Dan was a tremendous blessing 🙏🏻 in establishing a positive relationship with our son, Andrew, and teaching him the skills he needed to be a safe driver. It saved this momma’s nerves! He was calm, patient and encouraging, as well as fun! I highly recommend their services both in the classroom (Driving 101 and Permit Testing classes) and behind the wheel classes with the 6 private Driving Lessons. Dan was the first person Andrew wanted to call when he passed his driving test. The price is fair and well worth it.
I recently took lessons with Dan from Premier and it has been a great experience! I struggled with driving anxiety for a very long time and could never gather the courage to practice driving. Janie is awesome and well go above and beyond to help you get started on the path to you're CDL and the instructor's are great they will test you evey day to make sure everything is sinking in.
I am very happy with the education and skills training I received at 160 Driving Academy in Springfield, IL. Steve in the main office was very helpful throughout the entire process. David, our classroom instructor, was great and the yard instructors - Dwayne, Josh and Bob - made things fun and still managed to teach me all the skills and knowledge I needed to learn. After three weeks of going over every square inch of the truck, identifying parts, learning procedures, double clutching, backing up, parallel parking, downshifting ... the CDL test was a breeze. Thank you all!
I enjoyed my time at 160! I chose this school over the school in my town and the instructor’s Duane, Josh, Bob are great! Helped me out so much along the journey on the Journey. And Steve in the office was also a big help! I loved coming to school everyday it was fun while also learning!
The Branch Manager Janie Brown helped me with getting enroll in school. She helped me when ever I needed it. When I went to the yard Mr. Steve the instructor was great. He never yelled or made me think I was not able to do it. He took the time to explain everything I needed to know. He let me learn from my mistakes and helped me figure away out without giving me the answer which made me more confident. He was a awesome teacher. When I received my CDL they even helped me find a job. So if you are looking for a school to get your CDL 160 Driving Academy is the way to go. I really appreciate all the hard work you did for me and with me.🙂 The best choice I ever made.

Our daughter learned so much from her driving lessons with Jim. She improved a lot. Jim was able to pick her up from our house because we live close to his meet up spot. This made lessons so convenient too.
I would recommend Jim Pendergrass for anyone else who is learning to drive and for someone who is not comfortable with driving. He is very knowledgeable and patient. He knew me from driving my dads golf cart around lol. He will teach you everything there is to know about driving and what is expected for the driving tests! I would recommend taking your driving tests in nixa because he knows the routes.
We had an excellent experience with Jim Pendergrass Driving. He was very quick to respond and scheduling was easy. He even came and picked my son up from our house for each lesson. I would highly recommend Jim for your driver's ed needs.
Our son was SO anxious about the drivers test. A close call on his first attempt wrecked his courage. Jim was fantastic with rebuilding his confidence and covering everything he needed to know. Patient, kind, and consistent he is worth every cent!
Jim is great! Andrew felt more confident after just one session! Said he was a great instructor & patient & very knowledgeable! Highly recommend!

I took a few lessons with them. And I promise they are truly Amazing. I had David as my instructor, but I've also had Ed and I believe William (sorry if I'm wrong) but they are all great. They make you feel relaxed they talk you through everything and they. With all that said I took my test today and I passed. I highly recommend them They are really worth every penny, I also used them as my sponsor and Joe took me out before the test and I also feel like that was a big help. So if anyone is looking for a school I say this is the perfect one. Also the Staff is super nice and friendly, Nash is amazing as well!
William was super helpful, before we got started on the road test, he had practice and tested us before the actual test, Winchester has an awesome Sponsor and I am super grateful for having them as a sponsor. If you're looking for a driving school, this is where to go, if you're looking someone to provide a vehicle for your road test, they're the ones to call as well.

I had an amazing experience with Winchester Auto School. I needed their services because I was scheduled to take a road test but my car did not have a middle console hand brake that is required. From scheduling to receiving the rental, everything was seamless. The woman who booked my appointment was extremely kind and professional and the older gentleman who brought the car was the same. Not only was he at the RMV 10 minutes earlier than what was expected, he allowed me to take a test run of the route that I would be driving for the test. He gave me great advice that I implemented during the exam which ultimately allowed me to relax and better focus on what I was doing. Overall I would recommend Winchester Auto School to anyone in need of a reliable road test rental company.

I couldn’t have asked for a better driving instructor. Patty taught me all of the basics that I now know by heart, and any fears I had of failing my driving test were alleviated when I was walked through the comprehensive O.D.O.T behind the wheel training. My instructor worked with me when it came to lesson times, was consistently on time, was always friendly, patient, and pleasant to be around throughout all of my lessons. I passed my license test first try. I personally recommend Lane County Driving school to anyone seriously aiming to get their license or any other certification
Very well put together business! I think my daughter will do well and benefit from the program because they are detail oriented, kind, friendly and know what they're doing. So far, I would highly recommend this program to anyone looking to obtain a driver's license.

I 100% recommend this to any teen that will be driving soon. LCDS is a warm and inviting place!. They have helped me so much learning how to drive and overall how to be safe with operating a motor vehicle. There was a lot of things that I didn’t know until I came here. I started 160 driving academy at the end of November 202! I didn’t know anything about trucking really except it was a dream of mine, so I had to go for it. From the moment I walked in and met Jory I knew that I came to the right place! He was very friendly answered all my questions knew that I was nervous but comforted me and never made me feel like it was just because they wanted money. I spent a week with Jory and then went to the yard. I was even more nervous and questioning my choices to become a truck driver.however I expressed my fears and all of the driving instructors reassured me that I was going to learn and do great i trusted them and that’s exactly what happened! I got my license with one try and have my job and a brand new truck and I owe it all to the wonderful instructors at 160 in Springfield that made this all possible! I would recommend this school to anyone who wants to get a cdl!!!! Good luck and be safe!
Working with Jory, Steve and Tim was amazing. Jory helped me out when I became sick and needed to reschedule my start date. Steve and Tim at the yard helped me once I got started to catch up and exceed even my own expectations. I can not begin to express the amount of paitence and professionalism that these individuals bring to the table to ensure not only me, but everyone that takes their course succeeds in passing and obtaining their CDL. I would recommend them 100 times over.
The manager Jory is very professional and helps get you set up and going with all the learning materials you’ll need. The instructors, Jeromy and Steve, are very experienced and work hard to ensure that each student has the knowledge and skills they need to pass the CDL exam with a big focus on safety first. Every day pre-trip inspection is practiced so that you are well prepared on test day. One thing in particular that I liked about the school was that I learned to drive and was tested in a manual transmission truck, so I have no restrictions on my CDL. Additionally, I was also able to gain some experience driving an automatic on the yard. I recommend 160 Driving Academy to anyone who wants to become a truck driver.

All the instructors are brilliant they could’ve taught a course at Harvard. I was a terrible student until suddenly it clicked because they were focused on teaching me with the proper use and functions of the truck. The maneuvers I got my CDL and so grateful that I did. Our family was very pleased with training Rod provided for our daughter. He was thorough and patient with her as she gained confidence in her driving. I was overwhelmed to learn that she scored 100% on her driving test. The officer specifically asked who Whitney had been working with as she was so impressed with her performance. Highly recommend!

Our experience has been great. I’ve had to call several times due to scheduling challenges on my end and they were understanding and patient. Franchesa is a rock star and her customer service has been a breath of fresh air.
We came to United after an awful experience else where , after one lesson correcting what the other school taught wrong and some home driving on their course they have set up my son passed his test. They were great in waking us through how to change the school and getting a lesson in to make sure he was ready to pass a test.
Definitely recommend Michael, he is patient and is one of the best instructors!!Customer service was great. Francheska is so understanding and always willing to work around parent schedule.All these reviews makes you not want to use them but I went with them anyway and I am glad I did. So worth it!
I am extremely grateful to United Driving for assisting me in obtaining my driver's license. A special thank you to Julia for her patience and dedication in teaching me how to drive. Without this school, I would never have achieved this milestone. I wholeheartedly recommend United Driving to anyone willing to dedicate the time to learn. Their instructors are adept at identifying and addressing your weaknesses, just as Julia did with me.
I won't be recommending anyone to this driving school. They do have good instructors such as Fred and Claudia but some of the others are rude and just unprofessional. The seem to think that every person attending a class already knows how to drive, they also speak to people like they are above everyone else. Last time I checked I paid all the required fees but they lack in being professional and giving sufficient information. If anyone does decide to attend this school stick to Ludlow for classes.
