I really appreciate having Jake as my instructor, as he made it clear from the very beginning that there was going to be no pressure on his end, and makes sure his students are as comfortable as possible during the driving sessions. It honestly made the experience so much easier for me. I was on the highway in no time, and pretty much all of my anxieties about driving were gone by the first day, and I had a lot of fun while learning. Give this guy a raise 🤲🤲

I had an instructor named Dave, he is the best teacher I've ever had. He is very thorough, kind and insightful. Definitely recommending him to my friends.

We loved our experience with The Driving School, but especially with his actual Driving Instructor, Misty. She was awesome. She was kind, peaceful, informative , and communicative. Her laid back approach helped to ease the anxiety my son had about getting behind the wheel. She was extremely helpful even after his first instructional lesson, when we went to the DMV to get his permit. She went above and beyond and was willing to help in anyway she could. We highly recommend the school and Misty.

Overall white line is a fantastic school I would recommend anybody that wants to learn how to be a truck driver to go to whiteline. I can't rate them high enough. 5 stars is too low of a rating for this School. Thank you white line.

White line CDL is a class act. Great people to deal with. Its very layed back and yet you learn a lot of stuff. These are not professional teachers. They are truckers that are passing on what they know and learned in real life conditions. Some people learn stuff fast and others not so fast but the extra help is there no matter who you are. What a cool way to spend five weeks and than walk out with a class A CDL. Thanks to all at White line CDL in Topeka ks . Jim Thompson 5-22-13

WhiteLine gives amazing training from all instructors, trainers, owners! They make you feel very welcome and want to see you succeed in your future. They work with you on everything from start to finish. They help you understand anything you might be struggling in. The classroom instructor has to be the best teacher I have ever had. He teaches you in a way you understand, he will also get further into helping people for them to understand. The driver instructors are the best! I was struggling with some maneuvering and James helped me work on it until I got it down. If you’re wanting to get your CDL I highly recommend White Line CDL training, they are amazing people who want to help anyone! Definitely worth the cost.

I had a great experience learning to drive with Tim at Johnny Rowlands Driving School! Tim is an incredibly chill and relaxed instructor, allowing you to learn at your own pace and build confidence behind the wheel. He keeps the mood light with his sense of humor, so there’s no pressure or anxiety when driving with him. What really stood out to me was how accommodating he is. Even though his days off are Monday and Tuesday, he still made time to practice with me because my work schedule didn’t align with the available slots in the online system. This school is also the only certified international driving school in Kansas, making it a great option for international students who speak different languages. If you’re new to the U.S., I highly recommend learning with Tim as he has experience working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds, which makes the learning process even smoother. Overall, an excellent experience, and I highly recommend this school for anyone looking to learn to drive in a stress-free and supportive environment!

Kennedy driving school is a better choice. They come and pick up the teen driver at their home or school. It's very hard when you are a single mother working AND going to school to be able to drop them off. Kennedy is a much better choice!!! Not to mention my child was told they need more practice before their next time out with an instructor. I paid you guys to teach my child so I know they got the best instruction BEFORE they get into my car. Too much money for the inconvenience of them not picking up the student driver and to say she needs more practice when that is your job... Again Kennedy is the best choice and I regret that I did not go with them again.

In response to Angela’s review: There are 2 differences between Kennedy driving school and Johnny Rowland’s: 1. Rowlands is $35 cheaper 2. You have 12 months to complete the course at Rowland’s (6 months at Kennedy). While Kennedy picks up the driver from their home (within the Topeka city limits), Rowland’s is transparent that you must bring your driver to their location for driving instruction. Both school’s offer the same curriculum and hours of 1-on-1 driving time. There is no way your student/child will be able to fully drive, responsibly, after 6 hours of driving instruction. So, in between lessons, there will be items that YOU will need to work on with your young driver. Johnny Rowland’s does an excellent job of providing feedback of what your driver did well, and needs additional practice on. I really appreciate the patience of the driving instructor and candid feedback. I have put in additional driving time, with my son, and it really showed at his second driving instruction. I am a single, working father and I would highly recommend Johnny Rowland’s (and have recommended to several of my friends). My son will complete his last set of driving instruction this weekend and then he will be able to obtain his restricted drivers license. I’m thoroughly impressed with the experience we have had with Johnny Rowland’s.

I saw one of their cars breaking multiple traffic laws north of the river. I'd cut it some slack if a kid was driving, but instead it was a middle aged man, presumably an instructor. If he can't drive properly on his own, he for sure isn't teaching kids to do it properly.

I ran into big problems when I come over to get my daughters permit. If a person has any kind of medical issues they need to get cleared with the state first. Before they can go through the driving school. I was not told that by the school and my daughter could still go through the school. Please make sure from now on that if you get any medical history and make sure they are cleared with the state first. Before they take your class.
