We truly appreciate how fast we were able to get appointments scheduled for behind the wheel and observation time. There were a ton of appointment options, and the website was easy to use. The staff were quick to respond, very professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely wanted you to succeed. I'd highly recommend their business!
Drive Wise Driving School is undoubtedly the best driving school in Madison, Wisconsin! I know this because I have talked to some of my friends taking lessons from both Four Lakes and Mad Area but they did not pass the road test on their first attempts even after completing all their lessons. Starting from absolute zero, our instructor Karim taught me and my wife how to drive well and also ace the road test in just a few sessions. As an instructor, Karim is calm and patient with you and lets you do all the maneuvers repeatedly until you have mastered them completely. He is always motivating and inspiring you to drive with confidence. I wholeheartedly recommend Drive Wise because of how much value we both got from it.
I had a great experience with Drivewise! I did 6 lessons driving and observing and they all went super well very easy to schedule lessons and do them. Super easy to communicate with and an overall super positive experience! I do recommend!
Had the road test package with Karim and passed on first try. The service was fantastic. They offer great instruction and has very well equipped vehicle!
I am incredibly grateful I took my driving lessons with Drive Wise! Karim was not only kind and patient throughout each lesson, but he also shared helpful tips that were easy to remember and apply. JP Hash was an amazing driving instructor and I feel very prepared for my test! He came very well recommended to me and was absolutely amazing. He makes the lesson not only productive, but also so much fun! JP is also very good at giving feedback and it really helps you advance your driving by knowing specifically what to work on.
J.P hash is a very personable instructor that makes you feel comfortable when first starting out to drive. He bonds with his students and leaves an inpact on every single one of his students. My teen had 2 great instructors, Bill Scheer and John Olsen, at 4 lakes. We purchased the 9 lessons and most of them ended up being just them with Bill in the car. My kid was very anxious about driving, not the typical kid who can't wait to get a license. John O was very matter of fact and calm and Sun Prairie was a good location to practice the traffic circles (not on my kids drivers test) which are everywhere it seems. Bill S was an excellent instructor. His demeanor is calm, and kind and I'd recommend him for anyone but especially for teens who are the gentle, quiet, artsy type. Bill was also flexible with scheduling directly with him which worked great for my kid. He's a very nice guy. On a side note, my kid did the online lessons with another company out of MN. 4lakes accepted that before the driving lessons began and they took the paper test in 4Lakes Office.
We renecently had a run of bad luck with scheduling driving lessons at 4 lakes but I'm sure it was a weird situation that we kept scheduling with different instructors and they were next in line for the community bug! But I highly applaud the business for reaching out to make sure we were taken care of and all of my daughters lessons were completed. I thought about what Judy was saying about her struggles with finding teachers; if she was not out there herself driving to teach the teens and adults-we would be stuck behind people doing idiot and dangerous driving all the time. It would be their friends teaching them after 18 or whomever they could find. I wonder how many times I've grumbled " Where did so-and-so get their license from" and they DID not have one due to lack of driving schools; and were getting lessons from friends? HUMMMM Kindof Scary. I hope it turns around because we certainly need driving schools for our teens & adults! THANK YOU 4 LAKES and JUDY
Driving instructor JP was great in helping our daughter prepare for her test. He was kind, thorough, and knowledgeable.

Thankful to mad area for helping me achieve my goal of getting my driver's license without them I wouldn't have done it and thanks to my instructor Javier he was a major help preparing me to get my license thanks again javier
I took three classes with Lucas, my instructor. He was extremely patient and is good at his job. Jim, the owner is prompt to calls and setting up appointments. He took me for the test and I got my license. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for driving classes to Mad Area Driving school.

Called and left a voicemail inquiring about lessons three weeks ago. No one returned my call. :(
I had a really good experience with Doug. He is a fantastic instructor, very patient, and very knowledgeable. He is good at teaching. I learned everything about road test from him and was able to pass in one go. They prepare you well for the road test.
Doug is an absolutely wonderful driving instructor and person to work with! He is exceptionally knowledgeable, provides helpful feedback to improve your driving skills, and is overall very pleasant to interact with. I took only a handful of classes and passed my road test on the first try, which I largely have Doug and Panamerican to thank for. I felt very well-prepared on the day of my exam and had been tested on exactly the same kinds of skills that I have worked on with Doug. Very highly recommend!!
The experience was great. Ed is a very experienced man, also a great and humble human being who was patient and very proffesional in the process of my sons license. Thank you Ed.
