Obtaining My CDL training at Roadmaster Drivers School, Omaha NE. Have equipped me with necessary sets of needed behind the wheel knowledge and skills of being "a well-versed confident, professional truck driver". School manager, students advisors, office staffs, in class, training field and roads instructors are very nice and each of them possess an extensive years of experiences in trucking industry.all these sets of humans know-how and skills are disposable to their students for their potential success in truck driving career. I would definitely , recommend to them folks who still out there, shopping for a good truck drivering training school, to go straight to Roadmaster, Omaha,NE... I say, "if you! like to be truck driver master behind the wheel, then go to Roadmaster"!.
Great experience. Instructors are knowledgeable and imparted knowledge critical to success. Kim was great in the classroom and I really enjoyed learning from Denny on the range. They connected me with employment before I even started classes. Worth every penny!
certainly challenged me and pushed me pass my own limits!! grateful to have been here and been taught here !!
In fact, Roadmaster School is one of the best trucks driving schools in America. I learned a lot during my time with them and gained a lot of experience. I recommend that anyone who wants to learn how to drive a tractor go to Roadmaster.
Each trainer provided their own unique experiences, personalities, and qualities. I learned from each one and gained essential training for success.
2. Cornhusker Driving School

Corn husker driving school is the best!!! Class work with Anna was awesome. She was so sweet and a great teacher, I learned so much helpful information. I had Joe Venditte for my driving portion of teaching, and he was AMAZING. So kind, patient, funny and I learned really good things with him. I looked forward to driving with Joe for my lessons! He is the best driving teacher! 5 stars!
Anna the classroom teacher was really cool and kept things fun. My behind the wheel instructor Mrs. Otten was great and she was very positive when giving corrections. I learned a lot and I feel ready to drive.
Had the worst experience with Cornhusker Driving School. The classroom portion was pretty good. But, unlucky for my daughter, she was paired up with Tony as a driving instructor. He was rude, condescending, and just down right awful to her. I spoke to him and he sure had all the right things to say. Before reaching out, I asked for some advice on a CLOSED group for Moms about this situation on how to handle it and if anyone had any experience. I specifically asked NOT to name people by name out of respect. Someone that works there started a group chat between instructors, took a screenshot and decided to figure out who my daughter had as instructor. Tony was offended I reached out to other moms for advice and refused to drive with my daughter. Guess he didn’t like that moms talk to other moms. Then I get a call that no other instructors are available (sure). Full refund - yes. But check out these reviews from the web about Tony. He is the ONLY reason they get bad reviews. Glad I trusted my mama instinct. If you go to them for Driver’s Ed - beware. Wonder how many people never said anything?
This school was very good for me as a student to get comfortable and understand driving. While the learning part was rather dry and repetitive, driving was very easy going and relaxing. My instructor, Mr. Jimmy, was a very great instructor for me as he was calm and easygoing. He had a great personality and we often chatted while I drove. It’s instructors like him that make learning such an important life skill much easier. Would recommend this school and instructor for drivers that are nervous to get on the road.
They were amazing! In class was a little rough due to the group of students but there's nothing you can do about that besides deal with it. Although that, I learned a lot from participating, staying in conversation, and listening! My group was very talkative during class so that was quite frustrating, but it was great. Anna was GREAT at covering the important sections, keeping at a good pace, going over what was on quizzes and tests, and using visuals when needed. She was just a great teacher overall. The driving section went GREAT as well! I had Sharee Venditte as my instructor and she was just amazing. I started as someone with zero experience and she taught me in such a great way to where I passed my drivers test the first time and was hardly nervous while I also had hardly any practice at home due to college classes, and nervous parents, haha! It was also so amazing to learn the safe and correct way to drive on the roads with full awareness compared to the way lots of others do today and then becoming comfortable. It's also very comforting in the beginning knowing they have a break on their side, haha! If you're looking for yourself, your child, or your student, they are great and perfect!

You pay 5x the amount at these types of places because they start classes every week and can get you your cdl in 4 weeks. If you don’t need your license right away look into a community college or tech school. I’m getting mine at Norfolk community college for $1200 vs $6000 that this company wants.
Highly recommend “The pros”Just passed my test today and through out my class had a great time with my fellow classmates. The instructors Bill,Zach, and Jose Bigg thanks to them.Go on down and learn with the pros you wont regret it,Just go in with a positive attitude make it fun and you’ll be fine!!!👍👍👍
Amazing instructors, great environment. Able to go at my own pace and get more help where needed. Unique approach from each instructor helped me to learn and understand the concept. Enjoyed the learning experience! Offered variety of job opportunities immediately.
I had a great experience at Pro Fleet. Instructor's are very experienced and have relatable road/industry experience. Only negative was taking the course in the winter, limited my driving opportunities. I highly recommend Pro Fleet if your considering getting a CDL.
My experience with profleet , truly was an amazing one. Such a comforting, professional, and all around stand up environment. I would recommend this school to anyone looking into getting their CDL hands down! Easy going instructors and never a moment where you will feel any criticism or pressure. The pure patience is what I loved the most and I appreciate profleet for helping me achieve my cdl

Have to add from my previous post it’s not 3400$ they are coming after me for it’s the whole 8000$ for never attending one class or stepping foot in their classroom . For telling them I’m sorry I can’t afford your classes I have to work that I can financially afford the school right now! That is pure vindictive greed ! Like ruin someone’s life and credit for never attending a class because they financially can’t . So a few weeks after telling Ken the owner I could not attend he send me to a collection agency for the 8000$ . When he’s the owner he could have understood and let it go but he’s using contract as a weapon . Even thought I apologized saying I can’t afford the school which is wayyyy overpriced ! The highest CDL school in Omaha area! I’m now in collections for 8000$! I will preach this over and over take your money somewhere else !! Please this guy isn’t about you he’s about the money period ! And yes I will attach the texts they don’t say much ! I won’t attach the ones just asking about the school I’ll attach the ones telling him I’m sorry I can’t attend !! Just please avoid this school at all costs !! Cuz life can happen and u can’t afford it if you can’t go and this man will come after you for every penny!!
I have just recently graduated from Custom Diesel. This was absolutely one of the Best Experiences of my Life!!! The teachers are Amazing, Patient, Understanding, and Fun... The office ladies are a blast too!! I have so much appreciation to everyone at Custom Diesel... Thank You All So Much for giving me tools I needed to start my new career. I definitely recommend this school to anyone who wants to receive a cdl they will get you where you need to be. And it doesn’t stop at graduation, they will make sure you find a job that best fits You!! Definitely check them out!!!!
Jen and Deb made it very easy to sign up as a veteran using my GI bill. The instructors make learning all the knowledge needed for a CDL enjoyable.
Custom Diesel is a great driving school. All the way from the front office staff to the trainers, everyone is there for one thing and that’s to get you your CDL. My instructor was John, he was amazing. He and the other instructors all have years and years of experience and are more then willing to share their knowledge.
I was interested in this school because it appears they have the ability to train on manuals. I've been trying to get ahold of anyone here since Monday. Called every day at least once. Sent an email. Their voicemail box is full, and they still haven't called me back since my email. Communication must be lacking or they're all on vacation. I guess I'll just have to wait another couple weeks until 160 Driver Training can take me.

I absolutely loved the course here! I had both my children (now 16 & 18) take the class and I feel they learned what they needed to excel in their "new-driver" role (aside from what I could teach them). The kids really liked their instructors. You can do either "in person" or virtual for the class time portion and then 3 -4 days/nights of driving , where they make the kids check the tire pressure, oil levels, and adjusts the mirrors, etc EVERYTIME! And they take them all over the city, in all types of traffic. We did the "in class" because my kids get enough screen time . Scheduling was simple with a great selection of either days/nights or weekdays/weekends. I also loved that, once the course was completed and they passed, they just had to run up to the DMV, turn in their paperwork, and they got their Driver's license! I would definitely recommend their program to anyone.
My 12 year old took the babysitting certification class with a friend and loved it. She said the instructor was very nice and she feels much more comfortable with CPR/First Aid since her training.
My daughter (age 18) just completed the Drivers Ed for adults. Paying $500 for the in class portion and 6 hours of driving with an instructor broken down into three sessions that are two hours each. The instructor for my daughter ended each class early. The first driving class, instructor ended 40 min. early. The second class, instructor ended 20 min. early. The third and last class, instructor ended 15 min. early. I realize my daughter is having a hard time grasping driving and it's probably stressful but I paid a lot for this and am not happy that the full six hours of driving instruction wasn't honored. Follow up - National Safety Council did rectify the lost time by providing an additional 2 hours of driving for my daughter with another instructor. This proved very beneficial for my daughter and I appreciate the action taken to make this right.
They don't even deserve one star. They took all of my money and I still don't have my license. I think they are running a scam. I had 3 different instructors with them. Each instructor that I had wanted me to pay them under the table to get extra lessons on the side. They would not teach me everything I needed to know. They would want me to test too soon. I think they did this so I would have to pay more money. I have spent so much money on NSC and still do not have my license. All the instructors do is yell, confuse you, and take all of your money. They are not worth it.
Excellent baby sitting class that I signed my daughter up for. A lot of helpful resources sent home. And she had a blast!
6. Bob's Driving School Omaha

He charged me for $130 dollars and also wasted time to drive in 2 hours. It's expensive and not effective. In this 2 hours, You could drive maximum 1.30-1.15 hours. Thus, go and find other good driving school which is effective and kind.
Excellent training. Gives the perfect confidence and boost needed and you will definetely come out learning lot of things out of this lesson.
Would 100% recommend! Fantastic teacher.
Best instructor ever!! So patient and knowledgeable! He made me feel so confident and safe while learning. He definitely knows what's his doing. Just an amazing man and instructor all around. Grateful he was my teacher. I recommend this instructor hands down!!
amazing experience with Bob's Driving School! I battled anxiety around driving for years and had multiple family members try to help me to no avail. Bob's Driving School helped me feel more comfortable behind the wheel and confident that I could pass the test. he works with you in areas you'd like to work on, takes you on different routes and he even comes to pick you up, all for a great price. I am proud to say I have had my license for a year now and I couldn't have done it without Bob's Driving School!
