Well managed school
My driving instructor was Mohammad Ali, He was incredibly knowledgeable and made it super easy for me to learn. I was originally really scared to drive but he truly made the experience wonderful and not stressful at all. I even learned how to parallel park in less then 5 minutes he truly is wonderful! Highly recommend the 6 hour lesson package if you are new! Learned everything that I needed to and I now feel very comfortable driving ☺️🙏🏻
This school has very good service, instructor (Hadi) is very well advised , polite and instructed properly, Daud bhai as examiner is also very polite and properly instructed, all in all experience is very satisfactory.

After multiple failed attempts at the DMV and wasting 3.5 months Sanjay at Desi Driving school got us taken care of. My son was way more comfortable to take the test after a few driving lessons and was finally able to pass the driving test. Highly recommended! Thanks again!

I honestly wish I could give this place 0 stars. It took me over a year to finish my drive times with them because the instructor was so rude and unhelpful. I was forced to finish the summer I before I moved off to college and they did very little to accommodate me. The office staff was also very rude, unprofessional, and incredibly disorganized. I would get multiple calls from different people trying to confirm my drive times because the person before them wouldn't make note of it. Although that is nothing compared to the drive times themselves. I was constantly scheduled with the same rude, condescending lady (despite asking to be scheduled with someone else multiple times) who not only was the worst teacher/instructor I have ever worked with for anything, but also was very unsafe and unprofessional by texting, making personal phone calls, and putting her feet up while with students. She even would randomly shout things with the intention of scaring the kids in the car and even adjusted my seat WHILE I was driving. By the time I was done I even reported her to the State for her behavior. I have telling everyone I know with kids, friends, nieces, nephews, or cousins not to let anyone close to them go to this driving school and I can guarantee that my parents won't be sending their 3 other kids here.
Wow! Wish I could give more than 5 stars. These guys are the most patient, helpful, and caring people you will meet. They are incredibly, genuine, and helpful. So refreshing. Great experience! Thanks for your help!
Such a great experience for my 16-year old today! I talked him into doing the skills test first, and he was glad he did. Otherwise, they are unable to interact at all during the driving test in order to correct anything that isn't perfect. Great experience with the owner, who made my son comfortable before starting it all.
Great experience! Highly recommend this driving school. The staff are very kind and encouraging. My daughter took the drivers test here and the staff were great! Worth the $75 to get it done and not have to take the road test at the DMV.
A close friend who lives in Carrollton recommended Right Start where she had taken her daughter for her road test and had a great experience. Due to a 2 month wait to get into our closest DPS in Garland, we decided to call Right Start. Everything was great from beginning to end. Very friendly receptionist who answered all our questions and made our road test appointment. The day we came in for the actual road test, the front desk receptionist was helpful and friendly. The owner (who conducted my son's road test) was very personable and professional. The atmosphere was relaxed and I saw both the receptionist and owner also interact with others with the same kindness and respect. Overall, they made my son feel welcome and relaxed and even if he had not passed, I feel they would still show support and professionalism. We are very happy with our experience. My oldest son took his test at a DPS and the experience was quite the opposite. Stern driving instructor almost purposely trying to make the student driver feel intimidated. And then the driving instructor chastised both my son and I for him "driving too fast and going to kill someone", (driving fast totally out of character for my son, who was often accused of driving too slow!). In all, Right Start was a great option for us and we would recommend other to them in a heartbeat! In fact, already have!
