My son completed his classes today. I am impressed with their expertise and I am impressed with Dean who taught my sons driving portion. He was kind, knowledgeable and calm! My son loved him! I encourage everyone looking for drivers ed schools to look no further than PDS!
Had 2 kids go through their training and have been completely happy both times. I have peace of mind knowing that they get their behind-the-wheel training from police officers (currently serving or previously). Dean was great at explaining everything that was being covered during the driving lessons, what my daughter did well, and what she needed to improve. The office staff answers the phone promptly during office hours and are always very professional and helpful.
What an outstanding program! Every day our kid came home from class to tell me lists of things they learned. Class helped with their anxiety behind the wheel and the confidence and smoothness as a driver has grown. The behind the wheel training was excellent. It's well worth paying for this program! I didn’t expect this drastic of an improvement just from “sitting in class.” We couldn’t be more thankful or grateful! I’ll be singing the praises of PDS to all my friends for sure.
If I could give 6 stars I would. PDS was highly recommended to us, and they did not disappoint. Classroom thru driving instruction was top notch and very professional. Highly recommend John as a driving instructor. My son walked away feeling very confident in his skills. Thank you PDS!
While I'm not sure I will ever NOT worry about my son while he is driving, I feel PDS did a great job preparing him for the road. Prior reviews convinced us to make the drive rather than try a different driving school closer to home. So glad we made that decision, it was completely worth it! Dean's personality was a great match for my son and I really appreciate how much he worked with him on the maneuverability. We will definitely be back when it is time for our daughter to drive.

My experience overall at the Dayton campus was good. I mean every school has pros and cons but the pros outweigh the cons. Kendra is a awesome instructor! She teaches in a way you will understand.
My experience was great at 160 Driving Academy. All of the instructors from the start were very informative. Although our class came in to some major changes in the Pre-trip part of the course, the instructors handled it well in reshaping our learning process for this. I thank each one of them, as I took information from each and was able to successfully pass the course.
I had a good experience overall. ReKwon from Dayton is really good to work with, very helpful and professional. The instructors Kendra and Dave both helped me in their own way. Definitely not enough trucks and at times too many students in yard vs trucks/instructors but all worked out and simple enough to learn how to drive and get cdl!
Kendra was a great instructor, took about 2 months to start the yard time instead of the 4-6 weeks course time. Overall good learning experience. Would recommend if you have time to spare.
Great instructors and in-class teacher…Raekwon will get you started smoothly as possible and Liz makes the in-class portion bare-able. The equipment on the school yard tends to breakdown frequently which delays the learning time for students but they are quick to repair. An extra truck or two would help in the future but my overall experience with 160 was everything I needed it to be.

I met Terry working for another testing place and he always did the right thing. He was also a state inspector. Dude knows his stuff. He ain’t gona give you anything but if you do what you are supposed to do you will pass he is not one of them that fail you to get you to comeback and you. Any ask for more than that. I have got 65 people their cdl in the last 5 years and highly recommend this place
Started the class not knowing how to drive a manual as most people there do. By the third week I had it down! All the instructors (Denny, Brad, JP, and Debbie) were awesome! Come there with a good attitude and a willingness to learn and you will do great. Couldn’t complain about the class at all. They offer grants and loans for the program so don’t be discouraged by the price. Overall I had a great experience with everyone and passed the cdl exam my first try. I owe my success to my instructors and my want to succeed. Thank you OBC for the opportunity!
OBC Truck Driving School was a wonderful experience. Instructors were very friendly and eager to help with questions and training. Shout out to instructor Denny Volz. Denny was an excellent on road instructor. He is very patient and understanding. I recommend this school to anyone looking for top notch OTR training.
I just finished the electrical program and they are aiding me in professionalism as well with resume aid and learning interview etiquette very nice program and you get a $1000+ tool kit as well
I now know why this school gets bad reviews. If you fail your 1st time they make you pay again for test then dont get you a test date for over a month and wont let you practice the maneuvers. I believe like someone else stated they are only after your money. Want your class A go to a real trucking company and have them teach you at least you will pass and have a job.unlike OBC they take your money and let you fail. I attended the weekend classes. The instructors were great. I had Rodney in class room and out on pad. Class room was little boring but what class room is not lol. Rodney was very helpful on the pad. You ask him a question he helped you. He would ask you questions so you could also figure out on your own what to do. I also had Mike on the pad. He was also very good. If ypu ask for help they will help you. If you dont ask they let u try to figure it out on your own. Tim took me on the road. Awesome instructor. He stayed so calm while i drove and when i could not get it into gear he helped. I was scared my first couple times but Tim stayed so calm and talked me though everything i needed to you.

I’m so thankful for this school. Thankful for Sharon who got me in for a few drives with an instructor, when I was losing all hope because no one else I called would take me right now because I’m an adult. I owe so much to her. I’m thankful for John, my driving instructor. He has helped me so much through this process. I’m 29, and my biggest fear has been passing this driving test to get my license, and I’ve been putting it off for so many years. John has been so helpful and kind and supportive and encouraging. I took my test today and passed! It’s such a huge relief off my shoulders and I just could not have been as successful without this school helping me. Elizabeth has been so lovely as well during my phone calls with her. I have learned so much and I’m just so glad I went through Kettering D&D.
We had a really great experience here and my son REALLY learned a lot with the driving instructor Jeff. He took his time and gave back such great notes on things to work on as well. I really appreciate the time and effort he put forth in working with him AND getting to know him and understand how my son operates. Hopefully Jeff is around when my daughter starts driving. The zoom classes were nice as he could take the classes after school and at his own pace. I had nothing but great interactions with the office staff and they really helped navigate everything and got my son in when everyone else was booked out for a year.
Muy excelentes personas, muy profesionales . Los recomiendo al 200 por ciento. Gracias por todo éxitos y bendiciones siempre. 🤝🙏
Driving instructor was on their phone the entire drive. Instructed to do an illegal left turn. Did not give the lesson promised. Sucks, I thought they'd do better.
My son went through all the classes - then we found out the waiting list to drive with an instructor is 8 WEEKS. Was told refund and going elsewhere was not an option.
