The CLEAN waiting room was quiet and the two people running the front desk are VERY PROFESSIONAL. They dealt with young people’s anxiety and frustration quickly, quietly and in a caring manner. They exuded calmness that helped others in the room maintain their calm too. Testing centers can be stressful, especially for young adults trying to move forward in life. This testing center understands that. Offering TWO test attempts for the price of one is also so professional and courteous-helping lower pressure. We will retire for the driving test in a few weeks! If you’re searching for a legitimate test of site-THIS IS IT!
really good school! me and my friend did classes together and it was really fun and interactive! getting my knowledge test and everything else was really quick and easy, definitely sign up!
Everything was super convenient! Unfortunately had to take both tests again due to a DUI, but the walk in written test made things easy for my schedule. Mike was my driving instructor, he was friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. So happy i can be back on the road safe & most important, legally! Thank you guys!
I passed my test! I am very grateful with on target school as a former student and now licensed driver. Meagan is amazing she made me feel very comfortable both times I took my driving test and during the time I attended the school, she is so professional and calm which makes it easier if you’re an anxious person like myself, always gives you a clear explanation of what you need to do and didn’t do lol. Thank you so much Ontarget ☺️💖
Overall experience 10/10. I had mike as my instructor today, everything was smooth no added pressure and was very friendly. Definitely make sure to practice around that area beforehand! Will def recommend to others

Great communication! Excellent real life experience and advice on top of the lesson plan that really resonates with my daughter. She looks forward to every class and loves to share all she is learning. I think it’s making her more confident about driving on her own soon.
I’m a nearly 30 year old with a driving phobia who avoided getting my license for very many years. I finally got my permit in March and practiced a TON. Decided one day on a whim to call a driving school and schedule a driving test. My instructor was Eddie and the first first test with him I failed. But I’m glad I did, because he showed me everything I was doing wrong that could get me or someone else seriously hurt. Eddie was a police officer for 30 years and not only that, but he’s a father. He’s a really special instructor. He’s firm where needed because he CARES not only about you but about the other people on the road due to seeing things in his former career that nobody should have to see. My dad passed a few years ago and Eddie felt so much like a dad teaching me to drive that it just helped me ‘get it’. After my initial failure I scheduled a 30 minute test drive before and a driving test after. If you fail the first time I strongly suggest this because it helps you work out your nerves while driving and gives the instructor time to teach you further before your next attempt! I feel like everything happens for a reason, and Eddie being my instructor was what I really needed. You might not always love what he tells you, but he’s telling you because he cares. When you make a break through together you can really tell he’s as excited as you are. He really is a rare breed these days and I can’t express to him the impact he has made on my life. If you are an adult driver like me (or a parent of a new driver looking to pair their kid with an instructor who will teach them and really make a breakthrough) and want to take a stab at it, I strongly suggest Eddie. He won’t always be the ‘nice guy’ but he will make sure you understand why and learn the technique needed to be a safe driver because that matters most. Thank you, Eddie, for helping me tackle a phobia that has kept me down for years and has impacted my life. I can’t say another instructor would have done all you did. I am forever thankful for all you did in the two sessions I had with you. Can’t thank you enough. Also the front desk staff is amazing and so, so, so comforting and reassuring. Had a wonderful experience here. :)
The best learning experience for my son and everyone was so patient and knowledgeable when he was first starting out. The admin team is top notch and helpful with scheduling or answering any questions I had. The instructors communicate clearly and ensures the expectations are understood. I would recommend this place over and over again to anyone who has a child that needs to take a drivers ed class or if you were wanting extra refreshers for yourself. Thank you so much! I am extremely grateful for your services!
Although the lobby staff at 911 Driving School were friendly, my experience was seriously affected by one of the examiners. Even though he was not my examiner and was only waiting for his client, he personally judged and disrespected me without knowing anything about my situation. His behavior was completely unprofessional, inappropriate, and unacceptable. It created an uncomfortable and hostile environment, which made me feel unwelcome and disrespected. This kind of conduct is entirely unacceptable and reflects very poorly on the driving school. I strongly urge the management to take immediate action to address this behavior and ensure that all clients are treated with the respect and professionalism they deserve. I would appreciate a follow-up from the management on how this issue will be handled to prevent it from happening to others.
I have now had 3 children participate in this program and it is excellent. My kids are safe, confident and competent drivers. (Everything a dad hopes for before he sends his teenagers out alone behind the wheel.) The instructors are kind and knowledgeable. The stories they share based on their real life experiences are impactful. Highly recommend!

Virtual class experience was decent. There are NEVER drives available. I check the calendar (as recommended) morning and afternoon every Thursday. Cancellations can happen any time so I also check randomly every week. My son took his classes last Nov/Dec 2023 and still can’t get his 5th drive scheduled almost 10 months later. On the rare occasion that a drive is available, it’s in the middle of the day on a school day. Staff had been rude every time I call and ask for help finding drive options. Never again.
I arranged for my grandson to take drivers training. He just completed his first weekend of the online courses . I listened to the zoom meetings and was very impressed with how thorough the program was. They take the training very seriously and make sure that the students are engaged and following the instruction. I went into the office to pick up a workbook and was helped right away by friendly staff. I feel very good about the quality of this program and believe that it will definitely prepare my grandson for the responsibility of being a driver.
Everything seemed to go well, content and lessons were relevant and helpful for passing the state exams. The only issue was that the drive lessons were hard to line up outside of school hours.
Kramer and Rhea were great!! Learned a lot and had fun. great place to go for drivers ed. I personally took the online course and I'm surprised on how they made online so enjoyable. I feel so much more comfortable with driving and everything was very informative.
There is almost never any drives and exams open, if you ever want to complete you have to go on ever Thursday at exactly 12 and compete to get an open slot. Not to mention they are prone to last minute cancelations, so good luck actually being able to get your schooling done through them. The school it self is great such as teachers and the courses, but their lack of business management makes it a horrible place to learn.

I gladly got the opportunity to take my driving and knowledge exam with Megan Akers. She was very professional during the exam part and also very kind during when explaining what the exam consists of. She makes it very clear what she’s looking for and does it in a kind manner. She was such an engaging instructor I couldn’t have asked for better for my first time getting a license.
Please, do not hesitate to enroll here. I swear! They are the best! I had my 1hour behind the wheel lesson and took up the skill test here. Megan was very accommodating and patient. She cares and gives you a straight to the point advice on what to do and not to do before taking the skill test. She made the process so smooth and easy. Kudos!
Amazing Driving School! I came to take my driving test and I was treated with great service and felt very welcomed!! Before I took the exam, they went over everything I needed to hear before I took the exam. Would definitely recommend to come here to take your exam or attend the school!! You will be on good hands for sure!!
Fantastic experience. I'm new to the USA so driving and taking a test was complicated with paperwork and different roads etc. Atlas provided me with all of the information I needed and guided me through the various steps to obtaining my licence. Driving exam and multiple choice, both first time passes. That's coming from someone who's never driven before inside or outside of the USA.
Best driving school!! I love Megan and have learned so much from her. I guarantee you will be able to say the same thing after taking her classes!

awesome driving school, definitely would go there again. personally recommend to schedule your drives with instructor Tony since he’s the best 💯💯
Driving 101 was great to work with. I really appreciate Tony who was the instructor my son had for all 5 drives. He was calm, informative, and had a good sense of humor. Tony took the time to explain driving instructions and techniques before my son had to do them. Having a good instructor like Tony really helps ease anxiety for the new driver and the parent. We will be back in a couple of years when my youngest is ready to drive.
For my first drive I was really nervous and scared that I would fail. But because I had a driver instructor like Tony that feeling went away! He made me feel really confident and made me feel good about doing my first drive! I think what really helped was, he wasn’t one of the ones that are like rude or get really mad if you made a mistake. He was understanding and has a really good sense of humor, anytime I got in the car with him he made me laugh. He is my favorite driver instructor there and I learned that he is many others favorite too. I would definitely suggest driving 101, that school has taught me a lot and the people there are great too.
I’m extremely disappointed with our experience at Driving 101. After my son failed his first driving test, he immediately rescheduled for another one. He spoke with someone over the phone who told him to come back on a Thursday morning. We rearranged our schedules, even pulled him out of school to make it happen, only to be told that his test had actually been scheduled for Wednesday. Despite our efforts to explain the miscommunication, they refused to reschedule or refund the $60 we paid. It felt like a scam like they were just waiting for the mistake to happen so they could pocket the money and move on without any accountability. Almost like they expect this to happen to young adults. Yes, I understand a confirmation email was sent, and I get that my son is 18 now but he’s still learning and trying to figure things out. A simple follow-up call could’ve cleared things up. Instead, they chose to stay silent and let us take the loss. What really rubbed me the wrong way is how generic and dismissive their responses seem in other reviews. There's no real effort to make things right or take ownership of their mistakes. Based on this experience, I will strongly discourage my friends, family, and co-workers, and anyone reading this from using Driving 101. Update in response to the Owner..... Nikki, I appreciate your reply, but unfortunately, it still reflects the same lack of accountability we experienced in person. Yes, an email was sent, but as I mentioned, my son spoke directly with someone on the phone who told him to come in on Thursday morning. That verbal communication directly contradicted the email. You’re serving new drivers, many of whom are young and still learning how to manage responsibilities like confirming appointments and reading fine print. If your business is aware of this, then more than just automated emails should be used—especially when money and time are on the line. You mentioned paying the instructor regardless of attendance. That’s understandable, but it doesn’t justify refusing to acknowledge that your staff gave incorrect verbal information that led to a missed appointment. A quick call, even a text, to confirm whether my son was still coming would have prevented this entirely, and we wouldn't be having this conversation. This situation wasn’t about us missing an email. It was about a poor communication process, an unwillingness to own a mistake, and a policy that prioritizes keeping money over doing what’s right for a customer. We won’t be using your services again, and I’ll continue to share our experience so others can make informed decisions.

Every one of the instructors helped me pass my CDL test. Great guys, a lot of experience. Had a lot of fun and learned a lot.
Instructors are good people. They want nothing more than for you to succeed in this course.
I love trans 360, excellent school!!
TRANS360 staff was very professional and helped me tremendously. They taught me how to drive a manual 10 speed truck in 4 weeks and that was no easy task. Jack was my instructor he was extremely patient and always uplifting me. The curriculum was set up for you get class time first two weeks and drive in the later 2 weeks. I would HIGHLY suggest prioritizing learning the pre trip portion ASAP. It will make or break you. Overall I did well and passed the WA State Exam on the first try and I am now a certified CDL driver. Want to get a CDL in the PDX area? This is the place to do it!
It anyone is having trouble with the Washington state CDL testing this is the place to go. After my company run school failed me in prepping for the pretrip test I found this place. And in one week I had the test down cold and passed. These teacher know there stuff and are also a weather of knowledge.

Frustrating - poor communication. Do not return calls, emails and when they do it's limited information or they only contact my son. Chuck was 20 min late for a drive and didn't let us know - we had to leave. Now trying to get final state testing and help and not getting return calls - finally hear from them and they're 3 weeks out for scheduling. I called a different driving school and was met with happy and helpful people- they were more than accommodating with scheduling. Where is the customer service Confident? I do not recommend this driving school!
The guy who gave me my driving test was super awesome and made me feel really comfortable. I definitely recommend this place!
This is an absolutely great place. The guy that tested me was really nice and funny. He knew I was nervous and was super encouraging. I would recommend anyone to him.
took my driving test here!! if you’re someone who gets nervous or anxious would definitely recommend this place. the guy who did mine was very reassuring and i would definitely recommend taking your test here! :)
If I were to take a driving test anywhere, it would be here, it was amazingly short and straightforward. There wasn’t anything bad to say about the experience, there was however, a problem with getting into contact over the phone with them. Other than that you can expect to pass with ease if you know the fundamentals. 5/5 experience, 2/5 communication.

7/9/15 Chris –Just want to let you know how much we appreciate you and all of your instructors. I attended all but two of the classes presented and I even learned some new things. Everything was very informative and her driving lessons were helpful, too. She did her last drive today and got 100%!!! Now, to me, that says a lot about what you and your staff has taught her. She even catches me and her mom, too, about stopping “on the line” at a light or intersection… The time invested was very well worth it and I tell everyone how great you all are!!! Thank you again…. Linda Cook Tayler Harp’s grandmother
I have a teenager currently enrolled here. Talks constantly about how great the instructors are and all that is being learned. Highly recommend.
I was a student here and I really enjoyed it all classes were good teachers were amazing definitely recommend it
This was by far the worst experience.... I would never recommend this school to anyone. The only positive thing I can say is that Kim is an awesome drive trainer. The owner Chris swore on my daughters first drive. The staff at the desk for customer service is less then incompetent. Nice when they mess up, but oblivious to the fact that they need more people working the office with the amount of kids they pack into the classes. As well as the staff for drivers. It took weeks to schedule a drive, and the last three drives where during school hours. The last straw was the DMV skills drive test, you cant schedule it until you have passed your written test and it was 4 weeks out. So I got a drive test with 911 for my girl and it was the complete opposite experience. I called to cancel the drive test with centerline and they didn't even have it on the schedule. NOT RECOMMENDED!!!
The instructors are kind, professional and patient. I feel safe knowing my son is in excellent hands.

It’s not worth making the time to schedule drives/classes. As seen as a 1/10, it was a nightmare to make the process. Making time and constant excuses isn’t the best when you have been waiting for WEEKS just to start a session. Highly recommend staying away from this business and going elsewhere to get work done.
Big Johns has been a wonderful environment for me and all my classmates. I'm happy I got to learn from some of the best instructors. Many people complain about them on here but what they might not understand is they take everyone's safety on the road seriously and wont pass you unless you truly are ready. Thank you again Big Johns for all the great time.
I think in my opinion this driving school is the best. For those of u who don't know Matt hes that chubby guy if u get him ur going to have a great time, he's cool i like him. idk about the other guy but Matt is cool. Overall awesome school.👍 5 stars
I went and got my license today and when I saw the older lady who was to administer my test i got nervous because of the negative things I'd read, but I honestly cannot understand what the other reviewers here were talking about . She was pleasant, polite, and made my driving test experience an absolute breeze. Would recommend to any and all people needing instruction classes or tests.
If you are looking to do the drive for your license, dont waste your money here! They will make sure you have to come back and pay several times, and make up bs to not pass you! My child was intimidated and given instructions during the test which is not alloud and then because of the instructions given got confused and they auto failed him! They were rude and refused to give us a copy of his test. Instructor was texting and on phone during the test. We blew our money here and wish we would have started at the place we ended up, centerline driving school. They were a much better experience, treated is with compassion, kindness and what do ya know he passed with a very high score immediately after 2 fails at Big Johns!
