I went through their CDL program and got my license on the first try. The instructors were super helpful and really wanted to see you succeed. It’s a fast-paced course, but if you show up and put in the work, you’ll learn everything you need.
Great experience great program. I learned so much about the industry the licensing process and the truck itself. The instructors were very informative and helpful. Miss Nikki was my favorite! She was my classroom instructor. Miss Nikki is very supportive she made the experience better. Miss Nikki kept an open line of communication and shared her journey with us. Miss Nikki’s trucking journey was an inspiration for me! I give this school five stars.
Thank yall for helping me change my life. Ms. Nikki, AJ, Ben and Bob opened my eyes to a lot during my three weeks. They give you all the tools you need to succeed and help you with anything but if your not hungry you may encounter some issues. Everybody is so helpful and I met some amazing classmates who i'll always be in contact with. Proud Alumni 🙌🏽
Highly recommend coming here if you’re trying to get your CDL! The instructors are very good at telling you how to do something, and demonstrating each and every step of the way. Miss Nikki was an amazing inside school instructor and will get you to pass without a doubt. She’s very thorough with every lesson she gives, and knows how to make the class fun and entertaining as you learn. 10/10, would definitely recommend!
Brad & Cheryl are amazing owners. They will do everything they can to accommodate you and make sure you get every opportunity to pass. The teacher's are real down to earth and will show you every tip and trick they know. Key, Gerry,Bopo are some of the best teachers ive ever had.

I am very happy and grateful for all the support and dedication of the school, all the instructors... very professional and dedicated to helping students graduate... I recommend with all my heart being part of this school and overcoming every difficulty in our lives... THANK YOU VERY MUCH😊
I had a largely positive experience at the CDL Training of Tampa LLC. The instructors demonstrated both extensive knowledge and a genuine commitment to student success, fostering a supportive learning environment. The trucks were well-maintained, and the school offered a flexible schedule, which greatly accommodated my needs. Based on these factors, I confidently give the school the five stars it deserves. That being said, my experience was unfortunately marred by an incident seconds before my final test involving a staff member in the office. I was subjected to unprofessional and inappropriate treatment when this individual directed profanity toward me in front of other students, unjustly accusing me of slamming a door. This behavior was not only unwarranted but also unbefitting of a professional educational institution. Despite this regrettable encounter, I still recognize the school’s overall strengths and commend the instructors for their dedication. However, I hope that management addresses such conduct to ensure a consistently respectful and professional atmosphere for all students.

My experience with CFI was great! Was able to pass the test on the first try.Ms. Cheryl and Brad were accommodating. Worked with me with and my hectic schedule. If you are lucky enough to have Gerry as an instructor, then you are almost guaranteed to pass the first time. Thanks for the experience.
Amazing Experience! I want to thank the entire school team for their professionalism, patience, and dedication throughout my CDL A training. The classes were very well organized, and the instructors were always available and truly cared about helping each student learn the right way. I learned so much — both in the classroom and behind the wheel — and I passed my exam on the first try! I 100% recommend this school to anyone who wants to start a professional driving career. Thank you all for helping me achieve this dream!
This school and the instructors set you up for success ! They were able to accommodate my busy work schedule and get all my classes setup on my days off. The instructors are all very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Kenny and Randy were my two instructors throughout my time and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience and knowledge I gained from both of them. They are good at finding what area(‘s) you need work on and they have the patience to continuously go over that area(‘s) until you master it. With the knowledge and experience I received in the training yard and on the road with my instructors I was able to pass all three required test portions on the first try! The classes are very affordable, the equipment they have is the exact same equipment you will be using to take the test at the testing facility so you are already comfortable and won’t have to get used to something new on test day. I would 100% recommend this school to anyone trying to obtain their Class A CDL.
This is the worse truck driving school in Tampa. For starters there is 0 classroom training. In fact the little classroom within the trailer wouldn't even fit 10 people if it wanted to. The lady at the front desk Leann is veryyyy disrespectful and she not only talks to the employees bad but the paying customers as well. The large guy that's an instructor has horrible body odor almost unbearable to train with him next to you in the truck. Kyrie and Gerry are the best trainers they have. Unfortunately it's hard to get seat time with them due to trucks breaking down daily and the amount of new students they have coming in. This place just wants your money, they could careless their success rate of students passing. I failed 2x with them due to lack of training and horrible training methods. If you pick weekends only YOU ARE DOOMED! It's too fast of a class you will be teaching yourself they bascially are just allowing you to use their trucks. The second time I failed a guy on the yard at the location where you take the exam told me he had witnessed soo many fails from CFI that week alone it was a shame. The lot where you train needs to be repaved it's full of potholes. I see they now have pics with students completing the program POST PICS OF STUDENTS WHO HAVE GOTTEN THEIR CDL & PASSED THE EXAM AFTER YOUR TRAINING LOL. I wasted $3500 with CFI WHAT A JOKE!! I enrolled elsewhere in Tampa and passed the 1st time due to efficient training, seat time and proper classroom training.
Great place to get your CDL! No working contracts, all ONE ON ONE, manual transmission and low cost! Got my CDL first try thanks to the awesome instructors and started a hotshot business! Couldn't be happier

Great professionalism! They made everything easy for me to get my drivers license. Detailed oriented and they make sure you are ready for your road test. 10/10 recommendations from me, I would refer anyone to go to west road safety school! Also Jeanette is very punctual, great customer service and very nice makes everything smooth as possible!
All 6 lessons that Mr. Coriano administered were clear, the lessons were simple to follow and I was able to learn all the information I needed to pass my test at a fast rate. All the information I was told we practiced multiple times each lesson to make sure I understood everything and I was able to pass my test on the 1st try. Thank you Mr. Coriano.
Highly recommend these guys! My driving instructor was so helpful. I came to WestRoad as an already experienced driver but they really helped prepare me properly for my road test and I passed first try! Jeanette was also the kindest woman and even reached out to me on her off day just to help schedule my test in a timely manner. 10/10!
Awesome instructor! Felix is patient, knowledgeable and fun. He has good reflexes and can cover the stupid mistakes I make. I can see his calendar on the web site and schedule the classes which is extremely convenient for nerds like me. I had an emergency and needed to cancel one of the class. I felt so bad because I already blocked his time and wanted to cancel it at the last minute when he came to pick me up. He is such a good soul, he rescheduled it without complaining. I highly recommend him!!!
I am French. I am on holiday in Tampa. I wanted to rent a car but didn’t feel very confident in driving here. So I drove some Hours with West Safety School before renting. Alejandra, the lady I’ve been talking to on the phone several times is very nice and understanding. Félix, the School Driver made me feel very confortable, he is very patient, gives clear instructions and has also a great sense of humor. Now I have rented a car and I feel very safe. The fees may be somehow higher than some other schools but the service is perfect. So don’t hesitate. You will not be disappointed.

Do not be buffalo'd by all of the high reviews like I was! I should have known not to use this company when I had to reach out multiple times and leave multiple messages including voice mail and texting without response. Finally Sat got back to me and made excuses for the delay which I accepted. I wanted to book lessons for my son. Well he scheduled several dates and times to give lessons to my son. The very first lesson he never showed up for and when my son called and texted him, he said he never had a record of that one??? Then he canceled the next lesson (day of) saying he wasn't feeling well. (strike 2). Then he was supposed to be giving him a lesson today and only reached out to cancel the lesson 20 minutes AFTER it was supposed to start (strike 3). Totally unreliable. I do not recommend Sat or his company. In addition, after he saw this review, Sat tried to get me to take it down. Then I realized after researching further that the name of the school was changed due to the poor reviews, used to be SS Driving school and the reviews on YELP are much more indicative of what we experienced. I do not appreciate it, if they did a change like that to keep people from seeing the truthful reviews. It makes me question all of the FIVE STAR Google reviews coming from people with only 1-4 prior reviews, looks suspicious!!! I do not appreciate dishonesty.
Was taught about the driving rules and regulations from Satyam the proprietor. Had no issues in clearing the road test.
Sat is an excellent driving instructor. He really took the time to ensure I understood and applied the right techniques for both driving and parking. The whole experience was incredibly calming, I wasn’t nervous at all. Thanks to his clear guidance and support, I passed my test with flying colors. I highly recommend J.S. Driving School!
Satyam is a really sweet instructor and he helped me a lot to make me feel confident! The car was in good condition. He gave me great tips and helped me pass the test. Would recommend him to anyone who feels a bit nervous and doubtful while driving. Cheers!
Sat was very helpful and insightful. Helped me learn what I need to know for the road test, be prepared for it, and know how to drive on main roads and highway.

This place is fantastic! I’ve had a great experience for my daughter. Love the supplemental lessons and how they are making her feel so comfortable on the road. Huge shout out to Colleen and John!! They’ve been amazing.
We highly recommend Auto Safety Driving school. Our daughter mainly drove with Colleen and Billy (one occasion Doug) and they were all wonderful. They were very patient and kind and kept us informed of where they were going and what they did. We used the concierge service for the driver's test and Colleen kept my daughter at ease and was a great calming influence. Big thanks to all of the instructors as well. Will definitely use them again when our son turns the driving age!
I am so glad we found Auto Safety Driving School. This was such a fantastic experience for our son and for us as parents! The instructors are so patient and truly care about teaching new drivers. They even offer a service to accompany the student to the DMV on test day. This allowed our son to learn in a comfortable and safe environment (without anxious parents in the backseat!). Thank you Colleen, Billy, John, Jim and Sara! It does take a village!
Best money ever spent. All the instructors were fantastic - Colleen especially!! I appreciate the detailed report after each lesson. Having him use their car for the actual DMV test was a game changer.
A Huge Thank You to Auto Safety Driving School! 🌟 I’m incredibly happy with my experience at Auto Safety Driving School in Tampa. From the very first lesson, their team made me feel supported, confident, and prepared. The instructors were patient, professional, and genuinely invested in helping me succeed—not just pass a test. What really stood out was how encouraging and positive everyone was, creating an environment that helped ease any nerves and build real driving skills. Their guidance helped me not only pass my DMV road test, but enjoy the entire learning journey. I’m deeply grateful for their commitment to excellence. If anyone’s looking for a school that truly cares, this is it!

Roadmaster Drivers Schhol in Tampa, Fl was an amazing experience, the whole staff from the inside of the building and the outside was exceptional. The school is ran like a well oiled machine. Much respect to J.D. and his team!
I had a great experience with Road Master Driving School! The instructors were patient, professional, and very knowledgeable. They made me feel comfortable behind the wheel and gave me clear guidance every step of the way. Scheduling lessons was easy and flexible, and I felt well-prepared for my road test. I passed on my first try thanks to their help! Highly recommend Road Master to anyone learning to drive.
Mr JD and staff at Roadmasters was great! Everyone was very respectful and helpful to say the least, they give you all the tools you need to succeed and take the next step towards your new career, 0 COMPLAINTS!
Mr.JD was amazing on the teaching of the pti, he runs this facility like a well oiled machine. He`s professional when at all times and cool when it is needed. I really enjoyed being under he, I felt safe knowing that if I needed him, he was available. Thank Mr.JD Mr. Telby by far is the the coolest calmest instructor I have ever had, he was patient, understanding, and heard me when I stoke then met my need. I greatly appreciate him, his kindness, patience, longsuffering, and joy. Thank you for this amazing experience.
This Roadmaster at Tampa is amazing, one thing for sure about the manager J.D Yannotti he won’t give up on you and will provide all help you need to get straight. If I have recommended 2 perfect instructors for backing maneuvers and everything else, and get perfect advice from I’ll 100% recommend Mister Rafael and Steeve and Mister John they’re not playing around when it comes to get you straight with it, instructor John best choice for your road drive if you listen to them there’s no way you’ll not come out without your CDL, and Rafael have a great spot in my heart cause man this instructor is just special with everything he does, and got your back when you want to give up, he won’t give up on you in any form of way. Jonathan is very calm in over the road too, I had a nice experience with him. All of them are good but theses were my best choices. I’m very thankful

Juan is a professional, responsible and friendly instructor. He not only teaches you to pass the test, but also helps you become a real professional truck driver. He is the best driving and teaching instructor I have ever met.
A wonderful school. The instructors know there stuff and are always willing to work with the students and are very friendly. I love the fact even though I couldn't come every day there was no pressure but good focus for preparing me for the road. I would recommend this school to anyone for their CDL Class A or B.
It is a very good school to obtain your CDL license and thus start a new life change. I am eternally grateful to the instructors (Damaris - Juan). I can say that more than a school, you will feel like family.
I received a 5-day refresh test from the school and I was very happy. The instructors are very helpful and always understanding and friendly. Definitely a place to be preferred. The price is much better than your counterparts and you can adjust your schedule to yourself very flexible. Teacher Juan is very kind and helpful. I took 3 hour private lesson from Instructor Juan and I learned a lot from him. Thank You guys.
I got my Class A at this school. It was an amazing experience. The best school with the best price outthere. Juan, Cal and Wilson were my instructor. They are very nice, friendly and always find the way to help you out with any questions during training. Their Pre Trip Inspection is short and very easy to study. Highly recommend this school if you are looking to get your CDL 😁😁😁.

Great learning experience and good quality material. Excelent logistic to register, complete and report the course to the insurance company.
Comedy Traffic School is no laughing matter.. DON"T TAKE THIS COURSE. Two tickets to the Improv upon completion of the course.. Sounds too good to be true? Well it is, because guess what? You'll never complete the course! After 4+ hours of work, the timer said I only completed an hour, then after finally chatting with customer service they fixed the glitch by telling me to close the old browser and open up a new one i did that and then they sent me to the page to take the test, after completing the test the automated system refused to grade my test, saying that I had another browser open which i did not. they wanted me to take the test again and again dude to a glitch on their side, on top of that after demanding my refund they still havent posted it to my account after a week even though they said it would be there in days.
The course was an easy read with test questions at the end of each module and the final test at the end. The price was well worth it and the results are sent directly to the insurance company which is a big plus!! Will definitely use this site again when the need arises. Thank you Improv!!!
Easy and kind of fun to do. It took a while to complete the course (about 4 hours), and I saved a whopping $6.74/6 months on my car insurance, but it cost me $16.00 to take the course. I can recoup the cost in just 18 months! (s)
The online course was very easy and user-friendly, it was fun and it saved me money on my insurance. I had my parents do it also and they loved it too.

Hands down the best instructors and examiners I've had. I have to give a BIG THANKS to James (the lead instructor), as well as the other instructors at the school for teaching me everything I need to know to be safe and successful on the road. The main focus is learning the information to obtain your CDL, but they also made it a happy and fun environment, with all the stories and jokes they had. Also can't forget about the examiner Dan O. I was SO nervous to go and take my test, but he really helped me calm down and made me feel really comfortable. If you want to get your CDL, this school is by far the best school to get it from.
I attended this school and successfully passed my CDL test first try. The instructors are awesome and very helpful!!!! They do a great job preparing you for the test and also the road! I highly recommend this school!!!
I stopped by this school last year to get my CDL. Over the past 30 days, I’ve come by more than 10 times, and no one is ever there. It really seems like they’ve closed down and are no longer open. Very disappointing experience.
I had a lot of fun with the instructors and other students. Thank you 160 Academy.
What an amazing journey it was. Truck driving is not easy but with the training, the consistency, and the never give up attitude 160 helped get me through and graduate. This school really changed my life they never gave up on me and they never let me give up on myself. Im excited for the future and the road ahead thank you 160!!!.

Nisha is disrespectful has no knowledge in her job yet has all the attitude to offer. I have absolutely never had an encounter with someone more shallow and disrespectful and uneducated. Asked for her manager and got hung up at when you don’t like your job try getting a different one!!!!!! Idk why people hire such shallow disrespectful beings to run their front desk like are you kidding me ????
I never leave comments anywhere, but I had to say this so people don't come and get bad service, the 2 women at reception are rude and rude, the guy who helps is kind and always tries to get around the situation Of the two ignorant people, if you really want to come, come knowing that you will miss two days of work, why don't they deliver your exam on time, just the next day at noon. In the end, the service was horrible, I think we should be treated well, right, since they don't do it for free.

Imaan was very helpful and reassuring. I had a great time as a first time driver and learned a lot!
WORST SCHOOL EVER! CANCELED MY SONS DRIVING CLASS OVER 6 TIMES ,MINUTES BEFORE HIS CLASS.HE HAD TO MISS SCHOOL AND WORK TO ACCOMODATE THEIR SCHEDULES AND THEN THEY CANCEL ON HIM. VERY UNPROFFESIONAL. WAITING ON MY REFUND FROM THEM WHICH SEEMS TO BE TAKING FOREVER AS WELL, KNOWING THAT THEY ARE TO BLAME. WILL BE CONTACTING THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU NEXT WEEK IF I DO NOT HEAR FROM THIS SCHOOL BY MONDAY.
Possibly SCAM! We booked and confirmed a six hour class with instructor, and paid online (400$). The driver never showed up, the hotline never picked up, their office in Tampa does not exist! We opened an online complaint, emails were answered days later, not taking us serious and pointing to the billing department, then back to the customer support department. Result: we are still waiting for our money. Do not book with these guys, it seems to be a scam!
The lesson was a boost for my son and helped him pass his test. He felt confident and I felt confident!
The driving teacher is knowledgeable about teaching driving. I have learned to drive in the correct way. However, the company needs to do better with communication with the driver students about instructor’s schedule. Overall, the instructor was very helpful and really good teaching.

Their methodical approach to teaching the fundamentals of driving, combined with practical tips and personalized feedback, truly made a difference in my learning experience. (Recommend: Mr. Sardina)
Absolutely GREAT! We hired this company to help with our 16 year old. The website is not the best but just call them and everything becomes very clear. Easy to set up appointments. Always on time. Excellent instruction from Craig !! Highly recommend them as a very professional and quality company. I don't believe that they have a "brick and mortar" location. But it doesn't matter because they come to you! Once you call they will explain how it works... Set up your appointments and then take payment. As long as you don't miss an appointment you would not have an issue. We were comfortable sending our 16 year old out with the instructor. And he taught her very very well !
It was an amazing experience! My teacher -Craig is the most patient person ever! He helped me to feel comfortable and build up my confidence. I would definitely give EZ driving a 5 star review!
I had a great learning experience with this school. The office was very professional and made the scheduling and application process seamless. All of my questions were answered and phone calls/emails returned. The hours were very convenient and flexible. Jorge was a wonderful instructor. He was always prompt, patient and helpful. He took me to the DMV and I passed the road exam first try. Jorge made sure I was completely prepared.I highly recommend this school.
Jorge taught my daughter how to drive!! Saved me from experiencing the trauma :) Thank You Jorge!

yolli helped me in a way i couldn’t imagine with her kindness and patience she helped me pass my test
Empathy, professionalism, and quality are just three of the many positive elements that characterize TB Traffic School’s team, especially examiner Daniela, the best in driving practice, road tests and attentive customer service. There's no better place to live the exciting privilege of driving. 😉😎🚙👌🏻
The instructor is not professional. She is rude.

All of my family members go to this school, lowest rates, very patient, and guarantees a license in 5 lessons, and even if you fail he goes with you for your insurance. He’s very experienced and has been working for 40 years. Won’t disappoint
He is very good instructor and very affordable in whole Tampa. He is very patience with students and provide very knowledge for test preparation. He has 40 years of experience. Has good reputation at DMV also.
Very good and affordable driving school. No contract. Me and my friend had an excellent experience learning from him. He teaches each and every point required for driving test. Passed in the very first attempt. Highly recommend to enroll.
Taught me from scratch. Very friendly and helpful!
Bernard is a very experienced certified instructor. Although I had little experience in driving outside USA he though me several tricks that are suited for safe driving here in US. He takes care of his students very well and is polite most of the times.

Zero notification that class was not being held….. sure, there’s a storm/hurricane, but you did not notify me in anyway shape or form via email phone call or text.
AKA DUI Counterattack Operations: this operation is by the rules; their own rules. Be sure to read everything that he provided to you and miss nothing. Call center help hours are early. They do not answer the phones after 2pm. Evaluations: please be sure to go into these sessions knowing that evaluator is there to provide the system with your answers. The system will then provide a result: required treatment or recommended treatment. Know that if you answer the questions wholeheartedly you WILL be required to attend additional treatment; that comes with a cost. DUI class: excellent instructor; Mr Ivey. He makes the class interesting and worth hear the information. Overall: if you’re here know that you will take with you new knowledge. What you do with it is up to you.
