I took a 2 hour lesson with Mr.Robert. At first I was very nervous and didn’t know what to expect from the lesson. He asked me what I was trying to work on which was practicing how to pass the driving test. I previously drove with family and friends so my main concern was practicing the driving route/parallel parking to pass the test. At first it was a bit frustrating and nerve wracking but after the first 20 minutes of him going over steps and tips on how to parallel park and drive around the neighborhood, I got comfortable and understood how to correct my driving. He was patient and encouraged me to focus when I would start to get nervous or doubt my actions throughout the lesson. After the lesson he assured me that I improved and I’d pass as long as I remember what I learned and had confidence. I’d definitely recommend having Mr.Robert as your instructor. The price was good for a 2 hour lesson and fast scheduling considering other driving schools nearby. I was able to schedule a driving test a week after my lesson because the time slots filled up quickly. I was very nervous taking my driving test and the examiner was quiet and thorough. I also asked him for a quick debrief on my score after the test was over so I could understand what mistakes cost me points. I was able to pass the test on my first try. For my first time parallel parking on the test I did perfect using the tips Mr.Robert gave me. I got minus one point though because I pulled out of the lot a bit too fast because I was nervous. The cars are old and the peddles are a bit hard to control as it does speed up fast with barely touching the peddles like other reviews have said. The steering wheel is a bit stiff too. If you don’t take a lesson with them using their cars prior to the test then just be aware of the pedals being sensitive and the turning of the steering wheel. The other people who took the test before me were in and out so it was about 15-20 minute process from taking the driving test to waiting for the paper work after you pass the test. My experience using the driving school for a 2hr lesson and then taking the driving test was better than I imagined. The woman at the front desk is very polite and helpful when making sure you have everything you need for your lessons/test. Initially the mixed reviews made me nervous but thankfully the staff I met were great and helpful. Thank you! 😊
