feel like a safe and competent driver on the road. I highly recommend Tesfu Driving School to anyone in Maryland and DC.
Tesfu DC driving school is the best! I was really nervous at first, but they made me feel calm and capable from day one. They explain everything clearly and always encourage you to improve. Highly recommended.
Tesfu DC Driving School is a wonderful choice. I was a relapsed driver, and decided to try this school. Got my learner's permit and signed up for 4 hours of road practice with them. Both Rasul and Isaiah were great instructors and helped me hone my parallel parking as well. Rasul even came to assist me during my actual road practice, which I passed on my first try. Definitely pick this school!
Tesfaye is a great driving instructor. He simplified the whole MVA process and kept reassuring me. Just a few hours of coaching me on the required skills helped me pass my test smoothly today. To crown it all, he is very friendly and funny. Thank you for helping me achieve this stride.
I am very pleased with my experience at Tesfu driving school. The instructors and staff were extremely supportive, patient, and helpful throughout the entire process. They created a positive learning environment, always willing to answer questions and provide clear guidance. Their professionalism and dedication made me feel comfortable and confident while learning. I truly appreciate their excellent service and highly recommend this school to anyone looking for a reliable and supportive place to learn driving skills.

I recently took driving lessons from Gmel driving academy after a not so great experience with another driving school. And, I had a great experience with Gmel driving academy and the instructor Gilbert in particular. Gilbert prepared me for my driving test within only 6 hours and I was able to pass my road test on first attempt. He is very effective at what he does; his approach is very methodical and calm. I really liked the fact that he quickly picked up on my weaknesses and provided specific suggestions to improve them. He is also very professional, friendly and punctual; definite pluses. I highly recommend Gmel driving academy!
I want to share my experience, after having taken 5 classes with another school, and the instructor who had no patience at all, I arrived at Mr. Gilbert, with him I took 4 classes of 2 hours and they were enough for me to feel calm during my road test exam. , it helped me a lot to feel calm, and to be ready for my exam, your patience and your persistence in helping your students learn is amazing, you are a great instructor, and today I can say thank you Mr. Gilbert, today I have my license thanks to you!!
Gilbert helped me pass the exam by teaching me tips on parallel parking! I had a class with him a few days before my exam, during a time when the snow in DC was really coming down. Despite this, Gilbert was very patient and gave me good tips on how to parallel park. I was very glad to pass! Even more, he saw me the day I passed my exam and congratulated me! I highly recommend taking a class with Gilbert! You will definitely learn a lot from a patient and kind teacher!
Gmel was absolutely amazing, very professional and a wonderful person. I took 2 refresher lessons with him and passed my road test yesterday. He thought me a lot a great tips to ace the parallel parking and gave me the boost of confidence I needed to overcome the fear of the test. Highly recommended!!
Gilbert taught me the wrongs and rights of driving, he ensured I was prepared to take my driving exam and I passed it on the first try! Although he sometimes became frustrated when I made rookie mistakes, I was able to learn from those mistakes and became a confident driver. Very understanding and makes sure his student succeeds. I've had other instructors from different driving schools who often yelled at me and made me nervous but I didn't experience that nervousness and level of disrespect with Gilbert. Totally recommend!!

Michael was a great instructor. Very calm & clear instructor, gives clear directions & explains rules and steps very thoroughly. Thank you so much Michael & CAS Driving School!
I knew left lane driving beforehand but I took 2 lessons with James and did a 45 minute practice session with Mr. Smith before the test. I got my driving license without a problem and Mr. Smit was particularly very nice and we chatted while we were practicing. Also, the lady on the phone support was very helpful in helping me book. Definitely recommend it to anyone thinking of contacting them.
Took driving lessons and road skills test with CAS, it’s easy to book time via the app. Don’t hesitate to call them if you need to move an appointment or would like to find a possible late booking and they sometimes can accommodate. I’d like to particularly call out and thank MM. Morrison and Smith for helping me with the lessons, and Ms. Arica for finding me bookings in a busy calendar!
Best ever third party I took my road test with CAS Driving School, and it was a great experience. I was nervous because I failed previously. But he made me feel comfortable. I greatly appreciate his ability to put me at ease during my Road test. I passed Highly recommend
I recently took a 3rd party road test with CAS Driving School and thoroughly enjoyed the process. I was greeted with professionalism and kindness upon meeting my instructor, Charles Smith, the owner. He handled all the paper work and getting everything ready before my test. We drove around for the test and it was an enjoyable and relaxing environment. He was a great instructor and definitely worth the money! Thank you CAS Driving School! Great business.

I had my road test with Jean on 06/25/2022. Jean was prompt (even when I made the appointment late), gave clear explanations for how the parallel parking segment would be scored, and gave good attention to the moves I was making as a driver. I appreciated Jean’s last minute flexibility and attentiveness as an examiner!
After switching from DC star driving school because of bad experience with Mr.ish I’ve came to dexterity driving school and Jose was the best instructor I’ve had. Within a week he taught me everything and I was able to get my license
I had a blast learning with Mr. Jules! He appeases to all learning styles. He isn't aggressive, the atmosphere in the car is perfect for anyone who is nervous about driving. I can parrell park into any space thanks to him! He's a great instructor, I can't wait to learn how to drive clutch!
I had behind-the-wheel sessions with Jules. Each session was informative, productive, and in a supportive atmosphere. I progressed from zero level to passing a driving test on the first try! Thank you, Jules! And I enjoyed speaking to a person on the phone. Each time I called he was polite and ready to answer any question.
The person i mostly communicated with was named Jules. He overcharged for DC driving test and wasn’t very friendly during the test itself. He seemed like he was in a rush and was quick to take my money as well with very little concern about whether I pass or fail.
