It was a little rough in the beginning but had to keep pushing the instructor's are passionate about you getting your CDL's just go in willing to learn and you'll come out on top. Thanks Lb,Ed,Jeff,Dre,Rob,Carl and James
Terrible terrible experience, unprofessional instructors , rude, and will set you up for failure. You’ll barely get any seat time in the trucks and if you’re even a minute or two late … LITERALLY A MINUTE or 2 late , you’ll get written up. They have the lowest success rate in Ohio for students passing, if you want to go through 160 go to the Toledo yard. You’ll thank me.
Not a place to encourage someone to go. Just two licenses instructors and it also takes more than three months to complete the training instead of 1 month. A lot of discriminations and racism. After finishing the training you will be forced to wait home for a month before testing dates. I spent 180hrs in the yet and never had the opportunity to finish my driving time because of limited road instructors.
I'm currently attending and I wouldn't recommend if your paying out of pocket. You waste time for hours waiting for instructors while they tell you to do pre trip for hours throughout the day only one road instructor and breaks are way to long
160 Driving Academy has been a great experience for me the teachers/instructors are very knowledgeable and have tons of experience if you listen to them and are really diligent about learning all the material you'll be out trucking in no time. 🚛💨

If you give them 0 starts I will give them 0, this is the worst driving school ever they take long to process your payments and also the driver instructor is very loud and judge mental he will literally sit up and tell how he was different from other people and how he much way intelligent then more people and also they take the longest to schedule your in cars, definitely don’t recommend.
I had excellent driving coaches Nate and Twandrea. I learned alot from them, they were very patient and great trainers. However Mr. Dixon was a terrible experience, he snatched the wheel, slammed the brakes, constantly reminded you how many points would be lost during driving exam. I will recommend no one drives with him.
Absolutely terrible. Teacher is totally incompetent and has no idea what’s going on. Nobody there has any idea what the class is actually for or what it will actually do to help you. One of the worst experiences I’ve had in a long time.
Get a load of that second floor cantilever over the lot.
Vicky was my instructor and I cannot say how great she was. I was lucky enough to have a one on one session with her and she made me feel very relax and helped me with all questions. I wish I could give a higher rating cause that was a 10/10 experience.
