I recently completed my training at ATDS, and I couldn't be more impressed with the experience. From the moment I reached out to Lydia, she was incredibly helpful and guided me through the enrollment process with ease. Her warmth and efficiency made the entire transition seamless. My instructor, Jessie, was nothing short of amazing. Their dedication to teaching safe driving practices was evident from day one. Jessie took the time to thoroughly instruct me on upshifting, downshifting, and operating a commercial vehicle safely on the road. Their patience and expertise ensured that I not only learned the necessary skills but also felt confident behind the wheel. Thanks to Jessie's guidance and Lydia's assistance, I successfully completed my training and am now have my Class A CDL and I’m equipped to navigate the roads with confidence. I very highly recommend using Get Drivers Ed, I finished and got my permit and license within 6 months. Super easy and affordable they always have sales going!!

My son had an excellent experience with this company. Learning to drive can be scary and stressful, but these people really understand the process. He took his driving test with them too. We found them to be very well put together and organized. We're very happy that we used Lubbock Driving School!
Went to pick up a few papers my child had lost today at 5pm and the older lady there looked at me like I was talking to her in another language. Tells me she doesn’t know what I’m talking about and proceeds to shove the papers towards me instead of handing them nicely.
Excellent driving school. They take the time to teach teenagers to become safe drivers. They have plenty of instructors and it is best to schedule with different instructors and learn different styles. My child took additional lessons and she came out as a safe driver.
I usually don't write negative reviews. I would have given two stars because your paperwork and explanations were very organized. I wish I could give zero stars for two reasons. 1. Extremely verbally abusive and condescending driving instructor. When I called to report it, I was told he was 'no longer with us, but most students just loved him'... even after I explained that we later learned that many students at my teen's high school do not recommend Lubbock Driving School because of this instructor's reputation. A year later we are still working with our teen to overcome the fear and timidity he instilled. 2. to offset the 5 stars you gave yourself to offset the other reviews. I mean, seriously?
My son went to this school about a year ago. Go somewhere else, please. Instructor fell asleep in the car while son was driving on the loop. Instructor had my son drive to a outdoor statue shop, he shopped while the kids sat in the car. Really! Some instructors were awesome like Coach Perez! Other instructors questionable! Somewhere else has got to be better!

So my experience here has been great, Mr. Creed has been great. I seen the reviews on here I'm so surprised, my son went here thats why I picked this place. So my opinion is its a great place to come get trained to get pass your CDL test. I do have some road experience but my son didnt he went to swift where he had a mentor with him be letting him lose on his own. So let me finish this up. It's definitely a place I would recommend.
Let me save you some time and money DO NOT go to this school. Especially if you plan on paying your tuition outta pocket. They only give you 2 times to pass at the DPS then it’s up to you to find your own truck and trailer. They not gonna train you properly. The lead trainer just gonna sit in his office all day and pump up your hours to get you off the yard. If you have a choice between these people and ATDS go with ATDS. Your better off taking 5K and getting your own truck and trailer and training your self. Only one good instructor there that actually cares if you pass or not and his name is Eddie. He’s actually the only trainer in my honest opinion the other 2 just gonna sit in the office and shoot the bull all day. Again DO NO WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME GOING TO THIS SCHOOL. The 5 star review is comical and probably fabricated.
To be completely honest, this school was pretty alright. If you’re willing to put in the work and learn your pre trip and maneuvers you’ll do okay. Most of these low rating reviews on here are probably from people that didn’t put the work in and expected someone to hold their hand the entire time. Eddie, Quinton and Jarred are awesome instructors.
Experience n training was good but was too long, supposed to be a month long from start to finish but wind up taking 2 mos, i understand there are obstacles n things happen but when a course's timeframe is doubled something is wrong, something needs to change. Other than that Jarrod n Jerry were very friendly and professional with ther jobs
