Before I got in touch with Arlington Driving Academy, I had no confidence in my driving skills, and my steering control was a total mess. However, after just four days of intensive driving lessons with Mr. Mohammad, I became a much better driver. If you're experiencing similar challenges, this is the best place to change your narrative.
Just a note of caution for anyone with neurodivergent learning needs: I called to see about signing up my two older, high-functioning teens with autism for driver's ed, and the person who returned my call was shockingly rude. He told me, very abruptly, "No, we don't do that." When I pressed that they are high-functioning high school graduates who may just need a little extra understanding if they struggle, he said, "We don't do autism." I couldn't understand everything he said next due to his accent, but I did gather that he was telling me to go online and teach them myself. I wouldn't have been calling a driving school if that was a valid option for us. It was a very unpleasant customer service experience to say the least. Folks who may need a little extra help learning should consider going elsewhere.
Arlington Driving Academy has helped me achieve my goals to get my driver's license. Their services were excellent and their instructor (Mohammad) was very knowledgeable and patient in teaching me and was very helpful in building my confidence in order for me to pass my driving test. Thank you very much for your guidance and more power to you all! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I just got passed for the road test. Mohammad Hassan is really a nice man and great teacher. I never learn driving before but he teached me just in 3 days and I am now a good driver. Really a nice and proficient learning experience.😆
Very good. The teacher’s name is Muhammad. He can be strict, but he cares so deeply about you that he wants you to succeed on the road test on the road. Like how I passed it today.

Mrs. Harris is super sweet and a good instructor, The staff at the desk were also very nice. Definitely would recommend taking classes and tests her versus the dreaded DPS. It was also smooth, I went in nervous but quickly was calmed down by the staff and overall had an easy time. Thanks A+ !
Employees were very polite and actually take the time to give you some great feedback even as you’re taking your test! Wayyyyy better than the other DMV I went to! Awesome job!
I did my teen driving lesson / road test here honestly super simple and now have my driver license ,love this place !

It was better than staying in a class setting. You take your time time and pace your self. refresh yourself and start over again. l loved it. Thanks very much.
Very clutch
Fun and knowledgeable, enjoyed every step of the way thank you..
Would absolutely recommend. While I wish it could be shorter the content serves as a great refresher as well as potential life saver. Wife and I both completed at very reasonable prices. Will be back in 3 years to renew.

Hi, I’m a graduate from On Track Truck Driving School. I was able to resource schools, and OnTrack caught my attention, the reviews that read online were perfect. As soon I was introduced to Mr. Jeff class I knew I was in the right place his willingness to help and make lesson plans easy made me understand Texas Driving Laws better. The following weeks at the truck yard, he will be one on one learning ,his expertise on the teaching methods of driving made it easier for me to understand. First, his method on teaching pre-trip I found it amazing he would create acronyms and ways to make you understand things easier. His techniques to do maneuvering were on point, and he will teach you step by step how to complete a task by the end of the day. His assistant Chuck would also give you pointers on how to do pre-trip on a timely manner. He also took care of taking me to the driving appointments and stayed there until I was done. I have to thank also Ms. Maria, the front office receptionist for her efficiency in scheduling our appointments without her help it would have taken us months to get this appointment to complete our testing. In all, I want to thank the owner of this fine school and their exceptional and professional team that was able to teach me in a short period of time on becoming a professional truck driver.
There are plenty trucking schools out there but you should know what you want and find a possibility to get it. I highly recommend On-Track Truck Driving School for their hard-work and credibility. My CDL has been wrongfully suspended by TXDPS but by attending On-Track Truck Driving School, the manager was fair with me and helped me to get my cdl on-track with all the refreshment that was needed. I wish you a great success
The Absolute Best School to get your CDL , Coach Snow is absolutely amazing. And that's exactly what she is , the best Coach! She pushes you in the most positive way. I've been here almost 3 weeks of my 5 week course, I've received my CDL permit and I owe it all to On Track Truck Driving School. I looked at 3 other schools and I'm very happy that I chose the right school . The staff is amazing, always positive vibes up here and I'm telling you.....don't go anywhere else! Pick the Best School for you. I promise this is the place to Get Your CDL ☆☆☆ I can't say enough how much I appreciate all the people there that are involved in helping you succeed ☆☆☆
Great school with a great staff. Will recommend to anyone looking to get their CDL. They really care about their students. It was a great experience.
Man, with everything going on in the world and, in the industry. It's great to have a school that cares about your success. Not only in trucking, but life in life in general. Thank you Kenya and your whole team! Shout out to Allen, for the patience, skills; and helping me get to where I need to be!

The course served my purposes and the price and the convenience couldn't be beat; however, the joke about the Rabbi and the Priest made me very angry, so that from that point on, all I could really think about was how not-funny it all was. I've got over it, but frankly, the jokes are almost all pretty lame and a couple edge on inappropriate, but this one was just insulting. As I said, the price was right, but I'm willing to pay more next time to not be subjected to this kind of humor. BL: I cannot recommend the course because humor used in public service training shouldn't be in any way questionable or insulting to anyone. There are better, non-insulting ways to be funny. P.S. I did write to them about this, but go no response. Then they sent me a 2nd request for a review, so here it is.
Very informative in a way that did not bore me to death thank you.
Comedy Guys Defensive Driving course was excellent, fun and customer service oriented, they answered quickly and were very helpful with questions about the Course. It's a great way to stay home , get er' done, and most importantly I am much more aware of MY driving habits and others. Thanks "Guys"!
Jean was amazing! Great guy. Super easy class and a wonderful experience! Literally the BEST DD class I've ever taken!
helped super easy and if you want can easily finish within a week.

This driving school is very good! Saleem was very patient with me and helped me get better at driving. The experience was very educational and Saleem was super helpful the whole time. Thanks!
I did behind the wheel with Saleem and he was a very good instructor. He was patient and flexible when I had unexpected schedule conflicts, and was very honest with very good feedback about my driving
I completed the course with Saleem and he was fantastic!
Would give more than 5 stars if I could. As a first time driver at 35 Saleem made the whole experience comfortable and enjoyable helping me gain confidence on the road. He was super supportive and gave great feed back. I would highly recommend horizon driving to anyone.

Had 2 children go here and had great experiences I recommend
This school has been horrible. From the extremely racist driving instructor spouting off inappropriate comments, to not being able to schedule classes often, to being given incorrectly filled out forms in the sealed envelope for the dmv! Do not recommend!!!
My driving test today with Mr. James Lewis went very well. The office secretary was professional and helped me set the driving test up, even with blocks in the way. He was very respectful and told me what I needed to correct. I definitely recommend for the price. The parent taught program with ADS was $70, and I only paid $75 for the drivers test scheduling. I will say it’s cheaper than the school teaching you for the $400 package.
Took both of my kids here for their driving test. Friendly and efficient appointment booking and test taking. Highly recommend over using the DPS for driving test
OK. I Called and this really nice lady (Autumn) answered the phone with a very professional and friendly manner. She helped me by answering all my questions, and was patient when I needed extra time to find some information she needed from me. I had been putting this off because it’s usually recording and or people who just say call back later. I am absolutely impressed with this young woman‘s level of professionalism that you just don’t get to see anymore. I 100% recommend this place to anyone who wants or needs to get a DL education in a friendly and professional place, and if you have any question, ask for Autumn. 👍

Worst driving teacher, Zack always talking on the phone while the student is driving and he is a rude person. I will never recommend this school to anyone, you better go to another place.
Years ago, I paid for driving lessons for this driving school and I was assigned an instructor named (Admasu)...and I feel like I threw away my dollars to be Insulted by him and didn’t learn much at all… The instructor( Admasu) spent a lot of time on his phones during my lessons, he vague directions and he failed to provide constructive criticism. The entire time he was impatient, rude, and caused me anxiety during my lessons. on my last day of training, I was driving on a highway ...while i was driving, Admasu made a phone call to someone and he put his phone on a speaker, for the other person to insult me with harsh language for 5 minutes straight..., I just felt so awful and discouraged afterwards... and I was told by others that, this was a normal behavior for this instructor... after that, I scheduled driving lessons with a different school, started from scratch and i got my License in a short period of time. Admasu is very Unprofessional and Unsuitable for the Job. and I hope he's not employed by this driving school now. you deserve an instructor that is calm, professional, understanding and a lot more relaxed about technical stuff. and You won't get it here.

This is the most unwelcoming establishment I’ve ever stepped foot into. When you walk in, no one greets you. They can’t be bothered to look up from their phones. The 2 times that I scheduled my daughter to go drive with them, they did not schedule it properly and I was lied to about the time and length of her class. The last time we were there, I dropped her off at 7, she called me at 7:20 and told me that the driving instructor told her she needed to leave so he could lock the door. That’s it. No other words spoken. He obviously didn’t have her on his schedule. He did not bother to say “Hey, you’re not on my list this evening, are you sure you’re supposed to be here? Do you have a ride? Let’s figure this out.” Instead he locked my teenage daughter outside of an empty building, at night, and he drove away and left her there. I was boiling with rage. I got a refund. These people do not give a flip about their students. I pray that they go bankrupt.
Please don't waste your money nor time at the 2325 N Davis Drive Arlington TX 76012 location. First, they have no telephone courtesy when requesting info/wanting to know more about the Adult Driver's Ed Behind the Wheel course(s) and the pricing. Except for one young lady who answers the phone during the week only in the afternoons (around 2pm or try 1:30pm) is very helpful and will answer questions/concerns you have. She will tell you to come into the office to register and once you've signed up, then you will know the availability of instructors and how soon they can work with you. As of July 2017, this North Arlington location only offers one package of Behind the Wheel First time Adult Drivers' (ages 18 to 24) that is 6 hours or 4 behind the wheel lessons. Pickup at home is available. Each lesson lasts 1 1/2 hour (or 90 mins) and the cost for total of 6 hours which is equal to the 4 lessons they offer is $420. My instructor for all 4 lessons (or 6 hours) was Donald Derryberry but they call him Don was horrible. I would not recommend him to any first time/beginner driver if you're serious about getting your license. If you are a parent reading this, please don't sign your child(ren) if you're getting him as an instructor. I didn't get a chance to choose my instructor but what I would suggest when you register is soon as you walk thru the door, there's a bulletin board with all the instructors' names on there, it would be smart to take notes so you can later do your research to see if there's any reviews you can find on whose good and whose not. Don didn't have the patience with me, and then after the 2nd lesson says "6 hours isn't enough for anyone whose learning to drive the first time. He doesn't know why the office offers the 6 hours package to begin with because in his years of teaching, no one is ready for the DPS exam after 6 hours/4lessons." Additionally, if you are ready to take your road test exam, Austin Driving school offers the third party testing which is they're authorized to give the DPS exam if for some reason you don't want to go through the DPS office. Austin Driving School offers the DPS exam ONLY at the South Arlington location for $55 . You have to get your own transportation to the South location and you will do the driving exam in the same car you learned in but not with your instructor. The examiner grading you will be a different instructor from who you practiced the 4 lessons with but SAME CAR you learned to drive in. Also, if you need more than the 4 lessons like I did, I recall from the pricing chalkboard they have in the office where you register, that's it's $75 additional lesson to the $420 if you need more practice which likely you will because that's what Don, my instructor told me. The $420 must pay upfront, they don't offer installments or payment plans. Just beware and don't make the mistake I did which was paid the $420 for their driving instructor to tell me on my 2nd lesson that 6 hours of driving (4 lessons worth) isn't enough to be prepared for the DPS exam and what he suggests to his students after the 2nd/ 3rd lesson, you drive without him for a week (in other words practice with someone else). But how could I have done this when I registered at the office and on the spot was forced to choose days and times (for ALL 4 of my lessons) that he had open on his roster? Person in the office calls driving instructor to say "a new person just signed up" and in return that instructor gives times & days in which you must select from right there on the spot. Not to mention, Don was late on 1st lesson and 2nd along with 3rd. Also, you is got to be calling the Austin office to ensure you're scheduled on the roster for the driving time you selected 2 weeks earlier. You may have your days & times down but the office doesn't, that's how unorganized and unprofessional they can be. I will NEVER suggest the North Arlington location (2325 N Davis Drive Arlington TX 76012) to NO ONE especially if you're a first time driver like myself with no knowledge nor skills.
This is the absolute worst establishment I have ever encountered. I don't know where to start. The building is not kept up at all, everything was probably new in the late 70s. The majority of their furniture seems to be things that they have grabbed from the dumpster. The service? If I could give this place no stars, I would. They do not have enough drivers to schedule the students. They do not care if you are trying to get your child's license, they care about your money and not providing a service to you. Clearly this company only cares about making a profit because even their employee's recommend going somewhere else. I would pay 5 times the amount at any other school than go to Austin Driving School. I will be surprised if this place is still around in 5 years because this location is clearly an after thought to even their corporate office. Very unhelpful, rude, and not worth the time, energy, or money.
