Really easy and the instructors are super chill and understanding. Overall a great experience
I love Mr walker he so patient and I learn a lot can’t wait to do it again 3 more times because I love being on road
Lowkey the best driving experiences i would've asked for. Everyone is kind, i learned everything in a fast pace. 10/10 do recommend!
Overall this is the place you wanna take your drivers ed classes because it’s friendly and I learned a ton that I thought I knew about driving and I improved my skills.
My sister loved drivers training here so i will be going. Mr.Brown is super nice and drove with my sister for majority of her drives. They are very flexible and offer extra help if needed.

"In My Lane" driving school is fantastic! The instructor is incredibly helpful, providing awesome feedback that really boosted my confidence. It's a great experience, especially for new drivers. Highly recommend!
10/10 definitely recommend, Ms Jones the driver instructor make everything easy and fun, I absolutely loved it here & I would definitely send my kids here in the future.
I'm an adult driver but still needs an education regarding driving here in the U.S., since I just migrated here... I took classroom lessons and adult driving lessons with our teacher Ms. Jones, so far this school is really good and it will prepare you to become a better and mindful driver, and Ms. Jones tries to cover a lot of topics regarding safe driving, road safety and vehicle safety as well... In My Lane Driving School - a highly recommended school not only for teenagers but also for adults who wants to become a better and successful driver.
They did not give me any notice after the state shut them down for falsifying documents. I had to call off of work to make time for the class on the TWENTY EIGHTH after they were shut down on the 21st. They had an entire week to give people notice and had me show up looking stupid. So unprofessional and that’s beyondthem breaking the law. Do not come here.
as an adult driver, i would highly recommend!! Ms. Jones was very patient, kind, and explained things in a way that made driving make a whole lot more sense for me personally. i had very, very, very little driving experience, but even in my first lesson i was out on the road and it never felt uncomfortable or left me feeling anxious.

I recently graduated from 160 Driving Academy and I now obtain to my CDL. This class is what you make it. The first 2 weeks you are there you will learn the pre trip inspections and you will be tested on youre knowledge on Fridays while also incorporating learning how to drive and do maneuvers with the truck. I enjoyed my time being here and making new friends. I strongly suggest who ever is in youre class with you, to find a study buddy.. A study buddy helps tremendously. It can be very overwhelming at times just remember why you are there, and keep studying! Im gonna give it 4 stars. Im giving it 4 because when I first decided to take the course I was under the impression this is a 1 on 1 training type of thing but its not. There are gonna be times where they dont have any trucks on the lot to practice in. 2 of the trucks are test trucks, and people test all through out the week.I was very frustrated on numerous days for over 3 hours I wasnt doing anything. I already passed the pre trip tests and there was no trucks for me to drive. Several days of doing nothing for several hours was aggravating. LC, and Keon are the best instructors. As they helped me learn everything I now know. Virgil is a great guy as well. As he helped me with the pre trip. Tom is also a great guy. This place was fun and enjoyable on the days you get to do stuff. To who ever is reading this, Good Luck.
I attended this school amazing experience great people all my instructors were great Lc ,kyle,keyon,tom,erin..of all my favorite was Lc and keyon they believed in me and got me to stick it out trying for manual drive trucks. Learned alot though and was a great time.
First of all I want to say thank you to all the instructors and staff! You guys are all amazing and great at what you do! My first week I worked with Keyon and LC, they gave me the foundation and fundamentals I needed to learn and build on my driving skills with the manual transmission. My second and third week I worked with Jacob, Erin, Keyon, LC and Kyle learning my backing maneuvers (only so many because it just didn’t click for me, lol) Kyle took a different approach and used something I was familiar with to help me understand and then it clicked! My third and fourth week I got to polish up my skills, again, I worked with Kyle and he was so patient in helping with my downshifting and on the road maneuvering in traffic. He made me feel comfortable and not so anxious. And, I can’t forget Penny, even though I didn’t work with her directly she checked on me from time to time and offered to help in areas I was struggling. All in all it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend 160 Driving Academy in Flint to anyone looking to obtain their CDL!
I don't normally leave reviews but 160 deserves it. First, if you go in with an open mind and want to learn you will have no problems passing your state exam. I aced my state exam today and I give FULL credit to all the instructors. They are extremely knowledgeable and do everything they can to prepare you. Use your time wisely, it can be busy at times and don't waste time just standing around. I found if you ever had problems or questions you could always approach an instructor and they will take the time to give you the help your looking for. If your not sure....ask questions! I consider everyone there my second family now. They are absolutely fantastic. Shout out to my bro's Nate, Dustin and Kyle who taught me a LOT and gave me the skills I needed to breeze through the state exam. You guys are awesome!
I usually don’t leave reviews but 160 definitely deserves it. They took me from never driving a manual or a trailer to me being fast tracked and passing my test on the first try. I want to thank all of the instructors there because it definitely is not a one man army and I know I hounded them all with questions lol. I will say if your truly want this you have to work on it consistently and intentionally and their team will show you the way. 160 in flint is definitely the place to go for your cdl!

Byron was very very rude to me I do not recommend him as I passed the test all he could do after was sit there and tell me I’m not mentally in the game over a couple mistakes witch we all make and after I told him I was nervous he said no your not … like how rude and if I wasn’t mentally in the game I shouldn’t of got my license. I really think he could of been a lot nicer about the way he was saying things 10/10 do not recommend 😕
I took my road test with Byron recently. I am very happy with my experience. The car they provide is also very easy to use if needed and the price is fair. The instructions are clear and simple, and often repeated so you know what is asked of you. Byron is very experienced and did a wonderful job of explaining my mistakes and how I can fix them. Definitely recommend!
I highly recommend this place! Anna was such a sweetheart and helped ease my anxiety. I cannot thank her enough for all the tips, being very helpful and very clear with directions on the road test. Was in desperate need of getting my license and took this 8 months pregnant! This is definitely the place to go if you need your license. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart again!!
I took my neice Sarah here and Byron her driving instructor was wonderful with her. He calmed her while driving and was very helpful with her anxiety. This place is highly recommended In my opinion.
Steve was very patient and kind, really made the experience relaxed! Thank you! Definitely recommend!

Their really cool and nice people and make you feel confident about passing. They help you with everything you need to know about driving and make sure you get yo L’s. I highly recommend.
On the move has been the most relieving, and enlightening experience for me. I can honestly say IT IS WORTH IT‼️ if you are in need take the courses, or the review and road test. I wasted my time with unique driving school as well I wasted my money! But coming here afterwards taught me soo much even outside of the test. It showed me how I should truly be handled. I was handled with care..Come here, and if you don’t know you WILL learn. Ms Faye was the best. She was so sweet and such a great teacher!! I absolutely loved my experience. Warren was amazing as well. And JOSH made my road test experience heavenly, I was so comfortable and he taught me a lot.. the entire experience taught me so much. I thank God for this company. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND‼️
Very misleading - My child signed up for a road test with this school which he thought was $50 (the average cost for a road test in Michigan is $65) upon completion and passing the road test my child was told the fee was a whopping $350!! Which he paid only because Ms Faye mislead me to believe the fee for a road tests was $350 as mentioned before the average cost for a road test is ONLY $65!! My child could have taken this test 5 times if necessary and still would’ve had money leftover. Ms Faye takes great pride in her success rate I guess you pay for success right? My child passed both sessions of drivers training (at another school-that didn’t offer the final step which is the “road test”) completed the hours required for licensing before finding on the move driving school. I requested a partial refund but Ms Faye came up with Private lessons fees parking fees, loaner car fees (I have a car/ that could’ve been used if an adult that runs the school mentioned it) parking lot fees and more fees!!! Thinking back (this just happened last weekend) I shouldn’t have paid a dime because her contract was with a minor and I should’ve been in the vehicle!!! I wasn’t informed of the $300 up charges until completion of the “road test” - which had to be paid because she “red flagged” the status of the License with state of Michigan until it’s paid. Again VERY MISLEADING!!! May this be a Warning to all that is considering a “road test” with On the Move Driving School.
I took ms. Faye’s class when I was 15 and had my license right at 16 years old still too this day I tell everyone in flint . Too get their road test and or classes shes the best!
Funny that On The Move has so many positive reviews. They must be from friends and or family members. I recently called to inquire about lessons for my 16 year old daughter. I was told that there was two upcoming classes. It wasn’t a guarantee that I would be able to get my daughter in the first session because at that current moment they weren’t sure about the class size. So they would get back with me to let me know which session my daughter could be in. I was also told at the same time I would have to pay a $100 deposit and text my daughters info in order for that to happen. Which was fine. I texted my daughters name, dob, address and school info and immediately paid the $100 deposit. Knowing the first session had started I assumed she wasn’t going to be in that class after not hearing back from the owner. So I called to see for myself what was going on. I was told that my daughter could have started that day. My first thought was if I paid the deposit and gave the info that was requested why wasn’t I informed about the start date? Due to lack of communication my daughter has missed the first day of class. During this same telephone conversation I was offered two time slots that was available. I chose the morning session due to the time and because my daughter has other obligations. I was informed that one of the classes that week would have a time change because of the instructors availability. Which was ok. I dropped my daughter off at the specific time given to only have my daughter text me moments later to say I needed to come pick her up. The class that was scheduled for that time was for segment 2 my daughter was in segment 1. So I referred back to the text messages that I received to make sure I just didn’t get the time confused. Which I didn’t. Then I was told by the instructor to bring her back later that day at 4 o’clock and also that following Friday’s class time has also been changed. By this time I’ve gotten frustrated because I was upfront and very clear that my daughter had a job and the evening classes would conflict with that. Reason why I opted out of the evening class and decided to put her in the morning class. I’m saying this to say the communication from this company is terrible. With that being said my daughter never returned. After that mixup I instantly found a better company who offered the same service for a better price. I found it very interesting that when I explained to that company what had happened they knew exactly what company I was referring to. I do not recommend On The Move to anyone. I found this company to not be reliable or professional at all. I’m sure they’ve been in business for quite awhile. So they should be more polished and well together by now.
