I had a good experience with this school. My instructor was nice, calm, and gave me helpful tips to fix my driving errors. Although I was nervous to drive at first, the instructor helped me feel better when driving, which I am grateful for.

Overall this driving school is amazing. It is straightforward, you learn everything there is to know and even beyond that. Not only did we all get to learn a lot but the instructor (Mrs. Valentine) makes you feel like you're not just s student. She made the class go by really quickly and I regret not asking more questions about her life because it seemed like she has an interesting life.

I had a great experience throughout my time at Alpha. Santiago was awesome & extremely informative. He definitely directed me in the right direction to get on the right track to learn what I needed to pass the course. I did the 160/hr manual class A course & I couldn’t be happier.

I graduated from Alpha on March 8th. Let me tell you it was no joke. It was raining on my test day and the roads were a bit slippery and the traffic on the road didn’t help either. But with the training I got from Alpha, I was able to handle it and obtain my Class A Manual CDL. School The school I went to was the Elgin location. The facility was kept extremely clean. And the staff there consists of an Instructor (Santiago), AWESOME GUY BTW, and 2-3 receptionists, lovely knowledgeable women. They are there to help you every step of the way in the classroom and also help with financing options. The Training The training consists of 160 hours. 100 hours in class which consists of videos, lectures and training simulators. There you will study your retro packet and your air brakes. YOU MUST LEARN AND MEMORIZE THEM BEFORE YOU MOVE ON TO YOUR YARD TRAINING. 20 hours of observation. Basically you’ll stay outside looking at a truck parked on the side of the yard and using your packet you will need to look around to see the truck, all its parts, and simulate your pre trip and air brake exam. The Instructors Lukas- This guy is no joke. He was with me every step of the way. He’s very tough but also very knowledgeable. He will tell you straight up what you’re lacking and work with you to correct them to make absolutely sure you pass your exam THE FIRST TIME. I did the manual exam and if it wasn’t for his drill Sargent approach to teaching I probably wouldn’t have passed. I owe it to him that I passed my road test. Thanks Lukas. Santiago- This instructor was there on my first trip in the road. Let me tell you I was nervous as all hell in that truck. This instructor is very technique based. I had a million things running through my mind. But he was able to calm those nerves and guide me through the proper procedures to make it back to the yard safely. I even lost gears at an intersection and was able to recover thanks to him. Thanks Santiago. Danny- This guy was hilarious! He was there to teach me a technique when doing my skills that helped me pass my skills portion of the exam. The man has YEEEEEARS of experience and an abundance of knowledge. Also the guy has story’s that’ll knock the fear right out of you. His approach to teaching is very visual and has no problem breaking down your weaknesses. Thanks Dan for all your help man. I just want to say thank you to all the instructors there. I know it wasn’t easy teaching me but thanks to you I’m already on the road and on my way to a very successful and profitable career. (Ps.
