Amazing school! All the staff and teachers are really nice and make learning to drive simple and easy to understand! Especially Victor, he is definitely one of the best teachers who will make you laugh and learn at the same time! I had an amazing time here!

I took driving lessons with Marat Murzamuratov at 911 Driving School and I want to say a big thank you! This was my second time learning to drive. The first time was in Russia, but there my instructor didn’t explain things so clearly. With Marat it was very different - he explains everything in a simple way, very calm and patient. Even difficult things like parallel parking started to work from the first tries. I was really lucky to have Marat as my instructor. All lessons were comfortable, I didn’t feel stressed, and I started to feel more and more confident behind the wheel. My exam went great, and this is because of Marat. I truly recommend him! If you want a good experience and to pass your exam with confidence - go to Marat, you will not regret it. P.S. I had two exams at 911 Driving School. The first time I had Victor Shen as an instructor. I felt very uncomfortable with him, his way of giving instructions made me more stressed, and the whole exam was a big pressure for me. Because of this, I don’t recommend taking lessons or exams with him.

I would highly recommend this for any beginner/completely new drivers. I passed my Driving test just by completing 10 lesson course without any external practice. The tips given by all the instructors are extremely helpful not only for the road test but also for real life driving. In my experience, I took classes under Isaac, Debo, Marat, Victor, and John. Majority of my classes were with Isaac and I liked the way he prepared me with some real world scenarios by practicing different road situations. Debo and John were very calm and understanding as well. I took Mock test and road test with Marat, he is very good and gave some beneficial tips to keep in mind during test. I did not have a great experience with Victor as he would rush me into taking actions even when I wasn’t confident; however he did teach me parallel parking in an easy way.

I had an amazing test experience with instructor Marat. I took a warm up and then the final test with them. Marat was super polite, energetic and patient to help me understand the mistakes I did on the warm up. I would highly recommend this driving school and the instructor.

Choosing him as my examiner for my road test was the best decision, and I cannot thank him enough for the truly pleasant experience he provided. From the moment we started, Marat was incredibly patient, positive, and friendly. His brought a good energy and made me feel completely supported and relaxed throughout the entire test. Marat's ability to create such a comfortable and encouraging environment is truly remarkable. It made all the difference in my road test journey. I've got amazing experience here! I was scared to drive, especially at highways, but Joyce easily helped me to overcome this fear! I drove almost all highways. She helped me to understand how to approach highway driving, how to enter traffic, change lines and don't be scared. She was very cautious and prevented any unexpected situations with grace. She never yells, and I had great and fun time with her! She knows when you are ready to go to highway even if you feel that you are not ready. I'm very grateful she was my teacher!

Had a great experience with this driving school! My examiner was Jun, and I booked a warm-up plus driving test session with him. He was super patient during the warm-up and gave me really helpful feedback that boosted my confidence for the test. Definitely recommend this place - their service is top-notch!

I had a great experience with Zaheer. Although I've driven in Canada for more than half a decade, I needed help understanding the local rules and testing requirements. Zaheer was excellent at explaining everything clearly and thoroughly. He covered all the state-specific regulations and common practices that were different from what I knew. His teaching style was straightforward, and he made sure to point out important details. The whole process was smooth and well-organized, and his support was consistent throughout.

Zahir is an excellent driving instructor. He is extremely dedicated and excellent at teaching driving. I paid for a 2 hour lesson + driving test, and Zahir proceeded to provide good instruction even after I passed the test early. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to learn driving, or just needs to do a driving test quickly.

I had an outstanding experience with Salam Driving School, and I cannot recommend them enough — especially Zaheer, who is an exceptional instructor and examiner. His professionalism, calm demeanor, and deep experience made all the difference. From the very first lesson to the final driving test, Zaheer was incredibly supportive, clear in his instructions, and always encouraging. One of the best decisions I made was to purchase the big package with the Warm-Up practice before the test.

I had a remarkable experience with Sam's Driving School. Sam has enormous professional experience with driving, he teaches driving skills from basic to advance level with his unique techniques. He doesn't scold or yell when you make mistakes at the time of the lesson. Instead, he will teach you with a toy car how to handle the scenario in a better way. He has extraordinary skills for parallel parking, you'll just learn it in 5 minutes to parallel park. If someone has zero driving experience, then Sam's driving school is the best for beginners. Take a warm test, he will explain each skills thoroughly, and you won't make the mistakes in real test.

I cannot recommend Sam's driving school enough. He accommodated me on short notice unlike a lot of other places nearby. I'm a newbie with 0 road experience and 0 confidence. He is an excellent instructor who worked on making sure I could drive safely and improved my confidence many-fold - especially taking away my fear even on the freeways as a new driver. He was a good critic and very, very patient - regardless of me making the same mistakes multiple times. It took me 14 hours including the driving test but it was surely lesser than what I expected. I can now drive even on the freeways all by myself, even on unfamiliar routes in the rain safely and confidently in just under a month after clearing the road test. Kudos to Sam for helping me gain confidence. He was also accommodating of the times to suit my schedule and he took time to instruct on all road safety rules, as well as tips and tricks to be a good driver. TL:DR. Value for money and time is 10/10. Highly recommend if you want to be a confident, safe driver.

I had a warm-up session followed by a skill test. Walter was very helpful and clear with his instructions during both the session and the test. He is truly a great instructor.

I got passed skill test today successfully. My greatest appreciation especially to Ms. Kathleen Heaton. She is best Instructor, calm and polite at telling all the necessary safe driving tips, rules then clearly explained all my mistakes while on each ten driving lessons. For her guidance, I got more confident get drive on road signals and especially on freeway. I would definitely recommend training this center for any one to take first driving journey. Thank you.

I took my beginners 9 day classes at 1St driving excellence and I must say that it was the best experience. I was absolutely afraid of driving however 1St driving excellence proved that I am wrong. Miss heaton, my instructor was absolutely wonderful. She was patient and was always willing to help me. She gave me a lot of confidence that helped me learn driving very quickly. My warm up test with Mr John was excellent! He made sure I understood every important rule of driving before taking the final test. Overall I would highly recommend 1St driving to all my friends and family. A million thanks!!

Had a horrible driving test experience with an instructor named John in 2019. I could not understand a single word he said. He was quite impatient during the test, kept making weird faces, and passed rude comments the whole time. He looked like he was high or something. Would not recommend going to this place. Edit - Yes, that's right. I passed the test as soon as I switched to a different driving school. Anyway, I acknowledge my error during the second attempt for a violation of the law (rolling stop), which I only realized after the test. But, I was happy with the fact that the test was conducted fairly. However, the 1st attempt when I committed a dangerous action was solely because of John's impatience and unclear communication, and it still haunts me to this day. One of my friends recently took a test at your school and she had a similar experience which prompted me to write a review.

I want to thank Ahmed so much! He's like a mentor, incredibly patient with me especially because not everyone has the patience for a slow learner like me. He's always willing to explain things again and again, without ever getting irritated or annoyed. He helped me overcome my driving anxiety. I remember having a class with another instructor (I won't mention his name), but he was very rude and impatient. I felt hopeless because I didn't think anyone else could help. Driving anxiety made me find excuses to avoid it altogether. But reality dawned – I need to drive! Ahmed is definitely a great instructor. He pushes you and helps you face your fears. I think it's very important for instructors to be patient, just like Ahmed.

Avoid this driving school and test center at all costs. Their primary focus is on getting you to pay for more classes, rather than genuinely assessing your driving skills. They will repeatedly fail you for minor issues, often with just 2 or 3 mistakes. During my first test, I had a 30-minute warm-up session followed by the driving exam. The instructor/examiner, Vadym, was unprofessional and didn't follow basic road safety rules—he jaywalked and failed to use crosswalks. Additionally, his directions were unclear, and he seemed more intent on pushing me to take more classes than conducting a fair evaluation. Initially, I thought this was an issue with just one examiner, but when I took the test again with a different examiner, the same patterns emerged. Keep in mind, I’ve been driving for 12 years. This situation reeks of a conflict of interest, and I’m baffled as to how Washington DMV audits such practices. If their policy is to only pass you after you've taken their classes, they should at least be upfront about it.

Had a phenomenal time when it came to both online classes and practice drivers, Jason and aria were very good at making our online classes comedic and fun to enjoy, Jason was amazing at making sure we understood the material and super understandable whenever he explained a question we asked, joshua Kelly was super patient and supportive when its come to my drives and I'm grateful to have had him as a driving instructor, there's nothing more to say about this school but that they are a amazing choice when beginning drivers education.

My experience with Defensive Driving School was great. Our instructor, John, has been a very informative guide, teaching us all we need to know about the rules of the road... And a little bit more. It is a fun course with creative projects, and a generally relaxed environment. The drives felt safe, especially seeing as it was my first time ever behind the wheel! I would recommend this to anybody for driver's ed. And thanks to John, there is one thing I will always remember about safe driving if I forget everything else, "Leave plenty of open space."

My instructor Jim Freaney was very understanding and taught me everything I need to know to pass the test and more importantly drive safe. He made sure I did not get into the common bad habits of driving, and gave me very useful feedback during my classes. I recommend Defensive Driving School and Jim to anyone that want to learn how to drive the right way!

We switched to a different driving school halfway through because it was next to impossible to schedule lessons. You can only schedule one lesson at a time over the phone. The owner stands in front of the school smoking. The receptionist, if you can actually get someone to answer the phone, is unfriendly and makes you feel like you are an unwelcome customer. If we would not have switched my son would have had to reschedule his driving test due to lack of availability of appointments for driving lessons. Instead, he was able to get all lessons in and passed on his first try!

Personally I have no need to use Phil’s nor have I known any one that has used this course being that I’m not from here. But that being said I just wanted to give y’all a huge pat on the back. On my way home today there was one of the driving cars. I usually see them on my road but this time the kid was learning how to parallel park. This was mind blowing to me. I know fully grown adults that I have had to park their car for them because they don’t know how. Applause to you for teaching a fully rounded driving course!
